Messed up my breakfast order again. Not sure how they mess up breakfast sandwiches... Food

Should have went to the other location. Every table is sticky and the food is poor. This is our standards today I guess.

Got a couple burgers. They were stale and tasted musty and old. Now I m disgusted cause there was literally mold on one of them. Service was fine, but such a dirty, unhygienic location.

Terrible food! They have changed their chicken patties. They use to have the best chicken burger but they have changed the patties. It is now compressed rubber feel with a terrible after taste. Same expensive price too. Next time I will be going to McDonalds, at least its a bit less expensive for a compressed chicken burger.

The staff was very nice. The food was oddly cold and the strawberry shakes were watery. But the onion rings were perfect.

2 combos ordered, plus onion rings, $40, and the fries were stone cold. It was a take out order so had to go back in to complain, all the while my burgers were getting cold in the car. Not good. Food

It was my second visit.. both last time and this time, the table was dirty and even the area where I had to sit had food or sauce grease on it, making it uncomfortable.

Found it really distasteful having to listen to the woman working at the front counter talking so poorly about the homeless while taking my order last night. Also this location continually forgets sauces so learn to enjoy your fries without your dip

This was my first time at this location and I was pleasantly surprised by the great service. Never had this experience at a fast food joint. Sierra (or was it Sarah?) was amazing. So friendly and attentive at every step of my visit.

My son and I ordered the All Canadian breakfast so that I could have a hot meal on this day of -14 degrees celsius and I received a cold breakfast. The toast was cold, the bacon was cold, the sausage was cold, the hash brown was stuff from being cold. The only item that was hot was the eggs, because I ordered custom eggs.

Literally in the drive through rn. It s been 30 minutes and nothing has happened. This should have been a McDonald s.

Its so hot we didnt enjoy the atmosphere. The heat is on at 30 degrees or so it feels like it! The buns on our becon and egger where old. Plus our food in general was not warm. Management needs to be involved with quality here it apparent.

If you want to see how a mismanaged, understaffed fast food joint operates, come check out this location. I swear the employees are trained to ignore customers as much as possible. Food tastes good, yet took 3 trips back to the counter to get what i ordered.

Ordered a lettuce wrap teen burger and when I was just about to have the last bite I found a used band-aid inside. I showed the staff. They admitted it was disgusting. Blamed the girl in the back making food. I had to leave. I was so sick to my stomach. I would like to have a meeting with the owner about this. NOT COOL

Tables are always sticky and filled with crumbs . The heat is absolutely way to high in this place you cannot sit inside without baking.......turn your heat down and hire someone who can clean up properly. A month later and still same bloody results dirty tables everywhere and the heat is unbearable.....turn your heat to a reasonable temperature.

Really disappointing experience. Employee working the drive thru window tonight was extremely rude. Lots of attitude and wouldnt even acknowledge us when interacting at the window...made the entire experience very uncomfortable.

Ordered a teen a burger, got on the highway way and it s a beyond burger! I call them right away and the manager tells me it s impossible, that the two products are placed in separate places. Then tells me to bring it back so she can feel the texture to make sure which burger it is!!! Wouldn t even offer a replacement or accept the fact they gave the wrong burger.

A&W Canada. Why mail out coupons for 2 combos for $16.99 and not allow mix and match for identical priced items? Current promotions for chubby chicken combos, 2 for $16.99 and also 2 teen burger combos for $16.99. Why in the world you do not allow a customer to order 1 chicken and one beef combo is illogical.

What s up with the frozen root beer? Tastes like slightly sweet ice with noooo flavour! Better to get a root beer slushie at the gas station for half the price. Save yourself. Sorry a & w not this time.

This location has an issue with cleanliness.

We regularly come to this location for breakfast and the service, food, and overall cleanliness has declined over the last while. The bathrooms are gross, the booths are ripped, the tables are sticky.

Two thumbs up ! Much better than McDonald s! They let you use your coupon a few times also .

Cold burgers and burnt ...

Ordered 2 double burgers, fries and asked for a fork. Got 2 completely different single burgers and no fork. Even reminded the guy at the window about the fork and still mostly incorrect. It wasn t even busy.

We came in specifically for a managers special advertised on their large video sign outside. The server said the special is no longer valid...even though it is still on the sign. He wouldnt respect the offer. He even tried to upsell me to something else. I complained and said any respectable business would not do what he did. So I bought the advertised product with a coupon I had, all the while making it clear that this was wrong. Later as we were eating, the server came, apologized and refunded the difference; he said it was with managers authorization. Oh...and the table we sat at looked clean but was very sticky.

The food is good, as usual for A&W. The dining area is roomy. However the service here is amateur compared to other A&W franchises. Workers look harried, unsure, and their Indian accents are very thick. Staff too monocultural for my liking. Washroom cleanliness needs improvement.

I eat at A&W because I can get a Lettuce Wrap burger and ask for no salt and they come thru most of the time. I have often asked for no ketchup in the past but I am often told it does not come with ketchup so I went on their website to look at the menu and confirm this and to my delight I read the ingredients and confirmed no ketchup was mentioned. So I I went to Sumas way location today and ordered my usual lettuce wrap uncle burger. But when I started eating it I found it had been loaded with ketchup. I called to complain and I was asked if I had ordered it without ketchup. I told them I had not and that it does not come with Ketchup. Then I was told to take it up with management. So I asked for the manager and when the manager came on I was asked again if I had ordered it without ketchup. I again said It should not have ketchup and to prove my point I started reading the ingredients from their website. The line went quiet and then I realized I was hung up on. I called back incase it was an accident but I went to voice mail. I know she did not like me telling her what is supposed to be on the burgers, but what am I supposed to do? It is right there on the site and they do not want to know from customers what to put on their food as set out by their corporate office. This location does not care how the food is made or dealing with customer complaints. I recommend staying away from this location. I want my money back and I want everyone to know how I was treated. I have gone to this location many times over the years but if this is how they treat customers then I will not be going back again. Dietary restrictions: To combat high blood pressure I avoid carbs like sweet things and buns and go for the lettuce wrap options and ask for no added salt. This is what happens to a lot of people my age and we have to look around for trusted places to eat where we can get food that is healthier for us to eat. Salt should be an option not forced on us. Same with Sugar and carbs. Ketchup is a horrible thing to eat. The only reason they put it on burgers is because they know it is one of those things that many people are hooked on because it contains too much sugar and preservatives and it increases body fat and obesity. This leads to many harmful affects that everyone is well aware of but the biproduct is increased consumption of food and to those that frequent fast food joints, it means an increase in more of the bad stuff if your not aware or careful. This all leads to many health issues and an earlier death. Know what your eating and know what your should avoid. You have the right to request healthier options and if a restaurant does not want to cater to your request, Do Not EAT There!

Foods pretty consistent and 9/10 the orders correct when they hand it to you at the drive through.

This particular location is quite different from others. They are disconnected from the customers. They make you feel like they are going out of their way for you. They appear rushed even if just one person was in-line and.

First time at this location, staff took a while to acknowledge and take my order. When i got my food i realized my hash browns were not fresh, they were not freshly fried, and the cheese was half on the actual sandwhich. Never had an experience like this at any other A&W.

I found my visit very uneventful, girl behind the counter no uniform, in jeans wearing a hoodie with the hood over her head, took my order not very pleasant then proceeded to just start texting while my food sat in the slide tray for bout 1 min. For 1 wearing a hoodie while behind a food counter and having the hood over ur head I find very disrespectful, 2 you shouldnt be texting on ur phone while behind the counter more disrespect. I find it to be a poor way of running a store but being a franchise probably nothing will be done.

I only get onion rings from A&W and this location is very inconsistent, sometimes they have ro much seasoning its hardly edible and other times there is no seasoning, rarely do they get the right amount on there. Staff is friendly and they are efficient, rarely make you wait longer then 5 minutes for fresh

Charged me 30 dollars for a kids meal and teen burger combo. When asked why I was told apple juice is an additional 6 dollar charge. No one will correct it. Total should be 22 dollars. Never going back. Sickening how it was handled too. Incompetent staff needs retraining

Favorite memories of my childhood

I dont usually write a review but i went their couple of times . And the food was expired and dead. The reason i know because i have worked at a&w in past and i know how it feels, looks, and taste like when the food is expired. And everytime i went here the food was expired .

I got the new Nashville Hot chicken sandwich was way beyond my expectations for any restaurant never mind a fast food restaurant. It was a large sandwich with a decent amount of spice, quickly served. The restaurant was clean and service was excellent. 4.75 stars is my official rating for the Sumas way location.

I have waited years for a whistle dog and it looks like Ill be waiting several more. Did you even bring them back because I have tried to get one 6 out of the last 7 days at 2 locations and they dont have them. 1st world problem- I know. How difficult IS it to source the very common ingredients for this menu item and get them delivered??? All the advertising, all the excitement and you cant deliver. Super disappointing a&w.

There place has place downhill over the past year. The burger patties are always burnt and missing ingredients. Just drive to Clearbrook.

Paid 30 dollars for 2 burgers and onion rings. The onion rings were not rings. We instead received a bag of onion mush with some breading crumbs. I know its fast food but it would be nice to say we got a little bit of actual value for our money.

Big LED sign out front says $1 coffee any size but got to the window and they said that deal expired 8 days ago but they just have not changed the signage? Harpreet your Supervisor refused to honor the price. Sign says $1 coffee you should honor what you advertise am I wrong?

I normally dont eat fast food. But I was running around and I was hungry. I ordered the chicken strips because Hey, no hormones! When I took the 1st one out of the bag it was lukewarm and sort of limp. I took a small bite and it wasnt cooked. The other 2 also were limp. I threw it away I didnt have the energy to go back to complain. I dont understand, isnt the food all on a timer? Gross. What a waste

So I visited this drive Thur location last night with three cars ahead of me and a few behind. I wanted to have the beyond the meat burger. So we pulled up to the menu board and there s a sign out of beyond burgers . Quite frustrating as we were now blocked in behind multiple vehicles and couldn t get out anywhere. We patiently waited as each car got their meals. So annoying as it s not quick. Maybe next time so it doesn t happen to future customers you can put signs prior to entering your drive Thur such as the two drive Thur signs!

Great location, super convenient! BUT very slow service and for the last three times I have been, they always forget something. I do normally get orders for 4-5 people (all in one order) and some things are easy to spot (like a drink) but I wont sit there opening 3 bags to count and make sure all burgers, fries and everything is in there.. well, it hasnt been the case lately so, quite disappointing

Went for coffee with my friend. I guess new employee, had trouble with register. We paid, then we had to wait, she never poured the coffee. We thought oh good fresh pot brewing. Coffee was NOT brought to us. We had to go get it. It was COLD. Back we went...finally 10mins later got our coffee, oh by the way we were the only customers!! .
