The hammerburger bun had mold on it .They fixed it, but it was gross

Luke warm fries and sandwiches wont be back

this was my worst expersince on sny of the a&w the man taling order was really bot and not prepared the food by the way ordered .

Good Teen burger, crispy fries, ice cold root beer!

Over the past few years it has felt like more of a coin toss as to whether I get barely warm fries or fresh food. Tails its hot; heads is meh. Sometimes it got so bad that it felt more like a two headed coin! (Batman reference ) Today it landed on tails. I am guessing because I was at the end of a dinner rush. Things were so much better several years ago when different people ran it. But A&W still beats most if the other fast food options. What you get varies from location so caveat emptor.

Terrible customer service, Two girls standing, and gossiping next to window and refusing to hand out the order where we parked as it was gonna take 8-10 minutes. Full of attitude, rude behaviour.Srsly ,the management really needs to look deeper into these matter otherwise no one would prefers to visit this location because of a few employees.

I found a sharp object in the burger it could have killed me and also strow and ketchup was missing I call the store ,they admitted their mistake and agreed to give me credit but after i went to store they simply ignored and declined and the evening staff was so rude time(4:05pm) Vegetarian options: Masala burger combo

Terrible , as are most food places in Abbotsford now . Cant follow simple requests like no onion , instead, they give me onion with no tomato . I feel like theres nowhere left thats half decent to eat . Only wish the franchise owner would read all these low star reviews and do something about it .

At least they have a vegetarian option, unlike some other fast food places

Went through the drive through. After sitting for a whole minute with no greeting to take my order, finally said hello and got a one moment please. Evidently that moment was a minute. Finally got to order, pulled up to the window. Wanted to pay with a prepaid visa (you know, the kind that only swipe). Their machine is apparently held together by rubber bands, so the channel to swipe was blocked half way down. The lady said it would work, humoured her and swiped, shockingly there was a card error (as I expected). Fortunately had enough cash on hand, but just a little silly. Then my buns were burnt, and chicken cold. Next time Ill drive to the Sumas Way location

Poor Service, indian Lady on Cash Counter very Non Welcome behaviour. No napkins on counter, rock hard burnt eggs.

They have always treated me with great respect I feel right at home and I come here everyday if it works for you why change .

This location has always been great friendly and the food has always been very yummy!

I have worked in service so I understand the want to go home but I pulled up at 10:45; 15 minuets before close and the lady was hostile and checking her watch and then we got our food. I am vegetarian and so I ordered a beyond meat burger and after getting home figured out I got a papa burger and now they re closed and I can t eat anything. Extremely disappointed.

This is the worst drive thru in Abbotsford. The morning crew are most unpleasant. If you dont like or care about your job then Please me on! I will not be patronizing this location anymore. At least they say Hello and smile at McDs

Huge a and w location never packed

I order burger with coupon $5.99, they charge $6.59, I said 5% tax is 30 cent total should be $6.29 ,the girl insist her counter shows $6.59. So i paid $6.60. I do not mind to pay $6.60 ,but the A&W company seems doing something wrong .grab customers ?

Came here on my lunch break and ordered 2 teen burgers. Ended up with food poisoning, which resulted in me going into the Urgent Care Unit and being bedridden for 2 days. Becareful for anyone else that eats here, especially the seniors throughout the day.

Awesome food

Order a stacker burger somehow they thought it was yam fries then proceeded to make the stacker completely wrong and burnt. They seem to be going with the tim Hortons hiring method

Tried to order bacon and egger on muffin. Told me it was $17.75 for sandwich. You need to insure your people are proficient with English or French before you turn them loose on the public. There isnt a sandwich in BC worth that much. Will not ever go back to A and W to be ripped off

The pancakes were good. Not super special, but they tasted like my pre-mix pancakes at home, which is fine. Service was also good. Not understaffed and very friendly. Food

I went through the drive through and when the window was finally opened there was no hello a machine was shoved at me...I paid then out came my onion rings. Got to work and no napkins, no ketchup...just onion rings...didnt realize I need to start carrying my own? I paid 6.08 couldnt they at least throw in some ketchup?? Threw half of them away, no sauce?

Fast and good customer service

I was fine with the poor service when the food and drink (especially coffee) were good. Now the quality of food began to slip, won t going back anytime soon. Advice: don t get the hash brown, they are consistently bad.

Went there at 10:45 but they already locked the doors. Asked the lady who was working there at drive thru if i can order anything, she said that they already cleaned anything so they cant serve.

Its so much better than the Mission location A&W. The food was well put together, it was hot and tasted amazing. I will happily drive to Abbotsford my A&W fix from now on.

My husband and I went inside and had breakfast. Service was quick and efficient. The food was ready fast and was delicious

My family and I were shocked to discover that A&W have stopped serving Root Beer Floats. We are visiting Canada, and getting a root beer float was one of our things we loved to do. We are not happy with this change. I guess A&W have different products they are wanting to push instead of the float, like frozen root beer, for example, but we are not going to try those. We also had sweet potato fries, and poutine. The sweet potato fries were good, and the poutine was okay. All in all, a bit of a disappointment, but the root beer is still fabulous.

There is no friendliness of the staff at all. I would have been satisfied if there had been a smiling face and kind words.

Never get heartburn after having one of their hamburgers.

Git a gift card for Christmas . So a family member and I had lunch in. Staff was polite, confident and capable. Great service.

Ordered Chicken Strips and French Fries, both were super fresh and delicious! Super friendly staff at the drive thru!

Order 80 burgers off of Uber eats for work. took 2 hours for them to confirm that they accepted my visa but refused to take the order because it was too much for them to handle. This store and type of service doesn t even deserve one star. Fail.

Obviously they dont care about walkin customers! 2 girls giggling to the kitchen and no counter service! It was 5 pm and 3 cars were serviced through the drive thru and still no greeting, or Ill be with you in a moment, nothing. So I stormed out and went through the drive thru where the young man was actually doing his job. One of the chatty Kathys pretty much tossed my bag of food at me! Ill never gi to this location again and will gladly spread the word about it!

I went here because I had a couple of coupons. They messed up my order, and I forgot to check before I left, so I go back (10 minutes drive home, plus 10 mins back there) only to have them say yeah we can fix your order, but youll have to pay for the replacement, because thats company policy. So now I will be calling head office because your manager is lying about the companys policy. If you want good food AND service from an a&w, go to the whatcom rd location. Its a bit more of a drive, but well worth the extra time and gas.

I have been to many A&W restaurants. And this one really had to be the worse one. I had to argue about our drinks. And the bottles of rootbeer to take home. The onion rings half raw. Fry where only half cooked. The rootbeer coffee shake was tasteless. The rootbeer on tap war very weak. I could go on. But l wont

I ordered breakfast with no tomato due to alergies. Had to tell her twice. Both times she didnt understand me. Meal shows up, bright red tomato. Ive had language problems at this location several times and its really frustrating. Not being racist however all the staff are brown. Take away what you will

Had a lunch break between tournament games and decided to order some fast regular meals not only did they forget the meal after already waiting for 30 minutes we find out they gave it to some delivery guy although the order was named and everything and made us reorder everything taking another 20 minutes. Although AandW taste ok the service was terrible. After getting our food after 50 minutes they forgot the shake I ordered and said they would deliver to our table in which they forgot again. I then asked for a refund since we had finished eating and they didn t even give the correct amount of change back. For a 4.89$ drink + tax they only gave back 4.70 where at this point I was so done with them. The servers never once apologized or did anything for their mistakes. I would never recommend this place or come back

This location still has Franks Red Hot sauce. I like to mix it with my ketchup for my burger and fries Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free/Gluten Wise options

Although the breakfast and coffee is good, the service really sucks. I drove up to the drive-thru window and the girls whole interaction was saying the money I owed. No smile, no Good Morning. She basically just threw the bag of food at me and slammed the window shut. And that was my treat for the day. Wish I had spent my money elsewhere. Girl, if you hate it that much, just quit. You arent doing the rest of us or yourself any favours by staying there.

I did an online order there a couple days ago but that had some issues in the food quality. So, I took help from the app I used to order it. So, they helped me to resolve my problem and refunded my money. I really appreciate it. Usually, I go over this location, always had a good food and best customer service. Best location. Food

Its A&W, all right. Heres the thing. I am intolerant of gluten. This is the first fast food place I have dared to try that doesnt make me ill. Its very helpful to have a meal option when I am in a hurry that wont lay me flat. So, as someone who is very careful of my diet, its the one place I can be naughty without paying a price. Once in a while works for me. Parking: BUSY PARKING LOT but usually plenty of parking after I pull out from the drive through.

Says Home of the Burger Family on the front. Dont fall for their tricks. There is no family of burgers inside.

Best experience I ve ever had at a fast food restaurant. I ordered a burger, root beer slush, and onion rings. The order taker helped me with my coupons and placed my order quickly. When my onion rings were made by the kitchen, the staff member sent them back without me even seeing the order, she requested that they add more rings to the basket. When the food arrived, it was all fresh and delicious. I m impressed to see a fast food restaurant where the staff cares about the quality of the food they make and care about their customers experience. Thank you!

I am not a fan of fast food, but choose A&W because its more earth friendly with its compostable packaging and the food is generally good quality for fast food. This time my burger was lackluster at best; it was sloppily put together, skimpy on ingredients, and the patty tasted old. Some of the fries were also undercooked. Hopefully it was just an off day for staff.

Teen burger meal. Cant go wrong

The food was good. Pd 35.00 for three meals. Had to pay 35 cents for more dipping sauce. Yes, no waste is good. Come on. Seems a little cheap!

A while back I ordered a burger with no cheese & no mayo. First they gave me a burger with cheese. Then I went back in and they fixed it. But when I checked it had mayo. Then I went back in again and this time they made the burger with cheese & mayo . I didn t bother going in a 4th time.. having said that the staff have always been really friendly. And their wait times aren t too bad. So I guess if ur debating going here or not it all comes down to whether you value food more or environment.

Not really impressed. Girls were chatting when they should have been helping customers. Also they were over charging. The price for a small macchiato say 2.99 but they were charging 3.50. When I asked them about it they said that s the price. It should be listed as such shouldn t it then? My food was cold as well.

I went through the drive thru today and the person taking my order was very rude and did not sound nice at all. I do not like how I was treated and the service was terrible. I wouldn t recommend this location if you want someone with a rude attitude to serve you. Was also very disappointed in the lack of communication while taking my order as I was talking loud and clear.

My husband and I go there every weekend for breakfast! The last 2 weekends had new people work and the young guy was so rude and today we walked in and the young girl working was laying on the counter! Come on where is the some what professionalism in Abbotsford! We walked out and went to the other an and w on sumas way.

I can go here at 630 am and still get a teen burger. Doesnt have to be breakfast. But burger burgers are served at this time. Thats why this is my 630 am dinner. I love it. I wish other people did this. Also the staff is super nice in the morning. Also the customers. Random customers just doing their Wednesday morning coffees are nice to say hi. Parking: Soo.. let me tell you. I drove in to the parking lot. Stopped in front of a parking stall. But backed into another empty parking stall. Turned my car off. And left it there, UNLOCKED!!!!! No issues. It was glorious. Like I was living Im the 70s. IF PARKING IS WHAT YOURE LOOKING FOR!!! THIS IS THE PLACE!!!!! Wheelchair accessibility: I dont have a wheelchair. But I could imagine if I lost my legs in a fire. That I could roll on through their doors with no problem

5.87 for a Bacon & Egger with 2 skimpy pieces of bacon . Never again . Ill stick with Mcds & Timmys.

I recently had an excellent experience at this restaurant, the dine in area was warm and clean, the Root Beer was cold and creamy in frosty glasses and the burgers were the meaty goodness I have come to expect from good A&W s a step above a lot of the other chains in this area

My wife Baljinder Gambhir Singh and I came here to get a nice meal to go. They gave me a Diet Coke when I ordered a coke. They didn t give me a straw either. Baljinder ordered extra bacon on her burger and they didn t give it to her either even though we paid extra.

The Teen burgers are great!

They didn t give me my fried and my sandwich looks like someone took a bite of it and smashed it all together.

Not at all happy that I went three times to get their whistle dog and they didnt have it and head office wasnt sending it for a couple more days but not the staff faults as they are great Not going back as I dont like stores that do bait and switch.

Maybe people wont get the message until their loved one dies from Covid before they get the message that you actually DO have to wear gloved when handling food. I saw this myself after ordering my food, sickens me that most fast food joints actually do not practice sanitation with food also makes me question what kind of manage they have in there. Maybe, an unannounced health inspection needs to take place at all these fast food restaurant. Absolutely pathetic.
