This is the best spot in Airdrie, foods always great, and the staff s even better.

Children not allowed. With some similar places allowing kids, I understand this is purely establishments policy rather then a required restriction.

Anyone else get borderline food poisoning when they come here ? Only been hand full of times because I m scared tried again last night and yup still puking and poopin my self great ! And i can legit eat anything ..

Wasnt impressed the chicken wings were very grizzly like under cooked and the beef and cheese burger was way to salty I actually couldnt eat it...I ordered spicy fries and i got normal fries and in my opinion they were under cooked....Ill continue ordering from Old Town

Me and a friend stopped in. We ordered pulled pork sandwiches and a couple drinks. The sandwiches were dry... buns stail. Fries were extra... never heard of a sandwich with side extra. The fries were limp and cold... service was slow... the food was a total fail. Wont be back.

Fantastic food, amazing service and huge shout out to Brooklyn, one of the best servers there. The little bit of a negative is the music was a little loud and the rotating lights were pointed at eye level and were very distracting. Would come back again for the brisket

Delicious food, great service! Stopped in and enjoyed daily special for appetizers (BBQ Smoked Wings in Wednesdays) as well as baked chicken and BBQ Beans. Was not disappointed, will return!

Food is consistent, good tasting barbecue. Service is not consistent, sometimes staff are great and attentive. Other times you get someone who clearly needs to be managed actively. This I don t blame on the individual server, it is lack of proper management.

Main Street & Barbecue is fantastic! I had the pork side ribs, and they were some of the best I ve ever tasted tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The variety of sauces was a pleasant surprise, each adding a unique and delicious twist to the ribs. The fries were fresh and crispy, just the way I like them. The atmosphere was inviting and had a cool, laid-back vibe. Overall, it was a great experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for top-notch barbecue!

My consumption was not free, so I dont like being rushed because they have to close. They have a schedule, of course!, but there is no excuse for the new waitresses to serve you reluctantly, knowing only too well the type of job they have!

I was a silly goose who forgot her photo ID, so we ordered food to go because we have always loved the food. The waitress was so kind and respectful and put extra care into our to go order which we really appreciated. We could tell that she felt bad that we had to leave, but we completely respect that she was doing her job and following AGLC rules. They even separated the meats into different containers based on one of our food restrictions which was incredibly thoughtful. We had a lovely Main Street picnic in a park :)

Great value. After 10pm is half price meats. Everything is delicious and drinks are decent price. Happy hours as well.

I ve been a hospitality professional for many years and have never left a bad review but this was a very disappointing experience. Terrible service had us waiting to order drinks and apps then again mains. No consideration from our server at any point in the meal. Bathroom floor was super sticky and disgusting.

A place my husband, myself, and our friends find ourselves sitting down in regularly. Its hard to not come here when youre dealing with the best staff and food in the game! I love Main St. so much and if youre debating on coming here dont. Just walk in and be greeted by the most wonderful humans sit down and order a beer and some wings. You will never be disappointed.

Great atmosphere, the 1 beer we were able to order after waiting for one of the five staff standing at the front to serve was great. That took half an hour. An hour after that and our appetizer still wasn t out but tables around us had no issue. Worst service experienced in years and then fake surprise from the staff when we wanted a bill. It wasn t busy.

Great food and atmosphere sauces are epic

The breky is pretty dam good for the money. Only complaint is they clearly dont have a toaster or a decent loaf of bread in the house. Nor do they have jam and such I guess thats two complaints, but they are related, cousins I think. What they do have is great meats and they put alot on your plate for $14

Got some take out for fathers day. The sliced brisket sandwitch was ok. The coleslaw had a strong vinegar after taste. The pork belly was meh.

Amazing place for service and food

I was there last Friday for a fundraiser that was being held at Main Street. Brooklyn was my server and she was excellent. It was very busy for awhile and she was always attentive and called me by my name everytime she checked on me and if I needed anything. I have not had service like that in a very long time. I was never once without what I wanted. I really just wanted Brooklyn to know that she is a great server and thank you Main Street for a great evening.

Placed an order for small catering. Graeme was such an amazing guide for our 14-16 person party. Food was amazing, as usual, and the price was bang on. Will definitely go back for the next event.

We came in during what I assume was shift change as we watched a server continuously walk by us but nobody stopped. 12 minutes after sitting down that same server stopped by and there were 2 others on. That being said, the server did an excellent job from there. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great in hopes of a Leafs win!

Food was great however it seems there was a significant reduction in portion size for the price, the fact that fries or a side arent included. Also no one was greates, sat and waited and about 5 of the staff were hovered around the bar talking to eachother, it took quite a bit of time for one of them to notice us, waitress was only friendly when it was tip time

The hot mess is the best!!

We called ahead to see if we needed a Mother s Day reservation. However, we wanted to dine as a family which includes our 16 year old son. Unfortunately, we were told that minors are not allowed. Fair enough. But the person said that sometimes on Father s Day they allow it but not Mother s Day. Please tell me that this person was wrong and misspoke. Needless to say, we are going elsewhere and likely won t return.

Food came fast, service was great, portions were large, great selection of beer.

Always busy. Love the food and the ambiance. Parking can be difficult on busy nights. Not a very fancy bar in terms of decorations but theres lots of space to sit so getting a table is not hard on busy Friday nights.

Ribs are deadly!!! Food was fantastic

We came to the restaurant with my Mom in-law who uses a walker. She was unable to access any of the seating. We were very disappointed with the lack of handicap seating and the attitude of the bar tender when I asked about handicap seating. He said we have one table for 2. This wouldn t accommodate our party. Frankly I found this so very insulting and sad!!!

Terrible service, 4 of us sat down and waited just over 10 minutes and never had one waitress out of 3 even look at us.. There was about 20 people total in the place... we left and will not return. The place is going down hill fast...

Ive been here twice in the last week or so and I had two different experiences. The first visit was great. We had some beers and I ordered the brisket and broccoli salad. The brisket was amazing. The espresso bbq sauce goes very well with it. And the broccoli salad was delicious. Food, overall, was top notch. The beer selection is really nice too. Service on that day was great. The second visit, where we just had some drinks, was less great. This was on Family Day and we waited almost 10 minutes for someone to greet us (the place was almost empty) and the server that ended up helping us seemed like she would rather have been anywhere else. When we went the previous time, my girlfriend had a beer with an orange slice in it but we couldnt remember exactly what beer it was. When we asked the server she shrugged and said they dont really do that, but it was MAYBE the mango wheat ale. We ended up getting the mango wheat ale and it did come with the orange slice, but the uncertainty left us with a weird feeling. It just seemed like the server didnt care one way or another. Im hoping that second experience is a one-off, but due to that I cannot give this place 5-stars. Ill likely be back soon and hopefully my next experience is better - but if that happens again we wont come back. Overall, food is fantastic, the atmosphere is great, and the smell of the smoked meats is intoxicating. But a bad service experience will put off anyone.

After 10pm this place turns into a club. Starts off with 80s/90s hits. Then moves into newer music as the night goes on. Fantastic place to party, or go earlier for a casual stop. P.s. Get the Burnt Ends!!!! Food : 5/5

The food is always great, but the staff is inexperienced. I ordered it through Google Maps, but it was too expensive, so I called the store. I said Ill order the same food directly through DoorDash, so please cancel my Google order I told her the name and the order details are the same, and the home address is the same. But the food I ordered through Google was delivered, and the food I ordered through DoorDash was delivered Is it hard to calculate an order? I became a fool who ordered the same food twice The food is great, but the staffs behavior is very poor. I didnt know if the head was a decoration, so I tried to translate it, but oh really. If the name, address, and order details are the same, I have to be suspicious and I cant move forward... I even made a phone call!???!

Our favorite restaurant in Airdrie. Best local brisket in Calgary and Airdrie communities by far! The brisket tacos, nachos, & platter options are fabulous melts in your mouth, fall apart and juicy flavourful smoked meats! I also highly recommend the salt and pepper smoked wings!

Food was blah, soggy and packaged poorly.

All their meat is smoked. Best wings in town. Had the club to that was delicious. Patio is great in the summer. Staff is friendly, beer is cold. What more can you ask for. Plus they have a mechanical bull so extra points.

I ordered the Mac N Cheese with bacon to go. It tastes good but it packs some heat. I wasnt expecting it to be spicy so I wouldnt order it again. The menu should say spicy Mac N Cheese.

Wasnt wheelchair accessible like they described to us over the phone so we had to go to another bar.

Very nice atmosphere with some neat decor. They have 2 huge screens to watch any big event. The food was good but spicy all round. The service was very slow, it took almost 90 minutes to get the food we ordered. I dont think the service is normally slow and the restaurant took it upon themselves to comp our drinks because of the service. So overall the customer service even with an issue was rectified without us saying anything. A few items sold out like the wine and short ribs but I think that is to be expected for a place that smokes a certain amount of meat daily.

Had dinner with my family on December 31st and was pleasantly surprised with the food and service! Tried the brisket nachos which were delicious. Then had the Spicy Chicken sandwich and it was amazing, the spiciness was right on spot. Their mac and cheese was amazing as well you, can add a meat if you want and we added brisket to ours and again the meat was just so flavourful. Highly recommend.

Best wings in Airdrie, try the Texas Buffalo. Their BBQ, dirty fries are also a must try. They could do better with their cocktails.

Great food. Service was excellent. Beer selection is very good. Great big screens and lots of other TVS to catch all the different games.

Preety good bbq place. Service can be slow at times, but the food is pretty consistent.

Some dishes was great while some are not. Huge portion though. Service was friendly. It was one of the only places that opens late after work so we gave it a try. Will go back for the nachos and ribs but not the poutine and the brisket sandwich.

Brisket nachos are delicious, South Block Big Lick Lager was great. Place was very loud and kind of uncomfortable, but maybe Im too old. Server Katie was awesome.

My third time here! Each time has been amazing!!!! Servers are super, food is fantastic, bathrooms are clean, everything about Main Street Beer & BBQ is top notch! Today I ordered brisket, turkey breast, green beans & corn bread w/ honey butter Wow! So good! Previously have had the smoked wings, absolutely delicious, definitely a MUST TRY when you check this place out My server Andrea today was awesome!

Had a late night meal at Main Street the food was good but I have to say the service given by Hailey was what made my night. She was quick, knowledgeable and super hospitable even though she was handling many by herself. Will return and request Hailey!

Well, Im a terrible food reviewer! I have been coming here since it was new, Im not a regular, but Ive been here about a dozen times. Never taken a picture, generally not even pulled out my phone! When I come here Im enjoying the food, beer, and company I keep. The staff has always been really good to me, and accommodate any wishes that I might have. I only hand out five stars to places that I love, and I always have a great time here! Thanks for the memories, hopefully I can remember that I need some pictures next time Im here.

Beautiful selection of beer and whiskey. Including the rare blantons gold. Throw in the food. Would be a 5 if they had more than just ice cubes. Why would you have a smoked old fashioned if you dont have big ice? Biggest mistake getting rid of the big cube.

First time here. Recently returned from North Carolina after having experienced their bbq smoke houses and looking for a local restaurant that could satisfy me. Well I found it! The brisket, baked beans and cornbread was fantastic. I prefer a moist brisket and this place delivered a succulent flavorful brisket. Im very particular about my cornbread too and found theirs to be on the soft just out of the oven texture. It too was delicious and exceeded my expectations. I was also very pleased with the baked beans! Katie served us and she was extremely knowledgeable about the food and the beer, allowing us to sample South Blocks offerings. The Judaculla NEIPA, Tree Shaker Bourbon & Peach Ale and Breeze Wood Blonde Ale appealed to me and I intend to have these at my next visit. Katie sure made a great first impression and helped me find my new favorite smokehouse

Meat. Good. Turkey was moist and flavourful. Loved the updated sauces (Espresso and Spicy Vinegar)

Omg, insanely good! So much perfect food. Had the brisket sandwich, with side being bacon wrapped corn and cornbread. Nachos are the best. 10/10, left extremely satisfied. Flavors great, add the bbq sauces, unreal.. Our new Favorite! No pictures, handsfull of awesome food. Server(Hope) was perfection!

This is hands down one of my favourite places to go for adult nights in airdrie. The food is to die for!! Ive never had anything that I didnt like here. So explore the menu because its all amazing!

Food tasted very good but tasted like not enough, so I had to have dessert . The service was nice with Andrea. Atmosphere for lunch time was loud and busy with all the attention demanding screens which would not have been so bad if just relaxing and alone but for our 14th anniversary not so good, the music was loud even in this large place I could hardly carry a conversation with my wife. Price of meal was a little out of a pensioners budget, but it was for my dear wife. I was hoping for better. Maybe somewhere else next year for our 15th anniversary Vegetarian options: Steamed green beans were lacking any flavour. But they did come with crispy onions and bacon bits, but they just fell off. I just ate them afterward, which tasted all right. The brisket was very good but not quite satisfying for quantity per dollar value. A half of a pound of it didnt seem like it. LOL it tasted so good with mostly heavy embellishment of fat compared to lean. Pecan pie was a hit even with the heavy crust. Very nice moist flavour with the filling and dollop of whipped cream. I might go back again if I dont find another place with flavourful good brisket with a bit larger quantity for that expenditure.

Asked this crew to take on our class reunion, not knowing how many people we could have. They made accommodations to meet our groups needs and made our group very welcome. I would go back again for the food alone, but the services was great as well and I was beyond impressed!!!

Mainstreet has stepped their game up. Definitely my new favorite spot in Airdrie, the waitresses and bartenders are so great, the food is amazing (try the natchos with brisket)and the drinks are unreal (especially the strawberry margaritas) Seriously cant go wrong.

One of the best BBQ places in greater Calgary! Parking: Lots of parking available. Wheelchair accessibility: No ramp but all the tables are elevated so I imagine it would be difficult for people in wheelchairs or other mobility issues.

My girlfriend took me here as a treat. I tried the brisket and as expected it was phenomenal. I liked all the sauces too. Cornbread was a great touch. My girlfriend seemed to enjoy the wine. Our server, Hope, was an excellent hostess and made us feel welcome and taken care of. I will return one day soon.

FIRSTLY..... Love their TEXAS longhorn mounts on the walls!!! still trying to figure out how to sneak eon of those bad boys out of the pub.... totally kidding but they are so pretty. Okay we came here for a wedding reception: Good drink selection, great food (smoked wings, brisket, etc.) and friendly, efficient staff. Prices are about mid-range for this sort of place (not exactly cheap but not as expensive as some). The atmosphere here is really nice too, seats might not be the most comfortable for a long time, but overall nice ambiance, lots of TVs, open air concept for nice evenings.

The beer is over priced and the food is alright as far as BBQ places go.

Food is ok not that great. Service slow as turtle. I did a pick up it says it was ready came there I had to wait another 30 more minutes.

Cant really say anything about my experience here. I came in, seated myself, listened to the obnoxiously loud UFC, waited 20 minutes and then left because I was never served.

If you ask the servers to see if the kitchen can make you some ruin-your-hole-day wings, they will do just that. Im currently curled up on the couch, writhing in pain, feeling like an extra in an aliens movie. Waiting. No. Praying for the sweet release of death to take me and rid me of this torture. It feels like I ate white hot coals wrapped in razor blades. The couch is more of a water bed now due to the sheer amount of perspiration. Im pretty sure my life has passed before my eyes at least once. The wracking body chills necessitated a house temperature with mid summer vibes. I love hot sauces, but this made me reconsider my life choices up to this point. I no longer fear death or worry about the minutia of life. All there is, is pain. The espresso BBQ sauce on the tables is top notch and both the pork belly bites and the spicy sausage were fantastic. Staff were amazing and kept the refreshments coming. Truly enjoyed the experience. If I could give them 1 star for enabling my self destruction I would do it, but that wasnt an option. Vegetarian options: Hahahaha hahahahahahahaha!

Mediocre experience saved by amazing service. Thankfully, Peyton (our server) was extremely kind, helpful and speedy. She gave great recommendations and even took it upon herself to ask about allergies and aid my cousin (who is disabled) in finding what he would like to eat! He s been talking about her non stop for two weeks now and can t wait for his next visit.! 5 stars thanks to Peyton! We will be back!

I dont ever leave reviews but this deserves it if ever... back on Oct. 2 I lost my sister to a rare cancer. After spending all day at the hospital experiencing the worst pain I feel like well ever experience in our lives.... we stopped at Main St. on the way home as we hadnt eaten all day. When being seated the waitress asked us how our days were and I couldnt even hold it in and told her we had just lost my sister... when it was time to get the bill, they gave us a goodie bag instead with some extra free food as well as comped our meal. We were is disbelief. It seriously meant the world... You wouldnt expect businesses to do that... it shows what a difference small gestures of kindness can make. Ill be forever grateful to them for making the worst day of our lives a bit brighter. I also have to speak to the food... Its SO good. Ive had the medium spicy chicken strips (probably the best chicken strips Ive ever had), mac n cheese, hot wings, watermelon salad and deep fried pickles, all really really good. Ive raved about this place ever since and have since been back when I was in town again for my sisters celebration of life. Thanks Main St. :)
