This honestly upsets me to write this as I freaking love Mucho but last nights order left us extremely disappointed with customer service or lack there of I should say. We placed our order at 5:30pm. I kept checking my Uber Eats app for delivery time and it kept getting delayed, delayed and delayed. Finally, the last delay that said delivery was after eight we called to see what was going on and at the same time I’m on the phone with them, the Uber eats driver calls and says he’s there to pick up our order but they are closed and Mucho is stating someone came and picked our order up at 6:30pm and it was two orders….I only had placed one order and the Uber Eats app never updated to say that it was being picked up nor did we even have a driver assigned to pick up. The Uber delivery driver was just as confused as we are as they don’t have record of anybody picking up our order at 6:30pm. The fact that they took that long without any notification that they didn’t want to make the order, order was over $100, And then lied about it and said someone else picked it up?? Super freaking disappointed, and even though I love their food, I will never give them my money again. Shout out to Uber Eats For fully refunding our order and being diligent with handling this matter.
Ordered their food for a small event and it was amazing!! Very easy to work with and a great amount of food. Definitely recommend!

I've generally had a good experience at this location however this evening was extremely disappointing. Both individuals working around 6pm were being very skimpy on the ingredients adding far less then others at this location have in the past as well as less than other locations in the Calgary area. Also, there was two of us getting a burrito and the man was so rushed, even though there was no one else in the store behind us, that he was messing up because he was trying to make both burritos at the same time as fast as possible. While the rush may be due to take out orders, if this is the case then staffing is obviously inadequate for the business and needs to be addressed. If I ever walk in to see the tall man or the shorter middle aged women working I'll be walking out immediately. The only saving grace of this location and the reason this review isn't one star is the younger women who works here who always makes an absolutely killer burrito so props to her.
Updated on: March 24 April 27 I absolutely LOVE a good burrito! The staff are generally friendly but not overly talkative. Perfect place for introverts to grab food but you might want to order it for delivery if you have noise sensitivity! There is a youngish woman there that I'm excited to see working when I go because she makes the best burritos! THANK YOU to her for always mixing the filling well! Perfectly swaddled bundles of joy this woman delivers to you! Avoid going when the tall guy and the angry older middle aged woman are working if you can. They are stingy on the toppings, don't mix the toppings well, and don't grill the burrito long enough. Ordering Opinions: Definitely get rice, beans, and veggies if you like all of those things! Personally I don't love bell peppers so I don't get the veggies at the start. Both bean types are good so you can't go wrong with either choice! I always get the Carnitas meat which is amazing! My partner loves the Chorizo meat. You can add lettuce as a topping if you ask, they just keep it under the counter for space/temp reasons. I love corn, so I usually get double corn as a topping choice, but recently the corn hasn't been very good so I've been hesitant. The citrus slaw and pickled onions are good choices too. The Burrito sauce is great no matter what burrito you make! My partner loves the Habanero Garlic sauce. I usually go with medium salsa but the hot salsa isn't too bad if you like spice. They have a rotating menu each season which changes a couple of the toppings for some nice variety! Jarritos are the best thing under the sun! Amazing flavours to choose from! If you want a less sweet option Grapefruit and Tamarind are perfect! If you like sweet things then I'd definitely suggest Mango or Guava! Of course the classic cola is a must at some point in your Jarritos journey! The churros and dulce de leche were great when I had them a few years ago! Suggestions: My only thought would be that the music is a bit overwhelmingly loud. This makes it hard to think when ordering and hard to hear the staff without both sides basically yelling. I love the music choices but maybe it could be turned down just a smidge for a more inclusive and stress free environment.
I've eaten a burrito bowl from here twice in the past couple of weeks. I now feel I have to have these in my life weekly! They are as close to a perfect burrito bowl as I've been able to find since moving to AB 8 years ago... the only thing missing (personal preference only!) is a bit of mashed sweet potato :) Thanks for a delicious meal (that ends up being enough food for 2 meals!)
Great place to make a custom burrito. Their burritos here taste amazing, and unique in taste. The food is served hot, and the staff are also pretty friendly at this restaurant. The restaurant itself is also very clean, and I love the look this place went for. Great experience here.

Easily the worst mucho around. Live in airdrie but will drive to Calgary or cross iron if I want mucho. This location is beyond stingy. They try and load your burrito with extra rice and then cheap out on toppings. Also the only location that will try and charge you for guac on a mucho (suppose to be included).
By far the cheapest portion of protein is is given here. Ive been to locations all around Calgary and man this place skimps you out on their protein portion size like crazy I was baffled . I got like 2-4 small pieces of chicken is total

Extremely cheap, on all ingredients except rice, I would say not even half the amount of chicken or cheese of other Mucho burritos. I would happily drive to Calgary if I wanted a burrito. Worst service by far of any Mucho! AVOID! Food
Ordered a large chicken burrito and barely got any chicken. The staff are clearly trained to save and not serve. The girl making my burrito didn t hesitate to let out an obvious, loud sigh when I asked for more cheese as she applied the equivalent to crumbs. I should have watched her make the Not-So-Chicken Burrito but I trusted they wouldn t scam me but bite after bite I noticed the lack of chicken and the tremendous presence of rice. This place sucks, considering Walmart is right beside this location do yourself a favour and get a meat of your choice and an Old El Paso kit and pretend this place never existed.
I ordered a bowl. They built it with 3 massive scoops of rice and about half a scoop of meat. The veggies were overcooked. I got about halfway through it, chucked it in the garbage and went elsewhere for food. I feel ripped off - definitely will not return.
Tired of seeing non GMO cookies and Brownies and vegan cheese marketing. No different than calling vegetable based products meat. Expensive restaurant.

I usually live Mucho burrito and get the burrito bowls often. This locations needs to get their staff trained on portioning. Dried out chicken sitting for a while and that too half a scoop of chicken on a 14$ burrito bowl is just plain disappointment.

Nothing like a mucho and a beer
I am regular customer for Mucho Burrito and I would prefer this location because preparation for my Burrito was done very nicely. Komal prepared by Burrito and i am super happy with her customer service.
Such a rip off, you spend $15 for salad and literality 4 small chunks of chicken. will never buy food from here again. Not enough vegies either. She put lot sauce.
This is one nice and clean place. The staff is always welcoming and prepare your food accurately to the order specified ( usually I order online) . The foods is always ready on time , just pick up and go , no waiting. Great ambience , keep it guys!! .

This place use to be great. They constantly give me burritos that are under filled now when I m ordering mucho size burritos. Regular sized burritos that are suppose to be mucho is not what I m paying for. Forgetting items on the order not putting in extra toppings and sauce when I ask for them. Unacceptable when I m paying 17$ for a burrito and getting 12$ worth of poorly cared for food. Would not recommend.
I stopped going here a long time ago. This used to be a good review but I am changing it because my experience was... Islamophobic, on the staffs part. And so I wont ever go again.

Mucho Burrito is such a great restaurant for any meal of the day. Their food is sooo fresh, flavorful and there are many different variety of food. I recommend here because they are also kid inclusive, vegan/ vegetarian and have meat options. Their portions are also extremely filling and delicious. The workers are also extremely kind and helpful thank you.
Pretty good tacos they have fresh shells/tortillas not greasy at all so it doesnt feel heavy after you finish eating.

The girls at the Airdrie location are amazing! My husband and I regularly visit this location. They have always been accommodating as I specially request my veggies to be the raw veggies. They know how to make a mean burrito! They always load it up nice and full, they also mix the burrito before they fold it up and grill it! They also grill mine a bit longer at my request with no trouble! Best burrito slingers out there!!
Why would you put pickled onions on a quesadilla??? Why? It s so tragic!!! Just sauté the onions with the peppers like it s supposed to be! Please stop the madness!!!
Received incredible service from Ifrah today. I typically order the Shrimp Burrito so I have become accustomed to having to wait extra time for preparation, but this was the most positive experience I have had. She asked if I was fine to wait the extra time and could have a seat while I waited. I was disappointed that I couldn t add a tip to my payment and unfortunately wasn t carrying cash. Thanks so much Ifrah for a great customer experience and the burrito was worth the wait!

Went in for a chicken bowl last week and the lady but way too much sauce, to the point where is was disgusting. Yesterday I decided to try this location one last time through skip the dishes. The sauce was swimming in my bowl. Had to throw out my entire meal that cost me over $22 though skip the dishes. Disappointed

The burrito was freshly made, and had to wait maybe 30 seconds for fresh hot rice. I have no problem waiting a little bit of extra time for ingredients fresh right out of the cooker. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean, as we ate in. One thing I really appreciate with this location is once you have made up your burrito as you want it, the staff do their best to mix up the toppings before wrapping it and putting it in the panini press. Personally this sets Mucho Burrito apart from others, and when you are enjoying your burrito you dont just get a bit of just rice, meat or what ever but a nice mix of all the topping in most of your bites. Keep you the great work!
I have to say the Gal who was working hard by herself?? Was very good...she kept it together and did the BEST job she could... She was handling EVERYTHING. But WHY was she all by herself?? I have to chastise Management and Ownership for this...completely unacceptable...2 Workers at ALL times would be more useful and serve Customers better wouldnt it?? Especially at Lunch and Dinner Hours?? As a result? I was not happy with my Order today due to the Food/Condiments not being Fresh enough ....the Rice in my Burritos was very hard and not very edible among other items...not Worth the $40 I had to spend.. Very disappointed....not with the Employee or her Service? She was absolutely great...but very disappointed in Management/Ownership... It will be awhile till I come back to that Airdrie establishment.

I was at this location for the very first time, Ifrah made my visit worth it! She was very patience with me and my kids, she even suggested me to go for ghost pepper buritto because I like spicy food and I must say it I loved it.

Quesadilla wasnt prepped well all the black bean water was in the box which made the quesadilla soggy and for a veggie it costs $10.50 not worth buying UNLESS your looking for a vegetarian choice. We visited with our family about a week ago. We were served by Ifrah. The store was just closed as we walked in past 8pm but she was so welcoming and told us that we can come in, we were 7 people all together. We really appreciate her staying late for us, best customer service ever.

Best food and fast service
The staff member serving us obviously didnt care about the fact that I asked for gluten free food. Got all the way to the end of ordering tacos and found out that both the protein and sauce Id asked for were not actually gluten free, even though Id asked specifically for gluten free at the beginning of the process. There were no indications on the overhead menu so youre completely reliant on the person making your food to tell you whats what. Definitely would not recommend for anyone who has allergies, sensitivities, or any other specific food requirements.

The quality has gone downhill over the past year, tonight was just gross. Been a customer since opening and used to go at least once a month until about a year ago, recently its a lot less but now will be moving on.

I dont know how there are even half decent reviews here. The food portions were horrible. Staff was crazy rude, didnt even ask what I wanted on my tacos... The guy just put cheese on it and huffed and puffed when I asked for lettuce or cheese. He obviously did not want to be there.
The staff was friendly however, I did NOT enjoy my salad. It was super soggy, as if the lettuce had been sitting in water and its just not something Id ever get again. It just grossed me out beyond anything. In addition, I felt like it was really over priced. a taco salad just down the street is almost half the price and in my opinion, way better quality. Sorry, but I cant recommend this place for salads. I havent tried their barritos so I cant comment on those.
Best hot sauces out of any Mexican chain. And the ghost pepper burrito (limited to certain promos and not avail all the time) is mankindsbsingle greatest achievement.

Very little meat. This is consistent with this location. The one in Country hills has set the expectation for food quality and service. I didnt get vegies but asked for the cabbage and there was approximately a tbsp put on and I had to ask for more and a few slices of cabbage were added. Very disappointed.
Excellent restaurant for those with food sensitivities. I have many foods I cannot eat but was able to eat here. The staff member knew all of the ingredients used in each item down to the exact spices. So helpful! And it was delicious!

I have been to this restaurant 1st time and I find the lady was not giving enough portions and it was not as delicious as I have had at the 64th Ave deerfoot mall Calgary franchise. She also did not warm the tortilla long enough and it was chewy. She didnt offer the salsa with the chips and my sons burrito was very small and not cooked as well. I prefer going to the deerfoot mall restaurant.

I came here today and got my usual (shrimp burrito) and wasnt very happy with it (I love love mucho but was very dissappointed today) the salsa I had them put on it was like eating pure vinagar, I have always put the same items in my burrito everytime Ive went there. It was beyond bitter thats all I seemed to be able to taste, not a good visit this time for sure.
I had given this establishment a rating of 3 originally as the food did not taste fresh and the ingredients appeared to have been out all day, as they were changing color, more than likely from being out all day. I am changing my rating to a 1 since I am 99% confident that I got food poisoning from eating here. I unfortunately spent all weekend confined to my bed in close proximity of a washroom with hot flashes, sweats and stomach cramps. I dont believe Ill be tempting fate and eating at this establishment again.

When I came to buy a burrito for my first time here. I was greeted by a wonderful young lady named Tanya I believe. She was super helpful and provided me with great service and awesome food. In my opinion she was the best one there and helped me so much. Thank you Tanya and thank you Mucho burrito for your awesome food.

Staff is great, very friendly and knowledgeable! Clean interior, fresh ingredients and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Love the food, have been getting burritos here for a few years, but disappointed that in spite of having $9.00 plus in points on my account, the staff ive dealt with dont seem able to figure out how to redeem them? (They can see them on my account slip though) hope the owner responds & can help!
Their food is always really fresh and delicious. Ive been to other Mucho Burrito locations and some of them have a limited menu and seem to be out of things often. This location always has a good variety and selection and theyve never been out of anything that I wanted. Their staff are efficient. Highly recommend.
I ordered the Build your own burrito bowl catering option for 25 people to be delivered to our staff break room down the road at RONA. (Dec 12 2018) The guys were 10 minutes ahead of schedule (allowing our 5am morning crew to eat on time!), carrying in a seemingly never ending amount of food. The presentation, quality and quantity where an amazing value. Our expectations where exceeded! Hot meats & fresh veggies, sauces, dips and chips. Even serving utensils were provided with the napkins, bowls and cutlery! My staff and managers were satisfied and impressed. Thanks Airdrie Mucho Burrito! We will do this again!
