Good coffee, good service but unfortunately my 4th visit with bad food. Wont be going anymore.

Great food! Nice and fresh and hot. Tasty. Atmosphere is casual. Would go again. Vegetarian options: Tofu tacos. Summer Berry Salad. Sorso Tamato soup.

If you are looking for a nice place to sit down and relax and have a coffee and an appy then don t come here! If you re at your table for more than half an hour they make you feel like an unwelcome guest and all they want you to do is leave . Neither my wife nor I will ever return. ps - the food was nothing special at all anyway

Met a friend for lunch, it was my first time there. As someone who is admittedly picky, I was happy to find several things on their menu that I would have eaten. It seems that more and more restaurants have more and MORE spicy foods, leaving some of us at a loss, but I cant wait to go there again, so I can try another option, though the Brie was soo yummy!

I had a great time for my birthday supper. We had the cookie dough skillet AND the Nanaimo cheesecake for dessert. Both were amazing!

I used to come here regularly. The current interior makes it feel overcrowded. I went in with my young daughter. I ordered an appetizer; pork belly skewers(i think). The server brought a more expensive item and when I asked, she replied We dont serve that until later. I sat with an empty coffee mug and waited 25 minutes for food I didnt order. The bill was about $40 and neither myself or my daughter ate anything. The server should have said something and actually provided customer service, instead of bringing whatever she felt like. I had been going here since it opened. The quality and service has greatly declined over the past 5 years and this restaurant no longer has the same charm. I didnt mind the higher than average prices before, but now I rather go to a restaurant that cares about their patrons experience and not how much money they might be spending.

Amazing coffee and customer service!

Had lunch here yesterday and the staff were very friendly, service was quick and the food was amazing. The bbq burger was one of the best burgers I have had to date.

So so. Have been couple times and it always just average, specially the service. But today was terrible and definetely not coming back. Place had like 4 tables with ppl and food (3 tacos) took 40 min. Just to arrive a wrong one that I dont eat, shrimps. The waitress was drier than jasper on summer and could care less so I said I wouldnt want another one. Then 15 more min to have the bill. Sure bad things happen but this was a sequential of errors.

My boss and I decided to stop in for some appetizers. The service at first was pleasant but not even halfway through eating the food, the server was takimg our plate away. Hurrying us to get out of there within 20 minutes of us arriving. I dont know if it is how we were dressed as we were in our work clothes or just trying to get the table free for the next customer. Either way, we will never be back. It was bad overall, the food sucked and the service was worse. Will not recommend to anyone ever.

BLT and beef dip are just downright gross, bacon was barely cooked. took over 30 mins to get food. came here to enjoy with my family and left with a headache from crying kids and overpriced bad food.

If I could leave zero stars I would, I came in with my girlfriend and it was honestly the worst service I ve ever had, our servers name was Emily. The food took 45 minutes to come out, it was underseasoned and over cooked giving me the experience of eating silicone. We tried to talk to the manager and she said what do you want me to do about it? . We left very disappointed and will not be coming back

It used to be great to go for a casual meal or enjoy a chat and coffee. It seems like they want now to be an upscale fine dining. It s overpriced for what they are serving.

My son and I decided to try Sorso for a goodbye brunch because he is leaving town. The menu looks good and they have a patio so it seemed like a win. It wasn t. Ignored, lied to about pricing, having to find my own coffee refills not to mention our own table, leaving after waiting an hour for eggs that never came and watching people who arrived after us being served first. I even wanted to make sure I closed out my bill before leaving and ended up being charged $5.20 for a cup of coffee I had to refill on my own and was told cost $4. You knew why we were leaving Sorso. You could have at the very least comped the coffee. I did more work than your own staff after all. We ended up wasting the rest of our time together walking to Tim Hortons for breakfast sandwiches to go Don t even bother people. This place needs new management and much better training

Only issue was service was really slow..but they were short staffed. When the waitress did show it was top notch. Their BLT is to die for! Food

Food is always really good. Cocktails are excellent. Atmosphere is a nice chill vibe. Not much for seating but thats the idea.

This is a great place for food and drinks in Airdrie. Its got a great atmosphere, pet friendly patio. The food has always been good. Our service was great this time. We had the Korean chicken tacos, shrimp tacos and stuffed Yorkies. Everything was really good. The Korean fried chicken tacos had good flavor and a bit of heat. Fresh slaw on top for freshness and crunch. The shrimp tacos were also great. The shrimp wasnt over cooked and rubbery, which can be common with shrimp from restaurants. The sauce was sweet and with the slaw everything complimented everything well. The stuffed Yorkies were good. Not the best Ive ever had but a good one. Beef was tender. The gravy was flavorful, Yorkies had a nice chew. Our server was attentive and pleasant. We sat out on the patio, it wasnt too noisy. Its nice and open. All of the dogs out there were well behaved.

Awesome eats, great service and solid drink menu. Highly recommend for any meal of the day!

Service was terrible. Took a very long time to get any service and no one seemed to know their menu. Hoped the food would make up for it but it did not. Food was flavorless and some items very over cooked. Could see and hear a lot of other customers frustrated with the service.

Every time I have ordered from here they have either missed items or sent the wrong order!!!!! Like how m at times do you guys actually mess up peoples orders !! It s insane that you guys can t get the simple order right ! I wouldn t order from here guys it s the worse!

Service was excellent. Latte was a bit cold but other than that the sandwich I had was delicious. All tables were full so that is a great sign. I would recommend this place when going to airdrie.

Fix your tv system. Went to watch the game elsewhere with 10 people needing dinner.

Table was sticky and we had to wait about 20 mins to order our coffee. Then we were able to order our breakfast. I was so exited about my waffle with chicken a d pouched egg with sauce hollandaise. But I was more then disappointed when it was served 40 mins after we orderd. Waffle was hard,chicken was overfried and was hard to cut with the knife. Pouched egg was not runny. The fruits were good thou. My husband got 1 pounds of dry hashbrowns a lot a bacon,ham and sausages. It looked delicious but it far from enjoyable. The waitress was nice but overwhealmed with maybe 10 people waiting to order or waiting for their food. When our coffee was brought to the table we asked for sugar and spoons and got a plastic stick which goes to the landfill. We got 1 for the 2 of us. Why dont you use spoons? This place isnt a good choice to spend your money. Wont be back.

Not my spot. Used to frequent here quite often. The lady cook in the back is a gem but sorry the service is garbage. Dont know how to make a cocktale, then we get questioned on if we know what we are talking about. Im sorry, im a seasoned drinker and ya damn straight I know what im talking about. My drink was empty after the first one. Boyfriend was at the bar and waitress couldnt be bothered after we questioned our beverage. We wont be back and that probably suits both parties just fine. Not my scene, if ya like it great, need to be better taken care of in my books. My opinion

Cute little restaurant with good food. We go for breakfast often, and sometimes lunch or dinner. Good options for kids too. Could use some activities for kids like colouring options or tiny toy boxes to play with while waiting. Over all one of our favourites. Quality ingredients used here.

Tired of giving this restaurant a chance after numerous visits over the years. The inside is full of a haze of smoke as it appears that the kitchen ventilation is never cleaned nor the fry oil changed, and you leave smelling like such. Reconsidered going when the patio is open to avoid this. The food is decent but the service remains horrendous. Always out of beers, and the selection of beers they do have arrive flat. Had to eventually go up to the counter to ask for our beers that were sitting there. When our main was delivered asked if our appetizer was still on the way, in which it arrived 25 minutes after that, and still had to ask for cutlery. If is issue is staffing shortages, consider hiring more staff. Hesitant to check out their spin off sister restaurant.

Had an early dinner with my wife on a Wednesday. Used to come to Sorso all the time. Food was great, but service had gone down hill. No sense of urgency, servers were enthralled with one of their phones not paying attention. Had to wait 10 min for a drink order then had to wait another 10 minutes while they were in the phone again for food order. Food bell was rung and all the staff are in the corner of the restaurant away from the kitchen not paying attention and in their phones again, so the wait continued again. Seems there is no concept of what good service is. Felt like all staff were there for a hang, and not treating it like a job. Need a some supervision or management attention to get some accountability on the staff and get back to what they used to be.

You can buy 1lb of the coffee beans they serve in-house. Its one of my favourite roasts and I highly recommend! Top place to eat in Airdrie for any time of day.

It was recommended for me to come here and I was not disappointed! I came just before noon so they hadnt flipped over to their lunch menu (which I was super excited to try) but I went for the stuffed french toast off their breakfast menu and its probably the best one Ive ever had. Highly recommend this place, great food and great service.

Soooo slow. The restaurant was 1/3 full. It took 15 minutes to get a drink, then they took our food order. Took 45 minutes to get the food. When we finished eating had to search for someone to bring us a bill. While the food was good, the rest of the experience was dreadful.

Oh my GOSH if I could give a place more than 5 stars, I would!!!!! Absolutely great atmosphere, something I ve never experienced before dark and somber but kind of like a wine cellar. Staff and our waitress was personable and friendly, and gave us her best suggestions. As for the food. Stellar. I have never had such mouth-watering and savoury food. We got appys (bacon wrapped pickles, pork belly skewers, baked brie and churros) and each of them brought a new and unexpected taste. Great all over. This place deserves more attention and business! Come here if you are looking for a great place to eat and vibe!

Great staff and food!

Took 5 minutes for the server to approach the table to take a drink order for the two of us, and 10 minutes to get those drinks. We then ordered food which took 45 minutes. When the food arrived it was very good. There were probably 25 people there, so it wasnt busy. When we were ready to leave, we had to ask the bartender to find our server so we could pay.

First time for me at this restaurant. Management of this facility seems to care less about the customer than one would expect. On mothersday, one might expect that a sufficient number of servers be on hand to deal with the increased volume. We were warned when getting to the table by one of our friends that be ready to put a drink order in when the waitress came around because from my friends previous experience, if waitress came and an order wasnt put in, a chance to order would come much much later. So we were prepared, put drink and food orders in, and explained how we wanted the bill split. Then we waited...and waited...drinks came out about 5 mins before food...without utensils. So we waited...and waited...went to discuss with waitress, and found out that all the utensils were in the dishwasher! So we waited, eventually waitress explained that the utensils were dropped on floor coming out of the dishwasher. Food was now cold, and an attempt to eat by using the spears from our drinks to eat ravioli. Apologies we made, but no compensation, all in all a terrible experience. Was my first and last time at Sorso Lounge.

Go somewhere else. Terrible service. Patio service was non existent with a half full Lounge inside. Several groups outside waited for more than 30 minutes to get a drink, or any kind of acknowledgment. We were all wondering the same thing, where the heck is anyone? None of us were happy. That was 3 tables talking amongst ourselves. We re quite forgiving individuals, but this experience was bad. Drinks weren t coming, food and appies came all at once unfortunately, took forever to get a second drink, reminders of missed items happened, The food was extremely bland in flavor. All in all, it was a disaster. Perhaps didn t help there were 4 people smoking out back at once rather than doing their jobs. Never again.

I consistently have a wonderful experience at Sorso. The food is excellent, and their coffees are definitely top-notch. The atmosphere is inviting, making it the perfect spot for a midday break with great ambiance.

So this review is actually for Sorsos sister restaurant Scoundrels. It is a brand new pizza lounge on the East side. Amazing little place with great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Went for a quick bite and a coffee, and ended up having a glass of wine. Very cozy place and a friendly staff.

I love this place and I would give you a 5 star review except that your decaf machine has been broken down since September when I moved into town and started coming here. My wife cant drink your coffee and its always a disappointment.

We like to come here a lot, the food is really good and usually there isnt too much of a wait. I ordered the mushroom burger with fries and enjoyed it! The portion size was filling and the burger was really tasty.

This is a decent little neighborhood pub with decent food and really good service.

Service was really slow and they seemed annoyed when we asked for anything. They never offered refills on coffee and when we asked for one it took 10 mins.

Bad service and when I asked about drink charges on the bill. Was told they would not show me each drink on the receipt. Would only show me total. Look out my friends.

The food here has really gone downhill. Went for breakfast, and we were very disappointed with our food.

Paid $10 for a croissant sandwich which indicated bacon, lettuce, tomato & avocado. Tomato was one small slice the size of a toonie, 2 small pieces of bacon and no avocado. When informed them I did not receive avocado they asked if I wanted it on the side when I was almost done. I asked for hashbrowns instead because I didn t realize it would be so small (with limited/no indicated ingredients) so she brought me hashbrowns and if it was a complementary gesture I would have been happy but the bill came and they charged $5 for them lol! The severs were just gabbing at the bar eating breakfast themselves, poor service overall.

Place would be a lot better if the office staffth worked remotely or in an office instead of taking up a third of the place. Also, new chorizo breakfast sandwich is far inferior to the old spicy one

The food quality and quantity has gone down drastically. Used to visit this place almost every other week as it was my favourite but feels like it s not worth spending on this place anymore. We changed the table twice and both the tables and seats we were directed to sit had food crumbs all over it. Feels like nobody cares how important these basic things are to make someone s day or to destroy someone s day.

What a fun spot! The service was fantastic and our waitress was wonderful. She recommended a variety of dishes and we decided to try several of them and boy was she spot on! DELICIOUS . The pork belly bao buns were out of this world! This might just become our new local spot close to home!!!

Disappointing. I sent my son and his girlfriend as a thank you, they said it was comedically horrible: sticky tables, stained menus, poor menu choice, churos tasted like porta potties with chocolate dip that was like a brick. Such a shame as I ve eaten here many times myself but seems that it s gone down hill in a big way. We won t be back.

A coworker recommended this place for a late apres work lunch and we loved it! There are so many interesting dishes to try so we will be back. The gyoza appy was delicious! So good we ate before taking a photo so you will have to take our word for it. YUMMY!

Arrived at 12:08 thought they had all day breakfast, but cut off in noon. I was ready to leave, but Ashley the server was so nice allowed me to have breakfast while my husband and son had lunch. She was wonderful, kind and friendly. Had bacon Benedict bacon is made with homemade honey yummm. Had honey latte not sweet enough for me, she brought me extra.. The boys had patty melt so much flavor, and hubby had chicken Florentine soup. Wow great flavor too. Just loved it. Dietary restrictions: Had keto scramble on menu

Went only for dessert. Sat at dirty sticky table. Had to ask server to clean it. Forgot our drinks.Was abrupt with service. Had a long hair in dessert. Really unimpressed.

Our waitress was not attentive to our table sat for 20 mins for another drink and decided to leave was not busy in the restaurant at 3 pm she was to busy on her phone not impressed

It was an amazing first experience for my wife and I. Different and exciting menu...makes me want to come back to eat the rest of the menu items! Great people who work there; wonderful personalities. This is probably my favorite restaurant in Airdrie. I love that they are always switching up the menu, the food has ALWAYS been tasty, and i adore all the flavored drinks I can get from here. Plus the wait staff is always super accommodating and friendly!

Went in for dinner the other day and I sat down for 15 mins before a server threw menus at me. Then I waited over 10 mins before someone even came to ask me for a drink so I walked out because the server was behind the bar on her phone and apparently that was more important than service. Do not recommend

I ve been here for coffee many times with clients and knew I needed to come back and try their food and I was not disappointed. My curry bowl was delicious!! Service was fantastic and I love the atmosphere here. Highly recommend

Went to Sorso for lunch. Drink order was OK. Water glass had lipstick stain - gross! Waitress screwed up our entire food order - Wrap ordered, given a bun, regular beef yorkies given when expressly ordered plant based. She never showed up for almost 10 minutes after receiving our meal to see how things were - explanation for errors I forgot. There is no team or management involvement - would expect a little more care and attention, and at least try to make your experience right. They did not!

Awesome food & drink on the patio this morning, service was a bit on the slow side but location, weather and the food & drink made up for it.

Food is way overpriced for what you get for portions. You cant share the food, there is not enough, and this place brags its a sharing food experience. Then desserts...the churro with netello dip...well the churros were just about burnt. Food in general was lacking in flavor, we had rice bowl and there was no sauce and hard to eat as it was so dry. The second dish we had was the chicken fingers and fries. Well we only had 4 pieces of chicken and fries that were so salty you cant eat them. I only gave them the rating I did because of the staff. They were absolutely delightful. I dont recommend this place except for maybe a social drink.

This is the second time we ate here. What a little gem this place is! We had never heard of it but ended up visiting it after finding it on Google reviews. It is a small venue, very much like a corner pub, a little on the loud side but the thing that makes this place great is the food! Fresh, hot and flavourful. It has an impressive menu and the food is just really good! This time we had the bacon wrapped pickles, pork belly skewers, Philly sandwich, pub burger, chicken peanut satay rice bowl, carbonara and chicken apple brie sandwich and there was not a complaint at the table. Everyone raved about their meals. This place just has good food. Its really worth eating here.

Always love Sorso and its atmosphere, they are always are updating their food and drink menu and keeping the old favorites. Highly recommend if your looking for a nice evening out or a casual gathering! We need more places like Sorso in Airdrie!

Lovely place, only mad I havent gone sooner. Went with a friend yesterday, going back today with my hub. Amazing food and great atmosphere! Madi treated us like gold as always. :) It was a little loud for my liking, (mostly other happy patrons) but thats personal and does not reflect negatively on my overall experience. Dietary restrictions: Lots of dishes with bacon, but they were more than happy to accommodate for allergies!

Burger and house salad was quite tasty. Will hit it up next time Im in town.

FIRST EXPERIENCE: My wife and I went to Sorso for breakfast based on the reviews we had read and heard of Sorso. This was our first visit there so this may have just been an off day. The drip coffee was good... One of the best Ive had in Airdrie so far. The server was friendly and refilled my coffee when close to empty. The food is where things fell short. Both mine and my wifes food had cold spots in it as if it had been taken from a refrigerator and heated in a microwave. The dish it came in looked like cast iron but they were cool so I assume it is just the look. I had the breakfast poutine which tastes good but the gravy was cool as were the peppers. My wife had a steak skillet. The steak was cooked medium well and was tender and tasted good but was cool to the touch. The hollandaise was relatively bland with perhaps a slight hint of a tonic taste. Well be back to give it another shot as this seems unlike Sorso based on other peoples reviews. UPDATE: I had a chance to try this restaurant a second time. I had the Monsieur Batard and it was a great sandwich. The egg was flat and yet still had a soft yolk which added moisture. The meat to cheese to bread ratio was great. The bread didnt get soggy. The breakfast poutine my friend had was steaming it was so hot and had a good amount of hollandaise. Ill be ordering that next time. My wife had the porkception Benny and said it was really good. The coffee was delicious. Ive increased my rating to 4 stars today due to the marked improvement in my experience. If that performance repeats itself again, Ill consider my first experience a fluke and will increase the rating to 5 stars with no hesitation.

Good service, but unfortunately sorso was subpar. Had gyoza that was under done and a poutine that had cold gravy. Server was nice but curt. Really wanted sorso to live up to the reviews!

Food was great. Service was absolutely terrible!! We sat ourselves, took forever for the server to bring menus, take drink and food orders and then bring the bill. The restaurant was not overly busy at the time (early afternoon) and there were plenty of servers to accommodate the number of patrons. Would not recommend based on lack of customer service. Great atmosphere, great food, great coffee. Would go here again. Edit: Went here again and tried a few other food options and they were fantastic. My gf got the bruschetta and I got the Korean fried chicken tacos. Both were delicious. Will definitely recommend this place to others.

The waitress was very helpful and kind. I had their new BBQ burger (the actual name escapes me), which was everything as advertised and more. I wish they used a less processed cheese, but thats a suggestion not a ding. The top of the experience was the cesaer drink. Id never had one, let alone heard of one. Its very good and the way they finish theirs with BBQ gives it a savory wonder. Only ding on atmosphere was the tables were sticky. Not a deal breaker, its probably the wood finish used.

I ve been to Sorso four times and it s always hit or miss, heavy on the miss. They have an expansive menu for alcoholic drinks and awesome local breweries on tap. The food menu is widely varied, with many vegetarian options, Asian and Mexican flavours along with upscale for Airdrie everyday favourites, such as burgers or poutine. The atmosphere is good on the surface, but like the cracked vinyl on the booth seating, is actually much less impressive when you get close up. The service is poor. We were there today (the only ones) and our server was so cold and rarely came by. There were four servers at the time. We ordered the Mac and Cheese as well as Buffalo Chicken poutine. The mac and cheese was dry and only tasted like garlic, no cheese whatsoever. The best part of it was the bread on the side.

Service is great, I ve come here a few times. The food is very good as well. This is the Ground Pounder meal, it s very good. I love the bacon here, it s delicious. I ve come here for dinner as well, their Mushroom Burger is personally my favourite. Their menu had some vegetarian and keto options as well, that s very nice. This place has a bar inside, serves some great drinks. The restaurant itself is quite small and a bit tight. But it s a great spot in Airdrie, I like it here a lot!

Make the trip if its 10 minutes or 3 hours you wont be disappointed!! Everything is fresh, I mean they make it all. The kids were treated like Kings and Queens!! But the food was honestly the gem.

The vibe is great, super cute set up, the menu is so unique (that s what drew me in) and the food was all so amazing ! 10/10 for creativity, a must try if you re in the area! Shout out to our server (Maddy I think) !

I had a date meeting me here. She really likes it. I was coming up from Calgary to meet her. Had not met her before. She was texting me on the way up but Im driving on the QE2. I cant text. I was a bit late, festival traffic. At some point there was a miscommunication and this woman bails on me just as I am pulling in the parking lot. I guess something I wrote made it sound like I was bailing to go to this country music festival ( affecting traffic in Calgary) As if. She says something about me being a prick ,bails and blocks me. No way to explain. Ever. No way to contact her. Never made it into Sorso.

Sara M was such a delight! What a beautiful day to start my morning. The dark roast coffee is phenomenal and my breakfast was delish!

The food and drinks were delicious as always!! And our server Sara was an absolute sweetheart! From the moment we walked in she was such a delight, so attentive and kind. I will definitely go back just because of her service and kindness! She is such a light!! Sorso is a better place because of Sara. Thank you for the beautiful start to my day.

Had the delicious chicken satay Bowl, my friend had tacos and loved them. Also had delicious cocktails. Our server was sweet and new but did a great job.

Sara at Sorso is next level one of the kindest servers who was SO attentive and helpful and overal best energy. If you re there make sure you ask for Sara.. she s the cutest red head who will make your eating experience the best!

I have been to Sorso a number of times and it is always amazing. The food is incredible and all the staff are excellent. If you are looking for great food in Airdrie, you wont be disappointed with Sorso!

I haven t been here for about 3 years. Honestly, the food was decent, the drinks were decent. The attitude of the staffing was horrendous every time we were there. Delayed, rude, non-personable, and made it seem like it was a privilege for the customer to be there. 2 stars for the food and drinks, 0 stars for the staffing. My fiancé asked me about the name of you this evening which prompted me to write this review. It was a terrible environment. I have tried for breakfast, mid day, dinner, and just a coffee. Again, just to re-iterate, if you are looking for a place of professional business where they actually care about customers, I would detour to the nearest Starbucks. They at least pretend to care and Airdrie doesn t have anything else.

Creative cocktails and good desserts

I was just here with my Bestie for lunch this afternoon. The food was delicious! We both shared the Brushetta, I had the Caramel Macchiato Coffee x2 because it was so yummy.. I had the Prosciutto Truffle Onion Daddy sandwich and my bestie had the Steak bites. This was my first visit to this cute and cozy lounge here in Airdrie. I recommend this place for others to visit! Thank you Bestie for lunch!

Awesome servers ( well 2 of them- short staffed) . We had reserved for 11am. Still waiting at 1150 and when it arrived 3 out of the 5 were undercooked. We couldnt wait for them to be brought out again as had an appointment. We had paid before the food arrived as were so short of time. There was no manager - they had to telephone them ( bizarre.....short staffed on probably one of their busiest days- why no Manager?) . Was not impressed, was given a GIft Card for onky $50 for a $140 bill. Not even the cost of the 3 meals. Very disappointing. Once again the servers were lovely and I felt so bad for them. Would have loved to be able to speak to a Manager but was not to be.

Great laid-back atmosphere. Food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. Huge portion of fries! There were half a dozen different things on the menu that I wanted so well definitely be going again.

My teenage sister got spoken to about not tipping (she didn t understand tipping etiquette, even if you re not good financially) by the owner, where he brought up RELIGION. And my sister being a Christian (and not being afraid to tell everyone about it, including the waitress) he used her RELIGION as an argument why didn t you tip her if you re a Christian? I tried to speak with him in a respectful manner, but he refused to let me speak without interrupting, calling me accusatory and argumentative when I honestly was just trying to say that she felt intimidated by him and discriminated with her religion. I m very sad because the staff here don t deserve to lose more customers, but this was such a horrible experience. :(

past 3 times we ve come, undercooked eggs bennys. gave us a gift card that didn t cover the undercooked meals. left a review detailing our understandable frustration, which was met by a rude aggressive response from the owner detailing how we are just stubborn. if you want to not be insulted for liking your food fully cooked, i d avoid this place.

The service and the atmosphere was great but idk if I can say the same thing about the food anymore. I ordered the ravioli first which came out tasting weird. They were nice to take that back at no cost but then we ordered another pasta and it came out watered down.. I felt bad to return that again so I paid for it. I dont think Ill be going back here for food but maybe just drinks and they have good coffee

I live very close and at this time can t drive due to health reasons. I have friends come to Airdrie for a visit and chat and I always recommend Sorso. Hubby and I go there quite often and I have had my girls birthday lunch there. Today I was there meeting with a friend. We both are breast cancer survivors and needed a good coffee and chat. Because we didn t order food and we stayed for a couple hours at 2:30 we were told that our booth was reserved as others were, it was quite empty in there at that time and told we would need to leave. Shocking and disappointing. The other table was not told that. I guess I will have to find a different place when friends come for a visit as I recover.

Recently moved and was told to try this place out. The service was great and the server helped us out right away with our food order that was wrong. Would definitely go back!

The breakfast at sorso was really good, the price I think is not bad for what you get. The teas and coffee are amazing

The food was fantastic, the decor inside was lots of fun and the service was ok. But there isnt signage for what they are so if youre not from Airdrie its tough to know what it is. The only thing other than that would be the food may be very good but its just high priced for small portions in my opinion, I got the pickle soup with was amazing, but it was $4 for about half a cup. I would have given 5/5 if not for the overcharging. Even the options for tips on the machine are 18,20 or 22%.

Great coffee great food friendly service, perfect atmosphere (decor, mood, music) an inspiring independent coffee shop. One of a kind. *No longer just a coffee shop! A great restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner. Great cocktails too.

This place has nose dived in a huge way the food is awful, the coffee always tastes burnt, the staff have major attitude problems and the management is laughable. Save your time and money and go anywhere else! This spot is no longer welcome in such a wonderful town.

Coffee is great, food is good. Service not so great-when you aren t allowed to sit it a booth (when there is 3 open) because they may get busy during a blizzard is ridiculous. Then the next couple walks in and is allowed to sit in the booth? Not sure what they had that I didn t but I am not impressed with their staff not treating all customers the same way. I couldn t imagine being short an having to sit at the tables in the center. I am tall and it could barely eat my meal. Manager delivered our food, very personable. Too bad the servers couldn t match his energy.

Went here on a quiet night & still definitely go again. Theyve got a pretty interesting list of drinks & Id like to try a few more before I give an all out review, but at this time the staff & the drinks I have had where definitely delicious.

Smoked Salmon Benny was delicious! The service was a bit slow. I asked for a water and never got it.

5/5 for our server, she was super polite and friendly. The beef dip was not too good, the dip was too salty and meat not tender. Everything else was much better. The soup was fantastic!!

Just had fancy coffee no food

Ordered the Airdrie wrap and a Mac daddy with a maple latte, had never seen Sorso come up under recommended so I decided to try them out, food was out of this world, stuffed my face for a little over $30 and finished it off with a delicious latte, would recommend trying if you haven t yet and will be returning!

Used to be our favourite place to go in Airdrie but recently the food quality has been declining. Went there for tipsy chimney and the food was really sub par. Cousin Eddie s meatballs were burnt on the outside and dry inside. Beef dip sandwich came without the au jus and was really dry. The Mac and cheese was over baked with very little cheese and very dry. Would expect more when the bill for 5 comes in north of $250. Hope they sort out the kitchen soon.

Have been to Sorso a few times and each time the food is absolutely perfect. The portions are sized well and they taste excellent! Sometimes there is a short wait as they are busy but well worth the extra few minutes.

Tipsy Chimney! I ordered a Christmasatized old fashioned (highly recommended) so damn good. And the mushroom burger hits different, I dont know what sauce and cheese they used, but wow.. Too good. Food : 5/5
