From start to finish, our server Madison was great. Drinks were great, you guys FINALLY brought ribeye steak in and that was great too. Always happy here

Make a reservation. Start there and youll be set. Good atmosphere, food is always good, staff is helpful and knowledgeable, good drink menu for alc and non. Food came out quickly on a Tues at lunch even though the place was pretty busy.

No Caeser salad (only something with kale?? Really??). No soup at all. Music waayyy too loud for absolutely no reason whatsoever. A hamburger with meat thinner than a slice of cheese. I would happily pay a bit more for a real piece of meat for a hamburger. Fries were good, like those. Host staff are pleasant. Only reason I came is because I was given a gift certificate. First time here. Last time here.

In the upscale casual sector Cactus Club is the best option in my opinion. Food is consistently good and the service is fast and flawless. I prefer to sit in the lounge, try to hit happy hour in the late afternoon for food and alcohol discounts. I am a lifelong Executive Chef, cookbook author, Gold medalist, been working in restaurants my entire life. Cactus club is doing everything right, Real food, consistent great flavors and a fun happening atmosphere. Keep up the good work.

We had a fabulous time as we celebrated my daughters 20th birthday. The food was delicious, I ordered the Dijon Salmon and my husband had the steak frites. My daughter got the seafood pasta, and her boyfriend enjoyed his cheddar bacon burger. While we waited we enjoyed a bellini and the spiked frapp. We will be returning to sample the rest of the menu!

Went for date night with my husband this past Friday night and our night was fantastic! We had the calamari for an appetizer, followed by the Chargrilled 12oz steak , my husband had the prime rib . So yummy! Food and drinks were great! But the best part of our night was definitely the service from our server Taylor. When she greeted us upon arrival, I joked with her when she said she would be taking care of us. I chuckled and said - well great, because we need alot of help HAHA. We sat in the lounge and she was super speedy , friendly and so happy! You can tell she loves her job. It was a very busy place and she handled it like a champ! Great job Taylor! You made our night

Every week, Madison N treats us with so much kindness, and she is absolutely fantastic. We come back every week for her!

Used to be my fav spot but it was my first visit at this location specifically. The first time I ve been disappointed at cactus club. I got the chicken teriyaki rice bowl, which I usually do and it was loaded with bean sprouts, cabbage, and green peas. There was only two pieces of broccoli and a few red peppers. The chicken was dry and it was loaded with yoghurt sauce. I ve never had the bowl like this and clearly they just jipped me and loaded the bowl with the cheapest veggies on the market. Horrible taste. Ate a quarter of it. Packed the rest and gave it away to the less fortunate on the street that were hungry. I d be surprised if they even ate it. Server was the least friendly server I ve had at Cactus. Being a business owner in the food industry myself it s very disappointing to get this type of service overall. Typically tip 25% but 18% was all she deserved. Next time, try to smile and have a conversation with your guests. Be friendly and not so stand offish. Better training needed here. Definitely won t be back at this location.

My husband and I eat here regularly. Always happy with the food and service. Well I am not sure what is going on, but obviously some changes have taken place. My husband got the Rigatoni Bolognese (as usual) $25 and I got the Truffle Parmesan Chicken which comes with Gnocchi $32. The service was great and the food was good as usual. But the expensive kicker is that both portions were half the size of what they usually are. They were never overly huge to start with, but come on they are now ridiculously small. And pasta isnt that expensive. I gave my husband my chicken cause he was so hungry after this tiny portion which usually fills him up. Had to leave there hungry and get something to eat elsewhere. Mentioned it to the server and she made some nonchalant comment that she knows it is really small. Unfortunately, we will not be going back to Cactus Club as we find the prices high to start with and if the portion sizes have been reduced, we cant afford to leave hungry and eat elsewhere. Sorry Cactus Club, but your unprecedented cuts have lost you a very loyal customer

I was blown away by the kindness and helpfulness shown during dinner here the other night. As someone with celiacs disease (can t have any traces of gluten) and a dairy allergy, I was super excited to learn about many safe options and even a gluten free fryer at this location. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about cross contamination and what was and wasn t safe for someone with what s considered a severe allergy to gluten and dairy and how to work around the menu. Matthew was incredible and took the time to explain everything and brought each meal over with a reminder it was safe (that was so awesome and unexpected) I couldn t rave enough and am excited to visit again soon! PS -the lemon grass noodle salad will change your world lol

Tried to call the Abbotford restaurant and got told that I cannot use my landline. They will text me to my cell phone wake up people some of us ONLY have a landline. Very rude way to conduct business. Not Abbotford fault corporate s fault. If I wanted further help I should press 4 I did this and got an abrupt goodbye I will still eat at the Abbotford location great staff- good food

The mushroom steak here was fantastic. It melted in my mouth and the sauce was very sweet, but it didnt take away from the flavor of the meat. I definitely want to go again in the future. This restaurant s mushroom stake was wonderful. It feels like melting in my mouth, and also sause was sweet but it didn t bother meat s taste

I love the vegan Mediterranean bowl with less kale.

My husband hates it here, while I love it. His gripe is that every time he orders a steak, he has to return it for not being done right. We haven t gone for years, but he went with his friend for a business meeting and had a great steak! He then was willing to bring me back. The steak was not great but we gave them another chance on the 26th. It started as a disaster! A medium well steak was brought out medium rare! Meagan, the manager came over and took the steak back. It came back about medium, and was sent back again. It came out perfect the third time. The steak was great and they would have gotten a 5 for food if the steak came out right the first time. Meagan s calm demeanor, her GREAT customer service and empathy turned a disaster into a nice meal. The worst is that I had my meal for half an hour before his was done right. In the end, we will come back only because Meagan is a gem and went above and beyond to make us happy.Also many thanks to Courtney for being a great server and doing a great job.

Went for Dinner last night. Ambience was good. Quite a wait but wasnt bad given the time and no reservation made. Got Ranch Water, Mojito and Jalapeno Margherita for starting drinks. They were really bad, full of ice and did not taste like what it should. Mojito was good. Then ordered Ceaser which were okay and Long Island which was again bad.. Drinks all in all were bad. For food we got Salmon Aburi Roll, Blackened Creole Chicken and Garden Burger and food was delicious. Unfortunately the service was okay. Had to wait at the front to pay. Its a mix of recommendation. Try at your own risk for drinks.

We stumbled upon this unexpected, fantastic restaurant in the city. It serves high-quality fusion food dishes, and our waitress was super nice and professional. We came in on the long weekend for dinner. We had a reservation and got seated right away. The hostess was able to make an accommodation as we did not like the high top tables and took us to a booth with no problems. The food tasted fantastic. They were so quick to get us all our food and drinks. The waitress Nadia was amazing. She was so sweet and attentive. She was super fast and made sure we had everything we needed and checked up on us multiple times. So great to have had her as our server.

Our waitress, Madison N. was exceptional and made our experience the best it could be!

We had a bad experience for our anniversary a few weeks ago where we reserved a table in the dining room a week ahead but when we arrived there were no tables so waited 20 mins and then were seated outside where it was 30 degrees. We had dinner but it was very uncomfortable. We got a gift card as an apology and tried to go last night but the same thing happened again. This time we also made reservations and waited at the bar for a table (restaurant looked 70% empty) and left after 30 minutes. I don t understand why you take reservations when you don t have any tables available. We have never not shown for a reservation and tip generously.

Apart from rude manager the place is amazing.

Our server Mike was really friendly, and enthusiastic of our day and took interest in how my hockey game went. He made my first hockey game at Yale memorable and even went through the trouble of getting me a cheesecake saying congratulations. I will be sure to return!

Cactus club does a great job of consistently having the same food no matter which location you visit. We sat on the patio on a recent visit and while the food was really good the road noise was truly unbearable. The windows were open and the constant trucks driving by made it hard to hear any conversation. Maybe the management can figure out something where the windows are closed but there s fan or something blowing instead. Vegetarian options: Tofu lettuce wraps

It was very nice food and honestly greatly service..but the prices are a bit crazy, if I maybe so blunt. Save up your money if you plan on going to any Cactus club. I dont think I would go back to any of the Cactus clubs. It was a nice experience but just a bit too expensive for us.

I ordered the Millionaires Cut for my husband and upgraded to the CAB filet steak and paid extra instead of the other option, the 12oz New York strip. This came to a total of $60. The menu does not state the size of the CAB filet. I assumed it would be either 8oz or 12oz like all the other steaks on the menu. When my husband picked up the order, at first he thought they had forgotten the steak, mistaking the steak for a baby potato! The steak measured 2 x 2! At the restaurant he asked about the size of the steak, and a staff member took a look at the order and informed him that the steak was 8oz, which it clearly wasnt. Since the steak was so miniscule, he ended up ordering the 12oz New York strip in addition to the CAB filet and waiting for that while the rest of our overpriced meal got cold. When we compared the Strip to the CAB filet, the filet was about 1/4 the size of the 12oz. Pictured below is the meal we received. To be fair, there was a container of shrimp included that is not pictured - we were too focused on the shockingly puny shrimp of a steak to get a picture of the actual shrimp For $60 this meal was an absolute rip off. The rest of the dishes we ordered were average at best. The only thing I will compliment Cactus Club for is the appropriate name chosen for this entree. It truly is the Millionaires Cut - the menu choice for people with money to burn on mediocre food We will definitely not be ordering from Cactus Club in the future.

Servers were all so friendly here, and very quick to seat and serve you. Would recommend making a reservation as it was quite full by the time we arrived at 5:30pm. Food was hot and very flavorful. I enjoyed a Salmon with Dijon, sushi, and the New York Cheesecake. Excellent way to spend the evening. Decor was nice and the entire ambience felt like you werent even in a bustling restaurant.

I m a HUGE cactus fan and even bigger fan of spaghetti portofino. As the time goes, this dish gets less tastier and that is exactly what happened here. It s like the sauce broke and I was served spaghetti in soup. The service was great, they replaced it right away but it just looked like they scooped out some soup. It s not meant to have a watery sauce, no sauce is to be visible actually, it s supposed to stick to the spaghetti to give it the savory taste it usually does. We were given food on the house but I will never order this dish again. It has been ruined for some time now and this was the last straw for sure. Otherwise, everything else was a 5. The food was just not good, at all.

Overall, the customer service was outstanding, and the product was exactly what I was looking for. I was so pleased with the service I received. Cactus Club is getting overpriced for what your getting for both food & drinks , $17 for a Wild Turkey Old Fashioned (plus taxes & tip = $22+) is outrageous, another $4+ if you want decent bourbon. Green curry bowl lacked flavor (especially fresh basil) & heat. Go for Happy Hour & specials if you want value for your $. Looking for something newer & better now...

Went here for a date night. Made reservations online which are normally a must at this location. I had the new chipotle tacos and they were delicious with just the right amount of heat. Wife had the staple Baja fish tacos which are always great. Service was quick and on point. If you re looking for a nice spot to go out for a date night look no further.

Ingenuine service and fake. You can tell its a customer service mask, as most corporate chain staff have to be fake and stick to the script. Just like how people ask How are you nobody cares it s more of a greeting. If you say anything other than good then you have messed up the simulation.

The filet was incredible. Chefs recommendation for a broccolini (whatever that is lol) substitute was perfect. The calamari was the best I have ever had - not that I got to eat much because my wife (previously a calamari-hater) ate most of it :) Classic margaritas were . Dessert was drool-worthy. And service was exceptional (our server, Seth, even inspired a chorus for a song: Nice Nice, Sethie (to the tune of Ice Ice Baby). Please pass our apologies on to Seth Cant wait to come back again for the Bacon and Cheddar burger!

I never go to cactus but thought I would give it a try, big mistake, that dish was over-priced and unsatisfactory. Server was really nice and did an awesome job. But, my word, I ordered the rigatoni bolognese for $25 before tax / tip. I was blown away when they brought the dish and there was like 0.75 pieces of pasta total, with 0.01 grams of beef sprinkled over top, and a pinch of cheese. They didnt bother to give me a full slice of garlic bread, i was given two quarters of garlic bread. I finished my food in 3 minutes. If i was going to some fine dining restaurant and the food tasted heavenly regardless of the laughable portion size, fine that works for me. But this tasted like something i would make when I was 10 years old first learning to cook pasta. Not terrible, but definitely coulda whipped this up for $1.50 in 5 minutes at home working with half of a braincell after polishing off a few bong rips and a couple beers. Tipped my server well because it isnt her fault the food was brutal, she was really cool and service was great. Guess Ill stick to The Keg, or Earls. Love those places, clearly Cactus Club cant compare in terms of value and taste. I was so unsatisfied with my rigatoni, that I went to the store the next day and bought a bunch of ingredients to make my own rigatoni. My rigatoni is absolutely fire. Heres the recipe if you guys want to figure out something better than that abomination you served me (see second picture for my rigatoni): Pink sauce Rigatoni with clams and basa fish 340g clams 540g basa fillet Bunch of mushrooms 750g rigatoni 42g Alfredo sauce mix 1 jar Roasted garlic marinara sauce Hunk of butter Big hunk of havarti cheese Italian seasoning Parsley Minced onion Oregano Cook the basa and clam together with 2 caps of lime juice and olive oil Cook the pasta Cook everything else together in a pot

My husband and I had an amazing lunch, our server Tina was Outstanding! We are both retired and enjoy trying new places to eat, this was a fantastic surprise. The atmosphere was great with the music not overbearing, noise level was perfect, we had the Baja Fish Tacos with fries,and the blackened Cajun Chicken Burger, both were perfect! I had a Ceaser and Tina was amazing explaining the spices were in a premade form , so we had it on the side and it was nice to control the amount of spice, thanks again Tina we really enjoyed it and definitely will recommend and return.

Nadia was our server and was fantastic. Not too intrusive, but despite a busy night, was great at stopping to check and bring whatever we needed. Gave great recommendations for food and drinks. Made this a great birthday night! Dietary restrictions: Our server was very knowledgeable about a sesame allergy at our table and did great due diligence to ensure there were no exposures.

Very good food. A message to the restaurant manager. In my personal opinion, I would drop the calamari appetizer or revamp the menu item. Not the best out there. Also, main menu might need some extra choices. Not to much to chose from. Otherwise, very good place to go for dinner

Because we eat less Therefore, we chose happy hour time (14-17) to visit Choose semi-outdoor seating The breeze is gentle and the scenery is beautiful The food portions are smaller and of course the prices are cheaper than usual. Just right for us We ordered the steak medium rare. It tasted very tender. The spaghetti bolognese is full of flavor and has a lot of meat. It s very satisfying. The cocktail and drink section is also perfect Overall highly recommended

Have been here a few times in the past, just went back for the first time in about 3 years. Service was good - the server we had was friendly, genuine and attentive. The food? Underwhelming. We started with the avocado dip which was pretty bland. It kind of tasted like....whipped avocado with a hint of additional flavour. Some amateur advice? Soak the additional ingredients for the dip (especially the tomato) in lime juice and for the love of God find the salt. 2/10. I had the Tuna Poke bowl. It wasnt bad, but it wasnt really good. The tuna was of mediocre quality, it was a bit stringy and didnt taste particularly fresh. Other ingredients were decent. 6/10. My wife had the Lemongrass Noodle Salad. The portion was a bit insulting for the price. Rice noodles are extremely cheap. It looked like it was being treated as an expensive ingredient to be used sparingly. Flavor wise she mostly enjoyed it. 7/10 to be fair on the flavor, minus 3 for failing on the portion size....4/10 and do not order until they bulk it up a bit. Overall, I wont be considering this place for any future visits. My guess is this is more of a kitchen issue over a Cactus Club issue, and it might even be isolated to specific days. But for the price I wont take that chance.

I always enjoy my time at Cactus Club Abbotsford. Good Atmosphere, great food and Sammie behind the bar is an absolute gem of an employee! Great service from her everytime. She always has a smile, makes sure youre well taken care of, as well as she has such a bright and positive personality. Always a positive experience for me.

Twice they completely messed up my burger order. Both times it ruined my family s meal/vibe. The second time, they served me a beef burger after I asked for the impossible patty. It looked different so I asked them to check again with the kitchen that it really was an impossible patty. They said it absolutely was. I just compared again with an impossible from somewhere else, and it absolutely was a beef burger that they served, no question about it. The shape was different, the texture was different, the taste was different.

My wife and I are big fans of Cactus Club food and service. For the first time ever, tonight one of our meals arrived insufficiently hot to enjoy. I politely asked our terrific server, Aidan D., that the meal be returned to the (super busy) kitchen just to be reheated. Within two minutes a manager was at our table offering to replace the meal entirely with a fresh meal, while suggesting we take home the meal that was not the correct temperature. She insisted. We were very grateful. Then, as if that generous response were not enough, when it came time to pay, the subject meal was not on the bill. We insisted on paying but were assured Cactus Club were observing their policy. We were treated with such respect. Thank you Cactus Club, Aiden, and your gracious manager.

It was my first time ordering take out food from cactus club yesterday . I dropped my expectations so badly when i found tiny hair part in burger that I ordered . Not only this , food was not even warm and fries were cold too . I am not happy with food at all .

Came in for our 7th anniversary and Mikey was our server and he was excellent. Thanks again for an awesome night.

Food was great, but the service was worst, no one pay attention to us, firstly they forgot our dessert, which was fine, and when we remind server, they forgot again and grab us a bill, we remind her again, and than after 15 mins wait we got our dessert. And than again waiting for someone to get us our bill, no one shows up at all, than we go to the counter and it again take them 15 mins to find the server and the manager finally gave us bill. Never coming back again. Worst service ever.

I had such a great experience at this cactus with my friends. Our server lauren was very attentive and kind to us in the midst of a busy hour. The food was properly prepared, seasoned and plated. I highly recommend visiting this location

Loved this place! We had to wait on a Saturday around dinner time, but we were placed at the bar with access to drinks while we waited for our table. I recently tried the beef tenderloin at Cactus s club and it was an unforgettable experience. The beef was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, incredibly tender, and juicy. The flavor was outstanding, with a nice char on the outside adding to the overall deliciousness. It was served with a side of Mash potatoes,which complemented the beef perfectly. The portion size was generous, making it a satisfying meal. The presentation was also beautiful, showing attention to detail. The service at cactus s club was impeccable, adding to the overall dining pleasure. I highly recommend trying the beef tenderloin at cactus s club for a truly delightful dining experience.

First time to this Cactus Club and they didn t disappoint! Raincoast Greens was a great late evening meal after a long drive from the Okanagan. Nice late night cocktail options and a decent wine list.

Cactus Club was fantastic! Great service. Friendly & very helpful staff. They are well organized & follow all COVID protocols. And the food was soooo delicious! Steak was perfect. Mashed potatoes are outstanding. The chicken teriyaki rice bowl was very flavorful & fresh. Happy Hour prices are fantastic. Well done! All around a great experience. Update (May 19, 2024): Went for our anniversary dinner. Such a great experience. The server, the food ... everything was outstanding.

This location, the service is always good. Never had any complaints yet. What I noticed that when it comes to the food, its not always served just right or fresh. Sometimes the burgers come out cold or the burger is warm and fries are cold. I was there just yesterday and I updated my fries to dirty fries for 2.75 and the seasoning wasnt mixed well. As you notice below the pic its almost on one side. I believe the kitchen needs to pick up their game. Customers are buying quite the price. They should understand that. Servers cant do much when the cooks are doing a poor job some days. Also I had asked to add a pickle in my burger which I also got charged 0.50 cents which is fine but wished the server advised me of any extra charges. I didnt see a pickle in my burger so I asked the food runner to get me one. I get it that it gets busier but then the manager needs to understand that he or she should hire more staff to the team. What makes a good restaurant and run well? Good warm food and gpod service. I still like cactus club and still one of my favorite restaurant to eat at. I will continue coming just wanted to make sure this location knows whats happening. Im sure other customers had the same experience as me before. Please dont serve food cold and sloppy. We are paying for the price to eat here.

Went there to have some drinks i had my id on me they never served me liquor cause i don t have 2 peices of ID s and im 27 years old. WOW i asked the server to have a look of the id in phonr she said she can t help me.

Our server Christian was amazing! Very friendly, welcoming and attentive. He knew the menu very well and made great recommendations. Its worth coming to this location even though I live in Langley!

Our experience with the server was great, however at the table beside us was two dogs. Physically in the arms of the people beside us. Super unsanitary and honestly, quite odd. I guess they were emotional support dogs, but I really feel like it should have been handled differently.

This restaurant is good when dining in, but every single time my family orders take out from here, they always get something in the order wrong. It is pretty frustrating to bring your food home and find out it was made wrong, especially when it has happened countless times before. Tonight, I got the pesto chicken quesadilla but there was about 4 times as much pesto as it normally would have which was unexpected and very unappealing. If I didnt like their food so much I would stop ordering from them all together.
