Great food service is pretty good, love there caesars!

Ive had such great breakfast here lately. Great service friendly staff and delicious eggs.

1st time visit. Food was both abundant and tasty. We were impressed with the coleslaw which was creamy and slightly sweet.

I came in for dinner Friday evening with my wife and grandson. The blond host lady was very rude, she didn t greet us, just told us to follow her, threw the menus on the table and walked away. Didn t even give a kids menu for my 5 year old grandson. Overall the food was great and the service after this experience from the host lady was excellent.

Kid-friendliness: Menus available for kids. Coloring sheet and crayons. Booster seats and highchair. Wheelchair accessibility: Large vehicle spaces to park. Large doors to get a wheel chair through but someone does have to hold the doors open.

We both ordered fish and chips was awesome. The service was great and we will be back again.

It was a great place for breakfast, my son was disappointed in his meal but other than that it was very good experience!

Parking: There are a few parking spots available by the entrance but most of it is in the plaza. At times the plaza is full. Kid-friendliness: Kids love going as they receive their kids deals, coloring pages with crayons.

The California Chicken was the best chicken burger Ive had in my life. Best ever. The service was A1 and our server Stephanie was very pleasant and attentive. Definitely worth the drive to Airdrie.

Went for dinner. For the a couple of dollars more than McDonald s you get to sit down with a friendly staff, quick service and a beer if you want. I would go again.

Service was good, the food I ordered was steak with mashed potatoes and veggies. The steak was very chewy and not taste, I only liked the mashed potatoes. Also there was a mistake with the bill, $32 for the steak and that was not the price on the menu so I asked the waitress and she kindly fixed it. I payed $27 for steak with no taste. The other plate, fish and chips were very yummy. I didn t complain because I don t like food being thrown out

I ordered the Veggie Brekkie Bowl. Says it comes with peppers and onions. I couldnt see any within the dish so asked our server. She said they were diced on the bottom of the bowl. On the bottom of the bowl I found 2 pieces of pepper - both which together were literally no bigger than my baby fingernail. The diced onions were slightly more at about half a teaspoon. For $18.99 - what a rip-off.

I came to this location 2 times and the 2 times I came there was hair in my food, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered takeout which as you may guess was hair in my food again, the manager was very rude when I reported it he didn t even offer a refund, when my boyfriend went to pick up the food he wasn t being apologetic at all about the poor service, instead he said whatever he s very disrespectful!!!! The food was cold and hash browns were undercooked and disgusting!!

Went there on Saturday, wasnt crazy busy. Got sat, and waited and waited and waited for a server....nothing every came. 2 girls would walk by every time. Never stopped. So after 15 you better believe you guys dont deserve our money! Thank goodness Big T BBQ is just across the street and were very accommodating to their customers!

I had only ever been to Rickys for breakfast before this trip. What a treat dinner was. Rickys has a veggie burger! Wasnt expecting that. Cheap pints of beer - good beers. And the kids got ice cream at the end of their meal.... With a little tray of whatever toppings they wanted!

My daughters favorite place.....kids get a make uour own Sunday after their meal, so obviously thats her favorite place.

Went there with a friend for a steak lunch since its a bar and grill but they didnt serve steak at lunch very disappointed but ordered a sandwich instead the sandwich was a little flat not very tasty chicken wings were good and the shrimp also nice place anyways

Amazing food. I had the Eggs Benny with a side of tomatoes, and it was the prefect breakfast! Eggs were done to perfection, at least to my liking. I had a Mimosa and a decaf coffee. Service was great and the waitress was very attentive.

My wife and I ate at Rickys 2 weeks ago at approximately 8:30pm. My wife had ate there before with a friend and she liked it, I had never eaten at Rickys before so I wanted to give it a shot. We both ordered the fish and chip platter that came with shrimp. The fish was excessively oily and my wife had one piece of fish that was a lot smaller than the rest, at least I thought it was a piece of fish but when I questioned her later, she said there was no fish in it, she received just a piece of fried batter, had I known that at the time, I would have told her to return it. The shrimp was better than the fish but not by much, the fries were decent. Based on my first experience, I am not likely to eat at Rickys again and I will not be recommending it. Chris, you know why I rewrote this review.

I enjoy getting breakfast here. The staff are always friendly to me, and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed most of the time. Parking: It can be a little hard to find parking during busier times but usually not too much of an issue.

Cant go wrong with Rickys. Good food good service.

Awful experience. Decided to treat ourselves and our kids for brunch. We waited 20 mins in the entry way to be seated and then another 20 mins for someone to take our order. Then when the food came it was terrible. The toast was cold with no butter on it. The hash browns were literally white, they were completely uncooked. The server did take them off the bill at least. None of this is the servers fault, the place seemed to be grossly understaffed.

I miss the steak and eggs.

A bit of old fashioned diner energy. I have enjoyed their plant based burger before. Today we went for brunch and I enjoyed getting a waffle with double strawberries. The waffle was good and the amount of each serving of strawberries was decent. A good coffee. Prices are good. Our serving of fries to start were piping hot and tasted great. Good service

My husband ordered eggs benedict and had terrible food poisoning afterward. The eggs smelled off and the English muffin was soggy, hash brows were undercooked. My fries were overcooked and the chicken tenders were bland. Very expensive for what we got. A glass of orange juice was 1/4 price of my meal.

Me and my dad had a fantastic lunch today. Our waitress was fantastic.

Today was our second visit to this Ricky s location. The service is excellent, the food is great and the atmosphere is perfect for a family visit. I especially appreciated the chat with our server, who also the manager - what a lovely woman you are. We will be back anytime we re in the area and need a yummy meal! *our son gives the coffee five stars

Love to come here for lunch when Im visiting my parents in Airdrie. Food is great and fair-priced, and atmosphere is so cozy.

I went at 4:00 pm to meet my girlfriend to catch up on each others lives in this busy season. The resteraunt was clean and peaceful. The chicken wings were cooked perfectly, and the waitress was patient when we repeatedly asked for a couple of more minutes and let us know that the sauce could be put on the side. Big Thumbs Up!!!

The manager Chris on today shouldnt be a manager. We came in today for lunch and I ordered turkey dinner and my boyfriend ordered a breakfast. First off the waitress came to the table once to give us our food and one to take our order. When the food came out the turkey tasted like rubber like it was heated in the microwave, the veggies on the plate were not cooked at all maybe grilled and re heated very quickly. My boyfriend his over easy eggs were hard and barely had any runny yoak as he eats it with toast. The pancakes tasted like whole wheat and starchy pancake batter. The when we complained to the manager Chris didnt even listen to the problem he just grabbed everything off the table and told us in an ignorant way its off the bill. That wasnt what I was even looking for, I wanted to see a menu and maybe order something else but he didnt want to hear it pretty much just pushed us out the door. Honestly I wouldnt let him manager a lemonaid stand. The waitress as well saw her 1 time in an hr and then when I told her I didnt need my coffee filled as I have haft a cup left then ignored me and fill it up anyways ruining the coffee that I was drinking. I will never come back this was by far the worst service Ive ever had and Ive been here before several times. And when I asked for gluten free they were not helpful in the slightest

I had chicken and waffles. It was delicious. My wife had a typical breakfast and it was decent. This is your typical breakfast feel. The food is good enough but I go to these type of places to have a good conversation and the options are good. 3 star because its exactly what you should expect from a diner type restaurant feel.

It was amazing! The food was awesome, and my boyfriend and I both enjoyed every moment. Cozy and quiet for a Friday night. Fast service as well, we werent even in there for an hour! The two staff who served us a young lady with short dark, I think black hair, bangs, and pretty press on (?) Nails, and a tall young man with light brown short hair and glasses (I apologize for not catching your names!) Were amazing. And to the young lady who served us, and asked us about our evening plans, we did make it to the bowling alley but he didnt win, we tied! Definitely coming back sometime!

We just left this location and I wanted to give props to our server. I wish I asked his name all I know is he s going to school in Edmonton soon and works 3 part time jobs. This young mans customer service is outstanding!! Rarely do you get someone so pleasant and friendly who checks on you multiple times and even stops to ask if a specific thing you requested was to your satisfaction. I did let him know how fantastic his service was but also wanted to let his employer know how fantastic he is!! Keep up the awesome work and thank you so much!

BEN! My first time at Rickis, my mom decided to take me here for apple crisp. Our waiter Ben, was just a peach. He was friendly, helpful and considerate! Knowing that it takes a bit because they make their apple crisp fresh, he came over after about 5 minutes and apologized for the wait. We had requested a tea from the hostess, and he noticed we were out of water and he refilled the pot promptly. The best part? he even went out of his way to fix (and i know i sound crazy but i cant help it) one of the wine bottles up on the rack just above the register by the fire exit. It was driving me INSANE, sitting incorrectly on the rack. He went up right away and fixed it. He has a great sense of humor. All in all? It was a great experience and i would recommend Rickis for a desert night any day of the week because that apple crisp was divine and of course because of Ben. Thank you!

Service was good, the food not so much. I had the Turkey dinner. The mashed potatoes were a sloppy mess with very little dressing to go with it. Turkey was tender though along with pretty good gravy.

They do one thin consistently - they serve food that fails to live up to expectations. Today it was batter that s too thick on their fish and chips resulting in uncooked dough that s an oily sponge with the fish cool to the touch and a side caesar salad made with limp lettuce and stale soggy croutons topped with an ice cold and chewy parmesan cheese crisp. If people don t say something then management doesn t know and the kitchen cannot do a better job. I don t mind paying good money for good food, but I do expect a meal that s properly prepared and served.

This is our go to restaurant when we are in Airdrie. Several different options for the different taste buds and food allergies and sensitivities. Vegetarian options: Handful of vegetarian options. Plant base burger is good. Parking: Good size parking lot with accessible parking.

Group breakfast. Four of us had good breakfasts, while two of us had eggs Benedict that we had to send back. We thought there were sour but I guess we just didnt care for how they made them. The service was excellent and redeemed themselves with perfect poached egg breakfast

Food was terrible and the service very poor. Had to signal for a server over and over. They never checked with us to see how are food was after they served us. Only time they came back was to bring our bill. Food was not very good, no flavor.

Food is tasty with very large portions. Service was great.

They have not had any hot water in the washrooms to wash your hands for years. Glacier cold water from fall to Spring otherwise just cold. Food and service is good but they need to spend a little money on what is necessary to clean hands properly.

This was my first experience on Saturday Nov19, 2022 and will need to say it was a great one! The four of us had different breakfast options. My Avocado and Chicken Omelette with the pancake substitute was done very well and a pleasure to eat! Our server was attentive, topping up my coffee twice... very relaxed environment for sure! Thank you! On a side note, not likely a restaurant responsibility, but the parking lot was icy and two of us four almost fell prior to entering the restaurant. Perhaps a complaint can be made to those that handle patron safety is in order. If you cannot do that for me, please provide a response with contact info, as all patrons will benefit. Thx

The staff was very nice but food was awful my sweet potato fries were still crunchy and not cooked enough and my boyfriends poutine came out freezing cold was not good quality

The restaurant was very busy, a short wait was required for seating. We got our coffee very promptly once seated. Our order took awhile to be taken, likely due to being short staffed. Our meals came in a reasonable time. Chicken strips were lightly battered and the shrimp were fresh. The hunter schnitzel was tasty and also lightly battered. I didnt care for the cooked cabbage, should have asked for a different side instead. Restaurant was warm and welcoming on a very cold day.

This is the best place in Airdrie I ve been to eating for a decent price. They serve a wonderful selection of breakfast specialties. The food always tastes good and they get it prepared in a decent amount of time. The hours here are good and the staff are very friendly. The restaurant is clean. We had the best breakfast here that we have had in a very long time. Large portion sizes, good ambiance for family outing, it was not overly busy when we were in so wait time for food was decent and it came out hot. Server could have been a little more attentive on our drink refills, That would be my only constructive feed back. Will defiantly be back next time we are in town.

I ordered grilled cheese with cheese only inside of sandwich and not outside crisp cheese. They gave me 2 separate toast with melted cheese on it and it took 30 mins!! We waited 10 to 15 min for waiter to get order and our order took 30 mins. Bad service! not going again.

Have had lunch and dinner here numerous times over 8 years. The owner makes every effort to give quality food and service! He even modified a meal to suit our diet need! Always great food! Has a ambiance of the 70s thru 2010 for background music and decor! They have been around forever and maintain the quality and great staff

Reviewing Ricky s on Yankee Valley Blvd in Airdrie, Alberta. Absolutely terrible. Went in at 2:30 on a Sunday and were one of two or three tables. Took over 45 minutes from when we ordered for food to reach the table (3 adult meals and 2 kids meals). Had to ask to have plates (that were obviously done), cleared. Fish and chips (1 piece)- the fish is so tiny- like an oversized fish stick with a giant serving of fries and coleslaw to fill up the plate. Ordered a burger to go and my husband said it was one of the worst he s had- bacon on it looked raw. What s worse- a bacon cheeseburger and fries cost me $20. Ricky s has the audacity to charge $20 for a bacon cheeseburger. You d think they just opened back up, service and quality should be top notch. They aren t exhausted health care workers. At least put some effort in, Ricky s. This was just embarrassing. I have, however, had great experiences at their Crowfoot location. Maybe it just depends on the owners. Shape up, Airdrie.

Our group of 20 decendes on rickies like a plague on a sunday morning, overwhelming the staff. They managed still to deliver top notch service and a kickass breakfast! The breakfest bowls with holindaize sauce are delicious! Definitely coming here for breakfest again when Im back in ardrie!

Brunch was excellent. The food and service were without reproach. Everything was sanitized and vaccination proof along with ID were closely checked upon entry. Good job everyone. The staff also allowed us to have an extended lunchtime.

First of all their all day grill ends at 4 so no more breakfast at any hour which is why we all go to Rickys. The service was terrible and the food was not even edible. They are also vax pass enthusiasts.

This place has taken a nose dive big time. The food isnt fresh at all and they no longer do all day breakfast. The waitresses have no idea about anything thats on the menu and they get your order wrong. They dont return to bring a bill or clear your plates. The whole restaurant is littered with discrimination signs. Definitely save your money and go elsewhere. UPDATE: Your response was passive aggressive and extremely unprofessional. Shows how you treat customers!! Food there is absolute garbage and so is the service. Literally wouldnt feed your food to my dog. There are many businesses that are fighting for freedom, you just arent one of em!

This place use to be an awsome breakfast spot. Now you need to take out a second mortgage just to afford a meal here. Food quality is lacking big time compared to their competition. Step it up guys!

Rickys I find are hit and miss, this location is definitely a hit. We have been here twice now, and the food is good, the value is great, and the service is the best. Last time we ate at the Keg, our server couldnt even wait till we were done our salad to bring out our entree. Not here! She picked up our appies and said I will bring out your entree, at a Rickis.... We dined on a Sunday, and were the only people in the restraunt. In these times of covid, make sure you get out and support little gems like this so they can afford to stay open!
