The staff is very friendly, and was more than happy to give recommendations, I had the fish curry, and it was pretty fantastic, the tea was all right as well, and the portions are generous, my only major complaint is I ordered spicy, and I was given, medium, I know they re just looking out for me, but it isn t what I wanted, that being said everything else was spectacular, definitely my topic for a late night eats in Abbotsford

I had been into this restaurant alot and food is so good. But lately It becomes so congested that you need scooch your butt to enter into the seating cabins. Really hard for little healthy people. Other thing I found was their washroom- it was not clean and very small as well. I couldn t find any diaper changing station in the washroom. I mean I get it that you go to restaurant for couple hours that your baby don t need a changing but still you never know what would happen with babies(might pooped, drop food, etc). You guys really need to RENOVATE your restaurant considering the good quality of food we also need good and comfortable seating.

Zaika catered my whole wedding week, including my mehendi, my wedding, and my jaggo party was at their hall in mission. Everything was absolutely amazing, from the food to the service! Lalit and his team are very honest and hardworking, they went above and beyond for my events and I m so glad I chose them. Everything was taken care of so we didn t have to stress or worry. The food tasted so good, and there was a lot of variety and carefully chosen menus for each event. Many of my guests were complimenting and talking about it. We will be choosing Zaika catering for all of our future events. Highly recommend!

We only went at this place for tasting BUT WE WERE AMAZED BY THE TASTE WHICH WAS VERY VERY CLOSE TO LAHORI TASTE. Sincerely highly recommended for Pakistani taste. We hadn t had such good Chicken 65 and Chicken Tikka. Especially the server Ms. Samiya was as wonderful very much apt professional and pleasant and guided us greatly, very smiling and cheerful lady; THANK YOU SAMIYA! My family found this place really worth the money and worth visiting. THE OWNER MR. KHERA IS ANOTHER WONDERFUL GENTLEMAN and so pleasant and welcoming and sweet professional. But it all is void if we do not mention the mastery and dedication of the wonderful Mr. Cook. I ordered food yesterday.the food was not very bad but service is bad because when I opened food package there was no napkins, no spoons, no salad, no pickles . Food was very costly and Service quality very poor.I will never order food again.

I ordered online through uber eats dinner amount more than $50 in which there was one large Kadhai Paneer which was totally UNHEALTHY containing HAIR, TOO MUCH SALT and LOTS OF OIL in it which also I brought to the notice of the manager Ankita over the phone. She also said I should take a refund from Uber eats. I also told her that should I put a review then she said yes I should go ahead with it. We went to friends house and no one liked this vegetable, and also did not eat. We were disappointed since we wasted our dinner and the time. The order was from September 1, 2024 evening.

We had a dine-in experience at Zaika on September 3, 2024, and it was very disappointing. While the soya chaap and Manchurian were okay, the biryanis were the worst food we ve ever had. The staff were also rude, so we would not recommend it at all.

First time visiting it today and while the food wasn t bad, everything else was. Useless rude staff, very slow service even when the restaurant was empty and the order was incorrect with a few missing items. Staff here seem like they re working with someone pointing a gun to their head. Not at all interested. Won t be returning here.

I was completely baffled by the awful take-out service I experienced. I went in and paid, then sat down waiting for my order, and waited.... I finally asked if they could check on my order, and they said, oh ya, its here. Not the kind of service I would except from this restaurant. We recently ordered food for a Sukhmani Sahib Paath at our home and was thoroughly impressed with the service. The food was exceptional perfectly balanced spices, fresh, and delicious. The quantity was more than sufficient, and every item was cooked to perfection. The team was incredibly helpful, accommodating our specific needs and even modifying the menu as required. This friday I went to eat jaika roti with my friends and relatives but we were not well attended by the staff. We ordered only two dishes. They didnt attend us well after that and there was a not lot of crowd in zaika whatever region they made, we were so busy that we didnt attend it, but it was a very bad experience for us. I am going to zaika but this time I felt very bad going this time, but I would prefer not to go to zaika next time.

Visited this place yesterday with family, and it was very terrible experience. The quality of food and service were not good at all. The server was being so rude while taking order.

Worst customer service ever received. They don t care about other people s time told me wait 30 minutes for the order which is fine it was just a burger then another 20 mins and they still act like its your fault that you ordered food.

I recently visited Zaika Tastes of India and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. The food did not live up to the price, lacking both quality and flavor. Additionally, the restaurant is not family-friendly; there were no changing tables or suitable furniture for babies, making it inconvenient for families with young children. The supervisor was impolite, asking us to move to accommodate new guests, which felt very unprofessional and inconsiderate. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant, especially for families. We recently had Zaika Tastes of India cater my sisters wedding, and we couldnt have been more thrilled with the experience. The wedding featured a beautiful blend of culinary traditions, and Zaika Tastes of India perfectly captured the essence of both cultures in their menu, delighting all of our guests!

We had a buffet here and the hyderbadi chicken was very well done. The dessert gulab jamun and rasmalai were awesome. Overall the food was good as well as the ambience with a pleasant music. They have good parking space.

I hired Zaika to cater my Wedding this past May. The gave me a good quote on the price, and also arrived w/ their refrigerated vehicle at the venue and were able to cook onsite! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The main star though was the food, which all of the guests really enjoyed! Particularly the Pakora which tasted amazing Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options available! Dietary restrictions: Menu is Nut free and also mostly Gluten Free as well, so its something many people can enjoy.

I loved this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and kind. Our waitress Ankita and she was lovely. The food was amazing and I would definitely come back again. The prices were very reasonable. We also got complementary chai and their try is delicious. The butter Nan was fresh and melted in my mouth. I loved the lamb korma and the chicken goan. Due to my health issues, I have a service dog and they allowed her to come in. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

Ordered Dahi gol gappa and Amritsari Kulcha. Both tasted amazing. The seasoning was on point and the presentation was good too. They have recently started a lunch buffet which sounded like a good deal too. Will definitely try it soon.

We hired Zaika for catering services during my wedding week and wedding day. Each menu was different and very well put together by Lalit himself without repeating items during the week. The food was delicious! We did not hear one bad comment about it, instead guest kept commenting on how good everything was and our out-of-town guests were very impressed with the spread on the day of the wedding. Lalit went above and beyond and ensured everything went smoothly on the day of my events and was consistently in touch throughout the week for any changes we may have required. My family and I would highly recommend Zaika Taste of India for your catering needs - you will not be disappointed!

Good Indian food

We ordered food for guests. when we went there to pick they made wrong food. We asked for butter paneer and they made butter chicken. Then they asked to wait 20-25 min to prepare butter paneer. When we got home, I opened the package to serve my guests We found Mattar(peas) paneer not Butter paneer. Which was not even tasty. I make better than them. Too much oil and it leaked everywhere in my car. Double loss. Would never go back

I joined a party last week outside and the food was served there by zaika. The food was top notch and the catering staff was doing superb job . Setup is super duper.

My niece sweet 16th birthday was celebrated here. Everyone praised Zaikas service and food quality. The atmosphere was great and their recommendation of A1 Decor was also bang on. I will highly recommend their main hall for hosting any family events.

Last night I went to Zaika restaurant with my family.according my opinion it s the best restaurant in Abbotsford and also very fast and good service. I ordered vegetarian dinner it was full with flavours and the best thing I like their mix vegetables dish ,bcoz one month ago we went Surry, I ordered mix vegetables dish but we didn t not like . Next time instead going to Surry for lunch or dinner, I will prefer to go this restaurant. Bestest food ever

We hosted an event at their Mission Banquet Hall yesterday. Everyone praised Zaikas service and food quality. The atmosphere was great and their recommendation of A1 Decor was also bang on. I will highly recommend their main hall for hosting any family or corporate events. Everyone was very down to earth from Navdeep to the owner and the service staff. Navdeep helped us through the booking process and was super nice to work with. She made it a breeze to make the menu selection and book the services. Thanks to her and Lalit for making this event a very successful one. Manpreet, the bar tender was also awesome. She served all the specialty cocktails and mocktails, no issues. We will definitely be hosting here again in the future.

Had a wonderful time last night. Server was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Food was incredible, especially the garlic naan!!

I will never order from this place again, the staff is so non cooperative they served me wrong order I ordered from uber and they said to me they will compensate but they didn t. I am regular customer and such behaviour is so non acceptable.

We had the pleasure of having Lalit and his team at Zaika cater our entire wedding in April this year. I can honestly say Lalit went above and beyond and put so much care and effort into everything he did. All of our guests were SO impressed by the quality of food, service and efforts that went into catering our events. My husband and I both had our Maiyaan & Jaggo parties at their Banquet Hall in Mission. Beautiful venue, amazing DJ, killer bar and service! The process was simple, easy and effortless. I was contacted for their in house decorations and the team did everything and went above and beyond our expectations! The appetizers were absolutely amazing. One request was gole gappe and did they deliver! Everyone raved about the ambiance, food, bar and overall set up at the hall. My husbands Maiyaan & Jaggo, Lalit prepared a second menu (different than the night before) and all our family and guests had nothing but amazing things to say. The taste, different food variety down to the deserts was absolutely wonderful! Next we had catering at my parents house on two occasions. The first was my second maiyaan and choora night. The team prepared smash burgers (beef, veggie), they prepared some Italian dishes which were spot on! My favorite part was the tacos! My Mamma Jis from Indiana are major Mexican food fans - they were thrilled and so happy with the fact the tacos were good! Being Indian, its hard to get variety of food you are eating... but did Lalit and his team ever make this seem like such an easy task!! They killed it with the variety, taste and honestly, I am left speechless by the efforts and amazing work they did!! The team at Zaika killed it with changing up the menu for all of our events and we were very impressed and our guests tummys so very happy! They had the food truck going, everything was fresh as could be! The next even catered was our Wedding at the Gurdwara. Again, different menu, food and taste was amazing! Lalit even had coffee and ice cream brought in! The attention to detail was amazing. He had a stamp created for the coffee for out guests personalized with our names and wedding date - this meant SO much and was truly so special to us! There was pancakes, assorted breakfast items etc. Being a nervous bride not wanting to eat too much fried food - I was content with my pancakes and mango lassi :) Now, the Ice Cream - wow! I was not expecting that and honestly made everyones day. Last but not least, came the catering for the Doli. Lalit again KILLED it!! I came into the garage to see his team grilling lamb chops! The food again, was a massive hit with everyone who came to the house for the Doli. Men, women, kids, meat eaters, vegetarians, EVERYONE was catered to! Indian food, non indian food. Again we were thoroughly impressed! Lalit and the team at Zaika took extra care to cater for younger kids as well. Chicken strips, nuggets, french fries - all ages were happy with the food! My nephews can be picky eaters so the fact they ate and tasted everything - AMAZING! I cannot say enough good things about Lalit and his team at Zaika! Food was elevated, taste was amazing, service was top notch and I can say we, our families and even our guests were SO impressed with all the effort, detail and care that was put into catering all of our events. I have nothing but high praises for Lalit and the team at Zaika!! If you are ever thinking about where to go - I can honestly say Zaika can do it ALL!! You will not be disappointed! Noodles were not at all fresh...seemed like stale and not freshly made. Clearly it was reheated. The butter Naan ordered was also not well cooked. Worst part the staff was not even accomodating to the feedback. Went with super hunger but was disappointed with quality of food.

Last time I ordered tandoori roti and butter naan but it seems extremely burn and taste not as expected. And i am giving 1 for this food.

Zaika restaurant catered for a 40-person event I organized at the University of the Fraser Valley, and working with their team was excellent. The food exceeded my expectations, and everyone at the event thoroughly enjoyed it. Guests kept asking about the restaurant, and I was delighted to recommend Zaika every time. We had our sons 16th birthday party at their establishment and I m impressed with the superior customer service they had. Our event went smoothly, food was excellent and staff were so helpful and amazing with our requests. Lalit was kind, accommodating and very helpful. We would recommend him to anyone and everyone that would need to host an event! Dietary restrictions: For our event we hade a Gluten allergy to accommodate as well as a nut allergy. These requirements were dealt with properly. Very appreciative of this!

Disappointed with the service they provide to customer who order online. Its been couple of times i didnt got my order completed. Zaika Taste of India catered my 40th birthday party and I heard many rave reviews from my guests. Pick up was easy and food was packaged well for transportation. A lot of care went into each dish and it was all scrumptious. There was more than enough food for my guests. Thank you for your part in making my party stress-free and memorable!

One of the worst customer service ever. Three of my orders in a sequence had wrong or missing items in them. There is no single person I can talk to while connecting to the restraunt. I talk to 5 people every time, no one present to make a decision and they just mess up the order even more. At the same time, I am being portraid as the cause of their troubles. I would say to their staff gatherup, train your people, let them know how to answer a question, and how to escalate problems. If you are in a service business and you have such terrible management, then might as well hire a new team. One of the biggest names in abbotsford but I can t see any worth from them.

Below average food, we ordered Manchurian- 0/10- Sweet and soggy. Chicken Noodles- 0/10 smelled funky and bland. Chicken Tikka Masala- 5/10 Average tasting, chicken was hard as rock. Gol Gappe was decent but needed more flavour for the filling. Naans tasted like store brought. Will not recommend.

Best restaurant. Very friendly staff,great food and customer service.

She was so rude who took the order,she gave us the wrong order and ruined our birthday celebration,she missed our noodles and gave other things wrong what we didn t ordered

If there was an option to give more than 5 stars I would! We had an amazing experience with Zaika s Catering Service for my son s Birthday and Lohri event. It was top notch! Lalit made it very easy for us to navigate the menu and alleviated any extra stress associated with planning. The staff was wonderful to deal with - very organized, clean, pleasant, and communicated well. Many compliments were received regarding the food - it was very tasty and fresh! I would totally hire Zaika for my next events and recommend their services.

We had our daughter s quinceañera catered by Zaika, the food was delicious, the service and the staff were amazing. 10/10 recommend!!

Booked Banquet hall service was great ; all inclusive ; DJ , decoration , Food. Other than DJ everything was much appreciated. Do not recommend (DJ Pandher) service at all.

I want to thank Lalit and the team at Zaika Taste of India ( S. Fraser location) for making my husbands 40th Surprise Birthday Party so perfect. From the food, the DJ, bartender, to the two wonderful young ladies who were assigned to take care of everything that night...everything was just awesome. The venue itself was clean, cozy, and the perfect size for a small party of 60 people. Everyone loved the cute little bar setup and dance floor. And...the cost was very very reasonable. I was able to stay within my budget and still have everything I wanted. All were praising the food and venue (appies and dinner). The two female employees that were taking care of us were smiling the whole night and made sure every person had eaten before starting to clean up. They even helped us pack up and carry things to our cars at the end of the night. If I were forced to nit pick on on one thing....would be nice to have access to two bathrooms as there was only one. But one could easily just go around into the main restaurant to use that washroom. Nonetheless, it was a great night. Thanks once again team Zaika. We will be back.

We were absolutely thrilled with Zaika! Their delicious and varied menu, personalized service, and attentive staff made our special day even more exceptional. Every dish was exquisite, and they were more than accommodating to dietary restrictions and special requests. Their punctuality and flexibility were impeccable, and they offered fantastic value for the quality of service provided. Our guests are still talking about the fantastic food, and we couldnt have asked for a better catering partner.

I got all my events covered by Zaika , food was hands down the best . Servers were extremely polite and made sure all guests were welcomed . Lalit was amazing throughout , he made the menus and took everything in his hands . Everyone at the wedding loved the food , decor was amazing organized by zaika . Not even a single person had any complaints against the food .

Ordered food for my sons wedding for two occasions and both orders were just amazingly delicious! They did mess up with one appetizer though, instead of vegg pakora gave us paneer pakora.

Vegetarian options: Lots of different vegetarian options including paneer (cheese) and multiple veggie dishes Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options on buffet or menu. They are very careful with allergies

Food quality is acceptable but I am disappointed with cleanliness, table is not cleaned properly they feel sticky to hands and floor looks messy as well.

Fantastic Indian food at reasonable prices. The staff here are friendly and attentive. We usually take home but have had good experiences when dining in as well. This is a popular spot for the south Asian community as well likely due to the authenticity of the fare on offer.

We came around 9. After giving us water nobody attended us. After 20 minutes we went to front and asked for help. Very bad costumer service. Restaurant is full of food flies. Doesn t meet food safety standards.
