Approachable, Artisanal Bistro in Abbotsford BC
My sisters and I came here for dinner. We all enjoyed our food and drinks. Both my sisters have celiacs disease and there were lots of gluten free items for them. Our server was helpful and efficient. We were pleased with our experience. To get to the restaurant you enter through a couple doors, the outside door into the building has an accessible button, however, the door into the restaurant does not. This makes the entrance inaccessible contrary to what is listed in their about section. This is a new building which makes this even more disappointing. There are chairs that can be moved for wheelchair users at the tables and no stairs. This is a small restaurant and reservations are recommended. It is also on the higher price point.
First time at the table. First off the whole place was dirty we were there right at opening 11 am. Even the bathrooms were dirty. server didnt know what day it was told us the wrong specials. Server also didn't know anything about the food and if frozen or fresh where is the burger meat from etcetera.... My mom's potatoes were burnt on top. My fettuccine Alfredo tasted like a side kick package of noodles also over cooked the only thing that saved it was the garlic bread and the fact that we were starving. The water cups were stained and the water tasted so bad like heavy clorine that is wasn't drinkable... We will never be back.
My now husband, was a certified chef and for our wedding, wanted to do a 5 course dinner (as the groom). When i finally convinced him of insanity🤦♀️🤣 lol, he had 1 request, to dine where they had the quality, portions, value and service equal to or greater than he could do himself. It was not a choice, it was the #1 Abbotsford restaurant... Table Bistro. Not only did they accomodate our wedding party but our guests. The gratuity of 18% was a concern for our guest at first as our party was 20 people but the quality, value, vast selection & timeliness of table service and atmosphere made our concerns moot. We sincerely recommend the eclectic experience thats is, the Table Bistro. Thank you so much for being apart of our story.
Came back for our one year anniversary and the food was just as amazing. Our server Quang is always easy going and friendly, always offering suggestions and very helpful. The food is amazing. My boyfriend got the salmon and I got the braised beef, both perfection. Their cocktails are unique and tasty as well and a nice ambiance in the restaurant. The host wasn’t very friendly but our server and the food/drinks made up for it. Great experience overall and we will be back for sure!
While I was really looking forward to trying this place, but we didn’t leave overly happy with our choice to come. We rarely get a night out without the kids, and right off the bat after getting seated the restaurant is very cramped and loud, but I still had very high expectations for a good dinner. After a first look at the menu we were excited to get some drinks going. We ordered drinks, and they took quite a while to come. They were good though. We ordered the empanadas to start! Those were super yummy. For our mains we ordered spicy peanut and a pizza. Unfortunately the pizza definitely fell short, it seems slightly underbaked, and in the middle it ended up being super soggy and wet. The spicy peanut was sooooo good. So me and husband shared that instead and the pizza will probably ended up getting tossed if we can crisp it up in the oven. Things that could use some improvement are the washrooms were quite gross, the garbages overflowing at the beginning of dinner hour(we were there at 5:30) and the speed they are making drinks. It was the longest wait I’ve probably experienced anywhere between drinks. Every-time we ordered a new one we were waiting around 15-20 minutes for it to come. Would have a hard time coming back, but probably would order spicy peanut for take out because it’s so flipping good!
The dazzle and eclectic hum of a busy dining room was the ambient atmosphere of table bistro this evening. I had the privilege of pretesting my wedding dinner with the company of my fiancé. We were seated at the bar as we did not make a reservation so we could stay anonymous to taste and test the quality, service, and food and objectively decide if this is where we wanted to do our reception dinner. We were promptly served our beverage and as I simply drink water, my water glass never was emptied without the server refilling it. Our order was taken promptly, and it was accurate. Despite the house being full, by the food was served hot and fresh without an iota of disappointment. I ordered the braised short ribs with a creamy mashed potatoes and select perfectly cooked vegetables at top hunters Dale micro greens as accents. It was served with a braised gravy with a hint of peppercorn that really accented the meal. My fiancé had the blackened chicken seared to perfection and served with dauphine potatoes micro greens, and heirloom, carrots, and purple onion medley. The chicken came with a jus and as my husband to be was kind enough to share, I tasted beautiful accents of perfectly cooked juicy chicken. We ordered our dessert before finishing in anticipation of the marvel that table bistro offers. My fiancé ordered the deconstructed cheesecake which was light and fluffy almost like I would imagine eating a cloud made of strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla. I myself had the crème brûlée, complete with the torched top that cracked with an ambient sound and was absolutely divine. I am pleased to include table bistro as our destination for our wedding, and would recommend table bistro to all that quality, and consistent service. Their kitchen staff know their stuff, and you will not be disappointed.
Pretty bad. My party of 3 went for an "artisanal experience", as advertised, and waited for 30 minutes just for drinks on a Wednesday afternoon, then we waited at least another hour for our food. The bathrooms were disgusting, paper towel and toilet paper on the floor, garbage cans hadn't been emptied - it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. After waiting for over 45 min., we finally received our food which was mediocre - the pizza crust was good, but the duck was dry and under cooked. There were bugs flying all over us as we ate. We saw kitchen staff using a bug zapper to kill flies. Again, pretty bad. We saw staff on their phones; had to ask twice for water refills and napkins. Very much overpriced for what we got. Do NOT recommend. Sorry...
This was my and my spouse's first visit to this restaurant. What a gem! Nestled in the middle of nowhere (in an office building/tall residential tower) in low hanging residential Abby south of Mill Lake, it delivers a downtown big city ambience, excellent service and delicious high end tasting food. We had the house Chaberton Red and White wines with Sweet Potato Hummus with Crostini and Artichoke Cheese Dip with Tortilla Chips from the HAPPY HOUR menu. Both were very flavourful to our palates. These were the best tasting appies we've had in many years! My spouse then had the Harvest Salad with Grilled Chicken and I devoured a Smashburger and Caesar Salad that were unique and oh so tasty! We had no room for dessert but each managed a second glass of wine. This hidden restaurant is well worthing seeking out if you are looking for fine-dining at a reasonable price.
We went to celebrate the 47th anniversary of our first date. Our friends were with us because we were celebrating their 43rd wedding anniversary. We each ordered one of the mains. Each of us were delighted with our meals! We highly recommend eating at The Table! Parking: Easy to find parking.
Love this place
Exceeded our expectations! The food, drinks and service was top notch. I would highly recommend! We re going back soon!
A disappointing experience from a place self-described as Approachable and artisanal - the food was mediocre and the service downright neglectful. My entre arrived before I was finished my starter, and was placed beside me, the unfinished starter remaining on the table to the end of the meal. The server checked in late into the meal; my fish was almost done by the time she asked if it was okay. My water glass wasnt refilled, sitting empty for the last half of the meal. The food was only slightly better. The artichoke dip starter was bland (and served with taco chips), and the salmon was dry and its skin soggy. The presentation of the salmon was nice, but the chef was heavy-handed with the Cajun spice, overwhelming both the salmon and the vegetables. I didnt stay for coffee or desert, and left disappointed.
The Table Bistro is a sophisticated restaurant with a calming atmosphere. When I arrived, I got a table right away without a reservation. The establishment was small, yet clean and captivating to look at. I ordered the Blackened Teri Bowl with Tofu from the seasonal menu, which changes every 2 to 3 months. Everything in the entree tasted fantastic, including the pineapple pieces. The teriyaki sauce was exuberant in flavour and made the teri bowl an exceptional dish. I ate there for brunch as well and had a great experience. I ordered the Table Eggs Benedict with an Americano and Breakfast Old Fashioned. The eggs benedict was amazing with the high-grade ingredients that they were made with. The cocktail was a fascinating interpretation of the specialty drink. The only issue with this restaurant is that they do not serve traditional drip coffee, which is why I ordered Americano. Nonetheless, it still tasted great and went good with everything else. The service was great. The waiter frequent my table many times to fill my glass with water and was very generous about it. I was even able to get a reservation on my second visit for just myself when I was told it was busy. The restaurant also has a greater selection of beverages than several other places. I very much recommend the Table Bistro for high-quality dinners and brunch. Vegetarian options: They serve entrees with tofu as your choice protein. They also serve the Plant Smash Burger and the Harvest Salad.
My partner and I booked a table last night. Reading the reviews, we had expected for the restaurant to be very busy. If you are looking for a more quiet or intimate dinner, Monday evening is the day to go! My partner had the siciliano pizza, the size of the pizza was large which was great. Tasty too. I had the short rib pappardelle. House red wine was nice. The star of the show was the garlic bread. The noodles were ok, slightly undercooked and gummy. I had a couple flakes of short rib, but there was not much at all. We walked out of the restaurant feeling like we would like to try again, maybe only for lunch. However, we are not sure now as we both got home and had very sore stomachs!
Delicious brunch with wonderful service! I will plan to come here again when Im looking for an upscale brunch in Abbotsford!
I just wanted to pass on our thank you to the staff who made us feel so welcome right from the front. Our server Taylor was so attentive, and not only friendly but made us feel like family. What an effort on the part of all the staff, including the staff member who made our Chai Lattes, one of the best we have ever had. The service was all around amazing and the food was simply delicious. We will definitely be back.
Our server had a hard time dividing our bills and had to redo it many times and never got it right. The food needed salt although the specials were good. They have a large menu! Lots of options.
Fantastic food and drinks. Intimate setting with an energetic menu and lovely service staff.
The host Hunter was very accommodating, friendly and sociable. Our waitress Ruby was spot on with service and her recommendations with food. The food itself was amazing! I highly recommend Blackened Teri bowl and the Calabrian Hot Honey pizza! Totally coming back here!!
First off, our server was so wonderful. I am celiac and she was very knowledgeable on the menu for what I could/could not eat. The food was so delicious, wonderful presentation, and it was actually gluten free! I did not get sick after! The menu had lots of variety. So nice to be able to have mashed potatoes instead of the classic French fry. They even gave us a free dessert as us girls were celebrating an engagement, and purchasing a wedding dress! Highly recommend. Dietary restrictions: All the soup, potato options, burgers, and some mains/appies! Lots of variety!
Excellent food, lots of parking.
A gem of a spot in Abbotsford. Modern and cozy atmosphere, effiecient and friendly service and delicious food. Superb happy hour menu all options were fabulous. We had the duck chorizo tacos, foccacia and balsamic oil, hummus and spinach and artichoke dip. Would highly recommend this restaurant for delicious food and amazing service.
Food is unbelievable, owner makes you feel like a friend, definitely make a reservation, we just went after church so it was busy and we waited a long time. Servers really go the extra mile though. So so worth going!! and going again!! Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating for children
Small menu, good food. Lots of parking and easy to find.
This place is awesome! Highly recommend!
Amazing! Very Gluten friendly also!
Always the best! Fabulous people who own it, great service, quality food.
Service was great! Thanks Avery!! Food really good! Ambiance was also great!
Outstanding experience every time! The team is amazingly kind and make you feel comfortable in the space. I felt more as a guest then a customer. No notes. Vegetarian options: There are many options and possibilities to make things vegan. Dietary restrictions: Many options offered and available for all dietary restrictions. Parking: Plenty of room to park nearby. Kid-friendliness: It may be fancier, but everyone is welcomed. Wheelchair accessibility: From the patio and indoors, everything is single story and flat.
Amazing food, great atmosphere if you re looking for a date night or classy vibe with the girls! Service was impeccable, couldn t have had a better night!
The Pan Roasted Chicken is amazing
I recently visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the braised short rib was exceptional beautifully plated and full of flavor. The borscht was equally comforting and delicious. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with tasteful décor and cleanliness that made me feel at ease. I was also pleased with the ample gluten-free options on the menu, which added to the inclusive dining experience. However, there were several areas where the restaurant fell short. Service was slow; we waited quite some time before ordering. While the braised short rib was impressive, the chicken sandwich left much to be desired. Unfortunately, it was served so hot that it burned the roof of my mouth to the point of skin peeling. This raises a serious safety concern what if a child or elderly guest were served such a dish? While the manager did kindly comp the meal, it s been almost 48 hours, and I m still struggling to eat and drink comfortably. Additionally, while our original server was pleasant, we were switched to another, much younger server, who was overly enthusiastic to the point that it came across as annoying and in our faces. As much as I appreciated the efforts of the management, I left feeling unsettled by the kitchen s lack of caution. Though the restaurant has its merits, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend it when there are concerns about safety and consistency in service. I highly doubt I will come back here. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options
I rarely if ever write reviews, but I had such an outstanding experience at The Table Bistro that I felt compelled to share. We went there for brunch, and the French toast was simply exceptional. I also tried some of the rösti from my wife s dish, and it was a revelation. Being originally from Switzerland, I grew up eating lots of rösti (as you can imagine? ), but this one might have been the best I ve ever tasted. I was genuinely impressed to find such high-quality, authentic flavors here. The service was equally remarkable. Even though the place was packed, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended. I m already planning my next visit!
This was our first visit to the Table Bistro and it was a great experience. Our server Quang was full of energy and personality and very attentive. They made a slight error on my order but were really fast in correcting it and even discounted the bill for the minor inconvenience. The manager came over to apologize and was also really helpful. It says a lot that this was our first time here and even with a slight mistake they were still amazing and we still had a great experience! Highly would recommend and will go back!
Very noisy. Had the harvest salad, it could have had less lettuce and more cut up veggies.
Went to the Table on a double date last Friday and had an incredible experience! Weve been huge fans of the Table for a few months, getting takeout once a week but this was our first experience dinning in. The food is always top tier! Weve never tried a single thing we didnt love (and weve worked our way through nearly half the menu at this point)! Our server, Tayler (with an E) was absolutely AMAZING! Super friendly, personal, and stellar service! Our drinks never ran dry, she would check in throughout the service and get us whatever we needed. She even helped us settle a passionate debate we were having at the table (no pun intended) as we needed a tie breaker! Such a wonderful, genuine person which made the experience that much more enjoyable. My only regret was that the food was so darn good, and we ate so much that there was no room for dessert! All in all, 100/10 on food, atmosphere and service. Well definitely continue coming and recommending The Table to everyone we know. Alright, thats all. Thanks for listening to my TED Talk!
Went on a Sunday evening. Surprisingly busy. Great service food and drink all evening. Recommend the hummus starter. Patio is awesome and they provide blankets for cold evenings.
My wife and I went here for a quite date night. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. For mains we had the pan roasted chicken and braised short ribs. Both dishes were cooked to perfection and had great flavour. The proportion of meat to starch was perfect and the veggies were cooked perfectly. Before the meal we had cocktails and spinach dip and enjoyed those as well. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding - delicious as well. The only negative, if you are here for a more upscale dinner, is that there are only four mains to choose from, one of them being vegetarian. The other options are all sandwiches, burgers, etc. so maybe better for a lunch or more casual dinner. Overall the service was great and we had a very good experience. Would return!
I have truly missed going out for breakfast. Its been a while. So that might skew my review. The food is excellent. We shared the poached eggs with short ribs and the smash burger breakfast sandwich. I would have both again. Good food, friendly fun warm service. I gave the atmosphere 2 stars originally because it was loud and my partner couldnt hear me. I am also a quiet talker. The patio might be quieter. Oh and the pudding with vanilla ice-cream and caramel sauce was unexpectedly tasty. Better than the amazing cheese cake. Kid-friendliness: 2 kid items on the menu. Ours is a fussy eater. So we just ordered an egg and toast.
I am so sad! Being such a foodie and trying new spaces is my favorite! The pictures and vibe of this space is very cool and everything I would go for. I planned a dinner date with a friend and when I got there the parking struggle was real! But when I came in the doors the server and host were standing there and truthfully Ive never ever felt more judged walking into a restaurant:( I was walked to a table and it was quite snobby and rude. The service was very slow. The presentation of the food was beautiful but the rest just ruined the experience. The drinks were very fun and neat. Disheartening as I am sure this has serious potential but the staff is what makes the experience.
Great casual dinning experience 100% would recommend! The Alfredo is top notch.
Food was great. I got a ceaser and blackened chicken bowl.
Update.. Oct 2024 Since my previous review below, I can now say that Ive had way better service on numerous occasions. Today, the service was amazing, and our server was Taylor. She was very attentive, and you could tell she took pride in her job. We enjoyed a lovely brunch for my girlfriends birthday and were both very happy with the food and drinks. The birthday treat was also a nice compliment. - ----------------- Excited to try this place and celebrate a nice evening with my dad. It wasnt until after we placed our order for appy and drinks. It was taking some time to get additional service for another drink, water and the entree. I then proceeded to watch our server sit down and enjoy her own meal while we were still waiting ..so awkward because it was right in front of us and no one offered to take over until we said something. It wasnt even busy and had a reservation. Food was great, but unfortunately the service took away from it. If you would like more information, Id be more than happy to speak with your manager.
Delicious food. The Tuna Poke and Short Rib pasta was stellar. The cheese cake was jawdroping. The peach cobbler was a bit to sweet for my liking but it was truly a delightful experience.
I was surprised how small this place is. It is definitely a tuck your elbows in establishment. But the food makes up for it. I have no complaints everything we had was delicious. Our server was friendly and our food came out pretty quick.
Amazing gluten free. Duck and chorizo tacos are to die for and very unique. The deconstructed cheesecake is amazing and can be made gluten free. Service was outstanding
Wonderfully inventive, delicious food. Most of it can be done gluten-free too!
Dietary restrictions: Awesome gluten free options Food
My husband, baby & I stopped by for an early dinner while staying in Abbotsford. The service was quick, the food was fresh, hot, good sized and delicious! I also think that the prices were more than reasonable for a nice sit down restaurant. While we were eating, a very kind man (I m assuming he s the owner) was doing an orientation for a new hire. You can tell that he takes pride in his restaurant, and cares for the space and his employees. There were too many items I wanted to try on the menu (we had borscht soup, focaccia bread, smash burger, spicy peanut bowl, and sticky toffee pudding). Next time we re in Abbotsford I will definitely come back to try the other items I wanted!
As usual, the food was fantastic. Service however; with a smile yes, when we had any. A different server brought appies and started taking away the menus. But waitress hadn t been back to take our orders. I heard another table asking if someone could come take their order. We opted not to have our birthday desserts there and instead went to Dairy Queen. Definitely not the attentive service we would expect or have had previously. Sure hope it s a one-off
My husband and I went for an impromptu date night at Table Bistro, and had such a lovely time! The food was delicious, and the staff were extremely conscientious about and accommodating of my husbands Celiac dietary restrictions. We will absolutely be back! Dietary restrictions: Excellent for Celiac or gluten allergy
A lovely place to meet friends.
Vegetarian options: A couple of unique options, and all the basics (salad, sandwich, burger) Food
The only issue I could come up with for this restaurant was at the tables are very crowded together and it was quite noisy. Next time I might try the patio because the food was absolutely outstanding. I had the duck Cubana and a cup of the Tomato soup. It definitely was filling and delicious.
We were in the area & based on the positive reviews online decided to give this place a try. We had the pizza, made with their own dough and smash burger made with home made patties not frozen, and everything was awesome! Loved the decor/atmosphere , it feels upscale with not being too fancy and our server Tayler was the best, she made the whole experience even better. I would highly recommend this place. Also their smoky bourbon & tequila old fashioned are definitely worth a try!
Went out for a birthday brunch, came all the way out from Vancouver to visit with family. Brunch was delicious and fresh, great friendly/fast service (our server was a young blonde woman - positive and very bubbly!). I had the eggs Benedict and they were tasty. I will come back again! Highly recommend brunch!
I have to say, the staff at this restaurant were some of the most welcoming people collected in one place. Came in for brunch with our little dog. Food was great, staff were awesome!
I rarely give a five star for anything. The Cajun chicken burger I had was delicious. The pickle was perfect for balanced flavor and texture. My friends dish as very good as well. Parking: No stairs
Great little American restaurant in town. Clean, and the food is good. They have blankets for when its cold on the patio. I liked the coffees.
I usually have nothing but good things to say about Table and either eat here or get takeout from them once a week. I tell everyone I know to come and eat at this restaurant but after what I paid for last night I will likely not be eating here again. They have a new and notable menu which looks AWESOME. The first thing that caught my eye was the short rib pappardelle. I got this dish as takeout so I could eat at home. They have a picture of this dish on their instagram. I understand that sometimes when you get food in a takeout container it can look not as appetizing but I was FLABBERGASTED when I opened my pappardelle when I got home. IT WAS 28 DOLLARS. #1. you can get better tasting pasta out of a chef boyardee can. #2. The sauce was just butter. Its like I made noodles for my picky four year old kid and slapped some butter on it and sprinkles a LIGHT (and I mean LIGHT PORTION) of parmesan cheese on for added flavour. I am so disappointed. See attached photos for *advertised* vs *reality*
They were really busy, so it took a few minutes for the server to show up, but the food was well worth the wait. We will be back.
Amazing service, good food
Ordered Take out. First time trying this restaurant out. Tried the blacken teriyaki chicken bowl. All I can say is that it was so tasty! I throughly enjoyed every bite. I would definitely recommend this dish! I will have to go in and sit down to get the full experience next time.
Update! Weve been back to Table several times now, and the service and food are just as impeccable as the first time. Today, Claire was our server and she was lovely, perfectly attentive, and made great recommendations. Highly recommend the Brunch Eggs Benedict, which was amazing, and the blackberry French toast was also delicious. Also enjoyed a perfectly crafted cappuccino and cortado, and for those with dairy sensitivities, they have milk alternatives. Love Table bistro and cant wait to go back for another brunch! TLDR: Cant recommend The Table Bistro highly enough. A beautiful dining experience that stands head and shoulders above the rest in Abbotsford. Reservations are available over the phone. Easily the best dining experience Ive had in Abbotsford. I was certain the other reviews were exaggerating (I see you, Yaletown reviewer!), but I was wrong! From top to bottom, The Table Bistro delivers a sublime experience. Great staff, beautiful plating, exquisite food. I highly recommend the duck and chorizo tacos. Not only is the salsa the tacos are paired with lovely (and perfectly spiced), but the beef consomme was perfect. Easily the best tacos Ive had in Abbotsford, and among the best Ive had in BC. They reminded me of birria tacos, which is wonderful. The braised short rib was also divine--melt in your mouth perfection, topped off with a gorgeous gravy. Dessert was cheesecake (vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry), and creme brule. Both were delicious, though if youre only getting one, go with the creme brule and thank me later. Finished with an espresso macchiato (its so nice to have the option for an after-dinner espresso), and that was that! The cocktail options are second to none in Abbotsford, and Vancouver quality without Vancouver prices. Be sure to ask about any seasonal offerings, because there were a few and the strawberry sage drink I had was exquisite. Other than that, the Caesar was perfect and beautifully presented, as were all the drinks we tried (and we tried a few). The bartender was also able to make an off-menu ask, which was greatly appreciated. She did an amazing job all night! Our server was lovely and attentive, but balanced and let us enjoy the meal and the ambience. I also really enjoyed the decor and ambience of the restaurant. Cant wait to return. Thanks so much for a lovely experience. May 15, 2023: Popped back in for another visit (actually, one of several) and still appreciate the quality of the food, drinks, and service. On the seasonal menu, the strawberries and cream cocktail is wonderful and goes down so easy, and the Hotel Georgia is light and refreshing. The duck tacos are still really tasty, and the empanadas are definitely worth trying they as were also delicious. Loved the roasted chicken and you should not leave here without getting the creme brulee because it is the best creme brulee that I have had in recent memory. Thanks again!
Service is amazing and food is outstanding. My family comes here regularly! Love it there!
Love it there roti (flatbread) is top tier. WPLACE
Service was outstanding. Gave me a free appetizer when they figured the food was taking too long. The food tastes amazing and the prices are reasonable.
Outstanding food... the tomato soup was unreal and Im very appreciative of all the vegan options! Dietary restrictions: Great vegan options
Nice waitress. Good food. The prices went up, but it can be afforded.
From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed, were seated promptly and details of the menu were provided. Everyone there was very friendly, personable, and genuine. The food was amazing. It tasted so good. We picked two items off their special menu (bacon onion jam burger and perogie pizza) and both were delicious. I dont know if it was the perogie and cream sauce combo, but the taste of their thin crust pizza dough crust reminded me of my Omas homemade buns. Maybe thats also in part becasue they make everything from scratch in-house... I didnt take pictures, because it was so good it disappeared quick. Cant wait to go back and try more of the menu.
Great service and food
Our server was lovely but the kitchen is slow. We shared 3 appies (hummus, cheese dip & focaccia bread, all of which were Excellent, where their food falls short were their spicy peanut bowl (not spicy until we asked for chili oil on the side) and Carbonara which was dry, with no favour at all and to rectify it they brought a alfredo sauce which looked like plan milk and did not add anything to the dish. Bowls were just shy of $30 and not worth that. The Blackened bowl was more spicy and was the best of the 5 dishes we ordered. Dessert, we shared 1 peach cobbler which was ok. We likely will not go back to this restaurant again as $345 for 5 people is a little pricey and nicer places with better mains are available. But again, the Server was sweet and the appies were excellent
Need to work on Cheesecake ..
This was our 2nd time here. We remembered the enjoyable time we had when I took my husband there for his birthday. This time we went for our anniversary! The food and service are amazing. The friendliness and care of the staff is exceptional! We love this place!!
Such lovely staff they were kind and accommodating with our kids and dietary restrictions. Also best chai tea latte I ve ever had. Would highly recommend. Dietary restrictions: Have some menu options for those who are vegan, vegetarian or gluten free.
Decided to try this restaurant as my friend has a celiac allergy and there s lots of options. Our server was also the hostess and as a result the service was very slow. I felt she was trying really hard but it just seemed she had too many things to manage. I really enjoyed the plant based smash burger but the side options were odd and some fries would have hit the spot. The brunch looked really good and the lunch menu has lots of options depending on food allergies. I recall that the space used to be another restaurant not that long ago so perhaps they are still ironing out the kinks. I would certainly return for the veggie smash burger. Vegetarian options: Try the plant based smash burger. Dietary restrictions: Lots for celiac and gluten free eaters.
The margarita pizza here is my favorite in the city of Abbotsford, the atmosphere is a little posh but its a nice change of pace out here. The mixologists/bartenders they have always do an incredible job at making drinks, and for the whole experience I think the prices are worth it!
I would highly recommend trying out The Table Bistro! It is a beautiful restaurant with high quality food and beverages. Lots of in house made items! The professionalism, cleanliness and top quality of the service and food is hard to come by these days. Jove, the owner is very personable, friendly and engaging with his customers. He made sure our dining experience was up to par. This is definitely a must try in Abbotsford!
Amazing food, gorgeous building , wonderful service. Love it!
This was our first time at The Table Bistro and we were not disappointed. It definitely lives up to the hype. This may be our new favourite restaurant in Abbotsford. If you ve never eaten here you need to try it. We ordered the bacon onion jam burger and the braised short rib. We also got a paloma and mojito off the happy hour menu. The staff here are great and the food was delicious. I feel like the prices are reasonable and they have specials depending on the day of the week you go. We will definitely be back! Edit: We came back a week later to try their duck & chorizo tacos and Calabrian hot honey pizza. On Thursdays they have $5 off their pizzas. The service was exceptional. Love this place.
Jove and his staff do an excellent job. Good food prepared well in a nice atmosphere. Had Pasta Carbonara & Pappardelle Short Rib. A great find we will be returning to. Food : 5/5 |
Well, there was a big delay on the food when we came here. Normally, I would be leaving a 2 star for that. But the manager came himself to apologize. That won me over. That and the food!! Delicious! Will be coming back soon and a huge thanks for the staff and the manager for handling things in such a unique and professional manner.
The food is amazing however they seem to be having service challenges that can lead to very long wait times for seating (even with empty tables) and food. Not sure if its due to staffing shortages or inexperience but maybe given some time they can work through those. I really want to like this place but after two less than ideal experiences at brunch it will be awhile before trying again.
The best Bistro! Staff was absolutely fantastic. Food and drinks were perfect. I will definitely be back.
I recently visited this place for dinner and have to say only good things about it. The food was great, from starters to mains and desserts all tasted delicious. The ambience of the place was great too and the service was top notch. Highly recommend this place for a visit.
We have been here twice for date night! The food is super good! The service is amazing! Can t wait to go back and try more! I could eat the sweet potato hummus everyday all day!
Great meal!
What a cool place. Our first time there. Service was incredible. 4 of us went for happy hour. The food. OMG fantastic. It is a great place to go.
Such a good restaurant. I eat out multiple times a week and this has quickly become my new favourite spot. The drinks are always amazing, the food is always 10/10, and the owner is just the nicest person ever. I would highly recommend driving out here to try this place it is definitely worth it. I bring all of my friends out to show them this hidden gem of a restaurant when I can.
Great food, cocktails, and service! Bacon jam burger so delicious. My favorite is sweet potato hummus. Salad light refreshing w/salmon cooked perfectly. Food
Excellent service and awesome vegan choices Vegetarian options: Vegan Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free
This was an absolute great way to start the day! The server we had over the weekend was Tyra. She had a wealthy knowledge of how she could make our meals/experience outstanding. The food and drinks were scrumptious!! Thank you to the whole team that made this morning a delight!
Delicious food and very friendly staff.
I have been to the Table now several times in the last year. The food is always delicious and the service keeps getting better. Keep up the great work Jove and Team!
Exceptional service!
Eating here is a dream for Gluten Free diets and Celiacs! Wanted to try a new restaurant and was not disappointed. The food, the staff and the whole experience was amazing. I felt like a normal person eating out finally. (I have Celiacs disease) And honestly the best part was being able to steal nibbles of food off my boyfriends plate. (Something I have been able to do in the past 2 years) If you have celiac I highly recommend eating here as 90% of the menu is gluten free or can be modified to be. I will be going to The Table Bistro so often now that you will probably see me there eating too. Vegetarian options: Cater to vegans Dietary restrictions: Cater to gluten free
Food and our experience is good but not memorable. 3 stars overall..
Elevated artisanal bistro located in the heart of Abbotsford. The food is delicious and fresh. Its patio season, and has a spacious patio. Its perfect for summer. The dine-in area is cozy, with a nice ambiance. Food presentation is rustic, straight forward menu with tasty dishes. Smash burger was good. Dessert was perfect, their seasonal sticky toffee pudding. The location gets really busy, so reservations are recommended.
Absolutely amazing steelhead salmon and sauce! And the old ways scotch
Had a great experience every visit. Recently had a hiccup during our last visit and they handled it with such professionalism and did more than we have ever experienced anywhere before. The guest Experience tops any place in town. And the food is amazing!
Customer service was amazing from the second we walked in. Food was amazing but I wish we would have gotten a cheese other than just parmesan for our charcuterie board.
Best burger I ve ever had! The service from the moment we walked in to the moment we left was absolutely 10/10. We will definitely be coming back. Kid-friendliness: Even though The Table Bistro is a bit elevated of a dining experience, they accommodated to my 4 year old beautifully. They had colouring for her, a kids menu, and the server engaged her really meaningfully. Again 10/10!
I didnt like eating salty food because I was pregnant, but unfortunately, all the dishes I ordered were salty, so it was difficult to eat them. But I dont think the food was tasteless in the first place. Watermelon-flavored cocktail is delicious! I heard its a great coffee and brunch place so Im going to go back and try it.
Wonderful Food and Great Service.. a very nice place to go for lunch orbdinner..
Had vegetarian food which they suggested but was not impressive dish plus quality was too less all plate was empty around i dont why but they charged like around 30 for that so for me once visit place being honest BECAUSE it was reunion of me with my school friend from india so was ok ok experience i expected more as they are rated like 4.7 by people .. But they need to work on their food and quantity so that they can justify their prices Vegetarian options: 3 only may be 4
Such a beautiful restaurant, and the staff was so friendly. The owner came over to our table to welcome back my two friends I came with and he recognized that it was my first time coming. I ve never been treated so well at a restaurant before. Talking about excellent customer service!!! Will be coming back very soon! :). The owner was outstanding with his staff.
Happy hour - duck and chorizo taco - flavourful, didn t even need to dip the sauce. Dip - warm and well done. Tomato soup - fresh and not sour. Food : 4/5 |
Fantastic experience! The lamb shank was incredible!
Very beautiful busy restaurant. The customer service was good
I cant emphasize enough not to order the creme brule. You will be disappointed and will question how its called creme brule in the first place. Excellent service, clean, good coffee, but damn, bad creme brule.
We came in for a late lunch and happy hour. Menu has a variety of options. Overall everything was great. They have a nice patio area.
The food here is amazing, they have such quick and friendly service. Definitely recommend!
Lovely experience with tasty & generous food. The concierge and waitress were so friendly and accommodating too. A bit pricey but love that everything is made fresh in house. Was in Abbotsford for a hospital appointment so The Table Bistro being a couple minutes drive was handy and a treat. Vegetarian options: Some Vegetarian and Vegan options which is why I chose to dine here.
waiter neglected us. claimed it was busy inside. didnt seem apologetic
Quite a small venue, little loud when its full. Had the Tuna Poke bowl. It was very fresh and nicely presented
Just an excellent local bistro with unique high quality and tasty meals. My favourite spot for a sandwich salad or pizza,. My personal go-to is the Soprano sandwich it is superb. Everything is always fresh and reasonably quick to the table. A very comfortable cozy lounge with friendly accommodating staff. Vegetarian options: Menu includes a decent selection of vegetarian and some gluten free options.
We had the chicken Blackened Bowl and it was very tasty Our Server was so friendly and pleasant! Thank you for a wonderful first experience!
Best restaurant in Abbotsford. The Table Bistro is a perfect setting for almost any occasion, and their thoughtful menu has something on it for everybody. You really can t go wrong no matter what you get, in my experience. Service is top-notch as well. Don t pass up an opportunity to eat here, you ll be missing out.
We love The Table Bistro! My cousin and I each had a rose sangria and shared three appies. Delicious, as always, and the service was impeccable--thank you, Claire!
Relaxed, welcoming, and sophisticated bistro with spectacular appetizers and cocktails. Must try Rose Sangria and the Sweet Potato Hummus! Service was exceptional -Claire was friendly, witty, very knowledgeable and efficient. I look forward to returning each time I am in the area.
Such a great experience! So good i eat there 5 times a week
First time going to the bistro for brunch to celebrate friend s special milestone birthday. The restaurant is quaint in size but the food was delicious, especially the French toast with blackberry compote. The poached egg was made to perfection. The latte while artistic was luke warm. My guests enjoyed the breakfast smash burgers for brunch. However, despite phoning in advance to arrange and connecting with hostess on arrival, the waiter did not bring the dessert with the addition of the sparklers I had brought at end of meal as planned. Showed up with just plate of dessert. It took two attempts to resolve and no apology but rather I received a flippant comment that well we are busy . This was a special occasion that does not have a redo and I was appalled that no apology was given or a proper acknowledgment by waiter or manager of mistake for the error and for the lack of communication amongst team. I do not recommend this bistro for a special occasion. Very disappointed in service. On the third attempt finally the waiter brought out the dessert with the sparklers for my friends birthday - overall HORRIBLE experience.
Delighted to have discovered this gem! Stopped in for some cocktails and appetizers while visiting from out of province and had a truly memorable experience. The timeless jazz background music and elegant decor set the perfect tone. The service was prompt, gracious, and truly welcoming. Special thanks to Claire for her recommendations, intelligent banter, and warmth! The drinks were delicious and they offered a great variety of tasty -nearly addictive -appetizers in very generous portions. Highly recommend!
Wow! Claire was such an incredible server. Great recommendations and quick service.
Great drinks! Will be back for sure!
Great drinks and service!
Came here for brunch, and we had a fantastic time. Food was delicious and the services was amazing. We are definitely coming back!
The Table Bistros food seems like the finer stuff that you would expect to find in Vancouver. Excellent food, especially for Abbotsford, and the prices are appropriate. The duck tacos, and braised short rib, are delicious. The braised short rib is the best beef dish II have had in this town. Very tasty.
Great service and great food. Happy we found it
Had an absolute awesome experience! From being greeted by Jove with a hug warm welcome, to awesome communication and service from the server Mahaila all on top of great food for a good deal! First time here and will definitely be back!
All around 5 star for this resturant! I had the carbonara pasta, and my wife had the grilled chicken sandwich both were perfect!! Also we got the ceaser salad as a side and I wish I could be a fly on the wall while they were making it because I would have it every day. Staff were absolutely on point and professional. The Price is what you should expect when you get to enjoy food this good! Thank you.
We tried this place for the first time today for a work lunch and we were very disappointed. Sandwiches were a soggy mess lacked flavor and seasoning. The salmon was not fresh and very dry. Would not recommend this place.
Food is delicious. Familiar choices but always better than you expect. Service is always Dining room is an intimate size. Theyre going to run out of space soon. Parking: Park at the back (south) in the parking lot, the street may be full
The Table is an absolute gem of a dining experience! End to end from the first rate service to all the delicious offerings that are sourced locally it is a fantastic place to eat! Plating is beautiful, portions are perfect and the amazing staff make The Table a go to place to eat! Whether youre plant based or a meat eater theres a great dish for you!
This was the first time that we dined at this establishment. It was first rate in all aspects. Will definitely be back. Food
Food and service was awesome. Very impressed. Had the blackened terryaki chicken bowl. Also tried the hot honey pizza, sooo good! Food
Duck pizza , smash burger , braised short rib were all 5/5. Cocktails were great. Refreshing and rare find. Will definitely make the trip back here
Lovely restaurant! Excellent taste, presentation and service! We will come again:)
Food was great, service was awesome. Though the tables were very small and lacked privacy.
Ok so here I am almost 2 years later and we decided to try again. This time we were not disappointed . We were here for lunch and shared the green salad, the empanadas and the duck tacos. All were very good and flavourful. The salad was large and if you added protein would be a hearty meal. The service was friendly, and prompt even though she was new she did a great job. The food came quickly and was very fresh. We had a glass of wine each and the bill was just over $100. The manager spoke to us upon leaving , he was friendly and wanted to assure we had a nice experience. I would say the only negative was the smelly washroom but overall it was nice experience and I would return again! I am happy to say that they fixed all the issues that made it a 2 star in my previous review. I realize this place has only been open a month but they need to get customer service figured out. We were seated and man came over and said he was our server and bartender, then mumbled that we would be taken care of after a meeting of staff members, hence the the man went behind the bar and started making drinks with the other bar tender ! Several staff were wandering around looking confused. The floor manager and another man in a suit were just wandering around as well. 20 minutes later he came back and mumbled something again about getting organized and finally took our drink order. We decided to order our meals right away fearing another wait. My friend ordered a Caesar, with no tabasco as she didnt want spicy. He asked if she wanted the under the table caesar and she said no just a regular one. I had the blackberry cocktail. Her drink was so spicy (I tasted it and I enjoy spice and heat) we called the waited over and asked if there was a mistake . He said no , but offered to bring more clamato to add to it. You could see a distinct difference in colour, the drink was more orange than the clamato he brought. It did help bring down the spice. I ordered a spicy peanut noodle dish adding prawns and my friend the Caesar salad adding prawns. The drinks came fast and shortly after our food. The Caesar salad was very plain, no added Parmesan cheese or croutons, no toasted bread just a few red onions and some kind of crumble tossed on top. not at all what we expected in a nice bistro for $14. the added 4 prawns was an $8.50 up charge. The spicy noodles in peanut sauce was so over sauced it was like soup, no real dept of flavour just peanut. a few crunchy bits and green onions on top, and again thankfully I ordered the added prawns. The only thing spicy about it was the side of chili oil. At the close of the meal we asked again about the level of spice in her drink and he insisted it wasnt spicy and asked if it was the rim coating she was tasting or the green bean. We told him no she was using the straw, and then he said that maybe they were shipped a spicy clamato by mistake. WOW. still charged her for the drink, which it would have been nice if they comped it considering the spice level. not sure why this place has 5 star ratings...
This is my go-to spot in Abbotsford for meeting up with a friend or eating with my family for quality fare and impeccable service. The food is so delicious, well-prepared and feels good in our bodies. The service is consistently friendly, professional and kind. Today, were blown away by the generousity and care for the community that the owner, Jove embodies. My husband was telling him that we were in the hospital for the week with a sick baby, and he gifted us our take-out order. We were so touched, and feel even more inclined to continue to dine out here as often as were able for many years to come <3 PS Thank you for all the vegan and vegetarian options.
I have been here a few times now and its truly become my favourite restaurant in Abbotsford. The food is so fresh and delicious. I love that the ingredients for everything is made in house. The service is wonderful and welcoming. I would recommend making reservations, but I promise its absolutely worth going to and checking out.
Nice space, tasty brunch, excellent customer service, and 5+/5 focaccia <3 thanks
After dining here multiple times for work and loving the experience, I thought it would be the perfect place to take my wife for our 19th anniversary. My wife was excited as she had just been recommended to dine here by friend. We were seated promptly but then waited a long time for our server, Matt. This was definitely a theme for the evening. The food was ok. The spinach and artichoke did was pretty average. Just a basic warmed up dip with chips. My wife s hot butter s rum was quite good and the beers on tap were good as well. The cocktails have always been quite good and would recommend. My wife s peanut bowl was really good. I was excited for the duck confit but it was really dry. The salad was underdressed but was fine. The sauce for the duck wasn t warmed up enough so it was quite congealed. The big kicker of the whole even was the poor service. It felt as though the server was more interested in turning down the restaurant than serve us (we arrived 2 hours before closing, not like 30 mins before close). The server passed our table no less than 8 times during dinner with completely empty glasses. The other waitress was more attentive than he was. I completely finished my meal before the server even checked on us. The other waitress actually cleared our table of the dinner plates. We were going to splurge on dessert and more drinks but we cut our night short and headed out of there. There was a scotch I wanted to try but I guess next time. It s disappointing as I ve had such great experience before. As my wife s first impression of the Table Bistro, it will be some time before she wants to go back.
First time at The Table Bistro was a great experience right from the moment we first walked in and was warmly greeted by the host. We were taken care of and enjoyed the delicious food. The 2-5pm happy hour appies were a great deal with a surprising highlight being the Foccacia with balsamic and oil incredible!!
We took a chance on The Table Bistro and were we impressed! They do so much of the prep of sauces and breads right there in house. And they do a great job. The food is excellent. To Jove and the staff great job and thank you. Service is super friendly and engaging. Check out the sticky toffee pudding.
Had a wonderful experience, we had some happy hour items but the duck tacos are a must have. The service was spectacular. Would strongly suggest!
Friends of mine booked reservations here and since then I have been 4 times. The food is absolutely delicious and service has been attentive and great. The only hiccup was with my last outing where my friend booked a reservation and we werent seated for some time after. However, we were compted an appetizer. The location is quite small so I can see how room and timing can be affected. Ill continue to come and try menu items. So far the brasised beef, the tomatoe soup and focaccia bread, spicy peanut bowl and all the cocktails have been so good!
Great Place in Abby
Excellent! My husband and I went for dinner to celebrate our anniversary! The service was wonderful and the food was amazing! We cant wait to go back for another meal.
Artichoke dip to die for.
First time.......was really impressed.
I have been here twice in one week. First of all, the service is outstanding. The first night they came and described the meals to us, techniques used - made it more of an experience than just getting a meal. Second night, outstanding service, the meals took a bit long. We didnt complain yet they came to apologize and offer us a dessert on the house. The food both times is better than most places Ive been, you can tell its made with love, passion, and expertise. I highly recommend coming here!
Ive never been disappointed at the Table Bistro! Vegetarian options: Nice veggie burger, but my favorite is fettuccine Alfredo! Food : 5/5 |
Hands down 5 star everything top to bottom ,Great job. BEST smash burger in Abbottotsford and possibly B.C Canada!! Add bacon avocado ,,, MY side was the best Ceasar Salad in my life!!!!!!! SERVICE fantastic!! Just unreal , my new favorite place!!
This place is the perfect lil spot for a brunch or date night. Cozy atmosphere, perfectly large size portions, amazing food. I held my birthday brunch here and all our meals were amazing. Even my girlfriends bowl that was vegan! Super reasonable priced also. The owner was so kind and knowledgeable . Highly recommend! Cant wait to go back. Thank you again! Dietary restrictions: Even great Vegetarian/vegan options, which is super great too
A cozy restaurant in the Fraser Valley, The Table Bistro is a great spot for fresh, handmade food all day. It s situated on the ground floor of a high rise that houses both commercial and residential spaces, sharing a washroom with the bistro. The food itself was very tasty! You could tell that it was all made in house. The staff were helpful and entirely hospitable - and honest! Try the brunch until 2pm on weekends and holidays! The eggs Benny on foccacia was one of the best. Reservations are recommended. I will be returning for sure.
A very lovely place, with good service and nice atmosphere. Abbotsford needs more places like this. Love going here with friends and family. Vegetarian options: Vegan/vegetarian options available. Parking: The parking is in a separate lot, beside the building. Parked there for free twice, without issue.
Service on point ! I can say the food was good, however not wow . The atmosphere was pretty
I recently enjoyed dinner at Table Bistro and had a delightful experience with their new server, Jessie. We all learned a lot that night!! The service was excellent; Jessie was attentive, friendly, and made the dining experience enjoyable. Additionally, the food runner, Adiah was a charming addition to the evening! The lovely combination of outstanding service and delicious food makes this place a must-visit. I look forward to returning soon!!!
The service and atmosphere was nice, but the food was very underwhelming. The smash burger tasted like an over salted Big Mac, and the potato pace was greasy and salty. The artichoke dip was very good. The carbonara was dry and the noodles were undercooked. The bread it came with was tasty. Overpriced for what it was. I live in Abbotsford and won t be going back.
My wife s and my favourite spot in the Fraser Valley, hands down. Everything is exceptional going here has become special for us.
We just went for drinks, service was awesome, friendly staff
My favourite restaurant in Abbotsford! We had Valentine s Day dinner reservations at Barons Bistro but when we got there, the restaurant was closed. You would think they would contact you to let you know. It was super disappointing! We found The Table as we quickly googled restaurants in Abbotsford. By that time it was 7pm. We are starving so we start heading there thinking we may be out of luck since we don t have reservations on Valentine s Day! We took a chance and we are so happy we did! This is now our go to restaurant anytime we are in town! Upon arriving, there was a huge crowd waiting to be seated. (they all had reservations) we thought for sure we re not getting in. We walked in and was greeted so kindly by Alicia at the front. We explained our situation to her and she was so eager to help us! She quickly said let me do my best I ll go get my manager. Then comes Jove, the manager. He was simply just amazing! He directed us to have a seat while they try to fit us in. Even with a fully booked evening, Jove and his team did their best to accommodate us. We got lucky as someone else didn t show up to their reservations. 20 minutes later we were seated and our what could ve been a terrible evening turned out to be one for the books. Jenn was our lovely waitress for the evening. She was truly the sweetest! She introduced the menu to us with such knowledge and grace. What a beautiful restaurant with such great service and food! Everything was just perfect. This was our first Valentines Day together after 14 years apart.. so this one will forever be a special one. Thank you so much for helping us create this memory Jove, Jenn and Alicia. Thank you to the Chef for an amazing dinner. Thank you for having us, we ll definitely see you all soon.
Definitely a place to revisit. Everything was perfect The teriyaki blackened chicken is one of the best I have ever had. Food : 5/5
Very nice establishment. My wife and I were here for Valentines Day dinner and we couldnt come up with anything that we didnt like. We shared the empanadas and then I had the duck special and she had a pizza we also shared the peach cobbler. Food is great and it looks amazing too. The service was great 3 or 4 people came to the table to check on us refill drinks and ask how everything was. They did a great job.
I ve been here twice for lunch but that was when they had opened and kinda forgot about them. Went there for dinner and the Service was perfect from the moment we walked in until we left plus the food for exceptional! Can t think of another Resturant including Vancouver where the whole experience was perfect!! Definitely my go to Resturant from now on
I asked my husband to pick up food for me because I m a see you and he had shared it as well. I was in the hospital and they gave my husband my dinner complementary. I can t wait to come and sit into this restaurant the kindness that they shared, lifted my spirits so much thank you again, the table bistro
Service and ambience were great our server was friendly and humorous, and the place looked lovely and well-decorated. My only problem was the food. While the pan-seared chickens presentation looked great and the consistency and texture were good, there definitely lacked flavour. I dont think there was any spice or salt added to this dish. It was disappointing, given that I had to pay $33+ for it. Anyways, I still give 4 stars for everything else.
Tried this for the first time yesterday and it didnt disappoint. Great service, comfortable atmosphere, tasty food with both approachable and upper scale options.
The best food Ive tasted in a long time!!
Menu items are always interesting and delicious. The service was helpful and friendly. I have never been disappointed and would recommend this spot for either a casual coffee date, or a memorable dinner date.
They totally deserve 4.7 stars and for sure worked hard to get it. Highly recommended and the go to place any time I come to Abbotsford.
I ate dinner here , and quite honestly it was excellent food and amazing service , Highly recommend this place and you will not be sorry ! Fantastic Little gem in Abbotsford. Parking: Easy to park and lots of it !
I went with a friend and had a lovely evening. Jove and Zach, well done in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The whole experience from ambiance, food and service was fantastic. The food was well presented and delish with freshly prepared ingredients. Parking: Parking was easy to find and well lit.
Love this place! Nice option for a town without very many other nice options. Very affordable for a semi-fancy/fancy atmosphere. Would highly recommend for date night, friends out, etc. The cocktail menu is top-notch. Very awesome staff. Small-ish, so definitely recommend a reservation for when you think its going to be busy. Enjoy!
Pizza is great, Ceasar Salad w/ Blacked Shimp very good. Sat at the same table both times Ive been, right near the entrance. I dont really know what it looks or feels like further in, I hope it has a warmer environment because I dont care for a view of the apartment lobby.
First time here today. The food was amazing! And the server was so friendly and pleasant too. Would highly recommend
Felt like we ate out in downtown Vancouver for an evening without all the hassle. Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, great service, and drinks that are worth returning for. Tables are pretty tightly packed, but this did not stop our group of 4 from having a fantastic visit and meal together. Quaint atmosphere and unique menu: a hidden gem in the city of Abbotsford. Sweet potato hummus was an appy unlike anything else Ive had. Leftovers the next day were just as amazing. Too many restaurants fail at making a decent pizza: not the case at The Table Bistro. The pizza was perfectly executed. Prices are a bit higher than most restaurants in the area, but our group was willing to trade a few extra dollars for a setting and menu that are hard to find anywhere else. We look forward to returning
Very small, squished and selected seating. Food was worse than low level pub food. My borscht came out cold and honestly, if youre looking for a good juicy burger, go ANYWHERE else. We paid $103 for an appy, 2 beers, the tuna poke bowl and a smashburger. We were the ONLY ones in there but the manager and server were rushing us out as there was a reservation coming in an hour lol. We will never ever waste our money there again and we only live across the street.... awful....
love the table bistro! amazing cocktails and food. excellent service every time we dine here.
We are obsessed with this place. We ve only gone a couple times but each time has been a great experience! It s so cute, the food is incredible, they have so many unique cocktails (We are working our way through the menu and they have all been amazing), and the service is always great! All the staff are so lovely and very on-top of things! Big shout out to Tyra for bartending and serving us tonight she made our experience 11/10!
The best place to eat out in Abbotsford without a doubt. Cocktail menu is like no other in the city. Parking: Either on attached parking or on Gladwin Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available Wheelchair accessibility: No steps in the restaurant
This is a very nice restaurant, the food was excellent and good service, the only negative is it is small and loud. It was difficult to have a conversation and hear each other. This would be a great place to order take out.
While my short rib was amazing, my husbands peanut bowl was sticky and dry with the noodles, maybe better with rice? Our friends pizza was cold. A little noisy but all restaurants have become more noisy! Vegetarian options: They have vegan foam for the cocktails!
I have been to the Table Bistro half a dozen times. The service is always fantastic, the food is always fresh and flavourful. Decent Size of Menu. Regularly updating drink specials. Catering to food allergies. Will cater to drink preferences. Hummus and chips is always delicious, and big enough as an appetizers for three people. Cons -Tables are too close together -Can be a bit noisier because of table proximity. Overall, one of the better places to eat in Abbotsford. Dietary restrictions: They will cater to dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. Parking: Large parking lot, I ve never struggled to find close parking.
Amazing food, cocktails and service! Wish I lived closer!!! If you live in Abbotsford you need to eat here. If you re visiting Abbotsford you need to make this one of your destinations
I walked into The Table Bistro, the ambiance immediately struck a chord with me, offering a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The setting was both chic and welcoming, creating an ideal backdrop for a memorable dining experience. The menu was a delightful exploration of flavors. I was particularly impressed with the Peach Smash cocktail, a masterful concoction that balanced sweetness and zest, setting a high standard for the rest of the meal. The short ribs were the highlight of the evening - tender, flavorful, and perfectly complemented by creamy mashed potatoes and a rich gravy. It was clear that each dish was crafted with care and expertise. The service at The Table Bistro was exceptional. Our server, Zach, provided an impeccable balance of professionalism and personal touch. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had a great dining experience. Its rare to encounter such a harmonious blend of attentiveness and warmth in service. Overall, dining at The Table Bistro was more than just a meal; it was a culinary adventure. The combination of thoughtfully crafted drinks, sumptuous food, and a warm, inviting atmosphere made for an unforgettable experience. This bistro is a true gem in Abbotsford, perfect for any occasion, whether its a special celebration or a casual night out. Im already looking forward to my next visit and would highly recommend The Table Bistro to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience. The care, quality, and attention to detail evident in every aspect of the bistro truly deserve a five-star rating.
The food is sooooo good!!! We have ate there several times and we have never been disappointed. We have had all types of their pizza and it is delicious!!
Our server was fabulous, as was the bartender (who is a certified scotch somelier). Tried a drink he created for his own palate, the Old World, and it was fantastic. I dont often drink cocktails, but Id have this again. My girlfriend tried something new for the season, Snowed In, also a hit. Thanks for a nice evening out.
A wonderful, intimate restaurant. The staff were exceedingly helpful and kind, service was excellent, and the amazing mixologist Brandon blew us away with his astounding cocktails and knowledge. I cant wait to see what new cocktails theyll have throughout the seasons!
I am French and food is important to us I had the salmon it was excellent. Tje welcome was also very good you can go and eat there with your eyes closed
The brunch empanadas were ok. Dough was a little tough and the filling was a little dry. The dips were good along side it. Always a fan of the spicey peanut bowl and the short rib.
Fantastic experience. I don t know why it took us so long to get to this restaurant. We are a family of foodies so it s pretty rare that our entire group would walk out overwhelmingly satisfied by our meal, cocktails, server, bartender and ambiance. If you haven t tried it yet- you need to. SO GOOD.
