The best fried chicken in Calgary

Chicken has the texture of a wet noodle, the Mac and cheese resembles nothing of what is advertised. It s a soupy bland mixture with no added cheese on top. Overall very meh.

Soggy oily chicken. Seemed re-cooked. Seemed like I wasted $30. Best to try another location next time.

Just visited this location and the girls working at the counter were lovely! Excellent service! I got the spicy blackened chicken burger and it was great!

The lady manager on duty tonight is mean and not approachable! As if we are not customers! This is the 2nd time we experienced the rudeness of your staff there even the other fca! Ordered kids meal along with our food and for drinks they don t have apple juice (with kids meal), and we Said we don t need coke for our kids..instead ask for a small fries. Said they can t offer that and can provide tap water instead if required for free it seems. Not going there anymore.

Our meal was made hot and fresh, the ladies at the front were helpful and polite, and the tables were cleaned and ready for guests. We will visit again.

** beware using the popeyes app, They use useless door dash drivers that have a poor understanding of English both by text and also verbally on the phone the door dash driver Javinder 902 905 XXXX took no responsibilly for delivering to the wrong address and then blocked his number from calls. Then door dash customer service rep took no accountability for their drivers mistake of delivering to the wrong address. They told me I can to contact Popeyes since the order was through the popeyes app. When I contacted the popeys airdrie resturant the manager was very good and understanding and offered a free meal the next time we come in. So nice that the local Aidrie manager shows accountability, but honestly, door dash has been nothing but problems. Weve used them before and had many problem just use skip the dishes instead. So much better to order through skip the dishes than using the Popeyes Apps.

Driving through Airdire to pick up some Popeyes. Popeyes is a great pick up across Canada generally but enjoying their Ghost Pepper Wings in particular. Lady at the counter was very kind in choosing from the best order to enjoy the wings and get value for money at the same time. Kind service, thank you.

My wife and I came in and as we sat down, immediately we were approached by Akashdeep Kaur the shift manager asking if she can do a survey with us for a free piece of chicken. Sure, why not? I like free food. Then she takes our phones, did a survey online and then had the audacity to go into my Google reviews and leave a Fake Review of Amazing on my behalf!!! She was not honest and transparent about what she had told us she wanted to do. I thought she wanted to do a review with us to get HONEST answers, NOT pad the store with Fake reviews, and fake surveys! Highly unethical!!!! Also, the food was NOT Amazing and was fairly greasy. Gravy of course was always bomb! Beware of coming here, and go get Popeyes elsewhere. Amazing!

I had a very disappointing experience at this store this evening. The manager was extremely rude and dismissive when I raised a concern about my order. What made it worse was that she kept speaking in a foreign language with the staff, making the whole situation even more uncomfortable and unprofessional. Customer service should be a priority, but it was severely lacking here. I wont be returning and cant recommend this place to others.

I recently visited Popeyes and had a fantastic experience! The fried chicken was crispy, flavorful, and juicy, exactly what I was craving. The service was quick and the staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere.

Chicken strips came out soft not crunchy and the blackened chicken sandwich only had 2 smaller pieces of chicken rather than 1 large piece that covered the bun. On another occasion I ordered spicy chicken and received the original. Ive had better experience at other locations.

I cant really think of anything I didnt like. The environment was nice, bright, comfortable, and clean. The lady who helped serve us was quite cheerful, and at one point asked us if we needed anything. The food was yummy and hot (especially the gravy and mashed potatoes, nice and hot). The chicken wasnt overly greasy which I was glad for. Overall, I had a blessed time there with my Dad.

Terrible location. I came to the restaurant at 9:40 pm to find the front door closed. When I knocked and tried to ask the person - the cashier, an old lady, looked at me with disgust not acknowledging anything. Why have an Open sign outside clearly stating they close at 10pm when its actually closed at 9:30. Customer service is king - could have just let me know they are closed and I would have been more than delighted. I get it we are all working long hours but that doesnt give us an excuse for being a jerk especially when I am paying money. Terrible.

Sodium levels are off the charts here. 5 tenders contains over 3000 mg of sodium. Total daily recommended is 2300 mg. I love salt and I had trouble eating such salty food.

Fast food chicken that didn t have chicken ready. Was going to be a 15-20 minute wait .Airdrie location is very poorly managed. They even tried to up sell and didn t have the chicken to fill the order. Don t see that often!!!! Never again . Restaurant was empty now I know why Back to KFC!

Ordered take-out. Got home in less than 10 minutes and found the coleslaw was spoiled. There was something in the mashed potatoes that I picked out. Couldnt tell what it was. This place is not maintaining hygienic standards. Wont be returning. Cant risk it.

Honestly the food and service quality has gone down hill over the past couple years to the point I dont think I will be going much more. The chicken strips used to be hot, big, juicy, and delicious but now they are cold, small, shriveled, and sad! The fries used to be crispy and warm and are now cold and soggy, still good flavour on the fries but I think that comes on them frozen....sooo thats awkward....hope yall start doing better!

Horrible service!!! Went through drive thru, discussed with the employee getting fries and gravy, and asked if the gravy would be enough for the fries, he said yes. Got home and no fries only gravy. Phoned and talked to the same guy, said to him I didnt get fries only gravy. What good is gravy without fries. He told me it wasnt on my order. I said I even discussed with you having fries and gravy, why not included the fries. Needs to pay attention. After 5 mins on hold he said I could come back go through drive thru and get fries, no charge - very inconvenient. I came back talked to a different lady at drive thru, told her the story,. I saw her get a paperbag and a small fry bag , she filled abit of fries in the fry bag, then into the paper bag and then she got more fries in the scoop and threw loosely in the bottom of the paper bag. Very disappointed with all the employees I talked to. This place needs better customer service.

Ordered the WINGS and was completely disappointed. They where nothing like they show on your commercial, they were small. The six wings in an oversized container was very disappointing I will return for your chicken but never again for the wings.

Dude I love Popeyes, but I had multiple strands of hair in my food. It s not common for them but I didn t enjoy the hair.

We went pretty late after supper so there wasnt anyone there; the atmosphere was enjoyable. I usually order this from home but with how expensive delivery options are now, it was easier to stop and eat saving at least 10$. I was very disappointed when I arrived and they told me that their crispy chicken wrap was discontinued. Every restaurant I have gone to of Popeyes say the same thing, but I order from here every two weeks from home and always get the crispy chicken wrap.

It is not the norm that your fast food team asks if you want ketchup and double-check your order. Ms Kaur did that and so much more. A true manager. The service was exceptional. Overall, the meal was good, the chicken crispy and yet moist.
