For someone with shellfish allergies, its hard to eat here. They have the shellfish scattered instead of having them in one area so the rest of the foods doesnt get mixed with the shellfish. Also, it took the servers over 20 minutes to get us water.

M y friend invited me for first time to that buffet restaurant yesterday in Airdrie I was in real shock because the waitress who s was assigned for us was very rude from the binging no smile at all her voice is rough with us she speaks with anger it s like we are not welcome , she didn t ask for my friend daughter age if she will charge for teen or adult,, she traited us with anger , My friend asked her For a spoon the waitress just swing her arm and go there with no smile Pointing with her hand at the spoons tray also when we finished eating she brought us the bill and asked us to pay with agin no smile no complement l,,,, my friend proceed to insert the card to pay the waitress stayed standing on top of my Friend head and asked her that she has to give tip It s an obligation ,also she charged my friend Daughter ( She is 12 years old ) for her meal as adult price when my friend told her that the daughter is 12 the waitress didn t believe her and she asked her to show her ID , she didn t even apologize for the mistake , we asked for the manager the manager came and we told her that one of the waitresses who who s assigned to us is very rude and no costumer service with us and she treated us like we are not humain like her that really , First time in my life I face like this in restaurant a specially her in canada where every body respect each other I would say that s ridiculous If you don t like what you are doing don t let other people pay your mistake

Food was very good but most dishes were a bit too spicy for me personally. Nice sized buffet. Not too big. Desert was a bit scant. Reasonably priced for all you can eat.

Excellent Chinese food buffet in the center of Airdrie, finding a wide variety of dishes, desserts and drinks. Vegetarian options: There is a variety of dishes based on fresh vegetables and very well cooked. Specials for vegetarians. Dietary restrictions: Each person can serve themselves according to their personal diet and eating style. Lots of vegetables to serve. Parking: The restaurant is located in a very large area of shops and supermarkets, which is why the parking is sufficient and very large. Kid-friendliness: Completely. It is common to see families with children, enjoying the place and the food.

This place has some of the rudest waitresses. They make comments about what you feed your kids, complain you didnt tip them enough, get mad at you cuase you missed eating few bites of your food. Cant believe this place is still open. Do not eat here dont support such rude people.

The food was decent and the staff is nice but they charged me $24 just for one take-out box, too expensive.

I love it

Last Friday I went to this restaurant. A female supervisor ( black color clothes) no smiles, did not say hello to any customer. Before I finished my meal, one waitress ( red color clothes) tried to take my dinner plate away, and she did exactly same thing to another customers ( two ladies and one baby). I don t think this is the way they should do to theirs customers.

I should of read the reviews. The buffet, Honestly the grossest Buffet I ever had and Im not a fussy eater. The red sauce for the chicken balls was like red dyed water. For $23.00!! I didnt really enjoy the taste of anything, yuk.

My friends took me here on a night out, but I am vegetarian. We went to the buffet and I could eat almost nothing except 2 types of noodles, both of which I knew how to make and preferred my homemade one. I felt like I paid over $20 to eat $5 worth of noodles I could make better at home, and was embarrassed to even pay so much. I tried to eat as much as I could so I didnt feel like my money was a waste but I just didnt like the food. Vegetarian options: Soy chow mein, Shanghai fried noodles

The food is good and I go there regularly but it can be hit and miss sometimes. Got the ginger chicken and the sauce was good but you could tell there was a bit too much vinegar in it.

Food was amazing, been looking for a good buffet and this hit the spot perfectly couldnt find one in Calgary so went looking in Airdrie . Glad we found it service was fantastic as well ! If you havent tried it give it a go !

Used to come here for lunch a lot. Food was always great along with the customer service. I was just at the buffet and left very disappointed. Most of the food was cold and bland. Some of the pieces of chicken were fresh but some had the texture of a rubber boot. You could barely chew through a piece. I paid 46$ for 2 people and did not tip. Instead of asking questions the lady who brought the bill repeated the total to me. I said yes 46$. She walked away angrily.

We come in every two or three months for the buffet and it always fulfills our craving for western Chinese food. The selection, though small, is constantly kept fresh. The ladies who serve us are always friendly and attentive. Wish there were a little more mushroom and veggies on the buffet but that wont keep us away. Overall a standard and tasty buffet that we come visit on occasion and will be back.

The chk fried rice smells like hamster cage. The pineapple sweet n sour chk balls came with no sauce. Food is cold. Never again will we ever spend our hard earned dollar. Its totally disgusting and gross. New years eve dinner is now in the garbage and we are ordering pizza. Thank you airdrie wok!!!

We usually get takeout and have the food at home but, tonight we opted to dine in. The restaurant is very clean, the buffet was delicious and the service is always excellent. Im not sure if its family run but, everyone is so kind. Definitely our go to.

We so rarely order out, it is a luxury, a real treat, a rarity...Imagine my Great Disappointment in the food! The chicken in dishes were so hard to chew... the toughest chicken I have ever tried to eat! Like old stewing chickens... My favourite, Almond soo gai, was not the usual golden layered, tender chicken, crusty almond delight.. It was really tough breaded deep fried difficult to chew unless you cut the pieces quite small chicken, and the chicken in the chop suey was even worse, its like glued plastic... a flavorless, weird texture and quite tough if thats even more possible. On the upside 2 of the 5 dishes were an enjoyable edible. The house special rice, and the egg rolls...I do not know if pre covid quality is lost, or whether this was alot of poorly selected tough chicken today!!! I am just so disappointed beyond belief! I feel that I waste good money on poor quality. I hear that using Skip the dishes and other delivery means results n restaurants paying 20 to 30% to these companies, I did not use these services, I paid Airdrie Woks 5$ delivery fee... I wish the tasty food we knew prior to 2020 was a current reality. I regretfully submit this review.

Expensive..Food was not that great ...As it being a buffet I helped my self ..They were always pushing you to see if your done .Small plates the size of a plate used for a slize of pie..Meat had a lot of fat hidden with there breaded coverings..Salty....As I was ready to pay I got one of there foutrtune cookies I paid my bill but left no tip..She looked at me and took the fourtune cookie back...she i think is the owner..Rude bad customer service...Never will I support my hard earned money to a place like this.

Hands down the best ginger beef Ive ever had. Chicken balls were huge chunks. Veggie cooked to perfection and tasted excellent. Spring rolls super crispy and fresh. Im not from Airdrie but will definitely return again. Ladies were sweet as well.

The food is and always has been good. The lady that poured our water was very disturbed we did not leave a tip. I told her we served ourselves ,buffet. And asked her what she did to get a tip. She pointed to the water glass. The bill was $46.00 for two. We are 75 years and the web site says seniors over 65 get 20% discount. No mention of that so I guess she got a $9.20 tip.Everyone feels so intitled. Pay me to do nothing Parking: Parking is good

Disappointed they charged us $8.99 for our 3 year who ate 3 pieces of jello. Put a sour taste in our mouths. Kid-friendliness: When the waitress sees and comments on a child only eating a couple pieces of jello and still charges full cost of a buffet meal I wouldn t call it kid friendly.

This is the second time we have been to this restaurant. The food and service is exceptional.

I love this place. When we lived in Airdrie, they knew us by name when wed order take out. We now live in Crossfield and will go back there for their buffet.

By far the best Chinese food place in Airdrie! Owner is so friendly and nice. The food is very tasty. And, you also get a free dish if you order above a certain amount. Food is also not overly salty. Food : 4/5

This is a buffet style restaurant. They did not have much selection for food and for fruits they only had watermelon that looked very stale and was discolored and pineapple (possible canned) did not taste fresh. And at the end of the dinner once we paid the bill they brought back the change and kept saying the tip was not included in the bill, even though the change that we got back was what we wanted to leave for the tip. We ended up having to add more money for the tip although the service wasnt fantastic.

Showed up 2hours after The internet said they opened. The waitress said I had an hour to wait until they served anything. She suggested take out. I ate elsewhere. Wheelchair accessibility: The door was very heavy

Just served me the worst thing ever in the name of ginger beef.

Chastised for not finishing every scrap on my plate and was quite pissed when I didnt tip.

Very few options to choose from, the taste was bland and many of the meat were too sweet, some of the food was burnt like the noodles, overall food was a disappointment. Regarding staff they were very rude when it came to tips, I gave them a 10$ tips and the lady still thought it was too little, then one of the staff threw the fortune cookie on my table and went away. Overall bad and do not recommend coming here.

The high amounts of MSG in the food made my mouth numb within the first couple bites.. I get MSG is a hunger suppressant, so customers will eat less, but the amount of MSG in their food should be criminal..

Among the Chinese foods I ate, I ate food that didnt have any sincerity. They said they would cook in their own kitchen, but the food they delivered was a little warm, lots of carrots and two heads of broccoli. There was countless pieces of seafood and dry noodles. I didnt want to pay. They should cook with more expertise.

I was so looking forward to finding a good Chinese food restaurant here in Airdrie. There are so many delicious cuisines out there and Airdrie houses a quite a few of them. My food took over an hour and a half to get to my residence, not to mention, the food was bland, and did not look like anything we were used to. We thought we could give a try as we read the reviews; it was not bad. It was hot and looked fresh until we ate some old chewy stinky meat. We also ordered beef chop suey, but we did not expect it to only have carrots and bean sprouts.

Weve visited Airdrie Wok the last two times we wanted buffet and each time it has been very nice. The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly and the food it fresh, tasty and well stocked. This is most definitely our favourite buffet restaurant.

We tried it a couple of weeks ago after our usual restaurant closed its doors we were really pleased with the qualty of the food.The only thing I would like to see onthe menu is Almond Gai Ding..Very happy to make this our new Chinese take out.

The food is amazing (as it always is) but the service wasnt great. Got the buffet, and they only filled my drink twice. I know it sounds picky but if Im serving myself food Id at least like to have some drinks brought to me. And its not like Im lazy and didnt want to grab drinks, they tell you that you are not allowed to get your own drinks. Kid-friendliness: They had a price that was cheaper for kids

Delicious buffet

We were craving some Canadian type Chinese food. I knew what I would be in for. This was exactly it. Food was fresh but uninspiring and lacked any real major flavour other than salt. Service was exactly what I thought it d be and expected, no frills and efficient. Not a unpleasant experience, but did not exceed expectations. It fulfilled my once a year craving.

Best Chinese in town! However, the website says they are Open and even gave Thanksgiving hours. And when you call, you can only leave a voicemail, it doesnt say anything about them being closed. So we know they are often open but so busy they cant pick up the phone due to demand because it is the BEST Chinese Food in Airdrie. So we drove there only to find out it is NOT open, as the website says, it was closed Sunday and Monday. This will not deter us from enjoying their delightful food. But this should be a warning not to trust the website and hours of operation.

Takeout dinner for one is a good deal, big portion size. Ordered option c which had sweet and sour pork, chicken and bean sprouts, fried rice, and a spring roll. The vegetables were not too oily which was nice. Delivery within airdrie is a flat rate of $5.

We went to this restaurant a few days ago. Having never been there before we were greeted very nicely and ordered the dinner for 2. The vegetable stir fry was excellent, cooked just right to leave the vegetables a bit crispy. Ginger beef and chicken fried rice were spot on and very tasty! We will definitely be back!

Hot n sour soup was tasteless, neither hot nor sour. Thick chicken noodles were even a greater disappointment . Despite of candid instructions to make the food spicy I end up eating bland n tasteless food. I might not consider ordering again from there.

This is the best Chinese food in Airdrie. My wife and I got dinner for 2 and we ve got a full meal of leftovers for both of us. The take out containers are actually good which is something if it needs a comment and the food tastes like more than just sauce! The ginger beef tastes like beef with a ginger sauce, the spring rolls actually have a distinguishable filling which tastes fresh and the veggies were cooked perfectly. The food was fast and the lady at the front was so nice. Like I said, BEST Chinese food ever.

I ordered delivery tonight around 4:30. They said it would be a hour and half which is fine it s what I was expecting, it s now past 7 not only are they not here, no one is picking up when I call the place. I will never try this place again

Pretty good as Chinese Food establishments go in Airdrie. Seems clean. Nice furniture. Very well waited on. Selection of food was okay, better than most places in Airdrie but not as good as some places in Calgary. Staff are extremely friendly and nice, which is where they are doing much better than other establishments. Based on price for the buffet. This is a great value. Food was fresh and great tasting. Cant go wrong with the buffet and hard to beat the price. I would go back.

Our family was visiting from out of town and wanted to go out for Chinese buffet. After researching places to eat in Airdrie we decided on Airdrie Wok. BIG MISTAKE. The food wasn t anything extraordinary as far as quality goes, which can be expected at any buffet.( dried out noodles, deep fried everything and only 2 vegetable dishes). It was the extremely rude waitress, however, that we had an issue with. Because it was a buffet and we serve ourselves, I didn t leave a tip. Let s make one thing clear...I usually always leave a nice tip whenever we go out. I was extremely embarrassed when it came time to pay and she asked me why there wasn t a tip for her. I have never heard of mandatory tipping at a buffet, as the waitresses usually only fill your water glasses and clear your plates off the table when your done. Hardly service above and beyond that s their job!!! Anyways, she stood at our table with her hand out demanding that we leave her a tip. Everyone in the restaurant was looking at our table as she was making a big scene. This is unacceptable as far as I m concerned. Your customers should never be belittled for not tipping, especially in front of everyone. After reading more of the reviews on this restaurant we discovered that we were not the only ones that this has happened to. This woman is not good for your business, Airdrie Wok, and should be fired, but I actually think she may have been the owners wife, which makes it all the more unbelievable. We will never come back to this place.

Wonderful lunch buffet, service is very friendly, I appreciate the fact that they had alot of buffet options that werent just deep fried. The chow mien is top notch, highly recommend if you like chow mien. Will return here again with my coworkers for ladies lunch!

Our family and friends love this place, Michael and I like it for date/break nights and the children love it for take out and game nights. even the grandparents love having it when they come over and they are picky, we order here alot and every time has been delicious. our familys know each other through the children growing up in the same schools and this family including the children are just amazingly nice and polite people thanks for the constant great prices, service and delivery AMBER

A cozy little dining experience. Buffet is standard, with LOTS of greasy, deep fried foods. Went 2 weeks in a row ans it was consistent. I wouldnt recommend this as an authentic asian experience, however the price is right at $15.99 per person

First time going there The server was okay We got the buffet deal Food was okay bit over cooked the sauce they taste all the time When it came to paid I decided not to tip and she was mouthing off saying that we didnt tip. Is actually a pretty decent all you can eat buffet. The staff are super friendly and they are quick to help you and clear you plates. The buffet food was well above average. I almost always judge a Chinese buffet by looking at the beef and broccoli. If the broccoli if wilted and all nasty looking I know its old and not rotated. Fresh food (it wasnt busy and still looked fresh,) great taste, friendly fast service and a reasonable price. - also right next to the cinema. 5 stars.

I have been going to Airdrie Wok for years. They have always (in my opinion) had the best Chinese food, the best selection, the best service and positive attitude of all the places Ive gone. They food is always fresh and delicious.

We ordered dinner for 4 last evening and I really would have liked to give a good review. The best thing about it was the shanghai noodles which we had substituted for the chicken fried rice. All dishes were very hard and crunchy they were overcooked and some of the chicken wings were unedible. We took a friends recommendation for this restaurant but we were very disappointed. Will be sticking to our usual restaurant
