Firehouse Airdrie always tastes better than the others. The attention to detail is obvious. Thank you to Gagan for your care and attention towards our order. So yummy you must try.

SO delicious. First tried them out because of their name promo - where you get a free sub with purchase if you are the name of the day. Have since returned for other promos as well. These subs just HIT THE SPOT. The flavour. Wow. Recently had the Hook and Ladder, was so great. Have also tried the brisket hat trick and the meatball ones. My toddler LOVES their garlic bread. And the pickle is just the perfect compliment. Definitely download their app! They have so many great offers! Pick up was a breeze the last time I went. Great, friendly staff! Quality food! Im supposed to avoid gluten and dairy so I wish there were more options but its great for a little cheat day. Could eat this everyday! Dietary restrictions: Dont think there are many dietary options aside from no bun for gluten and just leaving out the cheese and some of the sauces for dairy.

Pretty disappointing took 55 minutes to even receive the sandwiches just for them both to be the completely wrong sandwich remade incorrectly 3 times back to back I m just glad it was some 50% off deal.. Still WAY over priced for what you get! Shame it was really good when it first opened seems to be slipping in both service and quality 4 thumbs down..

Honestly the best sub I have ever had fresh tasty the bun doesnt get hard its soft the meat its thick on the sub its so good for a chain restaurant You 100% have to give this a try. So much hype, it would have been easy to be disappointed. I wasn t. Had the New York Steamer (pastrami), excellent sammich. Bun was soft, ingredients plentiful. Soft drink machine is amazing.

Subs are good! Too bad the service is terrible. Went in and there was no one else in there ordering they had 5 staff in the kitchen and I still had to wait 15 minutes for my sub. Also what is the point asking if you want a pickle when they don t give them to you this is the third time it s happened when they ask and I say yes. Terrible service!

Awesome food, bread is perfect and had the right amount of freshness and flavour. Layers of meat, awesome sauce, and great service. We were treated to a couple free upgrades without asking, which was very kind of them. My wife is celiac and asked about their gluten free options, and was very impressed with the protocols they have to avoid cross contamination. Yay, another place she can eat at! Amazing subs

If you have not tried Firehouse yet then you should. They are a bit more expensive than a subway but it is worth every penny. The club, hook and ladder and the Italian are my go to subs.

We have ordered take out a few times. The gal on the front desk.is a gem. So polite and sweet. The food is really very good.

These subs are fantastic! We have tried several and they are very tasty with their steam technique. The staff can be hit or miss but they are usually very friendly and its always pretty busy. Its worth ordering ahead and having it ready to grab when you arrive. Our favorite is the Engineer. Grab one of those if you love mushrooms!

I like the subs but Im always frustrated with how difficult it seems to include the pickle spears. Every time Ive ordered an extra pickle spear its never delivered. Now the pickle spear thats supposed to come with every sandwich is being forgotten as well.

Everyone who has served me when I m here has been phenomenal! They have impeccable customer service and are more than willing to provide recommendations for their products. I ve been here a couple times and each time is always a great visit. During my first visit, I wasn t really sure what to order or how to order and the gentleman helping me with super kind and took the time to help. I would really recommend this location

Wish I could show a picture of the sub we had but it didnt last long in my hands. Straight up, the best sub Ive had in decades, if ever!! We tried the brisket hat trick foot long on whole wheat $17.49 it was worth every single delicious bite. The quality was in the taste of the meat. The staff recommended it, nailed it. Great service, fast & friendly too.

The best food in Airdrie.

Ive now been to firehouse several times. The food is always excellently prepared, tastes great. Service is with a smile Ive even asked for suggestions and favorites and they ask your likes and dislikes and lay out appropriate options for those feeling a bit menu-struck. Reading about the origin of the place and the firehouse aesthetic is pretty cool. The area is fairly small so its more geared towards take-out in my opinion as many of the times Ive been there hasnt been much room for seating. If you order from a food delivery service they dont start making your food until your driver arrives at the establishment. This can make their delivery times a bit longer than other but ensures you get the freshest sub, I really appreciate business practices like these that prioritize the customer.

Came here during the week at noon and it already quite busy. Only waited about 10mins for my order. Service was friendly and pretty quick given the time of day. I was looking forward to the Italian sub but was a little disappointed. My main issue was the honey ham...way too sweet. There was supposed to be Genoa salami and pepperoni but I think the ratios were off as I couldnt taste the other meats which would have balanced out the other flavors. Said no to the pickle spear but there was one anyways; which was good because I had to have it to cut the sweetness of the ham. Got my sandwich to go and live 5mins away but it was pretty soggy when I got home. I wanted to love it but maybe it was just the sub I chose. Would give it another try but cant recommend the Italian.

Subs are very good. Maybe a tad pricey but what isnt these days. The meatball was delicious. Tried the meatball with pepperoni one once and paid an extra $5 or something for 2 pieces of meat so skip on that. Food

This is the new sub shop in town, but it s not to be ignored! These must be the best subs in town!! Warm, fresh, saucy!! Just the way I like them! No need to modify or choose your toppings, they are perfect the way they are! Download the firehouse subs app to collect points and there is a free medium in it for you! The restaurant itself is small and leaves a lot to be desired, it s basically a waiting room so don t expect to stop in with the family. It s FAR better to do a pickup order. The staff is friendly and speedy but it can get busy so be ready to wait!

Got my first sub from here. I will say it was delicious. Definitely will be going back. Fresh and the subs are massive. Lots to them.

Subs in general from Firehouse are pretty good. Only gave 4 stars as we ordered the brisket sub and it was overly greasy and that detracted from it.

One of the most disappointing experiences I ve had. The steak and cheese had the same texture as a wet mushroom. The cheese wasn t even melted and the steak wasn t even heated up on a griddle. Took 3 bites and threw it out. I d rather eat subway which is saying a lot

The food was good,the atmosphere was good. My overall experience there was great. The only thing I wasnt happy with was the price. And that you had to pay extra for veggies. Food : 4/5

Ordered an Italian Turkey. There was only turkey. I could have made this at home. No taste what s so ever. Way too expensive for what you can make yourself. Smarten up with flavours.

Meatball sweet and spicy sub is amazing!!

Not a fan. They made my sandwich wrong twice, so I just ate it as is, as they take forever to make. Sandwich was complete my bland and flavourless. Come machine was out of a lot of flavours including coke. Overpriced for what you get and the time it takes to make it.

Had 2 different subs and they checked all the boxes, fresh ingredients, toasty and delicious. Its a bit more expensive then subway and Quiznos but worth the extra few bucks.

Tried calling multiple times to resolve the issues. But now have to resort to leaving a review . Am I wrong that double meat means double meat? I got double turkey breast, one slice of pep and salami on my sub. Was charged almost double for a turkey sandwich

This place has become a regular for myself (and my friends). The favorites here are the Hat Trick, Hook & Ladder, and the Club sandwich. Honestly any of the sandwiches are great though. The chairs are loud as hell however.

Been there a few times now, seems to be following the trend of most other places. Awesome in the beginning then start to roll downhill. 2 at each end of my sub was just bread. Looks like they used a small sub portion on my large sub. Ive been talking you up big time firehouse, and you just totally let me down.

My goodness, where has this place been all my life! That was the best sub I have ever had, and Im no spring chicken. I recently had to go gluten free and lets face it gluten free bread is not that good, but with that sub who knew because it is that good. Hair in our sandwich the service was great and the store appeared very clean, ordered a sanwhich for my nephew and I to share and he literally pulled a long hair that was embedded in his steak and cheese, made us both sick, didn t bother going back to get our money returned as it was out of our way, I can t ever go back as I will always remember it, wish it didn t happen as my first couple bites were amazing. Sorry Firehouse please wear hair nets.

Huge subs. No messing around with the meat and cheese portions. Great flavor. Fresh bread with the perfect texture for a sub. The deli meat subs are not boring at all, but the meatball pepperoni is incredible. The marinara sauce has good flavor and the meats work well together, and a generous portion of provolone. I appreciate the to go containers and the customizable pop machine, too.

Saw this new sub shop open near my house so decided to give it a chance, as I am always looking for new things to try in Airdrie and not really spoiled for choices. Atmosphere was great walking in, with pictures of City of Airdrie Fire crews on the walls. The menu was very well displayed and not only did it tell you the names of the subs, what the ingredients were, but actually showed a picture of what the sub looked like, and this is were the really impressive part was, when the sub was brought out it actually looked like the picture on the menu, which is something very rarely seen at fastfood places. The sub was so good I came back for another one the next night. So to all reading this review, do me and everyone else who have been already a favor, go eat there and tell your friends to do the same so this place never goes out of business. You wont be disappointed.

Interesting new entry from the USA into the Canadian sandwich market. We enjoyed our lunch. Atmosphere only three stars because the ambient temperature was very cold and there was cold air blowing on us.

Dont advertise gluten free options and then not have them available.

They obviously dont want customers to get comfortable. Loud music, cold interior, not enough seating capacity...

I love that Firehouse Subs is now in Western Canada. Every time I go the food is spectacular. The amount of meat that is put on the sandwiches is insane. The topping are fresh and the selection of sandwiches is huge! Subway is definitely going to be losing business, because once you try Firehouse Subs, you will never go back to Subway!

Been looking forward to trying Firehouse forever as they have a Gluten free option! Websites say they use the Scharr buns, which is awesome as its a brand I know. It takes me a while to build up courage to go to newly opened restaurants as they are usually busy and I feel asking for a gluten free sub ( which means they change gloves, typically) can affect the overall experience and hinder a busy operation. Went last week for dinner and asked the very friendly counter staff member about the GF buns. She stated they dont have the buns but could call us when they do come in. So Disappointed!!! I was sure looking forward to the hype of Firehouse subs. Maybe I will try again in a few months but for now I will stick to the other Sub chain.

Well I am not a person who likes subs. But this place was actually very good I could see myself going here multiple times. And it has a really cool pop machine. So many different flavors.

Stumbled upon this sub shop last night a half hour before closing. The ENTIRE staff were friendly and extremely welcoming. They worked as a TEAM! Service exceptional. Atmosphere very cozy and clean. Ordered the clubhouse (Ill double check the name later) and it tasted incredible! The size of the reg sub is very filling! Cant wait to go again and try something new! Highly recommended!

Subs were ok, paid close to $60 for 2 medium and 1 large sub combos. Seems expensive but the subs were hot and fresh. Nice new and clean inside

We definitely needed this place in airdrie. The subs are amazing and by far better than the competition. We will be eating here for all of our subs.

The only reason I didnt give this review a 0 was because the food was good. The customer service was that bad though. I am not a picky customer. I dont have super high expectations. So what I experienced tonight was unacceptable. I ordered an online order for 8:25 pickup. I get to the store at 8:32 so I expect the order would be ready if not close to it. I walk in and let the girl at the counter know that I placed an online order. She told me my order would be right up. I waited for 16 minutes and watched people walk into the store and 3 orderes were completed before mine, or so I thought. I decided to ask the lady who I have the info to about my order (which I shouldnt have she should of have the awareness to ask her associates about the status) and she realizes that ALL LONG my order was sitting ready to go since guess when? 8:25! You dont offer me a refund? A complimentary bag or chips or cookie? Nothing? I am extremely disappointed and I hope this happens to no customer moving forward.

Second time going into the store and placing my order, and not receiving whats ordered. Ordered smoked turkey and roast beef for take out, got home and no roast beef in the sub.

Best sub I ever had. Unfortunately the service is horrible and they are very slow. If the girls did less talking and made their job top priority it would be awesome. Maybe one day I will go back but not now. Just to slow for me.

Highly highly recommend Firehouse subs! I got the Italian sub, added banana peppers. I also don t like melted cheese or steamed deli meat so I only got the bread toasted. I ordered the large thinking it would be similar to a subway footlong. I was completely wrong (it was 100cx better) and I was pleasantly surprised at how big this sub was. They put so much meat and toppings on it. It was tasty and fresh. These are the best fast food chain subs I ve ever had. I ll definitely be back.

First impressions are everything, the girl who took our was so overwhelmed she messed up both our orders. My sub was ready almost 10 minutes before my wives order which were ordered at the same time. Other staff seemed really nice but not enough to try this place again. my wife enjoyes her sub even tho she was missing bacon on her sub. My sub was so disappointing. I dont imagine this place will survive very long. .

So this was my first time at Firehouse, Im not sure how long this new location has been open, but its really new. I understand open ceiling is a design choice and Im not against it, but the HVAC system has a hum to it that just buzzes the whole place. The music was not loud, just at the same level as the HVAC, so you couldnt enjoy that either. The lady who took my order, couldnt hear my name correctly, even though I have a fairly projectable voice. So my order finally gets called, or something close, it was what I ordered, so thats all that matters. The food was ok, Im not super excited, but Im glad I didnt have to make too many decisions, so thats a plus for me. I had the meatball, turkey swiss, steak and cheese, it was all pretty good, Ill be back to try more.

Perfectly ok sub. But not for almost $20. Honestly Quiznos was better, or you can spend a little less getting a Shwarma at Pita Basket and get way more value for your dollar while supporting a local business over a chain. I expect chains to be able to offer higher value than this.

We were recommended this place from a friend. When we came in we were greeted by the friendliest lady who took the time to share her faves, since this was our first time here, we needed the advice! She was upbeat and so sweet during our interaction and you could tell wanted to be there. She treated us like we were long time friends. The food is delicious. The bread fresh and so tasty, if I was to wager a guess the bread is made in house. (Can t confirm as I didn t ask) this will be a spot we will become regulars at. The food is super filling, flavourful and portions were generous. I got a medium pepperoni meatball sub and it was delicious. My partner got the steak and cheese and it was an immediate hit upon first bite. When he finished he said I can t wait to go back and try the hook and ladder Can t recommend this place enough. Well. Theres three of us that went there and I really did not like someone shouting at me when I came in and continue to shout to every other customer who entered even while taking orders at the till . I know it s supposed to be fun but I don t like that. We were excited as many people from Airdrie and area are when something new opens! Bought one med meal and one large meal came to $45. And our friends was just over $20 for his individual meal. Wait time was about 10 mins. And the seating was very squishy . Now after eating the subs my husband had stomach issues and had to go to the washroom multiple times and I felt like throwing up! Almost didn t make it to a washroom in our travels! and our friend bought his meal same day and he too got sick. All three of us within 15-30 mins of eating there got sick . Sooo. Sorry to say but we will not be going back or recommend Firehouse subs Airdrie

Best subs I ve ever had. Me my wife and 3 young children ate dinner here. Spent less than $50. Awesome food. I ll be going back for sure

I ordered a turkey provolone sub on white and ended up getting it on brown bread and then the way they cut. It was kind of weird. They definitely don t have enough space inside to accommodate the flow of traffic they get coming in other than that the food was delicious.

Brought my family for dinner on Sunday evening. Will definitely come back. Drove from Calgary just to try out Firehouse Subs and I m so impressed. 3 adults and a child and we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Hat trick, meatball sub and the turkey bacon and ranch were all delicious! Can t wait to go back. The kids meals come with a fire hat which kept a smile on his face all night.

First time at the Airdrie location and probably my last. The space is way too small to accommodate the customer base, and the slogan they scream out when every customer walks through the door gets pretty annoying after the 60th time in a row, especially when youve been waiting for your meals for over 30 minutes. But whoever that guy was running the kitchen with the blue shirt and beard, give that guy a raise because that entire place would sink without him. I found it a little crazy when one of the provinces EMS staff came in with an ambulance parked outside and they were waiting 35 minutes for their order also, I wouldve pushed that order to the front of the line and got them out of there as quick as possible, but thats just me. Food was excellent though, but not good enough to ever wait those times again.
