The couple that runs this place are SO SWEET. We order lunch at least twice a month from here and it hits the spot. The price is right, its clean, its yummy and satisfying. No complaints!

Best place for sushi that we have found in Abbotsford! Everything weve ordered has tasted amazing and is reasonably priced! Eating in is small but quaint and fits more people than you would expect. The take out is delicious and convenient. My son raves about their deep fried crab balls and makes me get them every time! LOL. Highly recommend!

Fiance phoned and got told I dont want to make sushi for you then hung up. She tried phoning back and no answer. Never had problems before and this was out of the blue. Just an update. Weve had no problems before, always tipped always been kind. Perhaps the owner is getting her confused with someone else. Its a shame this is how they deal with business

Definitely the best bang for your buck, if you re not doing all you can eat in Abbotsford. The favourites tray is our favourite. The sauces on the rolls are phenomenal. Best tasting sushi in town for sure. Hell night roll is also a favourite of ours Dietary restrictions: If you re dieting and want less rice, they make lots of rolls with substitute wraps like cucumber, or salmon wrapped around the roll instead. Delicious

Best sushi, best prices, best customer service. I use to go to sushi Nara before but have since moved and am no longer close to them. I found this place and can honestly say it is better. Quality and quantity with affordable prices. I don t feel guilty spending money on eating out and the staff there are so nice and always in a good mood! The only downside is that dining in isn t as comfortable as other sushi restaurants, but worth it to just grab take out. This is the only place I ll tip on take out orders.

The owners are always so kind, food is fantastic, affordable and prepared quickly. They greet us everytime we come in with a welcoming hello and thank us for coming with the biggest smiles. We absolutely love supporting this local business and enjoy our meal every time!

Owner is incredibly rude. I called for another order and he told me I had had enough and that he wasnt going to make me anymore food. Owner said I was inconsiderate because he wanted to relax and I kept asking him to make food. The quality is not very high either which ultimately matters most. The sunomono is cheap, the chef spends too much time flowering carrots and not enough time not knowing the difference between baby shrimp and lobster tail. The noodles are way to thick and the sweet vinegar is stale somehow. The fish is definitely not up to sushi standards, it tastes bland and freezer burnt. I ordered the salmon sashimi and the portion for the price is a bad joke sushi 9 will give you twice as much for the same price and it will actually be cut properly which it wasnt here. Gomae was okay though. The prices are way too high considering you have to be your own waiter. No tea or water is offered you have to get it yourself and the table when I walked in was still covered in dishes from the last customer. Total dive do not recommend. To the owner, if you dont want to run a sushi restaurant then dont, hire a chef and retire because you shouldnt be anywhere near the front of house. Vegetarian options: Veggies arent fresh and the tofu in my brothers miso was stale and old. Dietary restrictions: Cheaper high carb mung is used over industry standard rice noodles in any dish including noodles this is confirmed by the owner.

We got J s Tray, and it was filling for two people. I appreciate that the service is very prompt and friendly and that the flavours are clean and precise. Wr barely used our soy sauce with the rolls, since they tasted good on their own. I would recommend their deep-fried rolls or dynamite rolls, since they were my favourite from the tray.

Im a Mission resident, and my family and I make the weekly trip to Abbotsford for this fantastic sushi spot. The flavours are consistently great, and the prices are reasonable. They even offer self-serve green tea, which is a nice touch. Server and chef (I think they are owners) are very friendly and welcoming.It is one of the best sushi places Ive ever been to.

Was in the area and popped in on a whim with my sons. Pricing was extremely favorable, and we were pleasantly surprised of the quality of sushi we recieved. The rice was moist and seasoned perfectly. Cali rolls had a good composition and flavor, and the nigiri were fresh. The spicy tuna roll used a sweet chili, which usually isnt my preference, but still delicious. The miso soup mix they use is excellent, not too salty but bold, and served in a larger bowl than most other restaurants. The owner/chef was very friendly, and I very much appreciated the humble atmosphere. We only spent $40, but were stuffed, I wish I could have tried more. The tea is self serve, and theres a charming collection of tea cups to use. Theres some Lego as well for kids to play with if they choose. Will definitely be back again if passing through the area. This place is surely a little gem where you would least expect it! Kid-friendliness: Lego for kids to play, smiling and friendly service.

This place & Kojan sushi have the best sushi in all of Abbotsford. I choose Sushiteria for lunch because it s always quiet and clean. The food is made fresh right in front of you and the couple who runs it are so friendly and welcoming.

Great food, not a bad price

I ordered the Smoked Wrap. Ssooooo good. This is the first time Ive had sushi in a tortilla wrap. Though I wish for a little bit more smoked salmon, there is enough there with the crab meat, delicious rice, avocado and crunchy cooked yams. Very filling, I like all the flavors together! I will be coming again :-)

Picked up a tray and a couple other items tonight. Food was great and everyone enjoyed their take-out. First time in the place very quaint and the owners seem like wonderful people. Will def head back and dine in some day.

This is our favourite sushi spot in town. We basically get Sushil here every week. On top of amazing sushi and great prices, the couple that own the restaurant are so nice.

Quality sushi at a reasonable price.

We ve been ordering here regularly now and every meal has been great. Everything is fresh and delicious and prices are very reasonable. But the owners make the difference here they are there every time working side by side in the kitchen. They are alway so friendly and it feels like my business is very much appreciated.

The price is cheap and There is a lot, In particular, the udon soup was delicious and not salty~^^

Absolutely love this place! Family run and they are so good to my young kids when we go in, answering all their questions and they always get a snack of some sort as they wait! Prices are fantastic. Quality is amazing! Highly recommend trying this hidden gem out!

As far as regular sushi goes Ill be honest, this place isnt the best. But their special roles are just absolutely amazing and definitely some of the best Ive ever had. Vancouver Island roll, Dragon Eye roll and Garlic Crunch rolls are my favourite of those Ive tried so far. Been multiple times and will keep going back!

I did not have a great experience. The rice tasted like water and didn t have any flavour, the salmon was dry and I asked for Atlantic salmon and they gave me sockeye salmon, which btw has a very different taste. I gave it a two star instead of a one because the only thing I really liked was the California rolls because the crab had very good flavour if u ignore the rice around it, it is good.

Very friendly staff, food tastes good but the consistency of taste and portions isnt really there. Ive gotten their beef ramen a few times now and it always tastes good, but different tastes and different sizes each time.

The place is a confy small sushi restaurant, the cook is amazing.. you can tell he really honestly loves his work, every single item is a piece of art, and it taste even better than what it looks like. I got sushi, some edamame and a big Udon soup... everything was delicious.

My family likes sushi. Im allergic to fish, but can eat shell fish. We have been going there for almost 10 years and have never had any cross contamination for what Ive eaten. The quality has been really fresh and delicious.

Great family friendly fantastic Japanese fare with more than fair prices and a large assortment to choose from - my family loved our time here and are most grateful to the owners for not minding my fussy baby. Today I ordered 4 salmon nigiri from 12 Abbotsford sushi restaurants and compared them. Orders consisted of 4 sockeye salmon nigiri, or 2 Atlantic and 2 sockeye where available. Sushiteria offers only sockeye, the cost was 12.60 after tax, and I left no tip at any establishment. The portion size was below average. I cant add a picture here, but yummy, sushi box, sushi Nara, and hiko sushi all offer sockeye and provide larger servings for less money. Hiko has the largest of all but costs 1155. I wish sushiteria the best of busines, but I feel Impulsed to spread the truth. I spent over 100$ today buying salmon nigiri and will leave reviews for every restaurant

I walk past this place all the time and never really thought to go in, because I had my Go To Sushi place already, but figured one day I d try it and I m so glad I did. The food was great and the service was good too! Highly recommend it. Their prices are reasonable too.

A hidden gem. Not a huge fan of their salmon products but tuna is always great. Teriyaki chicken is out of this world

Its a small, shabby sushi shop. The staff was incredibly kind, treated our 9 month old very well. First sushi place who hasnt put the food RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM! Food was really good. Some of my pieces werent cut perfectly, but honestly it didnt matter. I hadnt heard of this place before, but Ill definitely be going back. 2 adults ate well for 30$. So prices are good to. Keep up the good work!

Great food and a cozy little place. The staff are always friendly with big smiles on their faces. Try Johns Rice Bowl, its a personal favorite that I usually end up taking home because its so filling.

Although it may not be in the best location, the food is amazing. The chef his best to accomodate my special requests and most importantly, the food was on point and very tasty.
