We are new to the area and wanted to try somewhere local. It's a good size restaurant with lots of seating. The food was hot and fresh. The tater tots were amazing. The fries were okay, not anything special. The chichen barbeque club was really delicious. Everyone liked the burgers too. The poutine was not as good as we expected. I would definitely go back again. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.
Some might be picky with their reviews but I’d rather buy my burger here than pay the same price at McDonald’s. Milkshakes are awesome too. They are usually 10 min to make an order. I always get takeout so can’t say much about sitting down.
Went for lunch with a friend here , the reviews don’t disappoint. Very much over priced for what you get, small portions and not great quality. The day we went no one was in the restaurant looked like a ghost town, one worker there and while we were eating he kept coming out the kitchen to see if we were done yet. This location Not recommend-
The lady behind the till and also working in the kitchen was so friendly and made my first experience at this location very memorable. She was hard working and the customer service mixed with the great food she prepared for me made the experience that much better. I do think the staffing should be more as she was doing everything herself but she seemed to take care of it all no problem. I really should have asked her name but she genuinely deserves a raise, a promotion or both.
When this place first opened, their burgers did not taste good. I tried them again in june and was blown away! I love a good burger and this store seemed to have perfected them! I now go several times a month.
One of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had, looking forward to stopping in again. Comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff aswell. Highly recommend.

I ordered lunch from this restaurant via skip for the first time since it opened so it's been a very long time since I ate here. If memory serves me right it was good food when it first opened but sadly, unless this was a one-off their standards have slipped. The menu is mouthwatering. I ordered the Fiesta burger with salsa, mozzarella and avocado, and jalapeño and cheddar fries plus a Chipotle dip. As you can see the jalapeño and cheddar fries were a good portion. Unfortunately the fries were slightly undercooked and the cheddar was a flavorless cheese whizz substitute. That said compared to the burger they were the best thing about this meal. The burger was a sad effort. The salsa was non-existent, more like a bloody smear of dark ketchup on the dark bun. The mozzarella was transparent and the avocado was like the salsa, a smear on the bottom of the bun. The pattie was crumbly and lacked flavor. As I said a sad burger and not at all the Fiesta I was expecting by the description. Suffice to say I shall not be ordering from this establishment again nor do I recommend it especially given the number of burger joints in Airdrie who serve far superior burgers.
I m eating somewhere else where I can add pickles to my burger. Update: lol thanks for adding pickles to your menu, but $1.88 to add pickles? Wtf ..

This was some of the BEST fast food weve ever had. Dare I even say gourmet fast food??? It was all cooked by one man who was alone in the kitchen and also taking orders, but he rocked it! Dietary restrictions: Were a family with many members having celiac, these guys have a separate fryer so theres no contamination happening from gluten products to their gf products. WE APPRECIATED THIS SO MUCH!!!
Quality of the food has declined dramatically. The poutine tastes like dish water! And I m not being harsh.. but when you spend $70.00 on 4 burgers and fries you expect it to be better then McDonalds unfortunately I think McDonalds would be better. Food

My 12 year old daughter and her one friend bought a poutine and milkshake to share on April 3rd. She spent $15. She said it was the best poutine and milkshake she s had in Airdrie. Unfortunately right as they finished their food, they were told to get out. Not even 2 minutes after finishing they were treated like garbage. The man literally said leave now. You can t stay in here. This is not a waiting place. All I have to say is we won t ever spend our money at this restaurant again and will tell all of our family and friends to avoid it. My daughter is kind and respectful. Don t treat all teenagers the same!! UNACCEPTABLE!!
Really disappointing experience, food and beverages, we tried it again and you can tell they are riding the lease out. Hopefully something replaces this place soon and puts it out of its misery. The place is clean, but its likely because no one dines there.

The guy working at the front was super rude, honestly I would look at firing him if I was the manager. He also was rude to the customer behind me and fill my milkshake 50% full.
Guy working at front desk overcharged me and wasn t the nicest, in prior events he sweard and me and pointed in my face because I ate a granola bar in his stor
Went in for the special today, and was unpleasantly surprised by a $1 surcharge for paying for my meal with debit. Canceled my order and left, Im not being charged to surcharge for the privilege of paying for my meal

I have been here twice in the last week. 1st visit I had the Spicy Chicken Burger and a vanilla milkshake. Chicken burger was succulent, moist, fresh, and good sized. Toppings were fresh and tasty. ..5/5 Milkshake was great. ..5/5 A week later I have a beef burger and milkshake. The burger tasted like what a dry beer carton left in the hot sun in the parking lot for a week would taste like ...1/5 Milkshake...5/5 Unbelievable how someone can have 2 experiences within the same week, and the quality is at opposite ends of the spectrum.

Service was friendly and fairly quick. The food portions were decent but lacked flavour. The fries were dry/plain and unappealing, the burger had a very odd taste to it also. The shakes were probably the only good food item. The place looks nice, lots of seating but very empty for the most part. I think working on improving the taste of their food would go a long way here.

The manager literally said a swear word at me for the smallest thing. The food was terrible. I saw the manager take out garbage and then immediately afterwards start handling food without even washing his hands or using gloves which was disgusting. Please dont eat here if you have any self respect.

This place used to have amazing milkshakes but now they are no different from dairy queen using chocolate syrup. I was pretty shocked to see they charge an extra dollar for whip cream and a cherry considering the milkshake was almost 8 bucks and it was a very small size. McDonalds ones are better and wayyyyy cheaper. I miss the days when milkshakes were made with quality ingredients and actually deserved the price they asked for. Fries were under cooked and cold. Mediocre at best, way over priced and have gone the route of cheaping out. Too bad. I wont be a customer in the future I know that for sure.

Tried Boardwalk for the first time while visiting Calgary. We enjoyed the meal, the portion sizes, and the service. We do feel the burgers could have some more flavor, maybe a house blend of spices in the burger or onion brioche bun. Overall, I was very full afterward and felt that my money was well spent. I would love to try other items on the menu in the future! Would recommend others to try it out!

I come here every Sunday with my 3 kids, we love the atmosphere and the owners go out of there way to make us feel welcome and with 3 kids that can be tricky, there kids!! We get the family pack 4 burgers and drinks, and 2 large baskets of fries for $39.00 GREAT VALUE!! IMO the food is great and my kids LOVE going!! Perfect way to cap of a Sunday at the water park/ skatepark in Airdrie. Kid-friendliness: My kids love going here, it s a 60 s diner vibe and we look forward to coming every Sunday.

So, to start, the restaurant is great. The burgers and signature fries options are 10/10 but...its a common hot spot for very loud and rude teens from the nearby school that dont have a lot for manners. If you want good service and great food this is a good place to go. Just pick a time without the children overrunning the place.

The Sriracha burger is one of our favourites to get. Along with a side of onion rings always slaps. So so good. The people who are often working are so king so nice and helpful when needed I so recommend coming here even for just a little date it s so amazing.
The burger are fresh and fries came out great! I loved the place. I trierd their different burgers and all good. But mashroom and swiss is my fav! Staff were so friendly and happy. Manager came out to make his rounds as well to make sure we are happy with their service. The overall experience is definitely 5 stars+ highly recommend!
Always good food. This is the third Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes restaurant I ve tried in Calgary. All have been good value, well prepared and tasty. The staff are friendly and welcoming. COVID-19 precautions were in place. Will be back.
This is my 4 year old son and my favourite place to eat. The food is always fresh and hot. The staff are extremely friendly and polite. In my opinion it is a very economical place to eat. It definitely is more taste and better priced than McD. Thank you very much for such a great dinner.

The cheddar and beef burgers were amazing, and they have really good fries. I think customer service is a little lacking because the cashier didnt listen very well and made only 2 of our meals a combo and my daughter never got any fries, so we had to split our fries so she could have some. The grilled chicken sandwich was so salty that it was almost inedible. We also got 3 milkshakes that were completely melted by the time we got our order. Maybe it would be a good idea to make those last so they dont melt and they can be enjoyed with the meal.
First time trying this place. The burger had quite a lot of meat so that was good. Fries were great but could have been a better selection- felt I got the tail end of the bag. Ordering was a little awkward: cashier AND chef basically staring at me as I try to navigate the menu lol. After ordering I see a sign that had my order but a little cheaper. I wish the cashier could have just directed me to that knowing Im ordering basically the same thing. Im undecided if Ill be back.

Ive ordered here at least a dozen times because the burgers and milkshakes are delicious! (I would recommend always getting a double though or its not as great.) The sides however, are atrocious. Everything. The fries are mediocre, always kind of soggy. The poutine is bad. Chilly fries, bad. Sweet potato fries, bad. Its really not that hard to make great sides, its shameful really. If someone could figure out that side of the business they would have a 5 star place!
I got take our, pairs extra to upgrade to sweet potato fries and onion rings but when I got home there was only half a serving of fries! The shake and burger were good though.

Ordered Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Spice level was better than other but lacked a bit luster. Patty seemed a bit dry and tasted too oily, almost double fried. Also No shakes as machine was not working. Has the potential to make it way better.

Their beef can be a little bit dry, but has good flavor and the buns and toppings are awesome and fresh. Skip the milkshakes theyre just syrup and ice cream, no strawberries in the strawberry shake. Fries and loaded fries are really good. Staff and service is friendly and welcoming. Portions are huge! Go for single patty burgers if you are going to get sides, or be construction worker hungry when you get here.

Went and bought a cheeseburger with added bacon. Paid for extra bacon but didnt get any on the burger. They didnt answer my call to fix it but thats cause I didnt realize till after they closed shortly after my order. Good burger, just wish I got what I paid for.
Went to this establishment on Monday April 26. Placed an order for a Mushroom Swiss, substituted cheddar for Swiss and a double chipotle burger and medium fries. Picked up order and brought it home, found that the mushroom burger did not have any lettuce or tomato, the double chipotle burger only had one patty. Tried calling the Airdrie location 7 times each time getting a fax. The burgers were good but a word if warning check your order before you leave this location. It was not like they were so busy that they were run off their feet, I was the only one in the restaurant. Paid to much for what I received and will not be going back. There are many other restaurants in Airdrie to order from where the workers can focus long enough to do there jobs correctly. On a positive note they did get the size of fries right.
My burger came soggy and late. Way too expensive too. Not recommended.
Went here for the first time to pick up a meal for the family. It was so bad all of it ended up in the garbage. The burgers tasted like grease and ketchup. Even the pickles were off. The fries were void of any flavour and tasted like cardboard. Do eat here unless you have a good breakfast cereal as a back up. Prices were more than one of oils expect. Better off at 5 guys.

The Calgary location recently got rid of their fiesta burger option and I was so glad to find this location and see that they still have it! I m vegetarian and finding a good veggie burger has been hard but the one here is my absolute favourite. Solid option for a burger and their banana milkshake is great too!

We are here when it first opened and enjoyed our meal. This time was NOT even close to the same. The milkshakes tasted like old freezer burnt milk with a horrid after taste, we threw 3/3 milkshakes in the garbage with more than half left. The burgers and fries were just as bad. We will not be back.

If it was just milk shakes Id give them a 5 out of 5... but lets face it. This is a burger shop. And the burgers arent good theyre dry and tasteless. Very disappointed. Good service and ancillary products are good.

I moved to Airdrie and wanted to check out boardwalk. I got garlic parm fries and funnel fries and hawaiian burger. The burger is great but the other two isnt the greatest. Burnt soggy fries and funnel fries is only a quarter full. Not the greatest experience

Have eaten here multiple times. Place is always clean, staff is always happy and smiling and food is always delicious and prices reasonable. The best thing is that every visit is consistant. Love coming here (Airdrie) and will continue to do so. Thanks for a great experience!
Placed a skip the dishes order with thrm they forgot part of my order when called about it they said they would provide a refund for that portion but it was never received

The service is always punctual and and professional. The staff is always friendly and helpful as well. Some of the best burgers in town and their specialty fries are my favorite! Last time I was in however I found it odd and a little disheartening that while we as customers were expected to wear masks in the store that NONE of the cooks were wearing masks.
