The New Saigon has been an Abbotsford staple for as long as Ive lived here. Not only is the food always fresh and tastes wonderful, the service is always above and beyond. I came in not feeling well today to make a quick pick up, and the server noticed I didnt feel well and offered me a tea, on the house! Fantastic food. Fantastic service. A must try for anyone who loves good food.

Honestly, this place is the only place for Vietnamese. We drive from mission often to dine as its always amazing. Its always fast. The service is always on point. The young host is polite and attentive no matter how busy it seems to be. Definitely a must try

Had house special, drink, and dragon chicken. Their soup was good, a decent amount of noodle equal to its price, it is a little bit on the expensive side compared to other pho as I love pho. Their drink is very expensive for the amount you get as they fill the cup all ice to the top. So youre basically getting less than half of the cup for liquid....... I recommend dont get their drinks or ask for no ice at all. $7 for a cup of ice, basically. Dragon chicken was really crispy, but flavor was meh. It wasnt spicy, sweet, or anything. Tasted like salt with chili paste. Dont recommend it.

Ive been to hundreds of Vietnamese restaurants through the years and this is by far the best. I ordered the yellow curry stir fry with prawns. Even bites without meat were bursting with perfect flavoring and just the right amount of heat. Nice people too. Next time I visit from Calgary Ill be making another stop.

We tried New Saigon after our neighbor recommended the restaurant for great pho! We got the Imperial Spring Rolls, The House Special pho, Ming Ming Satay soup, Henrys Iced Tea, and Fresh Squeezed Lemonade. Everything we ordered was delicious, my personal favorites being the Imperial Spring Rolls with crunchy rice paper and our drinks. The staff were so friendly and approachable. Im looking forward to coming back for the Fresh Squeezed Lemonade again, as well as to try the Salad Rolls next time!

Worth the drive if you re coming from anywhere but Abbotsford. The food is so good here - I ve tried other pho and it doesn t compare.

Chinese/Viet family visiting. Had chicken vermicelli, pork vermicelli and ice tea. The food has so much MSG that for the first time in my life I left half of my bowl unfinished. Wife finished her bowl and threw up all of it as soon as we got back and was sick all night. Ice tea taste like aspartame. Spring rolls were dark and oil soaked so definitely refried. Worst food weve had in years, unfortunately.

Very bad service, they push you to leave there location saying that you need to wait 30 minutes for the food , and they dont have stuff, or short stuff, or they have a big order , please dont loose your time to go there , Very bad experience, They treated me very badly because I asked them to speed up my order and they expelled me from the restaurant. Oh my God , For the first time in my life, I see the owner of the restaurant refuse to serve a respectable person who asked him to speed up his order for food. They fired this respectable person because one of the employees could not communicate with this person. For me, this is the last time I go to this restaurant, and I do not recommend anyone to go to this restaurant.

Came in for lunch in my work cloths - mechanic cloths , the owner treated me like a street person and i was not able to order as he first ignored me except when looking me up and down in a rude way - I will not give this place my money ever again as i even called after and asked why i was treated this way .. The price is cheap. The spring rolls are crispy and delicious. Personally, I didn t like the broth of the pho. It tastes like herbs. The meat also has a slightly spicy taste. The rice also tasted ordinary.

My experience trying to order a bowl of soup, after a very long work day. Arrived to the restaurant at 7p.m. They said they have no tables for me, and that theyre backed up with reservations. I saw nobody waiting. They asked me, To order to go. I looked around and saw an empty table, that could seat 2. With only one seat at it. I obliged the waiter, and agreed to order to go. He informed me it would be a 25 minute wait, bit long for pho. But I agreed and paid. 25 minutes passed, they sat a couple of 2 at a freshly opened table, and agreed to sit another couple as I waited. They did this after they asked me to take my order to go, when they had a table available. Perplexed and insulted by the lack of hospitality, and blatant bias for whatever reason towards me or my apearance, I asked for my money back and left. Go to Vi-la Vietnamese. The hospitality is more welcoming, and quite frankly the broth is better.

Worst experience in a long time. They charge the same prices as Vancouver establishments but provide half the portions which would be something if the quality was top notch but it wasnt at all the case. A large pho here is the size of a child portion elsewhere. Plus you had to ask for Sprouts and basil?!?!? What a waste.

My wife wont let me get pho anywhere else because she loves the food so much at new Saigon! She went to go pick up grub and her phone died, so she couldnt pay, awkward situation was lifted as the people let her charge her phone and sat her for a little bit. Good service and good food. Their house special salad is so good. Their phos are good too, cute little family restaurant.

The staff was friendly and the parking lot was spacious, but the food was below expectations. I ordered the special pho, but the broth was too sweet, the beef parts included were not very appetizing, and the salad roll was too big and tasted disappointing. Im even more disappointed and upset, perhaps because I went to this place with high expectations due to good reviews. My whole family is rice noodle enthusiasts... Dietary restrictions: If you cant eat beef appendages (stomach, lungs, etc.), dont order the Special Four... The salad roll was also too big, and the vegetables inside didnt match well, so I didnt like it.

Today my body could feel the cold of winter creeping up and just needed a warm bowl of soup to clear those winter time blues. New Saigon Abbotsford did that for us today. The service was good/friendly and the food was great!!! A definite must try

I have a new favorite restaurant in Abbotsford. Sad we only discovered it now. Our lunch was exceptional. I had the Chicken Curry Stew and my friend had the Henry Special. Both were delicious. We can t wait to come back and try all the other dishes.

First time here and it was amazing! BEST SPRING ROLLS I HAVE EVER HAD! Date night with my wife and we found the new Saigon. The menu is so inviting and family owned as well! (Not many family owned restaurants now a days). The song was our server and you can definitely tell there that family charm here. Thank you so much and we are gonna tell other about this gem!

I love this place and my favorite thing to order is the Henrys special Ice Tea (divine) and the Henrys special with Chicken dinner. Staff is friendly and I always enjoy eating here. Plus they have options if you have food sensitivities.

We had an unplanned dinner date last week and since we are new residents of Abbotsord, we wanted to unlock some new small-family owned restaurants within the area, We stumbled upon New Saigon in S.Fraser Way, we didnt think they would still accommodate us as they were getting ready to close in 10 minutes however, the owner let us in and accommodated us. We ordered the Fried Chicken Chow Mein and Lemon Grass Chicken with rice and some drinks. The portions were big and satisfying. The favorite is the Fried Chow Mein it was perfectly tasty and really highly recommended. We tried to eat quick so we dont hold them up for too long , but the people were nice and friendly, we will definitely be back and try some of the other specialties. 4 stars for food as the lemongrass grilled chicken seemed a little different from the picture, but tast wise its still good.

Went here with my wife for our first time, we came a bit too close to closing so we didnt think theyd serve us. However the staff where very cheerful and seated us, I ordered the crispy noodle teriyaki chicken.... as this was my first try at the dish I had no idea just how crispy the noodles are...lol I called it my chicken in a birds nest meal as the noodles are very firm until they soften abit in the teriyaki sauce, but very flavorful and I would 100% order the dish again (now I just know better what to expect). We cant wait to go back and try the other offerings on the menu

Such delicious food. Love the abundance of basil, mint, and cilantro. Crisp, fresh, innovative, and flavorful. Perfect for hot summer days. Iced tea is their own recipe. We bought a jug to take home. And extra food for supper. I look forward to trying their Pho in the winter. With special dipping doughnut sticks. Vegetarian options: They have a whole vegetarian section of their menu. You wont miss out on good things to eat. Dietary restrictions: While they dont modify their recipes, they offered to leave off nuts and warned which ones had dairy.

Me and my husband have been coming for years and we try to come as often as we can! The food is always fresh, delicious, and consistently made/plated. Sometimes you have to wait a little longer when theyre full, but its only because most of the food is made from scratch and fantastic quality! Henry and his family are lovely people that make their customers feel welcome and comfortable. I recommend that everyone tries this place at least once. My husband loves their homemade ice tea!

Fantastic server , great drink to try is the rum iced tea . The menu selection is great . Western style fusion food such as cream cheese crab wonton and an interesting satay sauce . Not for purists but worth going to for the service alone . Unfortunately my pho broth was not hot enough to defrost my rare beef or cook the noodles . I sent it back and they microwaved it .

Hands down the BEST Pho Ive tried. I order the C5 (rare beef pho soup) and tried the grilled chicken salad rolls. The salad rolls had amazing flavor, and the peanut sauce complimented it perfectly! And the soup...so good. Ill be back again and again!

This little gem has got to have some of the yummiest food around, people are absolutely lovely, the first time I tried take out but the second time I ate in and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. This was our first stop after landing and coming to BC for the first time. We are from Ontario. We read the reviews and it did not disappoint. The house special pho was absolutely incredible. Great Imperial Springrolls made with rice paper. We had the House Special and Ming Ming Satay Pho. Would have nice if they were more generous with the onions/cilantro but otherwise portions were large. Soup is a bit on the sweeter side...but service was prompt and friendly. Also want to note that this is one of the cleanest Vietnamese restaurants I ve been to in the valley, no sticky residue anywhere or oil smell in the dining area Not theeee best pho I ve had but they won me over with service and cleanliness for sure I ll be back to try their pork chop rice plate in the future.

This gem is hiding in an inconspicuous corner of abbotsford, giving a lovely, embracing feeling of comfort food in a serene atmosphere. I ordered the grilled beef over vermicelli, and as someone whose VERY picky about the firmness of noodles, vermicelli especially, these were the perfect chew alongside the fresh veggies and crunchy spring rolls. (Oh, and youll want to buy extra spring rolls. Theyre always cooked crispy & fresh and frankly they are ADDICTIVE with their fish sauce). Ive also been looking for a good Thai tea in so long, and almost lost hope that Id be top far from one; if I could can this stuff and drink it everyday, I would. Especially New Saigons Thai tea. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Only had a short time to stop on the way to the airport and googled restaurants near me and we were extremely lucky to find this gem. Cashew basil stir-fry with chicken was fantastic - havent had authentic Vietnamese food this delicious in a long time. Service was friendly, fast and the environment was relaxing. A few months ago I would ve rated a 5 star experience. My boyfriend and I always order the Ming Ming soup, which is usually packed with flavour and has the perfect level of spice. The last few times we ve dined in, the ming ming has lacked its signature flavour. Our most recent visit, yesterday, the Ming Ming was extremely watered down and lacked any flavour at all! The only thing I could taste was the green onion and lemon. The service was the worst we ve ever gotten! It took so long to get our order taken, receive any food and get further service as to any extra drinks, etc., we wanted, whereas I noticed every other table had fairly great service. Maybe we were tucked away in one of the corners and didn t have the same rapport with the server - who I didn t recognize from before - as the other customers. However, after all of the times we ve dined here, that has never stopped the service from being great before. I was very disappointed yesterday with my experience with food and service. I m not sure I trust saying that New Saigon is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Abbotsford anymore - and I don t think I ll be back to eat here for a long time.

Disappointing, lacking in flavour. The grilled prawns looked like pre-cooked Safeway prawns that were halved and added. They did not have the authentic char grilled flavour, nor did the lemongrass chicken. The spring rolls were mostly wrapping with minimal filling. While edible, not better than the well known chain outlet in most shopping malls.

My friend and I just ate in and had the ming ming soup, spinach rangoon, and Thai ice tea. It s legit!

This our first time eating here. We were looking for soups, and this restaurant was highly rated for them, but once here and looking at the menu, my husband and I decided to try some of their rice dish and spring rolls. It was oh sooo good, very flavorful, fresh made with love from scratch. The portions were generous, great service, clean, quiet just a nice peaceful mood. We are definetly going to come back for more.

I ordered the most expensive salad rolls I ve ever had and noticed the prawns are sliced in half!!! You get one prawn in a roll

Great lunch spot! If youre getting the Tofu Hotpot Soup I would recommend asking for noodles in it and the veggie broth.

It was my first time ordering from New Saigon and it did not disappoint! The service was great and the food was incredibly delicious. I ordered the Tofu Hotpot Soup (added Vermicelli Noodles) and my partner had the C3. Medium Rare Beef + Beef Meatballs. No complaints from either of us!

First time here and quite happy with their food. The portions are generous and the food is yummy. We ordered their butter garlic sriracha, and we loved it.

My new favorite place, we are looking for hot soup, and I got the best taste ever, the Pho is delicious the next table recommends the Henry special, our first time with Vietnamese flavor and I love it. Also we got friends, an amazing time, an angel paid our bill as a chain of favor. This was a beautiful day, we received a lot of blessings.

Family run pho restaurant Henry and his family are awesome, always a pleasant experience coming for lunch with friends. I usually get the large pho house special and ice tea.

It was super vibey restaurant with authentic restaurant interior. The restaurant was packed the whole time we were there, constant people coming and leaving. Super warm food for a cold day. The pho was delicious as well. As we have been to many vietnamese restaurants, they don t always speak fluent english, but here everyone could understand english which is great!! The only reason for 4 star is the lack of meat. Even with a large bowl of pho, we barely had 2 tiny pieces of beef and 2 meat balls. It was disappointment on the meat part.

We came all the way from Burnaby to visit a store and decided to try this Pho place first.. Well so glad we did and it s one of the best we ve had! Soup base was tasty and different than other PHO restaurants. Popcorn chicken and Satay chicken were juicy as well. Too bad it s too far from us lol..

The older gentlemen brought a table from outside for me and my girlfriend to sit because the restaurant was very full, he was very accommodating and made us feel at home. Awesome Pho. I ve been to over 20 different pho places and this is the best one I have eaten at. I can tell the amount of care that has been put into the food, and this place deserves 5 stars.

Have been to this place couple of times. Good menu options, great quality food, good service, bit pricey though for the ambience. Vietnamese Coffee and Royal Tea are absolutely amazing. Have tried some chicken entrees and those have been great. Food tasted pretty fresh and the portion size was pretty good. Wish they had Lunch portions on the menu. The place apparently has been in business for over 25 years.

Henrys pork special is very tasty and reasonable priced. My wife had the chicken special. Both of us enjoyed our meals. A little cold during our meal as the wind comes in with every customer cooling the place down. An active heater would help with that.

I think this is the best Vietnamese in town, Henrys special is delicious, the pho is clean, and the hot and sour soup has had me coming back for almost 20 years!

Had the C2 pho and it was awesome. A must to go place.The salad rolls were fresh and very delicious. Two thumbs up
