Very poor service we just ordered some snacks pakoda and chowmein it took took 45 min and the resturant was empty and no plates were given i have to ask them for plates many times. We have to eat in the bowl. Will never recommond any one. Sorry I dont know how they are running the buisness. Its okay . Its abbsford.. its granted. And there is no bill given .. I got a hand written bill. Amazing ..

This place was good prior to the pandemic. Not sure if the ownership changed although the food is not good. Ordered; 3 Plain Nan Chicken Korma Daal Makhani Nan were fresh and cooked just right, although had to much butter. I should have taken a picture of the Korma and Daal, when I opened the container it was floating in a least and 1/8 of an inch of butter or oil. You can see in the pictures the ring of oil/butter. You can also see the chicken is not completely cooked. Indian food is hand food your Naan is the spoon/fork, in this case your hand becomes an oil slick as you are scooping and eating. I don’t recommend this place
Was doing laundry next door at the laundromat and stumbled across this place for take out, great prices and tasty food! They do lunch specials as well. We got: • Wild Rice (Recommend) • Goat Vindaloo (Recommend) • Chickpea Pantheras • Garlic Naan (Recommend) • Plain Roti • Fish Pakoras (Recommend) I highly recommend the Goat Vindaloo, super tasty. Meat doesn’t taste gamey and meat falls off the bone. Overall for $60, lots of left overs and all quite tasty! Great service and if come back to try other dishes!
We were hungry and passing by Abbotsford and wondering what to eat and saw Mr. India restaurant. The appearance from parking lot is not appealing, my wife sent me to go inside and have a look and decide to eat there or not, went inside and looked clean with 6 or 7 tables. We ordered Shahi paneer, Prawns curry, Rogan josh, Basmati rice and garlic Naan. Beside Basmati rice that tasted like other places, the rest were delicious and well above most places we've tried Indian food. Three stews had very generous amount of tasty sauce. All dishes were hot and stayed hot despite the fact we waited 7-8 min before eating (we ordered Masala chai and wanted to have it before the food). Shrimp was fresh, juicy and well beyond my expectation. I would give it 5 star just for shrimp alone, too many places fail miserably when they make a dish with it. At first we didn't ordered Naan (we try not to eat more than what we should) but after having those plates on our table decided to go for it. My suggestion, do yourself a favor and order Garlic Naan no mater what, it's awesome, thin, fresh and comes in hot then dip it in any stew you order. We will definitely go back again, it looks like a family run business that they try hard to do their best. Since my original post, we have visited twice more and tried couple of other things. Instead of tea we got Mango Lassi with recommendation of our server, I'm glad we listened to her. Beside being delicious it also helps if your food is a bit spicier than what you usually have. Prawns goan Curry and Mango chicken were awesome. In our latest visit we tried both garlic bread and sweet Mango coconut Naan. It was delicious but between the two, garlic Naan still is hands down a winner (we ordered a second garlic Naan, you really can't think about dieting while there). Staff are very polite and friendly, we have tried few fancy Indian restaurants before, to us taste wise Mr. India is above them all. Went again last weeks after couple of month (it's almost an hour drive from our home) and again they hit it out of park, everything is so delicious, at first I was telling my friends what to have when they go there but now I realize it was a mistake because everything is tasty and done right, so now my recommendation is just try whatever you see in the menu and then try something else next time till you've had all their dishes.

OMG - traveling here on biz, stumbled upon this gem - cant find punju food like this anywhere in Toronto where I live - had the tarri murg - piping hot, spicy and exotic - the clincher was the mirchi achar (to die for) - wish I was living close by - Simi was so kind and considerate - shes awesome

Order Palak paneer clearly asked for very mild Caz of (health reasons), And guess what they made it extra spicy called its talked to owners son and he pass the phone to someone else might been his Dad I think, I kindly told him the problem, he was talking so much didnt even want to listen to me.. keep saying we did not put any spice and this is how its made..we ordered every week same thing never had any problems...but this was the last... i Will never order again

The food was good. Simmi was great at service. We had the Garlic Naan based on reviews and it was 10/10. Soya Malai Chaap was 8.5/10 and both the Paneer Curries were decent. Food : 4/5

Great food and even better hospitality. We ordered Garlic Naan, Paneer, Chicken wings and chicken Biriyani. All were fresh and delicious. The lady managing the restaurant was very courteous and efficient. She gave our kid crayons and pages to engage while waiting for the food. Will surely visit again.
I went the other day to Mr.India to get the best Butter Chicken in Abbotsford in the Fraser Valley area.The heat (spice) is very powerful,so when the server asked me how spicy l wanted it,l told her l would like the white mans Mild I took it home and phoned Mr.India to tell them , it was so delicious l could not stop eating it.
We always order pick up from Mr. India and it never disappoints. Their chicken dishes are our favourite and their naan is always fresh. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

The BEST in abbotsford, hands down!!!! So sad I ve found it after so long. We randomly went in to try and it was the best experience, the order taking and serving lady is the best. This was my first time dining in Mr India restaurant and it was the best experiance ever. Mixed paranthas prepared by Parmjit were very yummy and Simrans service was very good and she was very kind. This restaurant is repeatable.

I went to the restraunt after 4 years gap. The chicken fried rice is amazing here with their green sauce. The customer service ambience and food quality and quantity was amazing. The customer service was excellent with best 90s song. The food service was good and the owner and staff both were very nice and friendly. They took great care of all my needs. It was hygienic and well organized. I really enjoyed my fvrt food and loved the care provided. I will recommend everyone to try thier chicken fried rice Thank you Mr India for an excellent selfless service. You deserve the five stars
The food in the past has been great The service however really leaves something to be desired. We walked in and the owner was on the phone. He did look up at us but he didnt acknowledge us at all. Ok so hes on the phone we seated ourselves. At about the 10 minute mark we rang his desk bell. No response. At the 15 minute mark we rang it again. Still nothing at the 20 minute mark the owner came out and was still on the phone and still didnt look at us. One of us said, Excuse me?, he didnt respond. He said louder this time Excuse me can we order? He looked up and said yeah Ill call her. Then went back to his phone conversation. We waited another couple minutes and he was still on the phone so we got up and left. He said as we were going One second, one second. I said dont worry about it we wont be back. Youd think with an empty restaurant that hed want our business. I guess not.

Been a fan of their food but got very disappointed today. Orderd saag for the third time since we loved it so much but unfortunately it was so nasty that we had to throw the whole thing away. They watered it down so much I guess just so they could make it a Large as per our order. Not only it was so watered down it didnt even tasted the same. So flavorless!

Accessible and clean Warm service and good food. They were able to prepare food tailored to our needs with minimum spices for the kids. My father lived the tawa Roti as it was just like made at home. The chow win had abundant cabbage and would have preferred a mix of veggies. Will visit again

Dined in. Great meal. Three of us had a feast of veggie pakora (crispy and perfect), Mattar mushroom, chinken Tika masala, and lamb vindaloo. Sides were butter naan and rice. Medium-hot was decently spicy, though we three enjoy the heat

The exterior is deceptively unimpressive... But once inside, I was met with a very elegant dining room, the atmosphere of the place is lovely and peaceful. The food was exceptional, some of the best Ive ever had. But the stand out of the evening was the service. Our server clearly really cared that we had a pleasant experience, and indeed we did. Will absolutely be back.
I had a great experience here. I was served by Simmi who is polite and cheerful. I had the aloo parantha which reminded me of home. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

This was my favorite spot but lately the food has gone downhill. Everything I order seems overly watery, doesnt feel like an actual curry. The service is still super polite and the lunch/dinner specials price is worth it but ordering a Main dish just isnt anymore. Ill have to find a new spot unfortunately

Great service and delicious food. The spice level is a little less so make sure to order extra spicy for indian taste. Chicken was nice and tender. Bhature and naan were soft and perfectly cooked. Paneer was also fresh and soft, like home made. Negative comment- the quantity of chhole in chhole bhature was very less for 2 big bhature. Had to use chhole like a dip for bhature.

This might be long but it s worth a read.. I was getting my phone fixed near Mr India and while I had to wait for my phone to be fixed I decided to go in right into this restaurant. When I walked in the nice man at the front greeted me and I felt so welcome. The server came to me right away and she was so pleasant. The food came super fast and was DELICIOUS!!! The sever was amazing and asked me if the food was good and even at the end they asked me again!! Amazing people and amazing restaurant!! It s also beautiful inside. 10/10 experience!! The best butter chicken in town. Nice and spicy . Portion sizes are perfect I usually get two meals out of one order regular size. The naan is fresh nice and buttery seems to be cooked in a brick oven. My wife had the lamb vindaloo she said it was really good very spicy.
