Always a great service and good food

The service here is fantastic and staff are friendly

Went in for a bite on Sunday, sat at the bar. Did get asked be a skinny dude what I would like. Ordered a beer and a double whisky neat. Asked if I would like a menu, and I said yes. Over the next hour I was not even acknowledged. There was a kid sitting at the bar who just got off shift, he was asked if he was hungry needed food. Meanwhile, there was four people working g the lounge side with less than ten people in it. All the staff was hundling around the POI talking about this drama that had had happened in the back. Again and again and again. Finally the scrawny bartender comes by after 50 minuteus and asks Would you like some food? I was almost done my drinks and just said No, Im good at this point. I finally ask why did it take you 50 minutes to ask if I wanted food? And he says Oh generally, people just ask us if they want food to which I ask asked Have you taken your ProServe?and he just says Yeah. So after this about 5 staff and standing around at the the terminal again. I just said Hey, can I talk to you all for a moment? And they did all acknowledge and came over. I said Maybe, if you all spent as much time talking about the drama in the back of the house, as you did worrying about the customers in the front of the house, you might all maybe do better. And this skinny bartender with a sleeve on his left arm starts chirpping me. Doesnt apologize, doesnt try to difuse anything, too busy looking cool in front of his girl co workers to care about a customer. If you want to go to a resturant, and see kid learning how to interact with the world, go here

Just a great place to eat

i went to here expexting to have a normalnight then found a piece of plastic in my food and they were so nice about it especially our server Nolan im a kid and when he asked me for a cookie i had the biggest smile and they gave me free kids meal en out of ten hands down

Great meal as usual. Server was prompt and courteous.

After 10 minutes of waiting, we asked the customer front of the line what wait time she was quoted. Her response, No clue. No one has talked to me. Not even a hello. Our experience was no different. A long wait with no hello, no taking of names or party sizes and no quoted wait times. There appeared to be deliberate avoidance of eye contact as staff bounced from front of house to back. The desire of employees to serve was noticeably absent. Only when sat were we informed food would be longer than normal. Our waitress s quoted time informed us that we wouldn t receive food until kids needed to get ready for bed. We left without food, crying children in tow. Staff here is either overworked, understaffed, poorly trained or mismanaged. Were it not for a couple kind waitresses, this would be a 1 star.

We ordered over $150 worth of food for a family dinner takeout from this restaurant. When we got our order, we ordered 3 mac&cheese, and got 2, we ordered 3 smokey mountain spaghettis and got 4, some spaghettis only had 1 meatball (for $24 ????), a specialty gluten free pasta was really small & had very little sauce, and the side of grilled chicken was rock hard. Youd think with such a large order, they would be extra careful? Nope. Do not recommend ordering from here at all.

First time coming here today. And its kinda busy as it Saturday. All I can say is understaff and slow service. The food is OK.

Sunday evening at BPs in Airdrie they have a magician working that entertained our whole family while we waited for food. His jokes cracked up the whole table and the amazing balloon art left the kids buzzing all night long. We will be returning on Sundays simply for the experience! Well played Boston Pizza.

We came in Sunday evening for a birthday dinner. We met the Incredible Magicus who made an awesome balloon animal for each of the kids, kept the adults laughing, and made the wait time between ordering and receiving our meal fly by. We will definitely be coming back regularly with the kids to see him!

Great service, great food even though we showed up late in the evening everything was delicious and the service was really good as well. Definately dont hesitate to stop at this location!

Unmatched hospitality, ou group of 4 got caught in the rain without riding gear, we hit the lounge leaving a lake of water on the floor and the wait staff and management hooked us up with hot food and dry clothing, along with a spot next to the heater to dry out our gloves. Great experience, will visit any time were through!

So here we are, riding from Edmonton to Montana, through what we thought would be roughly 1mm of rain that was a lie. We slithered into the lounge like a group of water snakes, dripping water everywhere and frozen to the bone. The General Manager and Bartender were beyond hospitable, they offered drinks right away, brought us some old merch they had in the back so we could get warm and dry. Let us hang up out soaking wet gear near the radiant heater, it was our little slice of heaven for the 2 hours we were there. Thank you so much for the great experience. Go Oilers

So the dining room side has been hit and miss. The bar side as far as service goes has always been exceptional. Just the family side we have had issues in the past. As far as food goes, its your typical B.Ps it has great dishes, great drink options, all pretty well priced as well

Ordered pizza and lasagna for delivery. There were many issues. First the delivery driver sat out front for about 5 minutes then drove around. After about 6 or 7 minutes he called me- I told him I am standing outside waiting for the order. He turned around and parked in front and o was surprised to see a car full of people including two young children- one of whom was holding my food! I asked the driver if it s within policy to have a car full of people when you are delivering food and to have a child hold my food. He said yes it s fine that s my grandma Oh ok? I took my food and things got worse. Food is cold and is not complete. Also the biggest disappointment is the Meteor pizza what a joke it s more like a pebble pizza! Barely any cheese or toppings! I also should not I believe in tipping and automatically added 15%. The order came to over $75! What garbage. Absolutely the worst food in Airdrie and worst delivery. Thanks for having my food cold and unhygienic! Gross!

My only downside to my visit is that I wore shorts and stuck to the seat.

Mom travelling through with 2 kids. You gave us two kids menus when we were seated. Server told me my 9yr daughter could order off the kids menu but my 11yr old daughter Couldn t. That s why you get the one star. If your kid is 9 or 11 , it s a child. You ruined our experience in the first 10min. Won t be back.

Go on a Sunday for the magic ballon man!! We ended up at the old location once by coincidence when the magician was working but he s now here and this location has been my 3 kids number one place to eat out since. We go here for each of their birthdays and they spend at least a week deciding what balloon creation to get. I ll probably go here for my own birthday too just because it s a guaranteed good time for the entire family on a Sunday night. Most of the time we do pizza or a sandwich and the food has been consistently good for the most part but thankfully the summer menu just started and we could try something new because the adults were getting a bit tired of the same old thing. Because we only go on Sunday we haven t tried o any other daily specials. Great service from Maddie and the cat robot and managers always seem to have a presence in the dining area.

Food was good, and served very quickly after ordering - almost like they had it ready? But they seemed a bit short staffed, and did not attend to us very quickly. To be fair, it was after 10 PM and we were the only customers in the restaurant, while they had several to attend to in the lounge.

I always like going to BP when I visit Canada. Pretty much always order the Boston Brute. I think why I always go is because of the consistency. Just about any BP you go to, the food is always the same. That consistency means if you like what you got at one location, youll like it at another. Few restaurants have this piece today.

Always good, always consistent

Havent been to Boston Pizza in Airdrie since it moved from the old location. Decided to give them a try tonight. The service was fantastic! Very friendly server, all allergy questions answered well. 10/10! Unfortunately the food was nowhere near as good as the service, nor as good as it was at the old location. My (adult) son had the mushroom truffle burger. The truffle sauce was so salty he barely got it down. I had the nachos. The homemade chips were good, but all the cheese and toppings were on top, piled in the middle, and that was it - there was hardly any around the edges at all and it was definitely not layered through the chips. All-in-all, quite disappointing.

Our server was really good, the nachos couldve used more cheese & the pizza was good.

Ordered 2 pizzas, cost $100 with delivery. Showed up cold, no sauce on one pizza, and too much on the other. I was reluctant to try this restaurant again, and now I m convinced why I don t go there. Brutal. Pizza shop is definitely the way to go. I like how you respond to the negative reviews with the same generic response, Instead of offering a free order of whatever you screwed up on. True to form Boston pizza. Did I mention the pizza shop in airdrie is the way to go. Real Italian style pizza.

Went for a family dinner well aware that BP s food is mediocre but wanted the family friendly atmosphere. Ordered appetizers, drinks and mains. Burger we got was cold and simply stated this fact to the waitress who served us and she was everything but apologetic. Rude response asking well what do you want to do about it . Then asked for a replacement burger to be made which came, very hot but obviously microwaved after the fact as the lettuce and onions were soggy and the bun was very hot as well. Felt like instead of apologetic and helpful they were snarky and spiteful and glared at my husband as we left.

Went to pick up our take out order and found it had just been given to a skip driver moments earlier. We had to reorder and wait for our items and were never offered any compensation for the delay. Got home with the food and it was so dry that barely half the food was eaten and the half that was eaten was because everyone was so hungry after the extended wait.

The food was good and reasonably priced. It took a little while for us to get our food but we did have a big group. Overall great experience. Would go here again. Dietary restrictions: Some of us are gluten free and they had good options for that.

Received the food below with the note written on it warning me that the chicken is fried in the same oil as shellfish. I can not believe that a restaurant would do this in 2024. Was not able to eat it and did not eat the fries as they were probably also fried in the same oil. This is a massive health violation and I hope something is done. Manager on the phone was not helpful and was condescending. Did get a partial refund from delivery service. Had to order food from another restaurant while family ate. WILL not be eating at Boston pizza.

Slow service, bad food and good atmosphere. The waitress was good at first then the place started to get busy and they only had 1 server for like 15 tables so to get a refill on my drink was dam near impossible. The pizza was sp greasy I could barely eat it. I had 3 slices out of the 9 and then gave up because my stomach couldnt handle the bad taste. Wont be going back there again.

Disappointed in this location.. we are frequent customers of Boston Pissas and this was by far the worst one our server was okay. Not overly friendly but was attentive. At every turn she let us know that little things were not done there. We always order the pink lemonade and always get refills without charge, here they dont allow refills. Our food was below what we expected. The bourbon barbeque pizza was so filled with bourbon that it overpowered the while taste. The chicken and mushroom fettuccini was dry and the chicken was spongy and chewy. Dont think it was real chicken at all. Absolutely horrible. I didnt eat a quarter of it and the waitress never asked why. Kids meals were good. Good portions, good value but again when it came to dessert, I was then told only one topping and one sauce. Never have been told that before in all the years including covid have weve been limited. I just 3xpected smaller amounts. I am visiting from out of town and come regularly to Airdrie but I wont be back to this location.

1st Airdrie Sparks had an absolutely amazing time at Boston Pizza this morning. Thank you to the manager Gurp for opening the doors to us. Our girls got to make their own pizzas and learn all about the restaurant, kitchen and baking pizzas. The girls walked away with chefs hats and full tummies. Thank you again for a fantastic morning!

Great place to eat.

My kids really enjoy Boston Pizza and I dont know if it is like this at other locations, but they have one fryer and the cactus cut fries make regular fries VERY spicy. It makes it hard for my 5 year old to eat them and they were even too spicy for an adult. I asked the waitress about this and she indicated that they used to have two fryers but now just one and there is no plans to ever have a second fryer. I wont order fries due to this. It even makes the sweet potato fries and sometimes chicken strips spicy as well which is unfortunate as we usually like to go here as a family.

Love this place. The foods always super delicious and the staff friendly. Orders brought out quickly and always look amazing.

Always great food and service at the Airdrie location. I decided to try the Pineapple Express square footer pizza. It was very tasty, although the bbq sauce was a little strong for my taste, however it was even better as cold leftovers, the bbq wasnt as strong so it was delicious.

Tried something new that was suggested to us by the server and loved it! We tried a new pizza. Wanted something different and asked for suggestions. Ordered the Bourbon BBQ chicken. It was delicious. Very happy we tried it and will get it again

Very slow service.

I have never seen such a bad service attitude of the waiter. Our group of 5 arrived at around 10:00 pm on Sunday night and waited at the front desk for more than 15 minutes. No one greeted us! So we had to find a waiter ourselves and we continued to wait! OK! After we sat down, we were already hungry and immediately asked the waiter to order! The fat woman immediately frowned when we asked one more question! As a result, we had a very unhappy meal! This waiter was really great! Maybe you want to get paid without doing any work, but think about it, if there is no business, how will the boss pay you?

Haven t ordered from here in awhile pizza and deep fry pickles cold, not much flavour! Epic fail won t be ordering again.

Great staff! Always cheerful and attentive. The wifi is also very good, and I have always been allowed to sit, eat & work for hours and / or watch a game.

Food was very yummy

I ordered lasagna yesterday it was only lasagna strips no meat sauce. It was like I am eating boiled lasagna strips . When I called the BP the person who picked up the phone was so rude and unprofessional didn t want to hear me or help out.This is the 2nd time that I ordered food was not what is served in the restaurant. This happened to couple of my friends too. Their service is horrible and the food is not that good anymore.

Waitress and the cool robot server made the trip worthwhile! Young waitress was fairly new but fixed a mistake on the bill promptly. Food was great. Parmesan fries were amazing. Will return.

Good is generally good here so no complaints about it overall. However server forgot app and brought out dinner first. Also forgot several requests to leave certain ingredients out of some dishes as kids wont eat it. Bill didnt reflect proper pasta night promo as well. don t think i ve been in a more incapable restaurant. we were in a rush and sat 20 minutes while no one even took our drink order. there was only one table of people in the restaurant. the waitress kept walking by doing absolutely nothing. finally we got sick of this absolute pure laziness and awful service and up and left. through the window we saw how the second we left the waitress came over and grabbed our menus. so now you re not busy? do not eat here unless you want to support a staff of lazy people who should NOT be working in service.

Good quality food and very nice service, but for a restaurant with a clear Italian inspiration, serving overcooked spaghetti is a major flaw. Please learn how to do it, if not al dente, at least not mushy. Then you will be excellent.

Was understaffed for how busy it was. We hardly saw thr server who was doing her absolute best to stay on top of her tables. But had a hard time due to covering so many.

Horrible pasta, horrible service!!!! Never once did the waitress come by after my food was served, I couldnt eat it at all, was absolutely disgusting!! We had to stand up and ask her to help us, we got served the wrong dish, just disgusting. Horrible!??

The manager at this store is a joke. After spending $150 on an order she REFUSED to send out new garlic toast because she stated I am 100% sure I placed it in there as if it had a protective bubble surrounding it that it couldn t have fallen out of the bag. What a joke. It would have cost you minutes and cents. Too bad because you could use sense in the common variety. Won t order here again

The $11.99 pasta special in January was a bait and switch. No vegetables or protein is included in the advertising which clearly showed pasta with many accoutrements

Laura provided exceptional service, and she was incredibly charming throughout the entire experience. She made everything easy and enjoyable. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I wish pizza also tasted good , not he best tasting food I had at this location .pizza was undercooked.

Stopped in for appies & a drink - food was amazing and service was fantastic! Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. An excellent way to spend a Saturday afternoon! We will definitely be back!

Wanted to say the pizza was ok and the salad I received and paid 16 dollars for was a joke. There was enough for one person. There wasnt even a full head of romain in this salad. Was very disappointed and will not be ordering again.

My friends and I had a truly disappointing experience at Boston Pizza. We were rudely reprimanded by the staff for attempting to order from the kids menu. Despite the fact that we were within the restaurants age policy for ordering from the kids menu, we were met with condescending remarks and unwelcoming attitudes from the staff. The servers behavior was completely uncalled for and made us feel unwelcome and embarrassed. Its incredibly unprofessional for a family-friendly restaurant like Boston Pizza to treat customers in such a disrespectful manner. The lack of understanding and empathy from the staff was shocking and completely soured our dining experience. Moreover, the way the situation was handled by the management was equally disappointing. Instead of addressing our concerns and offering a sincere apology, they seemed to side with the server, further adding to our frustration. As a result of this unacceptable treatment, we wont be returning to Boston Pizza and will be sure to share our experience with others. Its truly a shame that a restaurant known for its family-friendly atmosphere would allow such poor customer service to tarnish its reputation.As we do love the food here we are not impressed with the service

Im very sad about prices now. Itll be a long time until our next outing. $22.00 for lettuce . Pecan Salad, a Chicken Burger, Kids Mac n Cheese, 2 Ceasars $80.00 bucks, add a tip and youre almost $100.00 bucks, at a standard family restaurant?? Also, to find out Boston Pizzas are not all Franchise BPs anymore. I went to present my Gold AMA card to get a little discount, and Airdrie BPs says they dont honor AMA or membership cards as independent from BP franchises. Didnt know that??

A disaster of a place. Expensive, very poor food and a server who coughed multiple times while facing us. Hard to describe how brutal our experience was. Spend your hard earned money literally anywhere else in Airdrie.

Ill never order takeout from here again. The last 4 times we have ordered from here theres been something messed up and Im just done.

I live out of town, went here for pick up specifically for Boston Pizza (there and back is 1 hr) and get home and they completely missed putting in a main meal . It was super disappointing. Then they wouldn t give refund. Would only give a credit which I have to call and remember to use. Didn t give anything additional for the inconvenience or to say sorry. A meal out is an expensive thing these days so my expectations have gone up.. sad to say I have to start checking all my orders as I see this problem happening more and more. Food I got was tasty just sucks my partner only got his side salad so we had to share my food.

Staff was friendly, but the food is average at best. I had a salad which was fine, but my husband had the lasagna which disappointing to say the least. Maybe its just not the place to go for pasta.

I went here for my birthday along with my husband and parents. The food and service was good but they need to up their game on a birthday dessert. When someone comes to your restaurant for their birthday more than a tablespoon of ice cream I think is deserving. Disappointed and my family disappointed for me. Dont go here for special events as they dont celebrate with you at all.

I understand we reached at the restaurant around 11PM and the person at front told us that they close in an hour and last call would be at11:45. By the time we got seated the server came and said last call is at 11:30 instead. She took drinks order and then came back with drinks and said grill is not available so no nachos as they need time for it to cool down and then clean. During our order we felt really pressurized and the way she was talking back was like we were being told we tried to stay polite with her all through even though she forgot our ceasar drink until half way through snacks but her attitude was just not right. I wouldn t come back to this service for sure. I understand how it feels to have last minute customers but I would have compensated her for staying but her attitude about even telling us to leave the restaurant at 11:52 saying it s midnight was not right. I think some training needs to happen. Yes, we didn t tip her much as didn t feel like she deserved anything at all.

We had pizza and it was horrible tasted like a boxed frozen pizza. Plus it cost $30. Will not be back. We used to enjoy Boston Pizza.

Im a fan of the Boston Lasagna, and the price is reasonable. $16.99 This kind of surprised me since Historically I have thought BPs prices a bit high. Perhaps Im managing expectations?

This location always forgets items when I order, and they dont do anyting to fix it. Just tell me its the delivery apps issue and Ill be refunded. Clearly its not the delivery driver that packages the food, its the staff at the restaurant. I dont want a refund, I want the food that I ordered.

Pick up on Friday , 08/18 /23 was extremely busy , the situation was very well handled but staff and my gluten wise meal was in my hand and I was on my way in perfect time ! Thank you ladies ! Nice place to eat

Out of everything I ordered for my family there were missing items in each meal. How does someone order a chicken Cesar salad and get no chicken. The worst delivery experience Ive had by far.

The airdrie location was great, service was fantastic. They have a robot that delivers food to the table which pretty cool Ive never seen that before.

Out today with a friend for some work discussion. He had a long island ice tea in a fish bowl. Me a smirnoff ice. Quick service and drinks were nice and cold. Ordered a make your own pasta with penne, rose sauce, sausage, and banana peppers covered in makes cheese. This used to be a menu item. It tasted so good. Not too loud in the restaurant but since we stayed for 6 hours talking etc it got busier as the day wore on. Got our bills and left and not a single issue. Happy staff, great food, and a pleasant atmosphere. Will be back sometime soon, I think. Thank you, Boston Pizza North Airdrie.

Utterly embarrassing. It took them three tries to get my wife her Mac and cheese and didn t offer any sort of apology or even a buck off. First they brought out the spicy one with chicken. So we sent it back, then they gave the the spicy one again but with no chicken. Finally on the third try they got her the Mac and cheese. By this point I was done eating and our 2 year old was getting cranky because it took an hour for them to make her food properly.

This is a decent boston pizza. Bartender was pretty cool, food was as expected. Good deal on doubles whichever day we went, I dont even know they were cheap its hard to remember.

Ordered for pickup. This was first and last time eating at this Boston pizza. I ordered lasagna with extra cheese. No extra cheese at all. This lasagna was so dry and no meat sauce. My husband ordered siracha onion rings, they forgot the siracha. My sons fries were half empty and cold. Everything was awful.

My daughter excitedly picked BPs for her bday dinner our familys first time at this newer location. We dont often eat out for dietary restriction reasons. Our older waitress rushed us at every turn of our experience from ordering drinks to food. Like I said, we dont come to eat at BP almost ever, we dont know the menu. I highly regretted my rushed decision on a gluten free burger option. Is there pork in the burger or is that a bad seasoning blend I didnt like? Hard pass forever more. My husbands cactus cut fried were half over cooked, half under cooked. Our food server (Very gratefully) noticed my daughters bday pin and wished her a haply birthday because our server never did. Maybe she noticed at the end and felt silly to mention it so late but giving an extra cookie instead wasnt as appreciated as being wished a happy birthday to my 8 yr old. Well stick to Montanas here on out. Dietary restrictions: Better Carnivore options. Steak with a side of 2 wings in place of a salad... make it interesting, make me want to come back.

Got take out tonight. My burger patty was dry n the onions werent sautéed as I ask for. The cheese was shredded which wasnt what i expected. Very disappointed on my dinner tonight. Wont be ordering from veterans in airdrie again

Dont have familiarity with Boston Pizza, but the wings were very nice and the hostess was excellent.

Date night is always great at Airdrie Boston Pizza . Despite the fact they seem to always be busy the service is amazing. The manager s are present , servers are attentive and food is a great value for the money spent .

This is the location we visit most regularly. Its hard to find great quality service in modern society, and most Boston Pizza locations are experiencing a customer service crisis. This location is decent, but all of them can use improvement.

Good evening, and thank you for reading my review. We decided to visit this location after my daughters final swimming lesson for the year, as BPs is one of her favourites. I want to start this off by saying that this was one of our BEST experiences to date at this particular spot. Upon arriving, we were hurrying in due to the weather conditions, and as we arrived at the front door, we were greeted by the Host, Oliver (who, might I add, was cleaning the outside of the restaurant!) He graciously opened the door and welcomed us into the store. He continued to pleasantly greet us and and asked how many were in our party. From there, he welcomed us into the restaurant and seated us politely at the table. He proceeded to let us know who our server was, reminded us about the daily feature, and also provided us recommendation on his favourite menu item. Shortly after, we were greeted by our server, Alex. My husband asked her about the beers on tap, and without hesitation, she quickly recited the many options, only for him to decide to order a canned beer (haha!). Our daughter ordered her favourite, Bugs and Cheese with a side of Caeser salad with Lemonade. As this was going on, my husband and I scanned the room, many tables, and many employees helping each other out. Alex returned with our drinks, and we ordered our dinner - Steak Sandwich and Make-Own-Pasta. In the meantime, we had the opportunity to observe the room once again - the table beside us had received their meals, and Alex had checked in to confirm everything was in order and to their liking. Unfortunately, one of the patrons had expressed a negative opinion toward the meal, and Alex listened intently and sought to fix it as soon as possible. Not long after, we were delivered our meals - hot and as we requested! I had asked for a little extra cheese (who doesnt want extra cheese?!), and the lovely person was returned back in a heartbeat with a little OC of parm :) While we were busy devouring our dinners, Alex checked in to make sure we were happy, and next to us I noticed the Manger, Kris, had stopped by the table to check on the the patron that was not satisfied. (I have to add that I am normally not a nosy person, but it was hard not to notice all the great gestures in this restaurant). Whatever was the issue beside us, Kris seemed to address it, as I witnessed them being extremely appreciative and thankful for their dining experience in the end. I have dined at this particular spot approximately 10 times, and this was by far, a moment to recognize. Coming from a service background, I notice the little things that make an experience stand out from the rest. This time of year (the Christmas season), can be extremely stressful, and I hope this positive feedback can provide some comfort and reassurance that you are doing a GREAT job! We asked Kris to stop by and genuinely wanted to share all the great moments of the night - starting from the moment we walked up to the door to the time we left. We held our staff Christmas party here. Gurpreet and her staff went above and beyond for us. They surprised us with a beautiful complimentary holiday drink. Everyone had a fantastic time. Thank you to all the staff!
