My son got food poisoning after eating rainbow sushi and miso soup there. He suffered from diarrhea, stomach pain, nausea and vomiting. I inform the restaurant to be sure that no other person have the same issues and I have been told that they are sorry but they do not have a procedure for food poisoning and I was free to complain to the health autorites.
Very impressed with the food and service. The food quality was excellent. Had the Kiss me Roll and the Lion King roll. Wife had Dynamite roll and Gomae. Delicious. I did not even add any soya sauce as the flavor combinations of both rolls was superb. Service friendly and welcoming. Wonderful place for sushi! Well done. Seats were a little hard but considering th food quality and service it didn’t matter at all. Also very good green tea too.
It's a quiet place you can have your lunch in. The service is so nice. The sushi and ramen were very delicious. I love it. They deserve to be 5 stars. 💜
The first thing I noticed when I entered the restaurant was the polished look and clean style. I went on a Thursday afternoon, so the restaurant was peaceful, and I enjoyed the soft upbeat music. After browsing the menu and deciding what I wanted to eat, I only got halfway to setting the menu down before my waitress asked if I was ready to order. I got the Dyna Combo, a Dynamite roll, a Crunch Prawn roll, and a Crunch California roll all for the affordable price of $18. I also sipped on some complimentary tea which made a lovely pair with the sushi. After only a few minutes my food arrived, and it was one of the fastest meals I’ve ever received at a restaurant. The Dynamite roll was downright immaculate, the roll's girth warrants a safety warning and children or people with small mouths are advised to take a couple of bites for each roll. The roll is packed with more crab than a California roll, two pieces of crispy prawn tempura, cucumber, and avocado. The sauces on this roll are really what made it a sweet teriyaki sauce and a creamy peanut mayo brings together the symphony that is this roll. The Crunch prawn roll scared me a bit on paper: white rice, tempura, and panko flakes seemed like a lot of starch in one roll, but it pulled through and waved any previous fears—this rolls crunch factor came through to make another delicious roll. The teriyaki sauce was again a welcomed addition on both the Crunch Prawn and California rolls. I left feeling fully satisfied, Hiko Sushi is a restaurant I plan on returning to and a sushi spot I would highly recommend.
Great sushi place to hit up when visiting the attractions near by. I suggest parking in the back area. You can access the restaurant from there too.
Good price and quality. Chicken yaki udon was slightly burnt and over sauced, too salty too. The dyna combo was good. Food is pretty fresh. Service was awesome!
If you're looking for good Sushi, excellent service and fair prices for what you get, then this place is it. They may be located in a popular area out in nowheresville but their quality, cut, freshness and variety of dishes is downtown Vancouver high end grade. Friendly staff made my family and I feel welcomed and taken care of. I may go out there again just for this place.
Amazing flavours! The chef is an expert at both traditional and new creative dishes. This is hands down, our favorite sushi place in the area.
Delicious every time I come here it is as good as I remember. Loyal customer. This place is very delicious.
A nice lunch time dining experience.
Didn t even know this place was there. We ordered from there the other night and it s the best sushi that we ve had in a long long time will definitely be ordering from them again.
Sushi was very fresh! Teriyaki was great.
Great fresh sushi. Highly recommended. Thank you Paul Australia Food : 5/5 |
Ordered a teriyaki plate and spicy California roll - didn t expect much but everything was pretty tasty!
Restaurant is tiny and I recommend a reservation. We were a group of 11 (with a reservation) and were treated so well. We were seated very promptly. The food was excellent! I would recommend this place to anyone.
Simply Amazing! You must visit this tiny gem! Fast, Fresh, Friendly! Five Shining Stars! Food
The restaurant was nice and the staff were good, however I ordered the scallop roll and that s where it all went wrong. 10 minutes after leaving I started to feel sick and then had to pull over into some homeless encampment to puke over and over and over. Restaurant , the homeless were welcoming though
Coming from Richmond where there are two handfuls of good Japanese Restaurants with fresh quality Sashimi. This place can really give them a run for their money. Friendly service + a clean & tidy joint with exceptional quality & fresh sashimi. Price is fair @ 3/5. But this far into the interior. I am super happy to find good quality food.
Fantastic sushi! Great service!
The presentation of the food was excellent and the quality was even better. Best sushi place in Abbotsford.
Fresh - top quality rolls.
This rather small location produces some absolutely amazing food, with outstanding service. I ordered the chicken ramen and it was superb.
My first time ever having sushi and it was amazing!!
We love this place and get sushi from here weekly. Ingredients are fresh, and consistently delicious. A little pricier than other places in town, but worth it. The hikko cracker is super tasty and unique! My only suggestion is that they make a kids box or order option, as I always ask for small cut for the rolls for my kids.
Delicious! Lovely service and fast enough to get us on our trip again.
Great food for a very fair price!
Quick and delicious in a nice quiet restaurant, ample parking and theres EV chargers. Reasonably priced The chicken teriyaki rice bowl was very good and tasty however I wish there was much more vegetables than just cabbage and sliced carrots.
Food is still great, staffs are kind.
Outstanding quality whenever I eat there. Very friendly staff
The best sushi place I ve ever tried seriously. Tofu was just AMAZING!! rolls are just the right size and ingredients so fresh !!! Will definitely come back :)
Really good. Friendly. Fast.
Best sushi I ve ever had! Great prices and quality! 10/10 recommend :)
California rolls #1
Honestly I ve eaten lots of Ramen and all sorts of flavours and broths. But the Beef Spicy broth ramen they serve here is just out of this world, highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a wholesome meal in a nice and quite environment! Thanks for such great food!
Exceeded my expectations. Very happy! Will be back. Food is amazing and the place is clean and nicely decorated
The udon noodles were a little dry, but not too salty, and the sushi was very large.
I would say that have really yummy and fresh sushi. They were very fast even when we ordered a big platter. The only downside is that they need to fix the wall at the back. It has small cracks. Food
Good sushi small portion
Tasty
I was mistaken than the vegetarian ramen had meat and the noodles has small pieces of mushroom that appear to be meat. The miso broth was delicious and veggies would be nice to have tofu added to the ramen to add protein for vegetarians :)
Greatest ramen soup ever! I would recommend to order it with chicken and beef together. Costs a bit more, but totally worth it!!
It is sooooooo good
Very, very, very small inside!! Suggest take out. Unless you go at not busy times like lunch and dinner....
I was blown away by the quality and quantity and exquisite style. I highly recommend you try this restaurant. I believe it was some of the best food sushi I have had in years. Dietary restrictions: I have food allergies and this accommodated my need
Delicious food and great service. Convenient location
Super fast service! The tuna tataki was delicious, as were the rolls
This place is small but cute inside and staff are decent. Food was hot, good portions and tasted good. We both got food poisening so I dont recommend.
In these expensive times were restaurants are overpricing everything, this place is actually affordable and delicious at the same time! Ordered the spicy sushi combo A and miso soup all for 16 dollars!
This place has amazing sushi. So impressed.
Still the best Japanese locally. Hiko crackers, octopus balls & creamed prawns with fresh salad. Plus a couple pcs Unagi of course!
Great sushi! I will definitely be back!
The owners are real friendly and the food is amazing. One of the best sushi places in Abbotsford.
Great place to eat
Good local sushi place
Food was delicious and the udon was perfect for the cold weather. Very friendly owner.
Absolutely delicious!
It was a sunny Thursday afternoon when I walked through the doors of Hiko Sushi, my friend Cole and I had just finished a workout and needed some food; we were both craving sushi so we decided to go to the nearest one we could find. Hiko is located just off the Whatcom exit in Abbotsford, it s a small restaurant with a relaxed vibe and modern decor. Our waitress kindly guided us to our seats and handed us menus I ordered green tea and water to drink and began browsing the menu. Hiko Sushi serves a wide variety of Japanese food; I ended up ordering a $6.5 dynamite roll and $14 chicken teriyaki which is served with a miso soup. After only 11 minutes the food began showing up, first the miso soup; it was good, the flavour was sturdy with tofu and chopped green onions adding flavour and texture, however, it was nothing special just a standard miso soup. Next, the dynamite roll arrived, to say this was the best sushi roll I ve ever had wouldnt be an understatement. The imitation crab was flavourful base, the deep-fried prawn gave the roll a crispy texture, the avocado and cucumber added freshness, the sum of rolls centre had all the needed ingredients without sacrificing the structural integrity of the roll, something other dynamite rolls struggle with. the nori was sturdy, and the rice was fluffy, topped with sesame seeds, most importantly it didn t overpower the roll. The sauces were the M.V.P. of the roll, a sweet rich teriyaki sauce and a creamy nutty peanut mayo. This roll is a prime example of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts, although the ingredients are top quality it is the synergy that makes this roll stand out. Last came the entrée, it was a fluffy Japanese white rice, savoury stir-fried veggies, and tender grilled chicken, which was the highlight of the dish; all this was topped with the delicious teriyaki sauce that was on the dynamite roll, however, there was too much teriyaki sauce, its sweetness overshadowed the other flavours of the dish. the portion size was large, and the dish was overall delicious. The sips of hot tea elevated the dining experience, it and pickled ginger cleansed my pallet in between each bite, allowing my taste buds to rediscover the flavours in every bite I took. As Cole put it. Hiko Sushi made me feel like I was eating sushi for the first time. I was blown away with their service and their quality of food, not to mention how reasonably priced it was I recommend Hiko to any seafood/sushi lover in Abbotsford! Overall, my experience at Hiko Sushi was delightful, the meal was filling and some of the best Japanese cuisine I ve ever had, the food was also prepared in what felt like an instant and all for just over $25. With all this in mind, I would give Hiko Sushi five stars. It is a restaurant that I plan on visiting again as soon as I get a chance.
Love stopping here when we drive to Vancouver. We fill up our tummies and the vehicle in one stop. I often order a couple of rolls but decided to try the sake don(salmon sashimi donburi-pictured). Very nice. I also usually get gomae but the sauce has peanuts here and my son is allergic, so I chose to skip it. Got the wakame salad instead.
I never write reviews but I ordered from Hiko for the first time and absolutely had to get on here to show them some love. Wow! I ordered the Alaska and the Kiss Me roll and they were both the best sushi dish I ve ever had.. and I ve enjoyed many different sushi restaurants. Absolutely delicious, 10/10 will order from here from now on. The Kiss Me roll is next level delicious. Ordered takeout so can t comment on service or atmosphere but food was incredible.
Best yam roll Ive ever had!
Great sushi and fantastic hosts! Its a very friendly place and theyre quick making it a great place for a quick, healthy work lunch. Thanks again for an excellent lunch Hiko!
Not my absolute favourite place for sushi, but very good! Nigiri pieces are generously sized in the protein department. My husband ordered Teriyaki chicken and said it was very good. The Gyoza weren t my favourite, but my husband thought they were better than our usual place, so you just can t please all of the people all of the time. Décor here is very modern rustic, which I love, and the bathrooms were spacious and spotless; friendly service that isn t too in-your-face or bothersome during the meal. The reason I won t come back in awhile is that there are a LOT of other Sushi restaurant options in Abbotsford for me to try first.
Fresh, delicious sushi that was made quickly for take out. A welcome change to the fast food places that surround it.
Our favourite sushi restaurant in the Lower Mainland, by far. Honestly the best salmon sashimi we ve ever had, creative and delicious sushi options, hip decor, and unparalleled great service. Highly recommended!
Excellent service, excellent food, authentic and fresh. So happy we found this place!
Great quality food & service
Starving and we popped by on our way to Vancouver, fantastic service, beautiful rolls and well priced! Definitely dropping by on the way home again! Thank you for making my day after some awful experiences that happened beforehand!! Vegetarian options: Fantastic options
Fantastic Sushi!!!
Food is good and fresh
Best Dynamite roll I can remember having.
The best sushi restaurant in the area - all the ingredients taste fresh and are prepared beautifully. The prices are quite high in comparison to other places but it reflects the good quality of food.
Excellent food as normal
Their sushi is amazing!
Website says closed on Wednesday, and no answer today on Monday...?
My partner and I went to Abbotsford for the day from New Westminster. We decided to stop in for some lunch after some fun at Castle Fun Park, and we were not disappointed. I ordered the Beef Teriyaki and it came out SIZZLING! It was the best teriyaki I have ever had. Everything came out fresh, and our waitress was friendly. We will absolutely return on our next adventure to Abbotsford.
Good selection, good atmosphere and pleasent staff, very clean. Food came in good time, tasted really good! This is our seccond time back and will deffinately go again!
We always make a stop here whenever we can. Very friendly staff, good service and very good sushi too!
Terrible service! I came in to grab a couple of sushi rolls to go and the staff were very annoyed since they were in the middle of all eating their dinner. They prepared my sushi and left it sitting in front of me for five min while i was standing there. The lady who was then eating and licking her fingers while eating gets up to serve me my sushi without washing her hands. So disgusting! They also didnt give me wasabi and ginger with my sushi which is unheard of. I will not be back here and hopefully they get a visit from the health inspector soon.
Rude
Won t recommend to others.
Fabulous..fast...friendly
Hands down best sushi place, ever. The couple that own this place are kind, generous and always remember me.
Food portions were generous and tasty. Too bad the service was poor. Servers need a lesson on how to welcome guests in a friendly manner; how to time the service so everyone is served at the same time; and how to check if everything is satisfactory. Time to put away the phones and video games.
This is not a japanese restaurant but chinese all in all. I was seeved a lousy cold miso soup. The service was chinese running style. Bad all in all. Stay away from it!!!!
Great sushi restaurant, and in my opinion best one in east Abbotsford. Always fresh food, prepared well not over priced. Owner is really nice.
Ive only had takeout, but the staff does seem friendly! :) Sadly, I dont live in Abbotsford to go here often. My favourite is their beef yaki-udon
Great sushi! The best highway food stop... but more than that, it s downtown Vancouver quality sushi! Cheap, but fresh ingredients, and good sized portions. Always stop by when driving on Hwy 1.
Super unwelcoming. Had to dine in with 3 other friends and the younger waitress can not hide her facial expressions. 4 of us got in and her face was in disgust, maybe because there s 4 of us wanting to dine in. My friends started to feel uncomfortable because of it and proceeded to leave the restaurant. While she s taking my order, her face was unexplainable, in a bad way that my friends left so i was left with a bad taste as well. I decided to take a spicy tuna roll to-go and left the restaurant. Take your orders to-go. Dining was super unwelcoming.
I usually don t do this but one of the servers made a face like she was disgusted when we came in but we didn t think much of it then. 2 in our group went to Tim Hortons instead and 2 ordered spicy tuna for to go. She reacted poorly when we ordered and started to question it. She then went on about how we re not allowed to sit if we re ordering for to go. Bad service.
BEWARE!!! Would not come back to this place. Very bad service, don t waste your money here. I would give this place 0 star if possible. The lady at the front counter made a face as soon as we came in, seems like she was disgusted by us. Went to a nearby Tim Hortons instead.
A hidden gem on the way to Vancouver. My daughter who loves sushi totally enjoyed it.
Very good sushi. Big portions, good rice and salmon. Super recommend stopping by after a hike
Hiko Sushi is not just the best sushi in Abbotsford, it serves sushi that would be considered top notch no matter where it was. I speak from experience, having eaten countless amounts of sushi in either Korea or Japan. Yes, the owners are Korean and not Japanese but that does not diminish the quality of the sushi as raw fish is a traditional food in Korea.
Great quality food.
Wow what a great surprise. Glad we stopped in on our way back from the interior . Huge portions , very clean & great service
One of the best sushi restaurants in the whole Fraser Valley! Whenever I am in town, Hiko is my go to! Great service, quality, fresh ingredients and nice presentation. I would definately recommend it!
Our go to place for sushi. Always good
Best sushi in abbotsford!! Great service and even better food! Always recommending this place to anyone! The lion king roll here is my favorite roll from anywhere! Its a must try!
Best sushi Ive ever had! Quick service, friendly staff, and amazing quality. This will be my sushi spot from now on!
I stop here weekly when I drive to van for work, its definitely something I look forward too:) always fresh and well made. I love food and I eat probably 4x as much as a normal person...if I say its good its good :) my go to is the spicy combo with a crazy roll and a dynamite roll. Add extra unagi sauce (sweet) for dipping. If your hungry give that combination a go haha
Best sushi in Abbotsford. Staff are really friendly, the sushi is fresh and well prepared, and the prices are competitive with other sushi restaurants. Recommendations for rolls are the Lion King and Red Dragon Roll. Lots of good things to try
Really friendly owner and fast service. Clean and good food.
Might have just caught them on a bad day I guess but my experience was they were unfriendly and not great food, they messed up an order and when I asked them to fix it they seemed angry that I even asked. doubt I will ever go back.
This is our favourite little sushi restaurant which satisfies my girlfriend for veggie options and me for mainly sashimi options. Quality food and excellent presentation if you dine in. Always friendly and quick service.
Will not be going here again
Great service, friendly staff. Food was great.
I go here regularly, the portions are good size, the quality is great, the staff are quick, friendly and remember me each time and all for a reasonable price! I get my regular order and try a new dish each time with nothing to ever complain about. Location is handy, right off the highway and by gas station. Would recommend this place!
Went here to grab a quick bite before heading on the highway again. The beef ramen is more like beef noodle soup only, not the ramen we were expecting, the soup is not miso nor anything close to a ramen soup, the serving is big but eventhough I am hungry, I look after the taste especially on ramen which is my favorite. The chicken karaage is ok but the cut size is small. Outside the store every food shop is busy, this one is not, now I know why. Will not come back here
Delicious - my favourite sushi place in Abbotsford!
Best sushi!
Its ok. Nothing special. Classic korean sushi
Aga Tofu and the rolls are on point. I love this quaint sushi hideaway in the Whatcom Exit. Owner/staff are always friendly, service is excellent, and the food is deelish. Id say this is my favorite sushi joint in Abbotsford.
Decent price for quality of sushi. The lady on the phone was friendly. Pick up was quick and efficient.
Like this restaurant very much, feel traveling to JP because of their good service. Enjoy the lunch here.
Great food and wonderful service :) a nice cold beer and some sushi that was delicious!
I purchased Atlantic and sockeye takeout from Hiko along with, from those that offered both, 12 other sushi restaurants in Abbotsford. Hiko had good cost and portion sizes throughout. In this picture I am trying to show how much fish was placed on the rice as best I can. I did taste a strong fishy taste in their sockeye salmon compared to the rest of competitors, but I know sockeye is famous for its lean, less fatty taste than other species of salmon.
Prices are very fair and the place is new and clean but the food was really not spectacular. Maybe for a local Abbotsford person its okay but I personally dont think its honestly worth it. Today I ordered the unagi roll and chopped scallop roll, both were very bland and they skipped out by having very little rice on the rolls themselves. The wasabi is the cheapest of the cheap, it doesnt even taste like horseradish- its very bland and stale wasabi which is pretty unusual considering its literally just horseradish...
I sat in there for 20 minutes wondering if a waitress was going to come and take my order say hi or anything. And I did say hi to the guys in the kitchen so they knew I was there and I made my presence known. After waiting so long I went to the counter confused wondering if I made a mistake and needed to order there. He re assured me if I m at a table they will come and he said he s coming right away to take my order. I sat there for another 15 min looking at them the whole time waiting and still no one came down. So I walked out. NO SERVICE even after asking for it politely. It looked like the only people they helped were sitting right beside the entry point to the kitchen.
Love the food, the atmosphere and most of all the people who own the shop! I used to eat here regularly but since Ive now moved away Ill have to settle for the occasional visit whenever Im next in town. :)
Great spot, value, and food! Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was spotless.
I have mixed feeling about this restaurant. We dropped by the restaurant after seeing raving reviews, but left somewhat confused and slightly disappointed. Dont get me wrong. This restaurant is not bad, but delivers a rather confusing message in terms of the food authenticity. The name Hiko Sushi suggests an entity of Japanese origin, but in fact, this restaurant heavily leans on the Korean-Canadian side. They have the cliche rolls like Dynamite, BC, Alaska for those local sushi eaters, which we didnt try. Instead, the food we sampled today were Fried Tofu, Spicy Shrimp Ramen, and Tempura-Don. Tempura was nicely done, good balance of crispiness with a nice batter. The seasoning on the rice was a tad bit on the sweet side, but very pleasant. First sign of the restaurant not authentically Japanese. Fried tofu was delicious, but seasoning was strong, with lots of topping, a second sign that the restaurant is more of a fusion taste rather than authentically Japanese. Finally, when my family dug into their ramen, they questioned whether the ramen were instant noodles. They were. Its a common ingredient in some Korean cuisine, such as hotpot, but a blasphemy in any Japanese restaurants. Even Japanese hotpot would demand at least udon, instead of instant noodles. When you order ramen in a Japanese-sounding restaurant, you expect hand-stretched, or at least machine-stretched noodles with some chewiness. This is a big part of the ramen experience. Substituting the noodles with instant noodles would only bring about disappointment. On the other hand, the ingredients aside from the noodles were delicious. Shrimps were juicy and broth was delicious. Finally, a 15% gratuity is added to each bill automatically, yet the P.O.S machine still asks you to enter a tip percentage. We dont frequent the area often and not entirely sure if this is a common practice, but we rarely see a mandatory fixed amount tip practiced in Asian restaurants in Greater Vancouver as a whole. The waitress and chief were friendly and attentive. The dining experience was pleasant. I guess I still cant get over the fact that we had INSTANT NOODLES in a Japanese-sounding restaurant.
Food was ok. I was served a hair in one of the rolls and another hair in my prawn tempura! They only took off 15% of the bill! Won t be going back.
Although it is not in s place you would expect to find great sushi, the Japanese food at Hiko was as good as the best I have been to at a fair price. The tempura had that texture and delicate flavour that takes care to get. The fish was well prepared and fresh because they must have a good supply chain. The sashimi was delicate and with excellent texture. The specialty rolls were also flavourful and interesting.
Awesome sushi, highly recommend the Hiko Cracker, a tasty and completely deep fried sushi cracker topped in fresh fish and sauce. Beautiful decor and friendly service This place is a must try!
Went to Hiko Sushi for dinner for 7 people - 3 adults and 4kids. Service was great and food came out quickly. Every one of us loved what we ordered! Delicious sushi rolls and other creative dishes by Eddie made it so much more special!! Price is more than reasonable for quality of food you get. Must try!
Dont let the location fool you. The food is very good, selection large and service excellent. This gem of a place is spotlessly clean and very accessible.
Yummy Japanese food!
Very friendly staff! Get your food quickly, wonderful atmosphere!
Food is very good. Service is friendly and helpful. Id go here rather than anywhere else in Abbotsford for sushi.
probably best sushi in town
Great food. Large servings. Tried the Dyno Combo.
Having lived in Vancouver, Ive been spoiled by great sushi. Even in light of this, Hiko in Abbotsford off of the highway is my favorite! Consistently fantastic. Hiko Cracker is a game-changer...
The food was good, but it wasnt the best Ive ever had. The menu offered good assortment of food. The price was fair. If you have a couple Canadian dollars left and want to spend it, its an ideal place to stop and grab a final Canadian Sushi meal.
The food here is delicious and everyone is always very friendly! This is our favourite sushi place.
Great sushi.
At first, I was hesitant on going in, because abbotsford is such a western city. But when I walked in, I was met with the nicest staff Ive ever seen in a sushi restaurant. The polar opposite from the Vancouver area. The area was filled with people from all ethnicities.I was short on time so I asked for the quickest dish. I was very indecisive and mind of annoyed the chef, but the lady was very patient. Even the waitress was kind. She recommended the chicken teriyaki because its the fastest.it came out in barely 5 minutes. I was astounded. The portion was quite big too. I never got to try the specialty food here but I will if I ever come back. My only conplaint is that the wait time is on the higher side and the price is not affordable either. Good place otherwise.
I always stop here when were on a road trip, great sushi, staff, and restaurant.
Great food....very nice service! Quick too!
Very delicious. The sashimi is fresh. The price is reasonable. The food is served quickly.
Good food Good service
The best ever!
Very friendly staff , great interior design And amazing food
Tofu Teriyaki is tasty and service is good.
Good sushi with good flavours.
Great portions, amazing taste and nice quiet place.
Not great, but not terrible. Tried California rolls, ramen, some fried crab rolls and some spicy tuna rolls. Tuna rolls werent very spicy and pretty bland, crab rolls fell apart while eating and fried rolls were burnt. Ramen was tasty and well made, thats the one part I definitely enjoyed, and not a bad price. Service was friendly, polite and quick, but price for the quality of the product was mediocre.
Hiko sushi staff was amazing! Super friendly and prompt with service. Eddie s food goes unmatched here in Abbotsford, absolutely delicious! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great lunch or dinner spot! Your restaurant is beautiful, the decor is so cute!
First off, the decor is percent on point. It probably makes the food taste better.. Who knows. Sushi was pretty good, but then I only had a tuna roll. My wife had the karage, which was served on a bed of chopped green onion and deep fried crunchy bits. It was a whole nother level of deliciousness and presentation. Bike parking is pretty bad. I dont think there was anything I could have locked a bike to.
Great sushi
OUTSTANDING! From the moment you arrive you are treated with the warmest smiles and feeling of being welcomed by old friends. The food is delicious and presented with the sort of artist and care that you would expect at the worlds finest restaurants. Highly reccomended! Cant wait to return again!
Always great sushi, my favourite in the valley
A hidden little gem not too far from my neighbourhood with great service. Their selection of sashimi, sushi rolls and such isnt as extensive as some places, but it is fresh and tasty. I really love and am picky about my sunomono and theirs is one of the best in town! Its also one of the few places in town, since my old favourite closed down, that serves a pretty good beef tataki.
Its very cool. :-)
Very good quality sushi at a very reasonable price. The service was great and quick with a smile. Our waitress was very attentive and by often ti ask if we needed anything else. Id highly recommend this place again. Its quaint but there is room in the back for a party of ten.
Takeout order for the road, sushi tasted fresh but the rice was still warm, which was kinda yucky. They gave us complimentary edamame which was a nice touch.
Looking at the menu the prices seemed expensive. When the food arrived it all made sense. Quantity and quality was well worth it. I was dissapointed that they dont offer lunch or dinner boxes. Overall , great fast service and food!
Reasonable price , very good udon and fresh sashimi
Friendly staff, quick service for fresh rolls and great quality. Going to be my go to place whenever I pass by whatcom
Food was not worth the price.
Great sushi, fresh and quick!
Loved it had an amazing rating and stood up to that very small and cute location but food was awesome had the dyno combo and tempura service was excellent as well
Hands down best sushi. Great price and roll sizing. I live in Calgary albert and make a point to stop in every time Im in the area.
Unique rolls
Best sushi Ive had!!! Dynamite Roll was incredible!
Amazing sushi best in Abbotsford for sure!
Nice sushi at a reasonable price
Not going to lie, based on the location of this place I didnt have high hopes. It was very tasty, affordable, good portions (but not too much), and friendly staff. Definitely would come back.
Hard to get any better honestly. Fair prices, fast and friendly service, clean, and delicious sushi with lots of options. Beautifully presented and no BS. Would come back for sure. Nothing to complain about at all.
Best sushi in town, with amazing customer sevice.
The food was good as well as the staff, the only problem I had was the lack of parking for large trucks
Friendly staff and quick service times. Unique rolls of higher quality. Would recomend for any sushi lover
Great food
