Went in for fish and chip on Tuesday.the food and service were excellent.had 3 pieces fish and frys $12 fair price. Fresh and hot. Back at streets fish taco is the best in town. Had half price burrito Saturday vary good awesome price will be returning. Walls are getting disgusting does no one clean here. Last 2 times i was there the food made me sick. To many bathrooms visits had a smash burger and a couple days later had 2 fish tacos. Gave me the shits i think the sauce is being left out to long. I see its no kept cooled. Will be staying a way for some time to come.

I m not sure what happened, but I was not happy with my experience here today. The cost has gone up considerably and they don t accept the loyalty card anymore and the service was poor. Super disappointed because I used to love coming here.

Ordered a large buffalo chicken poutine. Has about 1 chicken wing worth of meat on it. Lots of fries and gravy, mediocre amount of cheese curds. Seems like everytime i go to streets the portions of whatbyou want go down and the cheap filler goes up. Probably my last trip Well i tried it again. Same thing, large buffalo chicken poutine. Less chicken than last time, 14 pieces total. Lots of fries and gravy, very little cheese curds. For $14 this is definitely the last time. Too bad, this place was absolutely great when they opened, just less and less of the good stuff and more of the cheap fillers.

The Baja taco was excellent. The gochugang chicken taco was okay. The poke taco tasted like a wet dog smells. I couldnt finish it. The classic poutine could have used more cheese curds, but the flavor was good.

Disgusting food. My boyfriends street roll was soaked in grease. And my fish taco was so covered with Chipotle that it was all I could taste. Their pop machine says hold 5 sec for ice, but it straight up isnt working. This place is hella ghetto. Will never eat here again.

Possibly one of the best burger and fries in town. Not bad for an $11 burger (Add $7 to make it a combo) now... if you want my opinion... if they could make the burger $8 anytime and have the $7 top up for a combi giving ppl the chance to have a $15 double burger with cheese and fries and a drink.... game changer!!! If they offered this combo for $15 it would outsell EVERY other burger joint!! The tacos are killer good as well. Gravy could use a little flavour as its a tad lackluster but over all... great place to eat. Two thumbs way up!

I had the Nashville chicken sandwich. it was very soggy with sauce. Made my stomach a little bit upset because it was just so saucy. I would not order it again or return. I would also echo another posters response in saying there is no option for Garbage and so Garbage ends up getting mixed in with compost and recycling, which leads me to believe it all ends up in the garbage.

I got a jerk chicken bowl and half of the rice was uncooked. The rest of the bowl including the chicken was bland. I can only say their tacos are decent, but even theyre overpriced.

I love to eat here because the ambience is amazing and also they have different options to eat. The food is really good I know it s expensive but it s worth it to spend money here because the food is really fresh and they make in front of us. I love to go there again and again

I just took a trip to Mexico without getting on a plane or renewing my passport. I decided to try the Baja fish taco, pulled beef, buffalo chicken, and the mango shrimp. WOW!!! these were all fantastic and I devoured all 4 of them on the spot. The food was made fresh (just like hanging out on a busy Mexico street) but just a quick drive from home. I will return for sure and hit up some poutine.

The food was great. No complaints. Their atmosphere was OK. I was just very disappointed in their attempt to be concerned about the environment. The only options were for compost or recycling, but it was very clear that some of the stuff was garbage, When I asked the staff, she said just throw it all in recycling because they would sort it later which we all know it s not true. Ketchup packets and tartar sauce packets cannot be recycled unless they ve been cleaned. It was unfortunate that they didn t have an option for garbage so that it wouldn t contaminate the recyclables.

Food was okay but they are charging 16 dollars for one regular sized burrito. Not worth it at all. Go somewhere else.

Usually pretty decent, however I recently ordered the Buffalo Chicken Poutine and it was swimming in sauce. Way too much ranch and buffalo sauce. Its a good thing I got the gravy on the side as it would have been more of a soup than a poutine. Consistency would go a long way. Also, their prices on the menu are not accurate and I paid $4 for a Snapple.

Its alright. Expensive for what you get. Some interesting menu options. Restaurant is a bit dirty, staff seem like theyd rather be anywhere else.

Ordered the fish burrito combo. It was filling and had all the right flavor profiles, good blend of rice, beans, protein, veggies and sauce. The fries were made fresh too so expect a little bit of a wait. Price felt a little too high but I feel like its a good meal to reward yourself with (maybe like a big work out). Will try out the mango shrimp next time The guys at the counter were friendly and patient with the ordering, well done. Didnt bother eating inside, felt kind of gloomy and awkward.

Food was awesome. Ordered with skip the dishes.. either they forgot to pickup our drinks or Streats forgot to give them our drinks but we did not have anything to wash the delicious food down with. No only 3 stars from us.

Saw an ad for one of their meals, looked really good, went in the next day to order it and was informed it wasn t available yet like the ad said. Went back the next day and ordered it but was informed that it could not be as a to go order. What type of establishment only has certain intentions that are allowed to be ordered as take out. Very frustrating.

Was in abby for my daughters basketball provoncial tournament and we were looking for a local place to eat and i canced upon this place..my daughter had the mexican poutine and i had the taco combo which comes with a lil side poutine..the food was awesome,nice portions and great quality!! The fish and pork tacos were amazing and the mexican poutine was a meal on its own..the service was great,and the staff were very welcoming with huge smiles,i brought home a carnitas burrito for my son and he said it was better than m o burrito! The prices are great especially with todays inflation,trust me..will be back whenever im in abby!

Tonight I arrived 10 mins before closing and when I asked the young gentleman if I could still order, without hesitation he said absolutely. He was kind, polite and made me an amazing meal. I wish I could remember his name but I want to say thank you for your service, for that reason alone I will be returning but the tacos and poutine were a delicious bonus.

Visited StrEats for lunch a few weeks ago and thought it was okay. Fish taco was pretty good, and the bowl I had was also tasty. Service was friendly and pretty quick too. The food just wasn t spectacular.

This place is amazing! Always exceeding my expectations! Its always clean and the staff are always friendly, particularly Jahz, she is always smiling and works with great vibes! They serve delicious meals and loaded too, doesnt cheap out! Im always satisfied and comes back everytime! Thanks to the hard working staff, you all rock!

Best tacos

Would love to leave a review but me and six other separate clients all walked up to try for the first time around 11:15am only to realized they don t open till Noon on a Monday. So all three couples took their business to the surrounding shops that were open.

Ordered 8 tacos over the phone but unfortunately received only 7. The server said that the tacos were on sale but got charged regular price (full price) for 8 tacos when i went to pick them up. Bunch of liars . The tacos were cold. Felt like they were refrigerated . Don t recommend this place to anyone.

This is a hidden little gem. Go here for a delicious healthy lunch. The staff are outstanding (: they asked my likes and gave recommendations which I followed and was so happy. You can hear them preparing the dishes fresh. The taco is a satisfying explosion in your mouth of seasoned beef, fresh veggies and a great salsa, I had the beef taco, poutine and a drink. Let me tell you, I normally do not ever finish my poutine, but they have a correct balance of cheese curds to gravy. Iam so thankful they did not drown this with gravy, so many others do this. Well not these lovely ladies. They know what theyre doing!! Go here you wont be disappointed, and affordable I say its cheaper than a fast food combo. Chef Bess Bess

Have to change my review after this experience. From 5 stars to none. The two women I have never seen there before were completely rude. They seemed like they didnt want to be there, nor did they want to serve us. They disnt greet us, or aknowledge us. We paid over $15 for the guten tag dog and it didnt even come with sauerkraut, the bun was stale and the hot dog was dry. I went to tell the workers and they didnt wven say anything. They just gave me a dirty look. Also one of them had a child hanging out wile they worked. I used to come to this place regularly and was greeted by friendly staff, and a consistent meal. However that clearly has changed and i wont be coming back. I paid close to $40 for a terrible experience and wish I could have money back. I cant believe how rude they were for no reason. Dont go there unless you want terrible food and to be treated terribly.

The best poutine in town. A regular size can feed 2 people. All for under $8.00 that is the best value for authentic poutine anywhere in Abbotsford. Go, eat, save money, be happy.

Ordered for the 1st time from Skip the Dishes. The food tasted good, but I wasnt impressed at all with the value for money. One single small taco for $6.25? $5.00 is reasonable but no more than that. I realize food costs are on the rise, but this business is making a fair sized profit. Furthermore, its Abbotsford, not downtown Vancouver where only the rich can afford to live and so therefore pay more at restaurants. With Abbotsford demographic, I should think good value for fair portion size will yield higher return business and satisfaction.

I had a fish taco, grilled taco, and pulled pork taco. My favorite and only one Id come back for was the fish taco! It was great. However, my friend had the lemongrass chicken bowl, and that was incredibly delicious! I really regretted not getting the same or the lemongrass chicken taco at least! Definitely recommend this place. Although the grilled chicken and pulled pork were good, they did not show stoppers like the lemon grass chicken. The fish taco was pretty good but I can think of 3 others I had that were better. The aoli sauce was very tasty and went well with the fish.

Usually this place is amazing and I ordered take out for my dad and I, but I was so disappointed and frustrated to the point that we will not be going back there. Ordered two fish and chips for pick up, they brought it out to our car and we went home. Found out there that they forgot half the order and the one we did get was undercooked and soggy. When we called for a refund they refused to put it back on our Visa and after promising to call us back (they didnt) my dad had to drive back to the store to get CASH back. Really disappointed...

Not worth the money. Got Buffalo chicken and baja tacos. $12 for garbage, would have rather eaten the $10 bill. Would ve tasted better.

Small menu, but what they do have is good, it is a funky fusion of Mexican, Jamaican, and Canadian that just works, the young ladies behind the counter did mess up my order but I caught it because I could have an allergic reaction and they fixed it. The only thing stopping 5 stars is that fact, that if I didnt catch it, it would have been a bigger issue.

The food is slightly overpriced for what it is (street truck food). It is pretty good when done correctly; unfortunately this location seems to have a few staff members that just dont care. They frequently put too much sauce in the tacos or burritos (burrito soup anyone?), Ive had orders where the chicken is under-cooked, and usually the content ratio is off (I once got a chicken burrito with no chicken and about a tablespoon of rice). When they get it right, the food is good, but there is a 50/50 shot at this location that you are going to get food prepared by someone who just doesnt care and messes it up. The managers need to pay more attention to their staff. As a result of all of the cases of sloppy preperation, Ive stopped coming here.

Solid experience. Staff was friendly and the place was nice a quiet. We had the Jamaican here bowl - very good but a bit light on the jersey seasoning. Enjoyed it with a cold Corona which they happily provided limes for. Quick service. We almost didnt notice our food was ready and waiting for us. I will be happy to go back and try something new!

The food here is hit or miss. The staff needs to be trained to be more consistent in how they prepare the food. When the food is prepared right it is great but it seems to be below average most of the time. The pricing is also too much for what you are getting which is basically something youd find in a food truck and not a proper restaurant.

I ordered the veggie burrito, it had zero flavour, the tofu was not seasoned at all, and I m pretty sure they used the wrong sauce, so gross, took like two bites. Yuck, won t be back.

Great food, and fantastic service, a fresh breath from fast food

Got a delivery and it was cold. That could have been the courier s fault, but when I opened up my cold buffalo chicken poutine, there was a plastic fork tine in the sauce! That shows me there is a lack of concern for the food quality and it probably wasn t the courier that got my food cold either. Awful first experience with this place. Courier refunded that item and I will not be reordering.

Had a couple bad experiences here involving the staff and the menu. Tried to work it out with them but it was just too painful. The owner seemed kind when I met him once and to be honest all of the problems happened when he was not there... not sure how else to express it but I was not very happy
