Favourite food place in abby

I had ordered here before but this time the portion feels like am paying $16 for rice only, although I paid for extra meat and sauces but looks like no attention is paid. Stale chicken and tasteless hummus is really strange. Really disappointed with this service, never gonna order again.

This is the last time I come to donair affair. I saw the lady behind the counter cutting the meat to be served with no gloves and using a tissue and her bare hands to grab whatever meat fell off. So on hygienic, so unsanitary. Beware! Best part, when I confronted her, she said she didnt touch the meat till I explained what I saw and then she says sorry but proceeds to put the same meat aside in the tray to be served. So disgusting!

Beware they charge more than what is advertised on their menu on their wall inside as well as their paper menu. Most people likely just pay and dont realize they dont honor their displayed prices which is false advertising. I will not support them again.

Just dont do it, worst Pakistan trick ever. I hope they go out of business so a real shwarma shop can open. They dont even warm it up, even if it was half price I wouldnt go here.

I love this place, my boyfriend and I eat here all the time. The staff are always so lovely and are one of the reasons we keep coming back (besides the delicious food and even more delicious garlic sauce).

Great donairs, the super beef with everything is my favorite. Located off Hillcrest by Staples now. Lately been hooked on the rice with beef, lots of meat on rice with lots of fresh vegetables and great sauces. Great flavours, large portions. Highly recommended. Food : 5/5

This is the best donair place Ive ever been to. The staff are so friendly and always have me leaving with a smile. Their Mayan bowl is amazing and such good value. It is my go to every time from now on. Always bring cash, too. Its the best thing you can do for any small buisness.

We go to this Donair Affair at least a couple times a month. Normally we would rate them a 5 star but today there was someone working we havent seen before. It is not that she wasnt nice but the way she wrapped the donair, it was falling apart and it wasnt very full. We also ordered a protein bowl it was also about half full. Anyways this is not to say we wont come back but we werent entirely impressed with our food today.

Parking: Family of 4 had 4 chicken platter , 2 ginger ale plus 2 chicken wrap to go, paid $84 + tip. Happy and so fully satisfied with our meal and service. Husband said it was 10/11stars*********** Service

Was my absolute favourite place with old workers there. First time back and different people working asked for a super and basically got tiny than a regular wrap. There was hair in my Greek salad and got charged $8 for the tiniest Greek salad ever. First time I actually went in I got cut off by a different person as the employee watched him and continued to ignore me so I left. Came back and got my order which was very tiny for pay extra for a SUPER wrap. Very disappointed!

Stopped at the Donair Affair at this location today for a bite to eat while we were waiting for something at Staples. My husband had never tried a donair wrap. The staff were friendly, helpful and the donair was delicious! The restaurant is clean and the food reasonably priced. We will be back.

Manpreet is so sweet and easy to work with. Never any problems ordering, and she makes it with a beautiful smile on her face. My boyfriend and I love coming to this location for its friendly staff and always fresh food. Manpreet gives me such great service it always makes me happy to come back again.

Tasted alright but I was only able to eat 3 bites before my donair was completely inside out and made a huge mess because they didn t even roll it up it s like they put it on an open tortilla then threw it in my bag, would ve loved to eat my donair but now I m eating a salad with tortilla chunks

Team was great however upon walking home by Bowls fell open absolutely covering me in sauce and ruining my work bag :( this was a recovery order and now Im crying. While although great service this has deterred me from coming back. I now have a chipped tooth and now a ruined bag. Its very overwhelming.

I come in here every week as a college student. Price is great, food is always good and big portions. Staff knows my order and is very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place!

I had a bad experience the quality was low, the food make my stomach upset

The fillings and sauces were great. The pita was very thin and in an odd pocket shape. By the time I was ready to eat my take-out order, the pita was very soggy and breaking apart. Baklava was pretty average

I ve eaten a lot of donair and shawarma and this place is at the bottom of the barrel. I asked for 50/50 chicken and beef and unlike most places the lady took that as meaning extra meat. I paid for it hoping it would still be good, but the Meat is luke warm and the sauce is freezing cold. Not to mention the sauce has no taste and the hot sauce isn t hot. Unfortunately I would have a hard time feeding this to my dog.

Staff are nice. The only reason for the 3 stars is that the place isnt really halal. When you hear Donair you immediately think its halal. Only to find out their chicken isnt halal but some other meats are halal. Cross contamination takes place and therefore the food is mixed with non halal meats. Please do something and resolve this. Such a shame.

This thing they made me and sent by Skip is a mess! They don t even realize that I have to try and eat this thing? These domains are not complicated! Poor preparation and no pride in what they sell!

My first visit it was a while back, I ordered fulaful, I was surprised to see my food came out of the refrigerator and straight to the microwave, I had 2 bites and I thought the rest. I decided never go back. My daughter she insisted to take her there, I wasnt surprised that she picked the chicken from the pot, it didnt taste fresh, and bad customers service as well.

They are very good at Mediterranean dishes which is fresh, well prepared and large portions (compared). Recommend them for quick lunch and families- food is easy to eat, and well packaged.

I frequently come to this location of donair affair in Abbotsford. This is definitely my favourite place to eat! The food is always delicious, and it s made incredibly fast! It is priced right too! I can completely fill my belly for about $13. The donairs are spot on every time. The staff are also always very friendly and happy to serve you. And the restaurant is always very clean.

Worst place to visit lady with tattoo on her hand she is rude to me. Even she put CHEESE which fell on her table .I just I ask why you put that in my plate even that not belong to my plate. And I refuse to buy that and walk out.and she abuse me from back me and my son .we go back, and she yelled at us and gave excuses. I want a manager please contact me I can explain situation what she said to me. .Worst service ever seen

I recently dined at Donair Affair and found the atmosphere to be overly heated, making the dining experience uncomfortable. Additionally, there was a noticeable bad smell that lingered, further impacting the overall enjoyment. While the food was decent, these issues significantly affected my visit. I hope the restaurant can address these concerns to provide a more pleasant environment for their customers.

We go here every few months. Lately I have seen the food quality decline. Today my chicken donair was so sloppy with sauce it caused the pita to dissolve to mush. I will not be going here again. SO sad to see another restaurant decline like this. The hummus is so watery thin with no flavor. $10+ down the drain because I wanted a donair not soup wrapped in a pita

Food was really good and the lady working there was very friendly and SUPER fast. I placed my order and she had it ready in under 3 minutes. I was probably in the restaurant for all of 5 minutes. It was a pretty good price too. Parking: Tons of parking in the parking lot. I have never seen it full.

Poor customer service

Ive been to donair affair many times, just diffrent location. We came in for lunch today my mother and I, she got a super lamb and beef that we shared, was actually quite large was really good. Friendly staff communication was good! Make sure they dont over do it with the sauses or its soggy and really messy, they also have veggie and chicken wraps, Falafel and rice plates. The baklava pastries are amazing for dessert.

Had a beef donair. I like it with only lettuce and onions. So huge and filling I couldnt eat it all. Damn good! They are right beside the new cannabis store

This place always has friendly staff who provide you with the food you order in a reasonable time with a choice of salad and sauces. It can be a little hit and miss with the meat/rice ratio for the platters and the bread isn t worth getting but it s quick and cheap and tasty!

Terrible. I had the falafel plate and it wasnt worth the price.

I d give it two stars if I could actually taste anything other than sauce. Their garlic sauce is so disgusting it should be illegal (and it doesn t even taste like garlic). Meat was cold they don t offer tabouleh on their Lebanese just old dry parsley. Just eat something else. Anything else. I d add a photo and I ll eat just about anything but this was inedible. It would just be a picture of my trash can.

I always go to the other donair affair in abbotsford but I went to this one this evening instead and the customer service was excellent, the lady at the till was very friendly and welcoming, and my order was made perfectly! Overall I was very happy and will definitely come back.

The food tasted like it was premade and reheated. everything in my meal (beef felaffel veggie salad and hummus). the veggie salad tasted like the vegetables were not washed and the dressing had little to no flavor. The felaffel was dry and tasted reheated. The beef was soggy and had no flavor. The hot sauce tasted like pasta sauce with literally no spice. The only redeeming quality was the rice. It wasnt disgusting. Wont be going back. Only giving a 2 star because the portion size was good

Order arrived cold, Greek salad had no sauce and about 1/8th of a teaspoon of feta. The Falafel was one of the dryest things I have ever eaten and the hummus didnt taste like hummus... The rice was okay, nothing special and the portions are decent.

Honestly this is the most authentic and affordable donair shop in Abbotsford. The staff are awesome and great at their job, and the food is delicious and consistent. The restaurant is basic but clean. More of a to-go place, but they do have a few tables if you want to eat there. Dietary restrictions: You get to pick your toppings for the donair. Parking: Yup, free parking right out front. Kid-friendliness: Kids like donairs too, obviously. Wheelchair accessibility: Disability parking spots available as per requirements, and flat concrete sidewalks to maneuver a wheelchair if required.

$20 for my meal (with double meat) and the drink. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very friendly and courteous. While I dined inside I noticed that every guest was greeted immediately by either Kamal, or her co-worker. The food was delicious and the serving size was very generous. My only complaint would be that half pita portion be larger and a suggestion would be to heat them up at the time of service rather than keeping them pre warmed. I find when kept pre warmed they tend to dry out faster and go firm, crispy. I would definitely return for more and recommend this to anyone in the area whos hungry! You will leave full and satisfied!
