I will never come to this location ever again. Not only did my order was wrong the lack of service and communication is horrible. The manager (female long brown hair) clearly hates her job. Beyond rude, not once did anyone come refill our drinks. No checking if my husbands and kids food was okay. So horrible.
Meghan was friendly, punctual and authentic as a server. The food (clubhouse and fries) was delicious, with good amount of turkey and bacon, ripe tomatoes. Place was clean and bright. Music was upbeat. A great lunch, even solo experience.
Well, I have been to many Denny's in my time. However, Denny's in Airdrie is in my top 2 worst locations list. Firstly, the server was not friendly, welcoming, and frankly dismissive of me when I spoke. Even when I asked for a straw for my drink because he bought one for my husband but not me. Yet, he wasn't dismissive of my husband when he asked for 2 dishes with margarine. He just didn't follow directions and brought 3 little plastic things of butter. That, of course, was so hard you couldn't spread it. Not once did he come and check on us to see if we needed and/or wanted anything else, not even a refill of our drinks, which I certainly needed. He didn't even ask how everything was or if it was tasting good. This leads me to how the food actually was. My husband's Clubhouse was beyond subpar. They turkey was dry, and the bread was barely toasted. Most slices (10 out of the 12 pieces) didn't show even a hint of being toasted. I always thought that "chain restaurants" or franchises, while independently owned, all have to follow the same recipes and keep the menus the same. There may be the odd exception with a very small and select number of items on the menu as the location would cater to their clientele and only be done with the permission from the franchises board and/or franchise owner/CEO. If this is so, why is it that of all the different Denny's I've been to, this location puts salt AND pepper on their fries. Yes, PEPPER! I don't believe I've ever had salt on my fries. If there was, I certainly wasn't able to see it. But pepper, I know without a shadow of doubt that I've never had pepper on my fries. Not everyone enjoys pepper on their fries and should be given the choice to put it on or not. And then there are many who need to watch their salt intake for health reasons. Then, when we were done, we actually had to flag down another waiter to ask for to go containers and the bill. Our "waiter" and I use quotations because you actually need to provide services to be considered. Our server was around but decided we weren't worth his time or worthy of his services. At least, that's how we felt. So, my recommendation, drive the extra time and go to a Denny's in Calgary, like the one just off of McKnight Blvd.
My wife and I came to this Denny’s location for the first time after a recommendation and it was outstanding. Ramesh helped serve us and showed an attention to detail I’ve never seen at a dine in spot. I will certainly be back and bringing more people thanks this experience. Oh yeah… the food was amazing! Only had the fruit left to show for hahahaha.
I wanted to just forget about this but it's been on my mind all day because of how icky it makes me feel. I went here this morning to see two aunts and my grandmother, everything went well overall. Except right near the end, when I looked at the remainder of my drink. I ordered an iced tea. But what I didn't notice was that the inside of the cup was covered in strawberry gunk. Keep in mind this rinses off with almost zero pressure, so I was just flat-out given my drink in a used, unwashed cup. I purposely decided not to use a straw, by the way. I brought it to the lady at the front who kinda just took it, unempathetically said "okay" and left. Before I left, the waiter who served us was apologetic and sinciere, which I really appreciated, though I'm still disgusted that the kitchen could even *make* such a massive, dangerous and disgusting screw-up in the first place. You do that to the wrong person, you could get sued for health and safety violations. Seriously guys, you could get someone incredibly sick.
Went there for breakfast. Was my first time there and quite frankly my last. Hash browns were half cooked and the rest wasn't that great either. Not bad service or atmosphere but the preparation of the food. Two words for me. Never again. For the price of a meal these days I expect and want perfection. Oh well. Live and learn
Don’t waste your money! They have the audacity to charge $22.31 for this GARBAGE! Such a shame as Denny’s was a decent place to get appetizers and breakfast. Very unfortunate
We went there for breakfast, ambiance was really nice and staff is nice and friendly. Food is delicious too.. had little bad experience as the girl serving us got busy and didn't come with coffee refill and with other order in time. We had to ask some other staff member for that. He was good and came back really quickly with our order. Overall experience and food was good, the girl checked up on us more often after that.

Have always been accepting me with my service dog. will definitely visit again. The waiter is always welcoming of me and my pup. He tells me to take my time and relax. There is no rush for me to leave. I wish more businesses in Alberta were like this one.

Do you like feeling like you re an inconvenience just for existing? Then this is your place! The staff feel outwardly hostile and annoyed you came in. My kids love this place so we ve given it a few chances but do not come in for Tuesday nights free kids meals. Itll just annoy the server who works Tuesday nights. Not that it s actually busy.. I don t think she wants to serve anyone. I did bring my son in one morning and that server was friendly and pleasant so it s not everyone, but theres a few who will make you regret your choice. Honestly the food isn t terrible and it s reasonably priced and fast but the place makes me feel bad for just coming in. They actually once under charged us, they took off an adult meal plus both kids meals and I pointed it out and she shrugged and said you could ve had a free meal with dead eyes. I was trying to do the honest thing and not rip her off $21 but hey good to know you don t give a $hi+ about this.

Our waiter was rude, spilt our coffee while pouring, and continuous rudeness throughout visits to this Dennys. I would normally leave a tip but after the continuous rudeness towards me and the lack of respect even after being polite to the waiter.

The place was busy but the service was horrible. We waited to be seated and once we were, it took our waiter 15 minutes to come and ask us our drink orders. We already knew what we wanted so ordered everything at once. It then took another 7 minutes to get the coffee and water we asked for. Not once did he come by to check on us or ask if we wanted refills. Our food was like warm when it was served but we couldnt tell anyone because no one bothered to check. Not a very good experience at all.

Placed an order online to this Denny s, there was no option for ordering certain sauces on the side so I asked my door dasher to grab me one and they were rude to the dasher and said no to the side of ranch I even ordered a side of gravy they could have swapped it with. Terrible customer service, will go back to ordering from the Calgary crowfoot location.
Ive been going to Dennys on 16th each Saturday for the last 2 years. Came to this dennys and the hostess was extremely rude. The portions were smaller than 3 other dennys Ive been to and no refills offered until I paid. Horrible experience. Food
to the manager or lady at the front this morning at 11am wearing a blue and white jacket. Im sorry but there has to be someone better then you to greet people. you were awful and rude. no smile, beyond unfriendly and very unprofessional. I let you know when I left that our server was amazing but you were horrible. shame on you. you should be replaced. I watched you interact with sitting multiple tables are you were not smiling and unprofessional to every person. its a shame for this restaurant.

The service is always friendly, although sometimes may be a touch slower due to less staff available to serve the tables. Food is good, we love the wavy fries! Sometimes the portions dont seem consistent with what is portrayed on the menu or in comparison to previous visits.

Terrible service waited forever just to be addressed and we were a big table (8 ppl) but rushed service and had to get up many times to find waiter and ask for things. When I was paying waiter grabbed machine from me and walked away and when he came back he insisted on me just tapping when I looked down he had added $25 tip for himself and got angry when I cancelled the transaction to do it myself that was the most rude thing ever wow the guts. I dont see me visiting the Dennys there again when we move. Thanks Dietary restrictions: Accommodated my sons celiac allergy perfect no issues Kid-friendliness: Accommodated the kids but when I ordered off kids menu still brought me and charged me for a full drink NOT a kids drink.
Have been here a few times with the kids and every time we seem to get Ramesh as our server. Hes awesome with the kids and very attentive with great overall service. Our family always enjoys Dannys breakfast on the weekends and have never had a bad experience here.

Had a very nice meal here with my partner recently. Our food came out fairly quickly and tasted good. Service was pretty good, too. I think only one server was on shift, but we never had to wait too long for our waitress. Overall, a nice Dennys. Would recommend if youre in the area.

If I could give Kimberly the waitress -2 stars we would. Rude, aggressive, pushy as well unfriendly we had to ask for a refills as cutlery as she acted like it was a major inconvenience to her to actually serve us. My toast was burnt...not just dark brown but black and turned butter side down so I would not notice!! The bacon came the same way.....inedible. We were rushed to order, rushed to eat and rushed to pay.....since its open til 4am on a Saturday night and we got there at 730 we didnt see her issues with us. The worst part is as I came out of the washroom she was complaining to a co worker about her tip we left as she clearly didnt deserve one. Management really needs to let her go as she clearly doesnt like her job.
Customer service is normally something every place offers... NOT HERE! I would like to give 0 star Because the Service was so bad. While I was eating, the waitress went to my table and told me, pass me those plates and glasses. I hadnt finished eating yet, and she brings the bill and stayed behind me waiting for me to pay, I didnt enjoy this supper at all, thank you Dennys for giving me the worst Mothers Day gift. Eat and Go!!! (Dennys Airdrie) Its such a disappointment to see a business that we have loyally frequented for so long treat you like just a number. We have been weekly regulars at Dennys in Airdrie, Alberta since they opened up, even during COVID. And yet today I was told today were not welcome to stay for as long as we do. Normally I love Dennys pretty much anywhere Ive travelled but today My home Dennys showed me being a loyal customer means nothing. Yes, we usually relax and enjoy our weekend brunch time for 2-3 hours. She and I take our time eating and then play some quiet small games like Monopoly Deal, MtG, Sorry Go or something like that for a bit. Weve been doing it for almost 20 years, the first ten years at the Calgary McKnight location when we lived near there. We got to know the manager, the servers. It was great. Then we moved to Airdrie and looked forward to when Dennys would open, and it did and since then for years weve been going almost every weekend. We typically roll in just around the tail end of the lunch crowd so by the time were done eating the restaurant is half empty so that our extended presence doesnt impede new people coming in. Weve done this at every location in Calgary and various location in Canada and the U.S. as we travel. We have NEVER had an issue until today. OK during COVID when restaurants had restricted seating capacities we had to respect time limits and we did so gladly. But today on our way out we were told we couldnt stay that long anymore. Ive frequented Dennys as THE place to go anytime to hang with friends, meet people for coffee or lunch and especially late night after weekend events and social gatherings. When did local diners become so unfriendly to their regulars? Especially in smaller centers like Airdrie. I mean I get it if its so popular that theres always a line up. But thats almost never the case when we go. So sad. The food. Good as always. The server, very nice, very friendly. The management - doesnt want us there anymore. So Smittys, or Coras, or IHOP - here we come. Heck Ill even drive into Calgary back to Dennys there.

Even the city dump, where the rats make better serving staff and the food is of much higher standards.

They close at 9. Went in at 8:15, and buddy said sorry, they can only do take-out because the restaurant closes at 8:30. I mentioned that the sign outside says 9 but still wouldnt take us. I have never had a problem with any other Dennys except for this one in Airdrie. This isnt the first time Ive been turned away for 45 minutes or more before closing
The food is always good. Service was fine.
Had steak & eggs over easy w/ shredded hash browns. It was such a good meal! And you could taste that the hash browns were cooked with new fresh oil. Outstanding meal! Dietary restrictions: Have celiac.
Was disappointed having to ask for a refill of my coffee. The when I received my $14. bill and gave the waiter $20. To pay he just assumed that he was to have the change as a tip which I was going to give anyway, but still would have liked to be asked if I wanted my change. The waiter started washing the floor around and next to us with a very strong smelling cleaner which destroyed any memory of how my food had tasted.
Ordered 2 original slams and a grand slam for brunch. The restaurant was not very busy. The food and coffee were good but the waitress didnt identify herself nor did she ever smile, never even bothered to nod or respond to thank you. Had it not been for the quick service I definitely would not have tipped her.
I like this place.
Went in for an early dinner on my birthday, Kat was our sever and she was just the kindest soul. So sweet to all her tables and just absolutely wonderful energy

Dennys in Airdrie is a good place to go for breakfast. The service is good and the servers are attentive. It seems the hollandaise sauce has improved as of lately too!! New brand perhaps? Anyway, better than the one they made the change to a year or so ago. Food
Took a while to take our order but food was good and service afterwards made up for the delay.

I bought 2 50.00 gift cards at the location because I don t trust to buy elsewhere.When we went to the main location for a meal we were told the cards did not work.I had no receipt and the manager did not do anything to help just told to call the number on the back of the card.I did get hold of their headquarters and the cards were good and they will send replacements.My point is the manager made me feel like I was trying to use fake cards.I will never return to this location and urge anyone with cards purchased over the Xmas season to be wary.

I get it, it was busy. But when we were seated we were given our coffees and our orders were taken a short time later. That was the last we seen of our server until our meals arrived. We were never offered coffee refills at all the entire time we were there. Not while waiting the 30+ minutes for our meal. Not during our meals, or even when bringing our bill. 4 dollars for a single cup of coffee that was luke warm was not worth it.
Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. We just left after waiting 45 minutes. We were initially told 10-15 minutes to be seated. We left after being told up to an hour wait more! The place was half empty! Even worse management hid in the back and sent the teenager hostess out to explain to the people waiting. Just awful.
Horrible takeout service. Always delayed or behind. Website NEVER works.

Just want to share my experience with everyone! We stopped in and dined at Denny s last night, we met with the manager Shirley, she was very polite and I really enjoyed the hospitality she showed us! Would love to be able to get her service and experience the service from others!! Happy holidays everyone!!!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE Did not have a good experience. Atmosphere and Interaction was not the best. Menu is too confusing, food presentation was terrible. Found a hair in food. Was totally disgusted. Charged 3.79 +gst for coffee, worst coffee I have ever had. GO ESLEWHERE Food : 1/5
They close at 4AM but we arrived at 3:15AM and the server said that the kitchen was closed and the appliances turned off ????? ok
Always pleasant to go here. Coffee and food always great. Prices are good. Enjoy coming here when in area.
Had a great experience Met Shirley the manager, her hospitality is outstanding and had a great conversation... definitely recommend dinning in, the food was almost as great!!

Sat down at a table for 15 minutes and no service (not even a drink order). Left without service and a lot of disappointment.
Update. We tried to go to Dennys tonight at7:15 and they were closed. Sign says closed at 9pm.
