Im sorry I have to write this review because I absolutely love Firehouse Subs and what they are about. However, today was my 4th visit to this particular location, and the staff problems have been RIDICULOUS every single visit. None of the front line staff can understand orders placed in English, if you ask for anything different (IE no onions) the order is never correct, if you ask questions they just stare at you clearly not understanding what you are saying. Today we waited almost 20 minutes for our two sandwiches, when I finally went up to the counter to inquire, the girl looks around and says oh here they are. They had been made, ready, and just sitting there for at least 10 minutes, but the staff didnt think bringing them out or calling my name to come get them was important. So by this time both sandwiches (ordered hot) were cold. Absolutely unacceptable. Im so sorry that I now have to drive to Mission for Firehouse because at least their employees can understand me and converse about the menu and anything else pertaining to our dining experience. Ownership/Franchisee, please fix this vast problem.

BUYER BEWARE! Made an online order and it didnt finalize to the site but my card still got charged. Contacted the site immediately and they said dont worry, the charge will get dropped off your card. Its been almost a month later with multiple attempts at customer service with no resolution. They refuse to give get me a refund for an order I never received. Absolutely ridiculous! Not a great way to do business.

This place is peak subs

Foods good, but theborder taking process needs to improve. Waiting for food is normal, waiting to order food is strange.

Well its a good thing I showed up early. I was thinking Id be sitting there for 25 min waiting for my meal & had nothing else to do, so I decided Id go check out new restaurant, only to discover my bag was already sitting there on pickup up shelf 25 MINUTES before scheduled pickup time. Theres a reason we put a specific time for pickup. This is why the sandwich was dry & cold, im sure. Had I waited until actual pickup time to go in, that would have been an additional 20 min my meal would have sat there. Come on!! This is just the beginning! Get home & sub thats not supposed to have mayonnaise on it, has mayonnaise on it (NOW I CANT EAT IT) Ham is missing, only turkey on bread with mayo & no mustard. Not to mention, it was cold because they didnt even warm it up & bread is dry. This is certainly not the quality Firehouse Sub I have eaten in the past. So dissatisfied. I even drove 20 min to get this meal. Tried calling store directly to address issue, no one answers

Tried to order 2 subs an guy behind counter seemed like he didnt understand English,,got half my order ,,,then he got frustrated as I couldnt understand him either so he just walked away an a girl came out very friendly seemed to understand English better but had trouble understanding her,,,,,any way I tried to order the premium roast beef sub but was told they didnt have that one an I could order a turkey an roast beef sub???? Make any sense to you?? The roast beef sub is just roast beef without the frigging turkey!! Go figure eh,,,,,,Ill stick with Quiznos,,,,,,this was 3:00 pm sun June 22,,,really it was kind of a gong show trying to understand each other....

Foods pretty good, albeit slightly overpriced imo. Tried asking questions about the menu, staff at the till had trouble grasping the words meaning. Was very quiet (i have hearing issues so this might not be a problem for all) and unable to tell me which subs were spicy or if i could add/remove items. Couldnt figure out how to spell my name for the order and couldnt pronounce most of the names being called out for orders. Clear communication is key in customer service and i dont think they have this down yet. Been twice, foods been good both times but service/communication hasnt been. Ill try it again, hopefully service will have improved.

Their sandwiches are amazing. Ive tried practically all of them, and I adore them all. But Im not so sure this time. I went yesterday; it was a hot day, and they didnt even have air conditioning. The person over the counter was likewise sweating. I asked him if he had AC, and he answered no. The concern is whether they are making our sandwiches under the same sweaty conditions. That seems unsanitary. I was planning to dine in, but instead I took my order and ate in my car, which I did not want to do. Due to the humid atmosphere it the store, only two dine-in customers were present, while the rest took their food to go.

We ordered two party platters and two salads. They didn t pay attention to our order. They were made the day before all the salad on the sandwiches was brown. We asked for tomatoes and pickles on the side. Tomatoes where on all the subs our lady picking them up noticed this and they picked them all off and rewrapped. All the sandwiches were soggy with the weirdest day old bread . And they forgot the pickles. Sucks because when the franchise people where there the quality was good and now they left and the owners took over the quality tanked so gross

I called a few days ago for a catered lunch to be picked up today. When I got there the lady who greeted me said that they lost the details of my original order and hadn t made any of the salads but they made up what they thought they had remembered. I retold her my order and was surprised as they had taken down my name and number a few days ago.i did confirm that I originally requested no tomatoes on any of the sandwiches and they said they re already made but we will quickly remove all the tomatoes from the sandwiches and rewrap them I waited over 30 minutes for them to make corrections and complete my order. When I brought my order to my event they had forgotten the pickles, the lettuce was brown and unfortunately the sandwiches didn t look as fresh and the bread was a bit soggy. They did apologize when I left. I m disappointed as I paid over $200.00, how did they loose my number, most of my order details but remember my name? When this location opened up 2 months ago the service and quality was wonderful. What Happened???

Subs were good, fresh. Maybe a bit small for the price. Better than other sandwich places around town. Would eat here again.

Let me say I love the concept. Staff were lovely people. 10/10 for staff. However - Tables were dirty, and did not see anyone cleaning them. Sandwich was stupidly huge, I could only eat about a third of it. Meat on everything, there is no need to put meat on a salad. I asked for corned beef and got ham. The worst part was ordering a sugar free drink and getting a regular soft drink with a regular amount of sugar. As a diabetic, I was not amused. Better management is needed.

Heard this place so I had to come and try. Me and my wife got the veggie sub and the meatball sub. Both were pretty tasty, and nothing to complain about, I would say the sandwiches are like an upscale subway. It was awesome! Pricing for the food was reasonable you get a pretty large portion. Will definitely come back.

The ambience is great. The meat was thinly sliced, the toppings were just right and I particularly enjoyed the pickle. The employees were sincere and very amicable. The service was prompt and the flavors were excellent. Overall the restaurant is super clean. I would choose this place over subway any day. The menu had everything for varied taste buds for all ages. Highly recommend this place.

Ordered a salad, would not recommend. Ingredients were soggy and the salad had brown lettuce mixed in. Small portion of meat. Salad dressing tasted like bottled. Very overpriced as well.

This was me and my son s second time since opening. Ordered my son honey ham and cheese only, no sauce or veggies. Specified twice. We sit down, food comes. Sons has mayo on it. I take back to counter and they tell me it steamed cheese and not sauce. I tasted for myself and it was mayo, not cheese. They finally make new one and miraculously, the steamed cheese did not look or taste like mayo. Poor customer service, should have owned up to her mistake and made new from the beginning.

Me and my brother came here for the first time today. We can happily say that we will never return to a subway ever again. I had the brisket hat trick and it was amazing, the sauce, the coleslaw, and the brisket were all top notch. The bread brings it all together to create an otherworldly sub. My brother had the New York steamer and he said it was amazing. Staff were friendly, and the restaurant itself has a nice theme and is clean. Cool soda machine too. 10/10 I will be returning

Can be a bit of a wait to get your food as it seems pretty busy but well worth it. Huge, delicious sandwiches. Bring an appetite. Im a big dude who can pack it away and I could barely finish my sandwich. Was stuffed after.

First off I ve been here A LOT since it has opened in Abby. Up until now would be 5 stars but today I ordered a large New York steamer and unfortunately was told they were out of white bread in large . I will never understand a restaurant being out of what they sell. Such as the bread the sub is placed on. Now I had to order the medium which I guess is fine but I only received pastrami on it with mayo there was no corned beef brisket , no mustard and no Italian dressing Plus bun was wet in one corner and was soggy. I simply didn t get what I payed for unfortunately. I love this place so much but that was a huge let down and truly hope that things at this firehouse subs aren t starting to slide this early in the game. Thanks

Really good subs. There is so much meat on every sandwich. The bread is good and soft, the meat is warm, the cheese is melted. This place is if Subway wanted to be more like Quiznos, or Quiznos that puts 10x meat on every sandwich and has more choice on toppings. So dont compare it to those two places, Firehouse is on its own level.

We ordered from skip, Firehouse didnt have an ingredient on one of the sandwiches so we had to reorder. An hour later the order arrived with my original pre-made order it was soggy and the wrapping paper was stuck to it, couldnt it. Firehouse was my favorite until this.

Tried Firehouse for the first time and I can t say I was overly excited. I was really looking forward to a sandwich and soup. But I was told this location only has chili (app says differently) first let down. Then I tried to order the cherry limeade displayed on their board. To which I was told their machines were down,second let down. I ordered the turkey bacon ranch, it was ok. I actually had to take some of the sandwich meat off as it was just too much of a stack. Was it bad? No. Was it amazing that I would tell people to try it? No. I definitely will stick with Quiznos across the parking lot.

The brisket and cheddar sub is amazing. At roughly 1:10PM on March 23 a female employee was taking a break in the dining area watching a TV show loudly on speakerphone on her cellphone, which was kind of rude and ruined the atmosphere. I was going to eat in, but just left because I didnt enjoy the background sounds. The manager should have told her to put in ear phones or turn it off. I hope the manager reads this.

I had given up on eating subs as all the major sub chains seem to be garbage with cheap ingredients... until now that is.... wow this place is amazing!! The ingredients are fresh and they definitely do not cheap out... I will definitely be coming back solid 5 stars from me!!!

Obviously the portions are smaller than the larger food chains (Subway, Quiznos) but the quality and flavour knocks every other sub out of the park. I recommend the corned beef brisket fully involved!!

Went on opening day. Asked for a sub with no mayo but just mustard. Came hope to find a sub with no mustard and dry. Decided to give them one more try today. Again, asked for just mustard and checked it in my car - it was dry. Went back in to the store and asked for them to put mustard on it. They gave me 2 packets. I went home, put on the first packet and it was mayo. I am sorry but this is just bad. If I am just unlucky fine. But if this is a pattern they will not be in business very long. I should also add it is quite pricey. It is up to you to decide if the sub is worth it compared to competitors.

My husband and I went to your new Abbotsford location for the first time with great anticipation. Relatively clean for a Saturday afternoon. The cashier gentleman wasnt to sure on your menu items and just winged it. That being said, our subs werent what was described and very very dry and lacked flavor in all areas. It was more bread then anything else. Not to sure if this is the standard when its described as a stacked sub. Not very environmentaly friendly as for 2ppl we had 7 small containers that will sit in a landfill in the coming days. Overall, for the price and high anticipation to give yall a try for the first time, it wasnt great to have the tastebuds wanting to return again. Happy we at least tried it and now we know.

Attempted to order dinner on Friday night - March 15 - through SKIP... order was accepted by restaurant... driver was dispatched and was waiting at restaurant... restaurant canceled the order. Called SKIP... they apologized, confirmed that restaurant had canceled and said to try order again. I placed order again... restaurant confirmed, driver dispatched and was waiting for order. Restaurant canceled order again. Called restaurant repeatedly, no answer. Very disappointing as Id heard good things.

The sub was good. However, I ordered it on whole wheat and got white. It was still good, no doubt about that and I dont believe it was the kitchens error. I believe the young gentleman on the till needs a bit more training. Im pretty sure he got it wrong. He had to re-enter my order and when he did it the 2nd time, pretty sure he didnt put in for whole wheat.

All the staff were very kind and patient and had plenty of recommendations for me to try. Service was quick despite how busy they were. Food was delicious, and full of flavour. Definitely will be back!

I seen they had a bread free option n the lady said they can make it into a salad Ok awesome But when I got home (20 mins away) n opened everything up, I got a box with meat n that was it Ended up making my own salad at home Very disappointing But I will say the staff were very kind and polite Wont be going back though

Shut up! Lol Im 47 and have never had firehouse subs before! Wow from start to finish, friendly staff! Short wait time! Even as small as the packaging of the product that I love! We got the club subs and salad, my son who is 18 he is picky and actually said to me thank you for wanting to try this place, it is really good. I havent heard that from him in years! Quality fantastic, great atmosphere inside, clean and I loved it when I was asked to round up my bill for fireman fund! Decent sandwiches and it seemed quite busy for a Monday with a steady stream of customers. There is plenty of choices to have but they really should have had everything dialed in a bit better because most of the drinks were unavailable but I was able to find a choice of something refreshing. Lots of people talk about the meatballs sandwich and today mine was good. If you dine in the only super annoying protocol they have is the kitchen yells Welcome to Firehouse but do not pay attention enough and said it more to people walking out the door and less when people are coming in. (that part could haunt some nightmares) Some of the sandwiches might not travel well and would be something to eat right away.

I wanted to try this place out. My sandwich tasted good, but the warm tomato and lettuce wasnt my favorite. However, Ill give it another try and opt for a different sandwich next time. While its on the pricey end for a sub, its definitely higher quality than something like Subway.
