Nikko Sushi in Abbotsford

Very happy with the food and service I received everything looked and tasted good you could see the pride on the plate. Felt very realistically priced and I would definitely come back. I seen another post about the deep fried California roll being really good I can confirm this place does it right!

Tea and rice was cold, spicy sauce wasnt enough, jast a tea spoon. Im sure wont come back.

This is a smaller place and I dont think they do dine-in but I could be wrong. They are the BEST sushi restaurant in Abbotsford. Their rolls taste incredible and are masterfully assembled. Its a bit pricey but if youve got 40 bucks laying around its WELL worth the price. Parking: Next to lordco with lots of parking Wheelchair accessibility: This location is wheelchair accessible. Not sure if they have an automatic door though so that may pose a challenge for some.

Nikko Sushi has been a long time favorite of mine since moving to Abbotsford. Their service is fantastic, the people there are so nice and everything about their food is amazing. The presentation is great, food is delicious and portion sizes are big! If youre looking for a good place to get sushi, this is it!

Its a really cute dine-in Japanese place with amazing ramen.

I went there solo one afternoon for a Dynamite Roll craving. I ordered and paid at the till and I was surprised when they brought my roll out within 3 min of ordering and the box was cold. I should have spoken up then. It had come straight out of the fridge and was not prepared fresh. I took one bite of it and it tasted old and fishy (my assumption is the seaweed wrap had been sitting too long). It was so disgusting that I put the roll down and walked out and lost my appetite. I could have spoken up but I shouldn t have to as they should be serving fresh rolls. I would have gone to Save On had I wanted preprepared food. They got my money that day but they won t ever get it again. Is it worth losing a customer over an old roll? Hopefully they think twice next time before serving an old roll out of the fridge.

Box of sushi arrived opened and unsealed by the restaurant ! The raw fish was uncovered In addition, there were no chopsticks and given that we re at a hotel, we had to eat the sushi with forks and knives Sushi was average and not worth the 100$ we paid. Will not be ordering from here again.

Best Sushi joint in the world. I ve been to sushi restaurants all over the world in Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America. Nowhere I ve been checked as many boxes and stayed afforable like Nikko Sushi does. Hospitality, Food quality and Cost are all things I look at when eating out and the only place in the world that I ve been that rivals the levels reached by this establishment would be Greece. Greek family owned restaurants have the most amazing hospitality. Nikko Sushi holds a special place in my heart.

Ordered the ramen for delivery, large bowl game with maybe a 1/4 of broth and a cup of noodles, once added didnt cover half the bowl and very little liquid. Definately worth the $18each any other sushi place would fill with broth

6 of us came in to celebrate, and we were treated to a delicious dinner and friendly service and very attentive service. The chef made a sushi cake for us to enjoy! Thank you. I will return for another delicious meal.

Dinner out. Great place and awesome food. Called ahead to make sure open after the holidays. Definitely suggest a stop in if youve never tried. Got the party tray and was more than enough for 2 of us. Take out is in cardboard containers, making them great for the environment

It s normally good and fresh but some times you get a piece that just isn t right still has not gotten bad but I would not have served it. No Ikura fish eggs I have been asking for awhile they are not that hard to get. Sushi is getting way to expensive Nikki has gone up the most I have menus from 2019 2020 & 2021 they raised it consistently even though the cost of living was not affected yet.

Took out for the first time and were surprised at the quality and the attention to detail of the food. The avocados were the most fresh ones Ive seen in a long time, the seafood ingredients didnt have any fishy smell, the rice wasnt mushy; everything was just right. Highly recommend and will be ordering from here from now on!

My favorite special rolls are Las Vegas Roll, Spicy Crunch Monster Roll(not too spicy, I think it sweet spicy), FireCracker Roll and Boston Roll. Also, My son likes Chicken roll!!

Just ordered a sushi box and California rolls on the side. The service was friendly and quick. The food not only tastes great but the presentation was phenomenal as well. Its a bit more pricey than other sushi restaurants in town, but totally worth it for the quality you get. Ill definitely go back again.

Since LA sushi in mission closed, we had been looking for a place with good sushi box meals for a decent price. We tried a few other places with minimal results and stumbled upon nikko and after giving it a try, it is just as good or even better and have been happily returning whenever we are looking to scratch our sushi itch. Absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a good place to eat around abby

Had lunch here with my wife. Food was good. Large pieces of sashimi. Ordered spicy salmon and then they charge extra for spicy. Really thought that wasn t right. They gave us rice when we sat down but we didn t ask for it. Charged us for that as well. Service was good.Won t be back.

The food is delicious. The sashimi was COLD The way it is supposed to be . Only problem is no alcohol served. Oh well food was great and we will definitely use as our take out place... due to no sake

I was about to order for Nikko again and I realised I have never bothered to review this amazing little sushi place. First discovered it about two years ago, due to covid restrictions I have never eaten in, so this is purely about the food. Food here is fantastic, fresh and flavorful. I am not usually a big fan of maki rolls but I definitely enjoy them at Nikko. The sashimi is excellent. I have not had an item here that was not a success. This is a casual spot so not a fancy night out, but for what it is and wants to be this place hits it right over the fence.

Friendly staff. We appreciate the complimentary edamame while we wait for our meal. The seared salmon sushi roll was nice.

Not worth your money! We saw the high reviews and went to order cali, Alaska, dynamite and deep fried cali rolls. None of the rolls tasted any thing like they should have. The only thing that was good was the prawn tempura. The rest we felt like throwing it all in garbage. It was all soggy and the sauce they put on the rolls tasted like an expired BBQ sauce! Def will not recommend!

Nikko Sushi is awesome! The food is always fresh and delicious. Their customer service is amazing. They forgot to put a sauce on one of our rolls. I didnt even notice but they called right away to notify me that they had made a mistake and apologize. Despite me saying it was okay and that I actually hadnt noticed they insisted on making it up to me and gave me 30% off my next order.

Why put meat gyoza in the vegetarian dinner box?? Also the teriyaki just tasted like nothing but salt, and the sunomono noodles were undercooked. The veggie roll was good and tempura was okay.

First time trying this place. We had tempura (light and fluffy coating), miso (fresh and hot) deep fried cali rolls (new one for us), unagi (yum), some other rolls and a spicy beef don. Great food. Friendly service. Will be back soon!

My husband and I were on the hunt for a good sushi joint in Abbotsford and after going to a few disappointing restaurants, we came across Nikko Sushi and decided to give it a go after reading the reviews. We can whole heartedly say that this will be our go to sushi spot in Abby. The service is always great, and everything we have ordered so far has turned out amazing!

My boyfriend and I had gone to Nikko Sushi for his birthday which is also Valentines day. We had a wonderful experience there. It was very cute, small, quite, the staff were so friendly and explained what some items were and their favourites. We will for sure be back very soon!

Mediocre at best. Not a good food value for the price. Beef box was tasteless, no dressing on/for the salad which was in the same container as the beef so the salad was warm. California rolls were also lame/tasteless and the soya sauce provided was barely enough for 1 roll. Cannot recommend this place to anyone except the people I do not want to see at the best Sushi place in Abbotsford which is miles from this place just like the difference jn quality.

We have ordered from here many times without a problem. Today we were given the wrong order when we finally received the correct order was gross. Miso soup was cold, veggie tempura was cold, greasy and was all starchy veggie. Would have appreciated variety. All of it went in the garbage very dissatisfied won t be back.

People were nice, but this is not authentic Japanese sushi. I also cannnot stand when people grab cups with bare hands where the customer will go ahead and drink. That was done at this place.

This used to be one of the best places to get sushi, with very good portions at very good prices. However, a change in ownership has unfortunately changed that. The food and prices are still decent, but aren t comparable to the way it used to be.

Ive never had a bad experience here. Cute little restaurant you can sit down in or have quick take-out. The best prices I have seen in Abbotsford and the sushi is very good. They have the orange spicy mayo sauce I like and the red spicy sauce (I know some places only do one or the other). Good portions on the lunch and dinner special. Cheap substitution cost, this is my favorite sushi place!

This used to be our favorite sushi place in Abbotsford. I recently ordered the same dinner we usually get and it was TERRIBLE! We used to love Nikko because they were generous servings, the meal we got was nothing but artificial crab. All of the rolls were the same glob of crab with a tiny bit of the other ingredients and a different sauce on top. I have never seen a california roll where I had to dig to find the cucumber before. The gyoza was dry and bland, the bbq salmon skin roll was greasey and flavourless. Another reason we liked Nikko was the complimentary volcano rolls they included, but now they just give clearly frozen spring roll like you get at Costco. Im very disappointed our local little sushi count has gone so far down hill.

Best deep fried cali rolls around. You can get them topped with almost anything else on the menu.

Excellent sushi. Super fast and friendly service. Deducted one star because they are still using non-recyclable styrofoam containers. We would happily pay a few extra cents for biodegradable containers.
