Have a worst experience with them i order 30 minutes before reaching there when i reached there they were saying we haven't receive your order. .might think they were talking on the phone wasted my alot time . Thanksx alot guys
Me and my friend ordered veggie noodles for takeout. What we usually add in noodles? Green pepper, cabbage and carrots, right? Guess what they put in their noodles, cabbage and orange peppers that was it. I’ve never seen orange peppers and turmeric in noodles before. We gave them another try this weekend. We ordered kadhai paneer and naans. Green pepper was literally uncooked, I felt like I was eating raw green peppers. Wasted our money again.
It's a small hole in the wall Punjabi restaurant. What they may lack in flair, they make up for with delicious and authentic food. Their food reminds me of the dishes my Nani (Grandma) used to make. I eat here pretty regularly, and my favorite dish is the Paneer Bhurji Combo, pictures can be found below!
Tried it for the first time and the experience was fine. Got Manchurian for the starters which wasn't hot(tempwise) and didnt come with green chutney like other places. Ordered Malai kofta in veg combo and Butter chicken in non-veg combo for the main meal. It was okay becuase it wasn't spicy at all as asked for but the taste was good. The portion size was well off for all. Very small place to dine in so take out is a better option. It was clean and busy but we were not attended properly so we didn't appreciate the service at all. Definitely need more staff. Online menu shows completely different prices as opposed to the one on menu in the restaurant which is a complete misrepresentation.
I'm from out of town and found them on Google maps when looking for a lunch spot while I was in town. Their butter chicken is delicious, rice cooked perfectly and the garlic Naan was tasty. I would definitely be back if I lived in Abbotsford
We ordered Chana bhatura and two different types of parantha, Mooli and aloo.Everything we ordered tasted very fresh, very authentic homestyle. Batore were a nice size , not too small or big. Portion size for chana Bhatora was just right. They served it with onion, Hari mirch and carrot achaar as usual. Their dahi was probably one of the best I have ever had from a restaurant. My picky 3 year old devoured one of the Bhatora as it was easy to chew and not too oily. My husband devoured through his parantha plate. He said it was the best home-style parantha he’s had. Size of parantha was quite nice and it was filled very well to all corners. Also, they weren’t oily at all either. We have had ordered paronthay from different restaurants but usually they are way too heavy and taste just isn’t there. If you are looking for a home style food, that’s not too heavy and have that authentic North Indian taste- look no further.
The worst experience ever. Naan was not even cooked properly. When requested she brought more burnt. Staff even doesn't maintain cleanliness. Glass, plates and utensils were dirty. When we asked for spoon, she put it on the table instead of on the plate or napkins. Never ever coming to this restaurant again.
Yesterday I ordered a mix pratha plate and it was stale and cold so I fell sick it was very bad experience

I havnt had Indian cuisine in over 10 years. Lately I have been absolutaly craving it, after looking at some options to try I decided on Bhavs. I was not disappointed. Great, fresh flavor. I will be recommending and returning. Thanks (Update) Ive returned numerous times over the past year and Bhavs quality is still on point. Extremely delicious dishes and very friendly staff. Ive been back numerous times since the name change and still think this is a treasure in Abbotsford. Very friendly staff and food and is amazing every time!

We had food from there earlier too but recently there quality of food going down after they expand there business. We ordered manchurian and khdayi chicken from them. Manchurian was dry taste like old even the dish quantity was less with no taste. Chicken was fine but it taste like butter chicken instead of khadhayi chicken I think they either need to change their cook or quality of foo
We ordered Amritsari kulcha, mulli and gobi paratha. Everything was very tasty and fresh. Good size potions. Staff was very friendly. Will we visiting again. Parking: Ample parking

I was craving some good butter chicken and samosas. As I was on the hunt, a friend recommended Royal India. The food was delicious and the service was terrific!! I will definitely be back. They have fair pricing and you actually get chicken chunks in the butter chicken!! (not all sauce with only one or two pieces of chicken). Remember to save space for some of their sweet treats! Thank you for a fabulous experience tonight!

Ordered Large Trays of Veg Noodles and Manchurian gravy. Taste, quantity, spice level of Noodles were all great and mouth watering. Manchurian was a bit spicy as asked for but taste yummy. Definitely recommend . Must try Chana Bhatura. Better order beforehand.

Paneer pakoda is a must try recipe for all paneer lovers. The best I have had. But the other day they mixed my order for daal turka with daal makhani and also not too good in taste. Vegetarian options: chhole bhature and panner pakoda. Must try

Raita, was extremely sour and smelt off, also wasnt packaged properly so most poured into the bagged delivered. The lamb birani the next day was slimy smelt/tasted off. The butter chicken was salty. The shahi paneer tasted like burnt cheese. I can get past some seasoning problems but the fact that two items were in my opinion spoiled and non edible from star to 1 day later from purchase is not acceptable. Also I have food safe, use to be a chef. Its not just like mmm that taste different its I really dont think I should be eating that, somethings off. Have ordered from here before. This experience has me wanting to throw out my whole order ontop of one of the lamb curries had an extremely strong lamb scent and taste.... that can happen but now that Ive gotten 2 items out of 7 that I know are rotten, it has me questioning the strong lamb scent. Also who wants to eat burnt cheese. I wont ever order from here again !

Complained but the lady did not give any attention and dropped the call.Things happen but if the service would have been better we would understood. Never going back or recommending any one. I ordered catering from Royal India for a meeting of 25 people and everyone at the meeting said the food was 5 stars! The owner was very accommodating and personalized my order to exactly what I needed. He helped carry all the food to my car as well, which was very helpful as it was a lot of food and very heavy. The food was amazing, and such a good price. We got butter chicken, aloo gobi, channa masala, rice, naan, and a variety of desserts and everything was incredible. Very tasty paneer pronthe. But they need to work on their dahi(curd) as most of the times it is sour and their tea. Overall good experience.

I had a trip to Vancouver and went to this restuarant in Abbortsford with my friends.The food served was fresh and presented very good.I ordered the butter chicken(delicious) ,raita and plain roti(very soft like home made).Moreover the owner of restuarant is also helpful with the staff and friendly.I would be coming to this restuarant for sure if I ll have a trip to vancouver in future.
Tried Parantha Plate (aaloo, Gobi and mix) all tasted delicious with Sweet lassi. Small cozy dine in place. Best for quick brunch.
My wife and I have a love for tasty curry. We have eaten curry from all over the lower mainland and we are very particular so it was a pleasant surprise to find this gem in the heart of abbotsford. The food was not perfect but it was so delicious, rustic and made with love. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would definitely recommend trying. Super friendly service and fantastic food!

We ordered some Noodles and Paneer Pakodas ... but Noodles were totally ridiculous in taste... we have to dump it... Never gonna visit them ever again.

Update: I have been disappointed my last 2 visits. Both times I had to wait upon pick-up. The food was Luke warm, too salty, and no fresh ginger on top anymore. I may have to find a new place. They must have changed their cook or something Best Goat Curry in town!!! And I have tried several. Fresh and flavorful every time I have had it, and have always done the take-out option. I highly recommend trying them.

Royal India Resturant really goes by their name. So far out of the Indian restaurants me and my family had went to, Royal India Restaurant is the best. Their dine in and take out service is extraordinary and always ready before the time they tell us to pick up. Keep up the excellent work.

Food was too watery was poorly packaged resulting in it spilling all over the car. Invest in a second plastic bag. Woman taking my order was in ultra crank mode. Man giving me order was still learning to speak.

Yesterday i had dinner with my family in this restaurant.I am feeling great by having dinner in royal India restaurant.We especially enjoyed mango lassi with butter chicken and Naans. I think i didn t ever had this kind of delicious food earlier. The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We highly recommend it. Best Samosas Ive had. Tandoori Chicken and Fish Pakora very tasty. However the lady who brings the food is not friendly nor is the person who takes phone orders.

Thanks for your reply, but it s a complete lie. The man did not have any face covering. No cloth, nothing. He did not wash his hands after touching money. No one said to wait in the car. There were 5 people inside although the sign says max 3. Complete lies. There was no issue with timing. Even if you are busy, covid rules should be followed. I am immune compromised. You are risking people s health. The health department should investigate. I don t want my food after someone touched money and then opens the containers.

We ordered first time from the Royal India, previously Bhav Indian cuisine. Ordered 6 parantha (2 paneer, 2 cauliflower, 2 potatoes) all were made fresh and super filled and were carefully packed and good portion. The senior indo canadian uncle that served us was super nice and assured all food was cooked with top quality and freshly prepared and covid safety protocol was followed. We felt the freshness while eating, ingredients and taste was amazing, no pre-made or prepared in advance. We were given 25 mins for pickup and they were spot on with food pick up time. Will order from them again. Keep up the great quality food and awesome honest service Royal India Team!
Easily one of the best Indian restaurants in the Lower Mainland; always stellar food with prompt and friendly service. Nearly every time we venture out to Abbotsford we stop here to pick up a meal or dine in - I highly recommend it!

I am giving 3 stars for food. -1 for Raita and -1 for customer service. Food was delicious. Everything was good except the raita and salad. Their Bhindi and mix veg is so amazing. But the raita was so sour that I can t take bite of it. It was waste of money. Salad on side was also soggy. The lady on call she didn t listen what I was saying instead she cut the phone and it happened twice. No doubt they must be busy but they should listen to customers before cutting the phone.

One of the best casual Indian food places in the lower mainland. I have been to pretty much every sweet shop around but these guys are unbeatable. The food was flavourful, appropriately seasoned, not greasy and simple. No fuss, no extra, just simple eats done well. The prices are ridiculously low for the portion sizes. We got chole batura, paneer pakora, two khulcha plates, a veg combo, and a plate of the paneer pakora. Everything came in 20 minutes with great service. Would definitely go back for more!

Just so good!!! We went in starving and came out as happy as one could hope. The kulchas were some of the best we have had around here and their portion sizes are just perfect.
When today for breakfast. We had paranthas for breakfast and they were amazing. Great home made like taste and reasonably priced. The girl who was serving was super nice too. Definitely recommend it. Will come back to try something new!

Bhavs (aka ROYAL INDIA) is FABULOUS! We did a take-out order due to Covid, a nice selection of curries and meats, and WOW, everything was beyond expectations. The service was spot-on, and the extra salad and nan was very much appreciated. The interior of the restaurant leaves a bit to be desired BUT the food, service, hospitality and sincere appreciation from the owners more than makes up for the lack of paint / ambiance :-) You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the care that they put into each dish. What I love best about the food is that it does not revisit 2-3 hours after you have eaten......think back to the freshness and thoughtful ingredients. Obviously we HIGHLY recommend Royal India, it is now our go-to Indian restaurant in the Fraser Valley.
OK folks this is the place for dinner the food is excellent they delivered everything on point my fish pakora was still crispy when I got it everything was tasty and flavourful 100% The price is great for the amount of food they give you!!! I live up in Forrest Terrace so anybody out this way this is the way to go guaranteed.
