Got put on an open hold for what was supposed to be 2 minutes, then forgotten about. Tried to call back but the phone was left off the connector, sending me to voicemail for every other attempt to call in. Would ve been my first time ordering here.

Great place to meet my family and have a coffee and bite to eat

The place is a bit like an old days dinner. What it lacks in appearance makes it up in service and in the food they make. I will be visiting again. Its worth it.

Over $70 for couple of bad breakfasts and a discusting frozen mushy pre chewed burger patty was like trying to eat a tasteless wet sponge , put some effort into your menu items and serve what we ordered not some trashy no name patty full of fillers if your going to charge $20 + for them . And talk about an uncomfortable situation with the male waiter who had to have his face about a foot away from us while taking our order . He needs to learn personal space is important to most people , especially now days .

Spending time in the Netherlands many years ago, I became very please with mayonaise for french fries everywhere even McDonalds.As I prefer this to ketchup it is an easy substitute.However I am sometimes charged for a side order mayo and sometimes not.Please understand that I only deduct this extra charge if posted from the gratuity. I hope we can fix this in future. Dietary restrictions: Always provide mayo with my fries,do indeed substitute this always for ketchup or HP,free of extra charges. Good personal customer service.

Turn back the clock to a time when you had a full menu to appease all your tastebuds. Breakfast menu sadly had way too many choices (said no one ever) so I would recommend it not to be messed with. Check it out before paradise develops into a parking lot

Crossroads is a local iconic casual eatery. It has been operating at the same site since I can remember, at least 35 plus years. That says something for sure, these are extremely tough times for restaurants, yet Crossroads continues to be a popular spot. Its not fine dining or a trendy hipster hangout, it is decent food at a reasonable price with better that average service. The staff are relaxed and friendly, Paul the owner is always happy to talk and make you feel welcome. Good job Crossroads, some things do not need to change!

Rarely ever have I thought of food days after eating, but here I am, day dreaming about the waffles here. Don t let the unassuming exterior fool you, this is a perfect little gem! 10/10 to our server as well, she was friendly, cheery, and real . Officially my new fave breakfast place!

A regular family pitstop. Food was hot and fast. Service was polite and welcoming. Price was great basic bacon and eggs 13.99. coffee 3.50. you cant beat it. Clean restaurant decor is booths old timey.

Very disappointing experience. The lady who seated us did not say a word. When we asked for coffee and an orange juice she didnt acknowledge it and just walked away. She brought the coffee and another waiter brought the juice. We asked for honey and a straw. She just walked away. Brought the honey, no straw. The waiter brought a straw. We finally were able to order. An eggs Benedict and the Italian sausage breakfast. We were talked over while ordering. The food came. It was the very low end of mediocre bordering on bad. The Italian sausage was terribly overcooked and both our hashbrowns were tasteless. The toast was so dry it was like it had been toasted in advance and left under warming lamps. Coffee never got refilled so we basically each had like a 6oz coffee for almost 4 bucks. Total bill was $50. Within minutes of finishing my fiancé started experiencing horrific stomach cramps and is now sick with brutal stomach pains. I would have complained about the food but honestly I felt like wed have gotten yelled at and with my fiancé already in pain I didnt want to wasted anymore time in there. It used to be an ok place but this experience was one of the worst Ive ever had anywhere.

Delicious and large variety of dishes and gigantic portions. Definitely a place to take the family and friends, would for sure come again!!

Was busy enough to know the food was going to worth the wait but fast enough to be seated so that the kids didn t get to antsy. After seated the server was greeting us with a smile and didn t even have to write down our orders. Food was ready fairly quick and drinks were kept full and extra napkins delivered before asked for. Would definitely return and recommend.

Decent diner! I just had breakfast and the fried hashbrowns were delicious. The seafood Benedict was also good, eggs were cooked perfectly. Only complaint is that the English muffin wasn t toasted! Made it all soggy with the hollandaise sauce. My partner wasn t a fan of his potato bacon soup. (Lack of flavour) but his salad was good! I will give this place another go!

Service was great. We had breakfast and it was pretty good, but a little too greasy & the sausage were odd. Steamed maybe? Good coffee & the price was good. Will go again when were back in town.

Service deff needs attention ppl whom work there are either pre occupied with non essential stuff or knoding off while your talking to them adding stuff u never ordered and applying there own tip then trying to doop you into paying Tip again when it is your choice in the first place...I miss the way it use to be 10yrs ago.

My husband and I hadnt been at Crossroads for over a year mostly due to Covid. The service, food, and atmosphere hadnt changed. We always had five star food, service, and a friendly atmosphere.

Went for breakfast, family of four. Initially greeted very gruffly before being seated. Server was much friendlier by comparison. French toast was decent enough for the kids, however, the eggs Benedict was sub par and their hash browns (shredded) were totally bland and barely cooked, practically inedible. Overheard another table ordering, and they were given the option of cubed vs shredded - we were not. No desire to return whatsoever.

Woke up this morning and felt like having a waffle. I looked up on the trusty internet to find waffles in Abbotsford and low and behold Crossroads was suggested. Having never been we thought we d give it a try. My waffle was quite good. My wife enjoyed her veggie omelette. The prices for the food was quite reasonable. Coffee & Tea vastly overpriced. Our waitress was excellent. We will return

Went to Crossroads after I googled name and found their website. The menu seemed affordable. Once we got the in restaurant menus they were at least $3 more per item than shown on the website. While the food was okay, it was too pricey for a family to eat at. Kids meals were $6 more than the place we regularly go to. The burger came on a plain bun. The atmosphere is dated. The server seemed unhappy. We wont return.

This amazing restaurant deserves more then 5 stars. Truly the food is like home style finger licking good! Located in a very convenient location beside the transcanada highway!!! We so enjoyed the dinner the night of Feb. 14. Love this place.

I have never been treated so rudely by an employee as I was at this restaurant. It was as if my friend and I were inconveniencing the woman. Once our server came she really turned things around and was such a sweetheart. Clean bathrooms. Best onion rings ever!!!

It was my first visit to the restaurant and its a nice small restaurant that is a little roomier than youd think. The staff are very friendly and on top of things. I had eggs Benny that were okay but the hollandaise sauce tasted different and unusually not that flavorful. Might have to try the Farmers sausage breakfast another time.

Im not one to write poor reviews. But my experience this morning was horrific. It all started when our seating waitress sat us at a sopping wet table laden with crumbs from a poor wipe job. No big deal, I unwrapped my silverware and mopped it up with my napkin. We order drinks. Same lady comes back with her sopping wet blue neoprene gloves, my glass is covered in glove juice and milk. I again dry it up with my napkin. All the while I have been watching her with the same gloves pick up used glass ware and plates from the table over. So as I go to take a sip of my CHOCOLATE MILK I am met with an odd smell. I think perhaps its just the dish rag residue from the dirty gloves. It is then after taking a big gulp I realize, THEY SERVED ME SOUR MILK. We left, I lost my stomach outside in the entry planter. Rotten milk...... Shame on you Crossroads!

The first woman who got our drinks didnt seem to really want to talk to people, and told us changing the ice tea and walked away. When she came near the table again, we asked if we needed to change our drink order and she seemed annoyed we wanted clarification on what that meant. Our actual waitress then came who was really nice and friendly. The food took a really long time to come out, and the food was ok, 2 of our party liked the shredded hashbrowns, and my little brother liked his hot chicken wings. Another in our party didnt like the hashbrowns at all and said they tasted fishy.

Bad food & never order again

I can t for the life of me remember my servers name but literally this guys was the best server I ve ever seen. Working a whole restaurant by himself and just banging out awesome food like it was nothing. Parking: Had lots of parking and was also easy to get to off the freeway

The place was open which was nice. However the food can sometimes be undercooked and the staff I have experienced can be forgetful but still a good place to go if you want breakfast before a trip on the freeway.

Crossroads is a nice little diner! Staff is great, service is quick and food is delicious. I highly recommend this spot for weekend brunch or next family meal. My fiancé is celiac and was able to eat here as well (she got the Denver omelette with GF toast and shredded hashbrowns - the best shredded hashbrowns) I was extremely hungry and got the hungry man breakfast, safe to say I left a full man. We had a poor experience over a year ago but thought we d give it another try this morning. (Grumpy and rude service) Crossroads staff + lack of service this morning was worse and feel like the cold side of purgatory. (I imagine) Trust me, we came with smiles and willing hearts to be kind. I was especially patient with my kids as witnesses. Disappointed and sincerely confused.

Slow service but somewhat to be expected during these times. The breakfast was certainly sub par for a diner. Very low quality food and weak coffee. Interior not only ourdated but also quite messy.

This is cleanest restaurant Ive been in for a long time. Even the bathroom was.spotless. I had the classic breakfast. Very generous portion of bacon. I didnt care for the hash rows though. Next time Ill ask for a substitute. I will go back.

So Im staying at the travel lodge right beside the restaurant. The one side of the hotel is a quarantine for people who are covid +. We receive a breakfast lunch h and dinner from the restaurant. Worst food Ive ever eaten in my life. It tastes like they keep the rest of thr stuff of of peoples plates and reuse it. The eggs for the bennidict are frozen egg pucks, the hollandaise is from a pouch. I cant wait to show you what the hash browns look like. Filthy discusting kitchen. Im a red seal chef, ......never seen a kitchen that gross in my 20 years of cooking. You guys should really make a TV show on food network like, kitchen disasters or something. Atmosphere I am giving a 5 stars because it gets delivered to my room, I wouldnt ever want to sit in that cesspool. Ill add more pics as the days go by . Isnt my cat cute?
