Great bacon cheeseburger and fries, great portions, home made. Very impressed, I will order again.

Great home cooked meals served here. I always get the Eggs Benedict. Prices are vey good and servings are large. I recommend Cheryl s Country Kitchen!

I know Airdrie has no shortage of pizza places, but dont sleep on Cheryls. I had the Chefs Special and it was delicious. Another guest at our table had onion rings and they were great too. They reminded me of the old A&W rings.

My mom I went to Cheryls August 8th/2024 for dinner. Mom had the Veal Cutlet with a stuffed baked potato. I had a steak sandwich with a stuffed baked potato as well. My steak I ordered medium & it was over cooked, the table was shaking when I went to cut it. After taking a bite it had no flavour & was very tough. The stuffed potato was very tough, couldnt cut it & tasted like a regular baked potato. My moms veal was the same, very tough & she had a very time cutting it & her stuffed potato was the same as mine. She told our waiter, who offered to make another but my mom was disappointed & either of us finished our meals or wanted more. When the bill arrived the waiter stated he gave me a small discount & small is right lol $4.64 off the bill. We had eaten there before, for breakfast & had no issues. This was our 4th time eating here & we were very disappointed with our meals. Worse steak I have ever had, no flavour the onions & mushrooms werent sautéed properly & the steak was very tough, no flavour at all & very over cooked. As for the garlic toast, I think the Flames could of used it for a hockey puck. Very disappointing & we will not be eating here again.

Definitely a gem. Tasted like a home cooked meal and large portions. A great change from chain restaurants. Great value and great service. Fries are not frozen and not coated. Best burger out there. Great sandwiches, great soups and great salads.

I share my Facebook, with my husband John...I am writing this review..a group of my friends and I meet once a month for lunch,We try various restaurants in Airdrie, I must say Cheryls Country Kitchen is at the top of the list...The food was excellent and very fresh, service excellent..restaurant very clean..and you could actually hear yourself talk.music in background..but not blaring...Highly recommend this place for value for your money and the food is wonderful...there are 6 of us ladies who as mentioned have lunch in various spots in Airdrie.and yes we do rate them..lol...Please try this restaurant you wont be disappointed...Mary Gallant and fellow ladies

It s Father s Day I get it! It s insane busy! I was born and raised in the restaurant business!! We were served by whom we suspect is Cheryl! Rude couldn t cut a smile if she tried! Slammed plates down on the table. Couple who arrived 20 mins after us were served their food before us! We waited an hour in total for our food! The bread on my sandwich was toasted long before the sandwich was made! Again I get it it s busy but try not to treat your customers like second class citizens!! We won t be back and it s sad as this was our regular breakfast spot!!

The breakfast wasnt that good. Was very dry, steak over cooked . Got seated fast, but no one came to table for at least 15 min. Wasnt that full. Different since sold Parking: Parking ok but not big lot

First time here, ordered breakfast french toast was ok, hash browns were not cooked, eggs and bacon over cooked, I was offered the hash browns be remade and I kind of chuckled, employee said could remake the whole thing and due to the time it took to come out I declined, my waitress came by and gave me my full bill?? That is why I will never return.

We were meeting some family at Cheryls. Its very quaint and much like a roadside diner. We all enjoyed the food and will meet there again.

Wife has pizza, not bad but not great. I had the lasagna, ordered with extra cheese. Meat sauce was not great, few noodles, too much sauce, and if thats extra cheese, Id hate to see the regular. Wouldnt try it again, I dont think.

Good food great customer service

I booked for a large group which they accommodated in their side room. They were able to make a quick change as I added more people last minute. The server got everyones order correctly. Every enjoyed their food and their time.

Love the atmosphere and the food is awesome. Cheryl even offered me ginger ale when I mentioned I was sick.

Absolutely horrible service. Placed an order through Skip the Dishes for pick up. Received an order confirmation and got a text saying it s almost ready for pickup. We get to the restaurant and was rudely told that they dont do pickup orders for Skip. Only courier picks up. Is that even possible through Skip? People can t pick up their orders? I don t think so. But funny how after everything, our order was sitting there in a bag ready for pick up. The way they talked to my daughter was so unnecessary. People are supporting your local business and this is how you treat them let alone a 16 year old? Not okay and will not go back and not suggest this restaurant to anyone. FYI - Look at the restaurants response to another review. That s how you talk to people who have a bad experience at your restaurant? Shame on you. Be a good owner and say we don t seem to have a transaction with the amount you mentioned. Please come by with your receipt as proof and we will go from there instead of attacking. Unreal.

Been here 2x in 6 weeks for supper, food was great, portions were plentiful. Restaurant was clean and staff was polite and kind. We will continue to go back.

I come here often and enjoy eating here. This review is more of a positive suggestion. I just finished a bacon and ham omelette and noticed that the bacon was very strange. I m pretty sure the bacon pieces are precooked and then added to the omelette. The bacon had a very strange flavour and an odd brownish color. The flavour permeated throughout the whole omelette. I would suggest that the bacon be cooked to order to avoid this. The ham seemed fresh. I will try again next time and hopefully will be better.

Got the roast beef special. It was far from special let me tell you 1 scoop of potatoes undercooked veggies that had zero flavor, beef was tough and chewy. Price on menu was 21 for the special.my bill came it was 42 with a fountain drink with no refill either. The owner had her family there at the table right next to me and I had to listen to all the medical procedures she had done in great detail. Disgusting. There is a reason the pub across the road is packed every night of the week and yours is empty. Save your money and walk across the street and enjoy an incredible meal for a good price

Has gone wayyyyyy downhill in service, quality, and just overall management. New ownership made this place not worth going too. I wont be back. Ruined the menu, fired the original staff, and started trying to franchise it. This isnt what it used to be. Would give the is place 0 stars if i could.

Ordered the meat lovers omelet! There was no flavour! Not sure what kind of eggs they used, but it had a really off taste! Prices were crazy!! Just for fountain pop it was over four dollars!! Just for an omelet meal was $18! Plus the pop! This was our first time eating there, and we were very disappointed! Sorry to say, but we will not be back.

We had a group of 40 people attend the restaurant for a going away luncheon. The service was good but the prices weren t. A bowl of soup and a drink cost near to $20.00. Most of our group of people live on a fixed income and there were many complaints as to the exorbitant costs for food. Onion rings and a pop cost $20.00. Our group strongly dislikes and disagrees with the automated tip process. We will not be coming back.

Clean, friendly server, great food. Had the special, bacon and BBQ Chicken wrap, fries (hot) and homemade gravy. Coffee was very nice, fresh and hot. Wifey had a Reuben and fries. Ate all of the sandwich, too many fries. (Shared the gravy). High chair available for wee kids. Handicap parking at the door. No button for HC access. Door was easy to open and lots of space for a wheelchair to move around.

This was our first time at this restaurant, and we were very satisfied. We were looking for somewhere that had home-style cooking, and lots of options that were NOT spicy. There were 4 people at our table, everyone had lots to eat (very generous portions), and our total was LESS than $20 per person!!!! With this being said, we only drank water, so drinks would have put us at approximately $20/person, which is still exceptional these days, for good quality food! We will definitely be back!

The burgers we had were ok. A little over cooked, the onion rinks were over deep fried. But my wife had the Shepherd pie. She enjoyed it. First time Ive seen Shepherd pie with gravy. The server was polite, service was slow, there was only on couple in front of us in the restaurant qnd we still waited 25 minutes for our 2 burgers. All in all, it was ok. We will come and try it one more time. Hoping for better results.

The onion rings were excellent but when I asked for the sauce it was suppose to come with (according to the menu) the waitress said they didn t come with a sauce. Then suggested I get a sauce on the side, I at least wasn t charged for the sauce. When I tried to show the waitress the menu where it said the onion rings were suppose to come with a sauce she literally brushed me off and walked away. The rest of the meal was unremarkable, we had the fish and chips. I was not impressed with the waitress and I will not be back.

My daughter and I frequent visit Cheryl and her staff, we are served by Morgan often who is so kind and generous in her service. Cheryl offers a warm space of comfort that makes you feel like coming home to eat. Thank you for your delicious food and kindness in your service. Your joy shows through as you walk around and greet all your customers when we are seated!

We had to rush in for a takeout. The service was friendly and the wait time very reasonable. The special was delicious and the wings were super. Nice touch to include cut veggies on the side. Lovely place for a homestyle meal. Very spacious and bright. And definitely get the gravy for your fries. Its also not overly noisy with loud music so having a conversation with your friends and family doesnt involve shouting. We will be back.

Absolutely fantastic experience and Im going to tell you some of the reasons why. First of all, the atmosphere is wonderful. The restaurant is clean and well kept and just feels cozy. Everything is homemade and they arent kidding when they advertise this. I had French onion soup that was definitely not too salty in any way. It left me almost mournful when I was finished because It was so good. My Monte Cristo seemed balanced and beautiful. All the cuts of meat were excellent. Then afterwards I had the pie, which isnt simply a piece of pie thats warmed up, Its an individually made small plate sized pie that made me feel the most special I have all week long. And it tasted so good that its a good thing the seats held me securely, or I might have just fallen right through the face of the Earth having the first few soft, warm, blissful bites. I had the pleasure of being served, as I later learned, by Cheryl herself of Cheryls kitchen. She runs a tight ship. I dont think there was a single table in the mostly full restaurant that didnt get exactly what they needed promptly. One time I took a big bite and Cheryl slipped out from behind the adjacent booth to ask me how are you doing? Great. and then disappeared again before I could chew enough to really answer much more than a genuine thumbs up and thats good because Im quite a talker if you havent gathered by now. I respect Cheryls technique. She clearly knows her craft. All fun aside. The food was excellent, it was my first time trying it, and it was the perfect way to accent one of the first warm sunny days marking the beginning of a free and wonderful summer that I know everyone is excited to live with a smile on all our faces.

Terrible service, not sure if the older lady working was having a bad day, or if she is always that rude and nasty to customers for no reason other than coming in and sitting down. But I walked out and will never be back, and will not recommend this place to anyone, ever again.

Kinda of regretted not coming here earlier. Went today to have lunch with family. Really nice looking inside, deceptive from the outside. Ordered the mushroom Swiss burger added bacon and a small Caesar. Caesar was nice, came with garlic bread. No parmesan on top but thats okay. Burger was really good and juicy, good seasoning. Bacon was crispy and all the topping were fresh. Fries were really good, homemade, seasoned well and crispy. I would call this place underrated but based on the amount of people in for lunch today them seem to be doing just fine.Overall really enjoyed it and will be back.

Have been told I should eat here for years, finally had the opportunity tonight and they did not disappoint, friendly staff, amazing food and excellent prices. Had the Friday special Fish and Chips everything was cooked with absolute perfection and crispy. My spouse had the turkey dinner and said it was absolutely delicious.

Never disappointed with the food at Cheryls. Really is elevated home cooking style deliciousness! Has become our go-to place to meet friends for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Our first time trying this restaurant Cheryl was friendly and efficient. Our food was prepared as we requested and best of all not from frozen or processed. So enjoyed the real homemade flavor of the food. Loved the turkey sandwich and cream of broccoli soup. My husband devoured his Swiss mushroom burger. Good value and great service. Thanks for a new favorite restaurant to go to.

I love this hidden gem of a restaurant. Its worth stopping in if you re driving through Airdrie. It s owned and operated by a very sweet woman, who tries her hardest to provide very good, home style cooking. She met us as we entered and provided top notch, wonderful service. I ordered the Philly Beef Dip, and the only complaint I had was that it was so full of yummy goodness, that it was hard to get my mouth around. She had no problem with me substituting salad for fries. My dinner companions also loved their meals. We all wanted something a bit different than was on the menu, and she had no problems accommodating the needs of our group. If you re looking for good homestyle food, and exceptional service, this restaurant is well worth a visit.

Really disappointing. We didn t even have a chance to eat here. As soon as we walked in we were told that we would be seated but not served immediately. We asked how long the wait would be and were told they didn t know due to a large table. It was very dismissive.

Stumbled across Cheryl s Country Kitchen when visiting Airdrie a few months ago. It s now our go to for quality comfort food. Make trips from Calgary to Airdrie for Cheryl s alone. Glad we found it!

Had a Farwell supper here for a very dear couple that is moving away. The party took over the room and had a great time. Food and service was great as was the time with friends.

If you want authentic, fresh, made from scratch type of meals, this is be to try! I stopped here on my way through Calgary, staying at a nearby hotel. Had the Sunday night special, roast beef/with Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings, Delicious!!!

My first visit to Cheryls was on Fathers Day so it was extremely busy and it did take a long time to get our food but it was worth the wait because the food was very good and our waitress was super nice and friendly. I ordered a breakfast but next time I go Im going to try one of their sandwiches.

This is definitely a diamond in the rough, we stopped here for dinner on our way back to Edmonton, The food was excellent and the service was second to none. The waitress who served us was the only one working and the restaurant was almost full, she did not miss a beat. The whole experience, the food, the service, the price were excellent. This is a definite place to stop if your looking for a good meal at a reasonable price.

If your looking for a true home cooked meal this is the place. My boyfriend found this place by Google and decided we would dine there on a quick trip to Airdrie. The food was absolutely amazing, huge portions and great flavor. Im talking home cooked , better than mamas. I had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and had enough for a second dinner , boyfriend had the Supreme lasagna and he also had enough for another dinner. I cant wait to go back for more... this place is also very cozy , clean and comfortable..my favorite three cs when dining. I went here with some company for breakfast on the weekend, it was pretty busy. Mostly filled with elderly people, which was probably why the food was so bland. All three of us had potatoes with our food and none of it was seasoned, one said his was nearly raw. The coffee was really basic, the kind of fair that demands cream and sugar but I dont like that. We didnt send anything back or complain, its just not my style, it was edible just not very good. The hollandaise was even sad, how do you make butter emulation so unhappy?

I wish that I lived in Airdrie because i would eat here every week. The food is Home styled...cant beat the price either. Love the menu. All around a fantastic diner.

Cheryls is a great locally owned and operated spot and youll always have a great meal at a good price. We prefer going there for breakfast but the lunch menu is pretty good too. Unfortunately Ive never been after 3pm for the dinner menu but Im sure its just as good.

Cheryls food is always a homerun.. Great portions, reasonable prices for the quality and quantity.. The clubhouse is my Favorite and her gravy is outta this world.. If your looking for comfort food, or a cute comfy cabin like feel atmosphere, Cheryls is your place

First time here and this place was clean and organized. Food was very delicious and so fresh. I ordered the clubhouse and it is really Turkey and ham!!!!! No sandwich meats or processed. EVEN the cheese was fresh! I take a lot to be impressed BUT this is really amazing. I will be back for sure!! P.S. it didn t take long for my food at all.

Not sure if Cheryl s is under new ownership but it s terrible compared to what it used to be 3 months ago. We each had a hot turkey. Stale bread, minimal amount of turkey and one small scoop of potato, no vegetable. Even the waitress commented on how small a meal it was. Large bone also, I understand this can happen but with the small amount of turkey it wasn t hard to see. Disappointing because it used to be good. We won t be back.

I Had the bacon mushroom burger with fries, excellent home made quality. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Whats not to like.

If I could give 6 stars I would ......Cheryl and her staff have absolutely nailed down classic home-cooked country food, and I am always stuffed and satisfied afterwards. Best local breakfast by far!!!
