We used to go to the restaurant on the east side called Silver Star it was by far the best restaurant in Airdrie this restaurant at first wasnt very good but it must be Under New Management we have ordered their several times and their food is amazing I hope this Chef sticks around for a long time I would have to say its even better than Silver Star keep up the good work guys will be ordering from you for a long time.The best Chinese restaurant in Airdrie

I placed an order for take out 3 1 person meals under my roommates name and number. My roommate then went to go pick it up and when she approached the counter and gave her name, the lady at the front rudely pointed a a bag on the table and said on the table . She grabbed the bag and left. 10 mins into the drive back home, she gets a call from the lady yelling at her that she took the wrong bag! She took the only bag that was on the table! So she then turns around and heads back. She gets another call minutes later asking how much longer will you be? She then arrives at the restaurant and the lady grabs the bag out of her hand, and hands them directly to the customer it was for. If the food wasn t as good as it is, we d never go back!

Absolutely incredible! After going on the hunt for a new favorite Chinese restaurant, I am so greatful I am here. I want to say the delicious, fresh, hot food was the highlight of my supper but it was actually the staff. A+ 11/10 Food

Food was fine .. however, staff was incredibly rude. We ordered for pickup, and arrived 13 minutes early for the order time, as we were coming from Calgary and stopping on our way home. Staff was angry about our early arrival, and proceeded to berate my husband - to the point the man behind him said wow. Totally unnecessary. We knew we were early, they just had to say youre a few minutes early, but we will have your order for you when its ready. Wont be dealing with them again

Nice restaurant

So I find the food ok to average and its close to my house. But the dining room seems to double as storage. It doesnt feel inviting when there is stuff scattered around. I get that already at home far too often, and thats not the type of home feeling I want. A well cleaned, tidy and decorated restaurant would mean an intentional desire for me to be comfortable and have a positive experience.

Ordered pick up from this restaurant, mixed feelings about the food. The egg roll was huge and tasted ok, but the grease ran out of the bag it was in. The ginger chicken was quite dry as there was only a small amount of sauce in the container. The chicken fried rice was dry, but tasted ok. No fortune cookies, no soy or plum sauces in the bag, and no napkins. All standard issue at every Chinese restaurant Ive eaten at.

Ordered the Cantonese chow mein, ginger beef, fried rice and the mix veggies. Was delicious and fresh. Will come back again.

Probably the best Chinese food we have had in Airdrie. The egg rolls may have been the best ever! The only issue we had with our delivery order was that they sent the wrong dish, but when I called and told them, the owner was fantastic and promised me they would provide it and am order of egg rolls at no charge. We will definitely order from them again!

Waitress was grumpy and frustrated so that should have been our cue to leave as well shortly after we arrived a service delivery came person was having issues with their pick up order. Service was slow, unfriendly and since she was frustrated about orders either coming in, mixed up or who knows what the mood was transferred to us Then the food was not flavorful. We weren t asked how things were or if we needed anything. We had to ask for hot sauce to add flavor even to the won ton soup. Only good thing is the food was good was the portions were large

My husband and I ordered skip the dishes from here. The food was such poor quality we threw it away. The noodles were so overcooked that they were mush. The chicken did not look like chicken. Everything was slimy. We got the special chow mein which had 1 shrimp in it. Do not waste your money here. So disappointing.

I just got humiliated at Creekside. After ordering and waiting 40 minutes, the owner came out and started loudly and dramatically coughing/clearing her throat. (My throat has been dry, and apparently I had cleared my throat while I was waiting) Everyone in the restaurant stared at her, as it was blatantly directed at me. I was so shocked, that I didn t just walk out like I should have. I will never go back. Beef Chow Fun is my son s favourite dish, which is why I ended up there on Valentine s Day. Never again. And it was a rubbery mess.

Customer service is top notch, friendly servers and food comes out in a timely manner. Will come back in the future.

Not accommodating at all

The food from here is always good, but an order on Christmas was EXCEPTIONAL. The lady at the front was so sweet and the food was super fresh and delicious!! We had the ginger beef, chicken egg foo yung and chicken fried rice. It was amazing. Thank you Creekside!

My daughter and I went to a buffet over the weekend. The food was delicious, with fresh and diverse options. The ginger beef and dim sum were particularly tasty. The service was warm and friendly. Well definitely come back next time.

First time and last time ordering from this place. Ordered most common item from menu. Fried Rice ,Noodle and Palace Chicken. Noodles was bland, rice was dry, chicken was chewy and too sweet though it supposed to be spicy.Very disappointed. Bad first impression so Im not gonna waste my money here. If I could give zero stars i would!!! Spent over $130 and the food was soooo gross!!!! No sauce supplied for sweet and sour chicken balls and Im not even sure if it was chicken!!! Mixed veggies was all cabbage or some weird vegetable and a few carrots!!! Salt and pepper ribs were not salt and pepper ribs!!! I ordered the ginger beef and the salt and pepper squid which were delicious. They were both perfectly fried and came out hot and fresh. Taste was delicious. The chicken fried rice and Shanghai fried noodle was also good. Staff was super friendly and nice. Definitely recommend and would come back next time.

Owners are extremely nice and will make sure your food is properly made and ready on time. Food looks and smells amazing and can t complain about anything. Their portions are generous and you can really taste the flavours. Will be ordering more and hopefully dine in soon.

Very disappointed with this place - Ordered 100 dollars of Chinese food, took over an hour to arrive, they completely forgot to give sweet and sour sauce for the chicken balls, offered to deliver it after the fact, waited 20 minutes and cancelled it...Very frustrating...Food was barely warm

Very good and large portions and reasonable

The majority of their orders went out the door, so my table happened to be the only people in the restaurant. The colors in the restaurant were dark and gloomy, maybe also because the lights were turned down low. The chef was great the food had excellent taste and texture. Vegetarian options: Very much Vegetarian friendly Parking: Since the majority of their customers were take out there was plenty of parking.

Hot fresh food this time. Can be hit and miss on some of there dishes. Bean sprouts seem to be a big portion of vegetable dishes. Egg fo yung is always great. So tasty and always made fresh for you. I love this place. We moved to Airdrie two years ago, and this is our go-to. Sometimes we order with friends from other places to try new suggestions, and NOT ONCE has this place been beat! I LOVE Singapore Noodles and the Singapore Noodles at Creekside are the BEST in the city, hands down. Everything we have tried has been great, fresh, and also awesome leftover for lunch! The chicken balls are UNREAL. Dont skip the chicken balls. Thank me later. Id give it 10 stars if I could.

Me and my fiancée went here for lunch our service was phenomenal, our waitress even taught us a few things in mandarin as we are learning. Unfortunately they didn t make my curried beef spicy (I love spicy food) but that s okay. They did make it up to us by giving us some of the most delicious chili oil we ve ever had! The ice cream was also quite delicious. We both really liked the Jasmine tea we ordered. 10/10 experience 10/10 food will definitely be back!

Im pretty sure this is a family run restaurant. The food is fairly typical of westernized Chinese fare and is of similar quality to the other Chinese restaurants in town. The exception being the Peking duck which isnt common. The staff is what boosts this from 3-star to 4-star. Ordered the Peking Duck three course meal and the ginger beef. I arrived when the food was to be ready and had to wait about half an hour for the food to be finished. I was not upset by the wait at all. The lady running front-of-house explained the ducks they received were larger than usual so took longer to prepare. She gave me a Coke while I waited as a thank you for being patient. Really nice staff to deal with. She gave me a box for the food and I am so glad she did. The food contained more duck than 3 people should eat, two large containers of soup, a large amount of duck fried rice, the ginger beef, and an extra serving of pancakes for the duck as another thank you for waiting. The Peking duck was better than I was expecting. The fried rice was a bit dry. There were chunks of pineapple in the fried rice, which I dont like, but is a common practice I had forgotten about when placing the order. Ill go back due to the service and Peking Duck.

Food is great, service is even better. Buffet is great but if going with your family, its a similar price to do a Dinner for X deal during the week. Personal favourites: Shanghai noodle, ginger beef, calamari, wonton soup.

Excellent service. And awesome buffet. At first I felt there wasnt many options to choose from but it is extremely worth it. They make you the individual dishes fresh instead of help your self style. And OMG the dessert is fantastic. A couple of them are handmade and delicious. This will not be the last time we go here by far. Highly recommend Creekside.

We went to this restaurant a few weeks ago and really enjoyed the food. The staff were very friendly. They told us if we wanted anymore food on the buffet to let them know and they d cook fresh food for us. Will be stopping in again the next time we re in Airdrie. Recommend.

Best Chinese buffet in Airdrie! Selection was a little low but we went quite late. Our server was super friendly, asking us what she should bring out, offering to make any special requests we had and ensuring we got seconds and thirds (and insisting we go back for fourths). Great food, great service, cant recommend this place enough!

I was really disappointed with this place. First they told us we needed to make a reservation. When we got there for the smog, there was hardly anything out. He had to go up at least four times to look for something that you actually wanted. When our drinks came, they came in Cans. We were never offered a glass, we were never offered water. They had ice cream there for dessert. It was two pails of no-name brand ice cream. Don t waste your money.

My mom and I stopped by here after shopping at cross iron mills. We had there war wonton soup which we both really enjoyed. We both mentioned the soup broth was the best we have ever had. Plus we also had the spring rolls and dumplings. We had to take home quite a bit.

These guys are great - always a pleasure. Very customer-centric and easy going and they make great Cantonese noodles - crispy duck and even the won ton soup is awesome.

First and last time ordering from here. Food was bland. Chicken chop suey was literally just bean sprouts! Where are the $20 worth of vegetables we paid for? No where to be found. Would not have ordered if we knew we would be getting garnish. Absolutely disappointed and never going back.

The chicken chow mein was Mr.noodles with mushrooms? Why... no idea... the ginger beef had no sauce on it, more like a soup at the bottom. Same with the sweet and sour pork, thought it would be more of a glaze then soup. The fried rice was perfect and the only eatable thing I got. Never write reviews but it was so horrible, wouldnt even feed it to a dog

We ordered food from Creekside Chineese today for the first time and the food was great We were hoping the fried rice to taste the way we used to get in India,and it turned out the same. We were so happy Deep fried wings was perfectly fried and perfect salt.

If this is the best Chinese food in Airdrie, Ill go to the city or order some other cuisine. Ive had better mall food for 1/3 of the price. Some of the poorest Ive had. Beef in black pepper sauce was full of gristle, triming it would take effort and reduce the amount. Chicken fried rice had next to no chicken or egg, dumplings were mostly dough, hardly any meat, and the wonton soup tasted like it was from a can.

Food was good I enjoyed the lemon chicken. The fried noodles was definitely not fried which was a disappointment. I ordered online and it stated food would be ready in 20 mins. I went to pick it up and it wasnt ready in total for 40 mins. They did have a constant amount of delivery people come in though and were busy.

Founds this place by accident cause I was starving and desperate but couldnt find any healthy food close to the highway on my way back to Edmonton by 830pm. From the time I called to the time I picked it up, it was less than 10min. The food (Cantonese stir fried noodles) was very decent. It has lots of fresh veggies, and shrimps bigger than most restaurants would acclaim to be prawns but actually just shrimplets, thick slices of BBQ pork and chicken with a glossy sauce . It was a big portion and delicious! I devoured the whole plate within 15min. And it was a total of only 18 dollars something. The owner after knowing that I was just driving through to Edmonton kindly reminded me to drive safe. 5 stars hands down.

Also i notice almost everytime we have ordered chicken wings from here to go they give us the winglets and not a 50/50 with drumlette. This restaurant doesn t even deserve a star! It was the worst Chinese I have ever had in my life. Chicken chow mien noodles were RAW. We asked why they were hard and waitress stated that that s the way people like it. We mentioned we never had hard noodles in chow mien, she did try to fix and brought back to the kitchen. The dish was back at our table in 4 minutes drowned in a flavourless sauce. We left both noodle dishes behind (barely touched) and waitress was genuinely surprised. Almond chicken was ok for the first few bites but the more we ate it the more we realised how soggy batter was. Salt and pepper wings was the best over all 4 dishes, but we were turned off by everything else and left both chicken dishes behind too. Definitely would drive to Calgary for Chinese food and will not be back.

Wanted a beer with dinner, there was none. Asked if they had wine, nope none. Only canned pop. Food was bland, we received crunchy chow mein noodles. Satay Chicken thick noodles were not spicy they were bland. Almond chicken was not horrible but batter was soggy. Salt and Pepper wings were the hottest dish and had the most flavour over anything else ordered. Very disappointed and unfortunately I would not pay $63 for what we ordered. I will not be back.

Disappointed. It s so hard to find good Chinese in airdrie and we were told this place is good. An hour after ordering I called to ask how much longer, according to them they haven t even started making out food so I ended up sending my husband to get it. We got our food, didn t receive the sweet and sour sauce for the chicken balls. The food was dry, chicken balls tasted old, there was hardly no sauce on the ginger beef, rice tasted as if it was sitting for a while. It was such a bummer!

We ordered last night and it was absolutely terrible. It was flavorless and no bean sprouts. We ordered a dish and it literally tasted like vomit. We wont be ordering AGAIN!!!! Definitely not worth the $84.....

Kind of underwhelming. Ordered the mixed vegetables, but they were basically raw and super crunchy. Food wasnt very hot and to make matters worse, I found a hair in the container.

I ordered my fave : beef ho fan noodles with black bean sauce. This is 1 of the dishes I gauge if I like the Chinese restaurant or not. Finding thru Google, I said I will try this resto out even though its further from my house. I called the woman who took my order is super nice. Very friendly. Same as other big city Chinese resto, 20 to 25mins. I went to go get it, she was super nice. Had a little chat. To my surprise they do have certain dimsum as well! Whaaaa! Psyched! I got home took it out, at first glance I was like darn! Lots of onion and green pepper. Then, I see lots of balck beans! Then smell! Its getting more promising! The moment of truth! Tasted the first bite... I was like darn! I forgot to ask for chili oil. But it was good! I love it! Too bad they dont have bok choy or gai Lan with beef! Oh! That will be sooo good too! Well! I shall be returning needless to say I will try the MA Po Tofu! 2 thumbs up! This will be my to go to Chinese restaurant from now on!

We decided to order from here on Christmas Eve. We ve never tried this place before because we re new to this area. We called around 5 to place a delivery order but since they were busy they said it would be more like 8pm to get delivery. We ordered about 7 different dishes. The delivery driver was super friendly, showed up about 30 minutes early. The food was hot. And every dish was on point. I definitely recommend you give this place a try.

Was pretty disappointed, ginger beef had no sauce and I mean very little in the bottom and absolutely none on the beef. The lemon chicken was also rock hard, so hard we didnt eat any of it. The sweet and sour pork was great and so were the dumplings and rice. Hoping this is a one off, because from the good reviews before hand it caught us by suprise.

Pretty typical Chinese food at a price you expect.

The consistent attention to the food quality and portions sizes keeps me coming back for more. It is a family run business which means the owners learns and remembers your orders. This happens even when ordering over long periods of time. The dinner for one is a great deal and very flexible/choices to choose from as side with a large portion of rice. Would highly recommend their food to anyone. This is my families go to Chinese restaurant. :)

I placed an order for delivery at 5:10 pm, usually Ive recieved my order in under 45 mins. After an hour I phoned back to check on my order, after being on hold for several minutes I was told my order would take an additional hour, it would not be delivered and I had to pick it up... but theyll give me free dumplings, or I can cancel my order. Well shut the front door! I cancelled the order. Service: piss poor Food: just like the 5 other chinese resturants in Airdrie. Theyve lost a loyal customer and Ill be sure to let all my family, friends, coworkers and acquaintances know about our experience.

Buffett style. Chicken was raw. Lots of variety to choose from. Lots of seating. Floors need a good cleaning as they are slippery on some shoes. Serves alchohol. Family restaurant. They have desserts, salads, cake, ice cream. They have take out.

Best Chinese food in 10 years

Good buffet at reasonable price. Staff is friendly and provides decent service. Buffet dishes are replenished regularly so remain fresh and hot.

We go to this place for lunch buffet regularly and it s good value. We went there once and decided to order from the menu and it was very good so for our neighborhood poker night I suggested ordering some food from Creekside. What a disappointment. We ordered all their special dishes and we received some very mediocre dishes. It was so bad I felt responsible and ended up paying for the whole meal. I don t think they will see me or my neighbors order from their menu again.

Buffet has good selection and the quality of the food is great value. Wait staff are courteous and fast.

seriously best Chinese food in airdrie had ginger beef, chicken balls, beef mixed veg, pork chop suey, salt and pepper seafood, and chicken fried rice.. amazing great food hands down.

Fast delivery & great food!

I ordered through DoorDash on Friday and my family and I were excited to have Chinese as itd been one time but what a rip off. The chicken chow mein was great, salt and pepper squid and special fried rice was great and ginger beef was good, just a bit over cooked. Each dish was around $15, which portion wise made sense, but I ordered beef and broccoli and there was hardly any beef, the mushroom chop suey was 90% bean sprouts and I know how cheap that is so that really ticked me off. I also thought to try the pork dumplings, well that was a mistake, the menu made them appear to be like gyoza but they were nothing like gyoza. Very disappointed. Last time we ordered from there close to a year ago it was absolutely fantastic but after spending over $100 in dishes to be mediocre is not worth it.

Amazing service amd great food

Excellent restaurant. Made a large order using their BeyondMenu online ordering portal, the food was ready on time, and they threw in an extra soup I asked for. The order was exactly right, portions were excellent and the quality of the food very good. Id definitely recommend these guys.

Just meh.... spent $50 and everyone is disappointed. Dinner for 4 has one small wonton soup.. maybe enough for 2 people

Awful we got there around 630 everything was pretty much empty and there wasnt even any one ton soup left. I asked if they were putting out more stuff she said ok so we picked through what we dared. it was all dried out and ended up being cold finaly they came out with something I go look and it was just beef and broccoli ate that. and waited a bit and nothing else came so we left $36.00 for some beef and broccoli says we wont be going back.

Definitely the best place for Chinese food in Airdrie. It used to be just decent and similar to everything else, but now under new owners its 100x better!
