ABSOLUTELY WORST EXPERIENCE. I dined at the restaurant for dinner with friends. The red seats were really uncomfortable to start with but not that big an issue. We ordered chilli fish dry for appetizers and they gave us in gravy. When they got it changed, they gave us the same portion and took out the gravy, which made the fish soggy. They fried the previously marinated fish pakora and tossed in sauce and served it as chilli fish. Tasted absolutely disgusting. The chilli chicken was really good which is why I added a star in my review. The goat curry was a chef special but didn’t had any taste, was absolutely bland and the gravy was very runny. Would not recommend to anyone.
@ustaadg76indiancuisine Abbotsford, BC hands down the best food with even better views. Plane enthusiasts would love the settings of this restaurant. You could see the planes taxi and take off while having amazing Punjabi food. Not to forget the backdrop of Mt. Baker from the table. Great service, amazing staff, and fantastic overall vibes. We ordered Amritsari Paneer Kulcha, Aaloo pyaaz paratha, veggie thali, and a msngo lassi, all of which hit the spot. The kulcha itself was crispy and stuffed with a decent amount of paneer and masala, came with chole and daal, and not to mention a slice of butter on it melting away. Mango lassi was nice and not too sweet, which is the way i like. Onion Paratha was stuffed and flaky came with Daal and chutney as well. I'd definitely recommend this place and especially during sunset to take in the views and vibes along with excellent food and service.

The newest location with amazing views next to the airport and mountains. This was our third time in 3 days at ustaads and we were not disappointed!! The location is in the middle of nowhere but with beautiful views. The keema kulcha was delicious and comes with goat curry. The aloo paratha was good as well and comes with dal makhani and raita. Highly recommend this location!!
Visited Ustaad for dinner on Saturday, and really enjoyed our experience. The service was friendly and the food was great! The only suggestion I would give them is to source better shells for their gol goppas. Their gol goppa water is PERFECT, but there were holes/cracks in all the shells we go so it was hard properly filling them with the water. Ustaad is far better than the previous restaurants that have operated at this location. It’s a great spot where you can watch some plans landing and taking off. We will definitely return.
Started with Mango Lassi and Salted Lassi which were good in this heat. Got to try their Keema Naan with Goat Curry and Fish Pakora. They both were really good. Service was very nice and pleasant. Ambience frankly was okay. Unfortunately couldnt sit out due to heat. All in all it was good. Must try!
Had lunch here. It was 8 of us, we had a bunch of thalis. They gave us complimentary Mango Lassi as well. Thali was great, and location is very unique, right at Abbotsford airport. So there is lots of patio space and inside space too

We tried there Goat curry , chicken curry & malai kofta with garlic naan . I am a foodie i tried dozens of restaurants in surrey every restaurant have speciality but ustaad ji Abbotsford beat all of them coz everything we order is delicious with different flavors . So fresh like home .

This was the best butter chicken we ve ever had! We also order the goat curry and garlic naan and it was so delicious. We order everything family style to share. It was also a really a neat restaurant overlooking the airport. We came at night but intend to come back during the day time hours to get a table outside and watch the planes while we dine. We will be back for sure!! Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten allergy and did very well here! Most of the menu items are naturally gluten free and they ensure the naan is separate.

Worst run restaurant with great food. This place needs a manager to get on track. The waitresses could not care what is happening. They were busy in their own chit chat. Have to wait 20 mins before someone even gets to you. Absolute worst service!! Food

We were served VERY undercooked chicken and got food poisoning from it. The waiter said it was supposed to be like that but that can t be right. They refused to acknowledge they undercooked it. Do not come here. The chicken was pink and chewing. Disgusting.
We were a group of 4 people to enjoy dinner night and absolutely we had a great time here. We ordered. Dal punjabi malai kofta kadai paneer with butter naan laccha prantha dhai bhalla as main course and all were delicious. Server was attentive and nice ambiance.

we visited this place recently twice. Firstly we went for dinner and had chaap, kulcha, Mix Paratha, Veg Manchow with Papadam. Chaap stood out with exceptional taste and quantity worth the price. Staff was friendly. They have domes to sit outside however since we had not reserved, so couldnt enjoy that. Second time we picked up to munch before our return. We ordered pranthas and couple of other things. Dal makhani, additional to prantha, was not good.

Have been to numerous Indian restaurants in lower mainland but the food, environment and the service what would you get at the place that can only be at Ustaad G 76 at Abbotsford. Must visit if you love an Indian food.

We had aloo kulcha.it was very crispy and properly cooked.it was one of the best kulcha I have ever had.and the poppy seeds on the kulcha was new thing for me and i loved it.it was so yummy that I forgot to take pictures of food.
Lovely outdoor seating ... very attentive and good staff ... we tried fish tikka / noodles / fried rice/ thali and enjoyed everything.

A lot of renos needed. The place stinks like an abandoned building. The doors to enter sound like a haunted house from the 80s. Food is not up to the same level of other restaurants with Ustaad-G name tags. Over all, I wont go back again.

As a business owner/realtor I don t want to say bad things but service was way to slow. Even though the food came it was cold for some reason, the sahi paneer was stale and tasted like tomato paste from Costco. The red booths were dirty as if some other table ate before us and the servers didn t clean it. Overall would not recommend this place to anyone, specially with family.

Avoid it. India s Most Wanted is far better. We came here to try out new food, but it was below average. The food presentation was nonexistent, there was no cleanliness, and the restaurant smelled bad. The servers attire was not properly cleaned, and there was no service servers seemed unconfident. The food is overpriced for its taste. We made a mistake coming here. **Dont come and waste your money**

My todays experience is so bad. Highly disappointed due to the delay in service. I already ordered before reaching and was Informed that we were in a hurry. But still, they delivered very late. First, they serve tandoori fish which is pathetic. After that, the main course service is also not good. for every single thing we waited for so long. Because of that, I didnt enjoy my meal. I dont think I ever recommend it to anyone.
My experience was not good. The fish was cold. They took 20 mins to bring cutlery and took to long to bring food. Before heading there we already called them to make our food early cause we were in hurry but they still took too long. I don t recommend to go there .

I happened to have a meal here while waiting for a flight at the Abbotsford airport. The major positive for this restaurant was the customer service experience provided by Gurleen and Nansha, both were very attentive and mindful of the patrons needs. Keep up the good work. Second positive is the location, as its right by the airport, it provides a great view of planes taking off and landing to keep you entertained. Moving to the food, I ordered a masala chai and chole bathure, both were good. If you are in the area, then it is a must visit for the service, ambience, followed by the food.

Ordered cholay bhaturay, overpriced and not worth it. The service was good but the cholay were mixed with lentils which took away from the taste. Would not recommend.
