Really poor service booked a table for 19:00 had been there since 18:45 told to sit at the bar and wait. A party of 3 came in after us at 19:00 and was taken before us. Felt they were putting money before service it seemed to be how can we get more bums in chairs rush rush rush to get to the bigger party s as they were of higher value to them. Will never give them the opportunity of my custom again terrible service avoid at all cost.

We visited Alba for a Family lunch and it was much worth it from start to finish our experience was 10/10 , We will definitely be back!! Highly recommended to meat or non meat lovers!

Food is ok, but very over rated, youre paying for the city centre/ London prices, me and Mrs got two drinks each, main and dessert which totaled to just over £80 absolutely ridiculous, we werent just the only people who nearly fell off our chairs when we seen the bill, we understand there is staff to be paid and overheads etc but common, miller & carter isnt even this expensive

i love the kid he is so handsome i was talking with him and he is so polite and staff is really helpful and the chefs look so cool cooking the food there was two kid on saturday they are really hard workers the food was amazing to i had a t bone and it was amazing even the fries are amazing with toppings and the t bone and the taste of heaven ally family liked it as well my kids got a steak to but there picky eater so they did not even try it but i got them some pasta they liked it so much i love they way they do every thing the decor is amazing it s like a forest and we where at the window such a clear view and i had really fun

Everything was amazing. Food, drinks and staff. Definitely, worth a visit. Dont go out often. But will be back in future for more! Quality and pretty much good portions of food given.

We had the best steak ever. All food served was absolutely delicious from start to finish. Great atmosphere and just right service. Will definitely be coming again.

One of our meals the chicken was undercooked. It was really slimy and couldnt be eaten. We politely told the waiter(maybe owner) he argued that the chicken was fine. He never offered a replacement and we were charged for the meal. It was left untouched. Customers beside us agreed chicken was disgusting. When leaving he turned his back on us. Wont be back

Never usually leave reviews but I had Father s Day dinner here tonight for 8 people (5 adults 3 kids) every single person loved their meal. Steaks were amazing ! I ve ate steak in resuatsrnta all over the world and I m not joking this was one of my favourites. Staff so lovely too

5 of us went for my sons 10th birthday dinner food and service was good until I asked for my sons birthday cake brought the cake and sung happy birthday but didnt offer us any plates cutlery to cut it or eat any of it. My son clearly wanted to eat a piece of his cake and the waiter face just said it all obviously didnt want to offer this as we didnt order desserts however we spent nearly £200 so think is the least they could have done wont be back for a birthday dinner ever again been plenty restaurants in past that dont mind doing this shows only interested in money not service

Went for lunch and we both ordered burgers. The buns were soggy and basic, not your typical burger bun youd expect when paying £15. The chips were clearly cooked from frozen as were the onion rings, was like something from farmfoods. Coleslaw was also premade not fresh. I wouldnt mind but when they charge the price they do youd think they could make simple things from scratch. Very overpriced and the staff seemed to care more about getting money off us that making sure we were enjoying our meals. The only thing I liked about the place was the decor. Definitely wont be back unless they improve the food quality or bring their prices down. Mcdonalds do better food! Parking: Theres no parking unless you dont mind parking on the main road by the takeaways round the corner

Visited here on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch and we were both delighted with our whole experience, food was very nice and well priced, staff were both helpful and friendly and we shall certainly be going back . Well done to all staff front and kitchen. Food

First time trying today steak was amazing cooked too perfection

Massively over priced, ordered peri peri chicken wings for the starter, very tough and overcooked and no peri peri flavour, just plain chicken wings, and only 3 very small wings, mostly bone and hardly any chicken. sirloin steak and chips for the main, asked for a medium rare, but when I got it and cut into it, it was very, very rare, and not seasoned, had to send it back, my daughter ordered the kids burger and chips but couldnt eat the burger because it was over seasoned with pepper and not very pleasant to eat, especially for a child. waitress was very arrogant, couldnt smile and looked like she wasnt happy to be there and clearly couldnt be pleasant to customers, she took my daughters order for dessert and forgot about it, I tried to get her attention but she was more interested in her mobile phone behind the bar, and eating bars of chocolate, with her back turned. I eventually got the waiters attention after about 15mins and he asked her about my daughters dessert and she was very unhappy about the waiter reminding her about my order, and stormed off into the kitchen. Not a nice lunch experience and definitely will NOT be back, £50 waisted, dont waste your money folks.

Lovely place inside, great relaxed staff. Steak is amazing best Ive had in a while, lamb chops also fab. Burgers top the list too. Only thing I could say negatively is that on busy nights Id say service is a bit too slow but overall 5 stars Dietary restrictions: gluten free options available. Nice food and friendly staff.I had muscles and then fish and chips.My partner had mushrooms and then cheesy burger. We both enjoyed our meals and we will be back to try again for sure. One very small thing and it is very small,ditch the salad with the fish and chips and add peas instead.

Very good steaks but the drinks are a bit weak, nice atmosphere but you feel pressured by the staff who keep coming and asking if you want something else.

When in a 6 order was taken about 10 mins after seated then 30 min later order came out wrong then took an other 30 min for them to fix it after an hour we got food and was ok not realy worth the money realy

Ordered two different cocktails but got served two of the same cocktail, had to send mine back. The cocktail my partner had the raspberry daiquiri tasted burnt and so sour he couldn t drink it. Asked the girl if I could change the chips for my steak to the Parmesan Cajun chips she said it was no problem. Got served my steak and chips with an extra portion of Parmesan and Cajun fries. Had to send them back. Asked for our steaks to be medium but they came more well done. The vegetables on my plate were stone cold but my partners were hot. Also asked for two peppercorn sauces and only got one, then tried to charge us for the two on the bill, so had to ask for that to be changed as well. Steak was nice however and starters were nice as well. The waitresses are all lovely. Maybe a problem with the chefs not reading the orders properly? Not too sure. For the price you pay , which is quite expensive, I expected no issues but ran into too many. Wouldn t bother if the place wasn t so expensive. Don t think I would be back in a hurry

Booked a table for my son and i, Arrived on time to be seated and told to wait till our table was ready . We were sat for 30/40 min while other diners that had came in after my son and i (with no reservation) had been seated before us . Terrible to say the least!! Never got to try the food and had to take my son to KFC at 8.15pm for dinner . Parking: Only a few spaces available you will need to park on the main road

1st time trying Alba bar & grill, service was great, friendly staff, amazing food, we got steaks, the portions are great, well worth the money, very minor thing was the tables for 2 are very close together and not very private, and not enough room for people moving around, booth would have been ideal as we had a couple of sides and drinks, and not much space on the table, but other than that, excellent 1st experience and will definitely be back

Honestly don t know what the fuss is about this restaurant. First time I went they got starters and mains wrong. The restaurant was quiet too! Food was just OK. I decided to try again but once again, they got my mains wrong. The food was just OK again. I will not return.
