We went for a family dinner last night and it was marvellous experience overall. Our host Anaya was amazing she got us what we wanted in timely manner was very courteous polite and a smile on her face thanks Anaya. Food was speechless since we r vegetarian so had so many options but I felt in love with there veggie platter and shabnam ke moti was the top dishes but even other food was good too. The decor lighting and the staff all were very friendly and cheerful. This is the best restaurant in the Abby so far. This was our first visit looking to have more. We recently visited Sahota s Grill in Abbotsford and unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. While the atmosphere was decent, with pleasant decor and a comfortable seating arrangement, the overall experience was let down by the food and service. The biggest disappointment was the food it lacked flavor and felt completely tasteless. Dishes that should have been rich and satisfying were bland and uninspiring. For a restaurant, the taste of the food should be the highlight, but here, it was the weakest aspect. The service was mediocre at best. This place has potential, but they urgently need to focus on improving the quality and taste of their dishes.

I went to Sahora s Live Bar and Grill for lunch today, right when the restaurant opened, and I had an excellent experience! I ordered the veg thali, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were on point, and the portion size was perfect. A special shoutout to my server, Reet, who provided outstanding service. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the meal even more enjoyable. I also loved the convenience of the little electronic devices on the tables, which allow you to call the server directly and specify what you need whether it s more napkins or the bill. Such a thoughtful feature! Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend checking this place out!

My friend and I decided to try Sahota Live Grill on Friday night for a girls night out. It was 7 pm and when we arrived there were plenty of tables available unlike the other newly open Indian restaurant down the street. Which was jam packed! We were happy Sahotas could accommodate! They have done some extensive renovations from the old original Joe s that it once was and it looks great! Upon arrival they let us sit in a large booth as it wasn t very busy. The first thing I noticed is that I couldn t relax! I felt like I was in a night club and not a restaurant! The loud pop music they were playing just didn t suit the restaurant or the vibe! I don t know it just didn t work! My friend and I were discussing how we would much rather have a lower toned, background Indian tunes! Yes! Ok so for dinner we ordered chicken palak which was really tasty and devoured! Super yummy! We also had lamb curry, rice and garlic naan. The lamb curry was so so nothing special and a little bland. We loooove garlic naan and were a little disappointed as it to was bland. We couldn t taste any garlic at all. We ordered 2 glasses of the Riesling they had there which was a nice accompaniment to go with our spicy food. Wine was ok. I m a bit of a wine snob soooo. I noticed coppermoon on the menu so I didn t really have high expectations We will give this place another go. Maybe happy hour or lunch next time. Hopefully a little better experience. wish I would have taken pics! Presentation of food was lovely.

I have dined at the Surrey location multiple times, yesterday was my first experience at the Abbotsford location. Everything was exceptional and exceeded expectations. The Methi Chicken and Soya Achari Chaap were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The service was outstanding, with staff being attentive and friendly throughout. The environment was warm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained, adding to the overall dining experience. It truly deserves a 5-star rating!

We ordered food through Uber eats today 2 Kadai Paneer, Garlic Naan, Tandoori Naan and Butter naan. They put artificial color in the kadai paneer. And their naan were the worst naan we have ever tried . It felt like you are having a raw pizza dough. Sorry for this bad review but i was really disappoint ed but when i called resturant the front desk lady Raman was nice .

Ordered yesterday tandoori chicken and non veg platter. Tandoori chicken was disappointing regarding the choice of pieces, it was awful. There was one piece tasted like I have never experienced such pathetic taste, so bad. Didn t expect such from Sahotas. Platter was good.

Order came quickly , server Anya was prompt and ensured all our needs were covered. Highly recommend

I went for a dine in with my family at Sahota s Live Grill . Their new branch at Abbotsford is exceptionally great . Food, service and a wide variety to choose your happy meal from . Honestly we were confused so, their Manager Raman helped us to choose our appetizers and she gave best advice . Highly recommended .

Great food, loved the vibe

The atmosphere of restaurant is awesome and food is too delicious especially the presentation of gulabjamun and brownie sizzler that force everyone too more.

We went there today and were pleasantly surprised. The food was decent overall, though some dishes were a bit overpowered by typical desi masalas (spices). We ordered the kebab platter, which I believe had goat or lamb kebabs, and it had a very strong, gamey taste that was a bit overwhelming. However, the rest of the meals were enjoyable. The service was exceptional, with Jashan, our server, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Friendly and attentive, she made us feel truly welcomed. Also, the atmosphere was amazing, with a warm and welcoming vibe that really enhanced the experience. It s nice to finally have a solid Indian restaurant in Abbotsford after so long. With a few adjustments to the food, this place could easily become a local favorite, but improvements are a must, especially with their prices and also Tasty Indian Bistro opening next week. Why the name is live grill ? None of the table in Abbotsford have live grill. Also the quantity and size is reduced for the price they are selling the dishes. I had high hopes from you but compared to similar big Indian restaurants in Abbotsford, Sahota live grill failed to impress. Food

The food was absolutely amazing. We had chicken biriyani and tikka masala. Both were outstanding and the service was very friendly and helpful.

We went there today for lunch got there dynamite lamb and chef special seekh kabab there were amazingly delicious . We got there drinks and the service was top notch the server Pri did an amazing job to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Must try this place.

I recently dined at this restaurant and it was by far one of the most disappointing dining experiences I ve had. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was abysmal. When we finally got seated, it took another 20 minutes just to get water, asked 3 times for just ice. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive throughout the entire meal. Unfortunately, the food didn t redeem the poor service. The dishes were bland and lacked flavor, and some of the items we ordered came out cold. We had to ask multiple times for basic things like condiments and napkins, which felt like we were bothering the staff. Even the presentation was sloppy, far from what you d expect for the prices they charge.
