Love it here, the staff the food, the whole thing all together. I always try and get the dynamite shrimp its sooo good!!!

Food has always been good when I go here. Staff is friendly and quick to help with any request. Vegetarian options: My vegetarian friend had no problem finding something she could eat. Parking: It s in a strip mall so there s always parking.

Always really liked coming here over the years, it was busy and we got our appetizer before our drinks came and ate the appetizer before our mains were ordered and were never asked if we wanted more drinks. Finally our food came and it looked like the deep fat fryer should have been cleaned. fish n chips. It looked so over done and burnt, and today my tummy is regretting it.

We took the kids to OJs this evening for dinner and we were really glad we made OJs our choice. The food came out really quickly and was hot and delicious. Our server was very nice and attentive and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice and homey. We will definitely return.

The space was good, the staff and atmosphere good. But the meal fell flat. Lack of taste, the fries were fried dry (burnt) and the mash potatoes was from a bag (flakes). With so many potatoes in Alberta, freshly done is better. Not sure if I would revisit but always like to do things twice at least. So will be back

Attended Airdrie location Saturday July 20 at dinner time. Excellent service with no complaints. . However might have been the worst nachos ever. Sent back once for lack of cheese. Other ingredients were sparse as well.

Food was stale and over spicy. Had a bad stomach later.

My kids took me there for Mother s Day. The food was great, the restaurant is very nice, great atmosphere. The waitress we had was fantastic, professional and genuinely friendly with a sense of humour, gave us good advice on meal choices and came back several times to check on us. I d go there again for sure.

I have to say Im pretty disappointed with OJs. I want to start off by saying I really like OJ, in person their food is always good. I ordered my food for delivery and it took 1 hour and 50 minutes to get to my house. I live 10 minutes away. There is no way a place was this busy. Ive ordered from other places in the city and the longest Ive had to wait was 1 hour. I threw the food out when it got here because the fries were soggy and the burger was cold and moist. I likely wont be back at this location. Unfortunately.

I often meet friends there for a catch up/ chitchat lunch. Their food is pretty good and you cant go wrong with your choice of TWO sides with your sandwiches/hamburger or wraps! And the waitresses/waiters always give a great service with a smile!!!

got a pulled pork poutine. Ate half the fries before realizing the meat was not pulled pork , it tasted rotten and was rubbery. Manager did not come to the table to speak to us just relayed the message to the waitress that too much was ate. Was never offered to have something else until the recipe was given to us , with $3 off. Very poor customer service will not be back.

My first time at this location as I moved to the neighborhood a few months ago so had wanted to try them. Today I was craving breakfast. Ordered bacon & eggs, pretty easy simple straightforward meal asked for eggs scramble dry, bacon crisp. Potatoes were hot and crisp, bacon cold and crisp (which I can live with!) but eggs were done just as I had ordered but COLD. So when my server finally came back to see how my meal was I informed her and she went to have them remade (I didn t want my whole meal remade as that s a waste) my server Taryn wasn t by any means at all pleasant but now I got a strong sense she was ticked (how about some training in dealing with customer concerns!) And her attitude didn t get any better the rest of the time! I had to ask the young guy serving my newly made eggs (which were hot but now mushy) if he could bring me another strawberry jam as the package I opened was like dried glue and you couldn t even remove it from the packaging. Not sure why but I waited a long time for Taryn to bring me another jam! I had to ask for a coffee refill as I obviously was not going to get any without requesting it. First and likely last time I will support this location. Very disappointing food quality and unpleasant servers are no reason to return when I have discovered so many great food establishments in Airdrie

Ive been to a few Original Joes locations in the Calgary and Edmonton area and the Airdrie location is by far the best in food quality and service by a mile. My kids love going there for a poutine(one of the best in Airdrie) and the staff are always so welcoming and friendly. I can honestly say that Ive never had a bad experience at OJs Airdrie. The food is always good, the beer is always cold and the staff are top notch. Look forward to coming back and keep up the great work OJs Airdrie.

I have never had a bad experience at the Airdrie Original Joes location. The food is always great, the servers are always kind and prompt. And the new atmosphere is great now that they have renovated it. I will be going again and again.

We love the new look, and the food is delicious. The dill dipping sauce is outstanding - one of my favorites. Glad Airdrie has a great spot like this to enjoy a casual dinner with my wife.

I was served by Taryn tonight, she was so pleasant and professional and frequently checked to make sure me and my girlfriend were happy! It was a big deal because it was our 2 year anniversary and she made sure everything was special. Thanks for the great experience Taryn!

My fettuccine came out a bit watery, but my server Bryana got it remade right away, and it came out perfect! She gave amazing service, and was so kind and polite. The sweet potato fries were amazing good with dip but a bit cold. We did love the bruschetta with crostinis. The dry ribs arrived cold and had very little meat in on it. It was burnt as well. The tomato bacon soup had no bacon in it and lacked flavour/seasoning. My French dip was ok but it was lukewarm however generous with meat. My daughter s burger was supposed to be grilled cheese burger and it didn t have much cheese in it. The food didn t arrive hot or had much flavour to it. It s ok but mostly due to cold food, we didn t enjoy it that much. The server was not in a good mood and she didn t ask us how the meal was. It wasn t very busy tonight. However we did enjoy playing Song Bingo . We had fun playing it.

On Saturday evening around 9:30pm I have arrived at the restaurant and was waiting for the waitress to assist me. I was waiting at the front desk where I see a board that says please wait to be seated. I was waiting for around 15-20 mins to see if any waitresses is going to get a table for me. There are hardly around 4 groups of customers (not busy at all) but the waitress doesn t even bother about the customer who was waiting for the table. I felt really bad and realized how rude the waitress was and just returned.

Good food but terrible waitstaff. Took forever to come to us even though the place was empty. Wouldn t recommend if you want refills for drinks.

Not a single piece of chicken in the fettuccine. Tiny piece of stale garlic bread. Cold. We did order delivery, so maybe that wasnt their fault.

Fun music bingo night on Monday. Everyone in the group had fun. Our beef dip was so yummy, but so weird that they wouldnt cut it in half for us to share. First time that has ever happened to us.

If a restaurant wants to offer skip the dishes, then treat those customers like those that are in house. An hour for fries and ribs is beyond unacceptable for turnover. -2/10

One of my favourite local spots. The food is always good, the service is casual, welcoming and fast. I love that the GM, Alexis, takes time to check in on the guests and makes everyone feel like a regular. Megan is also a familiar face who makes dining there so easy and fun. Looking forward to checking out the new summer menu too! I d highly recommend the lettuce wraps, there s always a good choice!

We have been to OJs fom Medicine Hat to Grandpraire and Whitecourt. We live in Airdrie and i can tell you it never dissapoints -always great food

Average service, some of the food is above average. Daily specials and happy hour deals could both use some work. None of their specials are really a good deal, usually just less food or drink for less money. Im sure there are some parents who love that they can bring their kids out for food and drinks, but its not really the vibe after a long day at work, or your coveted Saturday off where you want to unwind on a patio and have a drink. Tables full of kids around you, and kids running through the place is enough for some people to pack it in and go to a different place so they can feel more relaxed and have adult conversations with out worrying about offending a child or their parents.

Lovely outing on the patio. Its set up very nicely. Food is always good. Our server today was exceptional and friendly and lovely.

Friendly staff and our food came in good time. Our fish & chips would have been better had it not been over cooked. I noticed another order being served to another table and the food was over flooded/fried. Keep an eye on the deep fryer and I believe the food will be much better.

Food was good but service was horrible. The waitress was barely ever at our table and was talking to some random person at the bar with all the other waiters/waitresses while on her phone. There was no one on the floor serving people for most of the time!

The food was excellent and a large portion. I had the blackened chicken burger and it came with a choice of two side dishes. The chicken was very tender but not spicy enough. The side Caesar salad was very good and had lots of bacon and parmasen slices. I hadnt been to an Original Joes for years but will definitely go back as it had a great menu selection. I also liked the idea that dogs were allowed on the patio.

Weve never had a bad meal or experience at OJs. We also love doing take out as every item is individually packaged.

Had the fish and chips, portion was good the dill dip was great for the fries. The fish batter was maybe a little overcooked but better that way than undercooked haha. Service was good. There were some bugs that flew in because of the open door from the patio areas but not a big deal for our table. Would have been horrible if it was a bee or wasp hate those bugs. Would come back again for sure.

Fun atmosphere and great staff. Within walking distance of our house so we often will go for a happy hour drink. We would prefer if there was some healthier options on the menu. Food is average pub style food.

We came in for lunch on Sunday and everything was great. We had Alexis for our server and she was fantastic as always.

Our server was great! She had light hair that was pale yellow and pale pink. She made great recommendations and we truly enjoyed our meal.

Compared to other casual chain restaurants this was an underwhelming experience. Went with 4 other people and everyone seemed to share this opinion. I got the classic eggs benny and asked for soft and got hard instead. I didnt bother asking to get a new portion. The hollandaise sauce had a weird foamy consistency and didnt really taste like a hollandaise sauce. The hash browns were good and crispy. The waitress was friendly and checked on us frequently.

The food was pretty good and our server was very helpful in choosing a suitable dish that was very tasty. Understandably prices are going up across-the-board but it is getting pretty expensive, with a hamburger and fries now at about $20, and add another $2 if you want onion rings. For a piece of cheese it s also $2 to add to a burger. Ouch.

We ate at the Airdrie Location We had 2 orders of fish and chips and one order of beef dip. The fish order is HUGE. About a foot long. Fries are amazing. Gravy is good. Onion rings are crisp the dill dip is good. The beef dip is shaved so it was a good eat. The only thing I would change is more horseradish and more heat. The music was low enough to talk which is fantastic as 2 of us are half deaf. Service was quick and efficient. Nothing forgotten. Will return

Had not ordered from OJ s in months, they have increased their prices like everyone else, but have literally cut their portions in half. I ordered a sandwich and got half a sandwich and the fries were so over cooked and hard I was worried I would break a tooth. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and said it didn t really taste like pork and didn t finish it, so we ended up having cooking dinner after all.

We are regulars at OJ s in Airdrie - service and food are fantastic. Staff are awesome, always there with a happy face. Great Mgmt.

Phoned an order in, lady on the phone sounded annoyed. Thought maybe they were busy. Arrived to pick up order, the hostess looked annoyed I was there. No hello, how are you. No thank you afterwards. Only a few tables had customers. Food was good though!

Great staff and service. Interior is due for a facelift and needs to be updated. Missing tv s and not being able to change tv channels due to issues with the cable company is not great for people coming in to watch a game.

For a chain restaurant, I was very impressed with the food, service and patio. We had a group and 6, and all of our meals were delicious, and incredibly large. The meals come with 2 sides each, instead of just 1, and the plates are stacked with food. It was nice to be able to have both a salad, and fries included with my meal. Gravy was provided free of charge with the fries , and they were exceptional. I had a beef dip, with tender and tasty roast beef. We had a teenage boy with us, and he was even full when we left, which is no small feat! They also have a lovely glassed in patio, and we enjoyed sitting outside as we ate our dinner. The service was exceptional. Thank you for the food and service - we ll be back!

Decent place to dine in but if you are planning to order on Skip or any other app DONT. You would need to order it at least 3 hrs in advance. Absolutely brutal. No place in Airdrie takes longer. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Love going for the fries, cobb salad,, lettuce boat wrap. However; service is never that great. Only 2 tables inside. 3 on the patio. Had to flag waitress every time beer, cocktails were empty or needing anything . This has happened 3 times in last visits in a month.

Went for an after dinner snack, we had mocha mud pie, it was yummy. So very busy on a Saturday nite, but we were shown to a table right away, server was very bubbly, we will definitely return soon!

Sat on patio, was a nice space. I originally ordered the Tuna Poke on the specials menu card, it arrived in a small side bowl on a plate with tortilla chips- not a full meal at all, but probably a good snack option. Original drink options were tasty.

Its been a long time since I was at this OJs. Well actually since it was built, I was there the first day it opened, well to be honest, my partner and I built it. The food then is the same as it is now. Always good, staff always friendly, I will be back again, this time I wont wait so long, Thanks for keeping the memories and taste alive.

The price of the OJ experience is starting to exceed the experience itself. Probably the best fries in town and the dill dip is terrific. Service can be spotty but the menu is interesting enough to keep me coming back.

Good food, great staff

Ambience was nice on the patio. Three of us ordered the Mahi Mahi fish tacos with an alcoholic beverage. It looked ok upon on arrival, however the 3 of us tried to figure out the mystery meat? We are all fish lovers and this was not fish. Texture was that of chicken, little bits of it like floor sweepings served on a bed of lettuce (what happened to coleslaw with fish?) Never had a fish taco without actually getting a piece of fish. Missing also was the avacado, cilantro & chili aioli. Instead it was served with tomato salsa? Not impressed. I had it with a side salad which was fresh and fine. However 2 hours later I stopped at a deli and bought a sandwich cause I was starved. We are seniors and none of us are big eaters, but left hungry.

Service was great, food was great, lots of patience with a toddler. Best restaurant experience since covid messed everything up. Definitely coming back. Brianna was a great server.

The food was ok except for the fries looks garbage saggy, salty, looks black may be Joes never change oil. Is just a waste I couldnt eat it. ( see attached )

Update - I did go to OJs again and sat on the patio. We both had a decent meal and a few beverages. Things were much better than our last visit! They are listening and trying to get back on the right track! OJs in Airdrie has gone so far downhill! I am not even sure if they have a standard from the kitchen anymore. The beer and beverages are always great, service is usually ok. The food - it is hard to imagine what might be happening in that kitchen! Hard to mess up our food so badly, and a few other tables around us as well. Overcooked, undercooked, missing ingredients, wrong food orders delivered.....sadly we saw it all. Super disappointed to say the least, OJs was always an easy local place for a bite and a few beers with friends. But sadly, I dont think well be back until some issues are fixed.

I would totally visit again!!! The server was quite engaging, the atmosphere was perfect (pub feel) and there was lots of great drink options to be had. Cant wait to visit next time Im back in Calgary.

Returned here recently and upgraded from a 3-star to a 5-star review. The food is incredible! The young man running food to the tables was very sweet and professional. Our waitress was lovely and very knowledgeable. For how busy it got, we were well taken care of! Very impressed!

Moved to Airdrie a few months ago and OJ s has been our absolute go to! Food is tasty, service is awesome (especially Alexis!), atmosphere is fun. They have a kids menu which is great for our 1 year old. Take out is just as good, so I m sure we ll be doing plenty of that while they close for renovations. Can t wait to see the new space in the new year!

Loved the food and service. Found out that I can order almost any of the alcoholic mixed drinks as a non-alcoholic (BONUS!). Another great local place that we will frequent again soon.

A large group of friends and I went for lunch. We had not seen each other in years. We were excited to have a bite to eat and a drink or two. Very disappointed with this place, the food was never great, but now the cheapest thing on the menu is over $20. Chicken tenders are over $22!!!!! Needless to say we left and ate lunch somewhere reasonable. Absolute disgrace on those trying to support local during these times, yet you can only gouge. Cant wait to see the doors shut for good.

Stop by here the other day ago for lunch. Staff is friendly and helpful, good selection on their menu. Had a beef dip which was good but 20 dollars for this meal seems a little pricey compared to other restaurants. The rest of their menu seems to be a bit pricey too, just keep that in mind when you go.
