Really great pizza, the crust, cheese and toppings are just right.

Generous serving sizes, the bread is soft, the cheese is plenty, and there are many vegetarian options :) The good folks here are very welcoming :)) Vegetarian options: Many :)

We ordered a chicken pizza at Vapiano for takeout for our family evening. They made us a pizza with ham on it, we were shocked to see when we opened the box for dinner. Upon calling at the store the female said I am a new employee and it s my first day. The other lady asked me to come pick up another pizza in a snowy evening with my toddler. They should have given me a store credit or refund. Very unprofessional. Ruined our evening. I had to order dinner from other place then. Wasted my money, time and spoiled everyone s mood

Absolutely delighted with this little gem, locally owned restaurant, the pizza is just amazing, their Funghi with garlic and chilli oil are on point... Pasta is good as well. Customer service is outstanding... I will be a repeat customer and this is not*a paid*review Please do give it a try!

Don t be fooled by the rating and good reviews. I agree with the other negative reviews of owner being offensive and disrespectful. The 4.6 rating must have come from paid or fake reviews. We ordered napoli pasta and felt it was still raw. It lacked the texture and flavor that we expected. We brought this up with the owner and he said it can t be. He was adamantly disagreeable to the point that he asked us to learn what Al Dente pasta is before ordering. Instead of addressing our feedback, he dismissed it and suggested I needed to learn more about this style of cooking. It felt condescending and unprofessional. The owner lacks any sense of customer service and combined this with poor food quality, we won t be returning again. May be he should learn how to deal with the customers before running any business.

I am SO pleased with the service we received from the lovely people at Vapianos this evening! My husband and I were driving home from Calgary to Airdrie and I was very hungry. We checked to see if our favourite pizza spot in Airdrie was open and we had a 40 minute window before they closed. We called and the person who helped us on the phone was so patient and helpful! We got a 14 Margherita pizza and my husband decided to order pasta as well. We werent looking at a menu as we were in the car driving, but again, the lady on the phone was so patient and told us what options they had. We ended up ordering linguine with rosé sauce with Italian sausage to go with our pizza. The food was ready VERY quickly and it was DELICIOUS! Thank you again to the wonderful staff at Vapiano!

Having Amazing experience tasty food and great service must visit

I have been going here at least once a month since I moved to Airdrie in January 2024. Ill admit the Indian men who work here are not very polite; however, the Indian women are. Nevertheless, the customer service doesnt take away from the food. Usually, I order the Margherita and Prosciutto Di Parma Arugula Pizza. Its always taste great, and it is consistency made the same way. Its always a nice thin crust. Dont listen to the bad reviews. The people that write them are the same ones that think Pizza Hut & Dominos are good, and believe Kraft Dinner is a tasty pasta dish.

Everything is also very fairly priced. The staff are all very kind. I love going here and recommend it to everyone I know!

Ordered from here for the first time through Uber for delivery to Calgary. I ordered the Alla Casa and it was one of the best pastas that I ve had in a long time. The sauce tastes authentic and they put in a generous portions of the toppings. The real bacon is absolutely amazing, it adds so much to the dish!! Oh and the portions are huge, I definitely have leftovers! The only thing I can say is that the bread doesn t compliment the meal. It would be nice to get some olive oil and balsamic or even just butter. But that s minor, one of the most delicious meals I ve had in a long time! Thank you!!

I hate to give a bad review because I feel like maybe this is a locally owned franchise...but the food here is not good and I agree with the other negative reviews that the 4.7 rating has to have come from fake or paid reviews. As others said, the food is bland and poor quality, youre better off buying a delissio from the grocery store. I feel like there is maybe some real cheese on it but it feels like its cut with fake cheese (think cheese wiz of cheese slice type stuff) to bring the cost down for the restaurant. I got a super Hawaiian pizza and if it had ham on it there were maybe two tiny pieces of ham on the two slices I ate. If this restaurant is locally owned, I do wish the owners the best and that they can get out of the contract soon.

Pram was exceptional with customer serrvice. I would rate her 6/5 if I could. Food was a larger quantity and quality than expected. We will definitely be returning, primarily due to Pram.

This place blew my expectations through the roof! The food is amazing, and I cant compliment the service enough. Preet was lovely right from the moment I called to ask if they offered both takeout and dine-in. She is so kind and patient, and she talked to us with a smile throughout. I will definitely go back!!!

Insanely rude staff member at the front, the punjabi guy on the front. Unprofessional and disrespectful to customers. Not just me but others as well. Do not recommend dealing with that guy at all. Try to find the women handling the customers as she is courteous and friendly to not just customers but also delivery people, unlike the guy. Edit : As the owner is trying to point out, I was not the delivery person as mentioned. I was a bystander with my family witnessing the bizarre scenario taking place and found it extremely unwelcoming and unpleasant environment. Disdainful behaviour to another person.

The perfectly thin rust pizza cant be beat!

The food is amazing. I had a Quattro formaggi pizza customized to have a cream sauce. It was incredible. We also had the Hawaiian tortellini and it s possibly the best new thing I have tried in a long, long time! Good job!! Everyone was so nice !

Tasty food.. a few flaws with some dishes. Undercooked, raw clumped pasta, large lumps of grizzle mixed into the meat on the pizza. Regardless of their friendly approach when it was brought to the attention of the staff they didnt seem care and they didnt take accountability.

As a first time customer I will say this is a true never judge a book by its cover. When you walk in and see the restaurant from the front door, it looks like every other fastfood joint. However, once you come around the counter to the order area youll be delighted to see a full tiny kitchen with chefs and pans and the whole kit. Everyone greeted me and every other guest as they came in. The food was fresh, tasty, well prepared, hot, delicious and a very good serving size. If you like Italian food and dont have lots of time or money then The Vapiano is the place you need to find yourself. I gave only four stars because the gluten free pasta was under cooked and the sauce on the dish ordered was runny. I dont want to say it was bad because the flavor was spot on and the other ingredients were amazing, just the two notes. Eat here, you will be full, satisfied, and wanting more

Ive been on the hunt for good pizza for quite some time, but while discovering their amazing pizza, I also discovered the best bread sticks Ive ever had! I usually get bread sticks with pizza because Im picky and usually opt for bread sticks over most pizza. To my surprise this place exceeds my standards with both! Ive went back for bread sticks 3 days in a row and go back for them regularly. The staff are also always so kind and welcoming! I tell everyone about this place!

We have ordered takeout from here a couple times now. The food is a bit pricey at first glance but you get what you pay for here. Weve ordered their pizza and pasta and each time. They have seating inside to eat but I always take the food to enjoy at home and I like the idea of getting high quality food thats tastes like a home-cooked meal and not just deep friend chicken or whatever. I will add that the service is also exceptional with them being fast and friendly each time. This place is new but makes it to the top of my list for airdrie so far.

Had already ordered their pizza and it was amazing. Today we went to the actual place with high hopes and it was even better than expected. The lady was extremely nice and friendly to us, and the food was both delicious and had big portions. Its the best restaurant weve been to since we moved to Calgary. We come from a country whose cuisine is heavily influenced by Italian food and even by our standards the food was great.

The customer service was really good, when you enter a nice person welcomes you and walks you on what they have and how to order. The food, while its not bad, its not fresh. The tomato sauce has a store bought taste, the pasta is not made in house nor is it fresh. The chicken for the chicken parmigiana also is not fresh. Be advised, when looking at the pizza menu, if they do not disclose the pizza has tomato sauce, they will NOT put tomato sauce on the pizza. Their pizza dough was good. Their prices are friendly.

The pricing is reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes. My daughter, who is quite critical about pizza, said her kids pizza was the best pizza she has ever had!

Ordered delivery. 2 out of 3 items missing. Bread was inedible, it was so hard. I microwaved it to try to soften it up. That didnt even work. Sausage was really greasy. Wont order in again. Store bought Olivieri gnocci was equally as good ** I did order delivery, and know not to expect the freshest meal

File this under C for COMPOST. Garbage. Crispy golden wings are food service chicken pieces. Don t categorize them as wings and sell boneless nuggets. Pizza Buns aka day old Superstore baguettes cut up served with butter. Nothing pizza about them. Pasta is a flaming hot microwaved joke. Clearly a food delivery pop up that won t survive. Don t waste your time, appetite, or money.

Amazing meal. Shared a few items and all were packed with flavour and great portions. Tried the gnocchi gorgonzola, bolognese pasta, chicken parmesan and spinach and feta pizza. Will be going back!

Super disappointing. Ordered gnocchi was not homemade and way over cooked the sauce was completely watered down and supposed to be Alfredo. If you re going to advertise Italian food maybe be more clear with your customers it s not homemade and very store bought. Pizza was ok very thin and not flavourful.

Super awesome service, they brought the pizza straight over to the brewery next door, asked about which oil finish I wanted on my pizza and gave some advice when I wasn t sure. Quality food at a good price. Definitely not a high end Italian place but it isn t trying to be. You d be much happier here than Via Cibo as an example with good daily specials. They don t have much of a dine in option, but you can and they ll bring your food to you. The staff were very nice and it was a very busy place for takeout and skip. Worth a try!

We ve ordered from Vapiano s a few times and we just keep on wanting to come back. The prices are great and the portions too. Our favourite is the pepperoni pizza (the Margherita is also really good!). The crust is thin, a bit crispy and the sauce is really flavourful. It s just all around great. And the customer service is always good! A must try and must come back too!

If you like authentic Italian food, stay clear of this place. Low quality, expensive, and zero taste. Boston Pizza is more authentic then this place and at least they are honest about their food quality and pricing. My whole family was disappointed.

So far Ive only been a few times. They have a nice lunch and Tuesday pasta specials and the pasta doesnt make you feel heavy after eating. Generous portions and pretty tasty. The woman at the counter is very friendly and welcoming. Im happy to report too that the chicken add on is actually chicken pieces and not that fake grilled pre-made chicken. Definitely gonna try the rest of the menu some day, but the pastas have been too addictive.

The best traditional carbonara in Airdrie! We love Italian food, and the chef nicely makes the traditional carbonara when we come by. You should try it. My 6yo also enjoyed his linguini with red sauce. The price is fair as well. Grazie!!!

Probably the best pizza I ve ever had ( add the garlic oil) !!

We order from there after reading reviews. It s one of the worst place I order from. The food isn t Italian quality. It look like frozen food that they just reheat. It s supper salty and no taste I will never recommend that place for sure. If you think this is Italian food you never had a good Italian . 50$ for a margarita pizza 3 Frozen meet balls and a little salad that look like the one you buy in bags ready to eat from the grocery I rader pay for quality then pay that much to through the whole order in garbage

Tried this food last night for the first time. Ordered gnocchi and 3 pasta dishes. Absolutely phenomenal! Every bite was a taste sensation! Cant wait to have this food again!

The food was scrumptious, fresh, hot! The lady running the place was friendly and knowledgeable. She showed my son how to roll the right amount of spaghetti on his fork! My little family truly enjoyed our lunch at this great little restaurant.

Such incredible food! We enjoyed the gluten free Penne Baked Pasta Casserole and it was outstanding! We complimented the sauce especially as the tomato flavours were so fresh and learned all of their sauces are made from scratch in house! 13-39 on their menu can be made gluten free with GF penne as well! The service was outstanding as well, our hostess/server was so kind and knowledgeable for our question and generally just an amazing personality! Will definitely be coming back to try more soon! Also worth mentioning the prices are VERY reasonable! Dietary restrictions: #13-39 pastas can be made gluten free by substituting GF penne. All sauces made from scratch in house on freshly cleaned surfaces! Pasta Casserole was perfect to satiate our 2 year GF lasagna craving!

Loved the pasta

We visited the resturant on our way to Calgary last Friday. The owner is very friendly, made us feel very welcome and answered all our questions before ordering the food. We ordered vegetarian pizza and it was super delicious. We will definately be visiting this place again on our trip to calgary. It is a must try.

This is our favorite spot for pizza and pasta. My kids love everything, especially the meatballs. The Margherita pizza and hangover pizza are both delicious.

Vegetarian options: Amazing food, great vegetarian options. I met the owners aswell and they are so friendly people. We wanted to know more about Airdrie, places to visit and how is it when compared to Calgary, Param was so helpful in that as well. Definitely one of my favorite place in Airdrie and I strongly recommend everyone to try anything from the plathora of options! Fries had no proper seasoning lacked salt and parmesan. Pasta was bland needed salt and pepper. They missed to give us one order. Stuffed bun with mozzarella and jalapeño was so so.

Vapiano blew me away! While I am usually not a fan of Italian food, their penne with chicken curry sauce was one of the most delicious pasta dishes I ve had. The prices are reasonable, especially if you take advantage of the specials. If you are looking for a local restaurant with friendly service, Vapiano is the place for you!

The food was a bit of a roller coaster. The meatballs were excellent, the pizza was decent, but the lasagna was a miss, way too runny and quite bland. The servers, while friendly, had to be prompted. No water service provided and we had to ask for plates for both appetizers and mains...Pizza arrived with no plates. Would be interesting to try other pasta dishes.

OMGGGGGG So .. I love to cook and I make a MEAN spaghetti. Not traditional at all. Was late to get home today to cook. 2 out of my 4 kids wanted spag so of course I had to deliver. Usually with take out Italian I get dry noodles, not enough sauce and barely enough for a HUGE family. I called and told the owner how I made it and DID SHE EVER DELIVER . I will NEVER order Italian food anywhere else. She called me a couple times to make sure it was exactly how I wanted it. It was perfect, delicious, saucy, tons of noodles and she is sooooo friendly and personable!!! Thank you thank you!!!!!

I brought my daughters here for lunch a few weeks ago and they haven t stopped talking about how good it was. The food was all freshly made to order and was delicious. We all had different pastas and sauce combinations so we got to try a few different things and it was hard to pick a favourite. The service was great and super friendly. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful experience here. It was such a pleasant surprise to find such flavorful and authentic Italian food restaurant nestled in the little city of Airdrie.. Garlic bread was the show stopper for us. It was perfectly baked , crunchy outside and light and fluffy inside. Pastas were well made with just the right flavors and cooked al dente. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Really wasn t a huge fan of the marg pizza, or the Alfredo pasta. Both just tasted super oily and a little bit bland in my opinion. I ordered through skip the dishes and the food came fast and was piping hot so I ll give it that. I ll prob give them another shot and try a different pizza along with a different pasta, maybe a red sauce instead like the lasagna. But for now I m rating it as fairly average. I mean it s a good bang for your buck, but nothing special

Ive driven past so many times and been wanting to try it, now Im mad I waited so long! Had a lovely lunch - the pasta was incredible, as well as the garlic bread sticks, you can tell it was made with love! This is some of the best Italian Ive had in a long time! The service was also incredible, everyone is so kind and friendly, and always was checking in to make sure everything was up to standard! I will be coming back again, and again, and again! Thank you for a lovely lunch! Excited to try the rest of the menu!

Best Alfredo I have had in a long time , would definitely recommend ! Very generous with the amount of pasta and chicken for the price . The pizza buns were amazing as well with the herb butter ( ate half of it already in the photo )

Delicious food. They were quite busy but were happy to take my walk in order and prepared it in 15 min. My wife loved the tortellini a la panna, and I had a great pizza. The crust was really good and not tough, with excellent toppings. Thank you!

I thought this was a vaping store. I m so glad to learn tonight that we can get Italian take out food in airdrie. There are several things that I look forward to trying in the future. Great spot for picking up some takeout while staying in the area. We had the Italian sausage and gnocchi gargonzola. Both were delicious and would go back. Prices very reasonable.

Think everyone writing these reviews have never had real pasta or they re fake reviews. Just got an order of Alfredo pasta along with Sausage & red sauce penne. Alfredo has no flavour and red sauce smells an tastes like marinara sauce. We an Italian household and my 5 year old refused to eat either pastas. Worst 50$ spent. Honestly would have rather McDonald s over this place.
