Stopped for a soup while passing the town, it looks small from outside, but inside is quite spacious. When we came there were quite a few people and appeared very cozy. Ordered soups yhere and they were quite tasty, i was happy. Service was good, food was flavourful and price does not break the bank.

Wow! Well worth the drive from Didsbury. Seems everyone is discovering our secret - the best place for Vietnamese food in Alberta! Vegetarian options: All veggie if you want. Dietary restrictions: This is where we take our friends with special diets. Parking: Parking isnt a problem even during lunch. Kid-friendliness: High chairs, clean bathrooms and a willingness to accommodate our Grandkids. Wheelchair accessibility: Good access and parking for those like me who are less able.

Great Pho

*FOOD POISONING* My family and I have been visiting and ordering takeout from this restaurant for a long time and it s rarely disappointed. Until Wednesday night, where we had ordered the sate beef noodle soups and a dish of spring rolls. About 30-40 minutes later we were all getting sick. It is now Friday and we are feeling slightly better, but we will no longer be eating from here.

Its Pho Good!

We ve been looking for good Vietnamese food since we moved to Airdrie. This was our least favourite restaurant so far. The food was fresh, but the dishes were primarily made of noodles. I m baffled how this restaurant has any good reviews. We ordered a variety of dishes. We started with vegetable salad rolls. We received 3 tiny rolls that were rice noodles wrapped in rice wrappers. I couldn t find any bean sprouts, carrots, or cucumbers in them, and they had very little lettuce. They were vegetable rolls, so I expected them to have some vegetables, but they only had flavourless rice noodles with a tiny bit of lettuce, and no meat. My husband ordered wonton and egg noodle soup. He added 4 wontons for $2.75, and he added barbecue pork for $3.00 (the soup only came with 4 small pieces of undercooked pork for the $3.00). It was a large bowl of watery broth with some egg noodles, 6 wontons in total (so it only came with 2 wontons and he paid for 4 more). There were a few fresh vegetables, but it was mostly watery broth, with some egg noodles. Wonton soup should have wontons in it, without having to pay extra for them. He was expecting a hearty soup, because he paid extra for wontons and barbecue pork, but he mostly had watery broth with some noodles. I ordered charbroiled beef and spring roll vermicelli. The spring rolls were nice - the best part of our meals, but it was mostly noodles with no flavour. There were no bean sprouts, no carrots, and only a tiny bit of lettuce. The charbroiled beef tasted like it was boiled. It was flavourless. I ve never had vermicelli that was primarily noodles. I ve never had it without carrots or bean sprouts. The meat was bland, and the N c ch m sauce tasted like water with a tiny bit of sugar in it. I couldn t taste any fish sauce.

Very long time family owned business in Airdrie. Wonderful people, great food and popular in town.

***BE ADVISED*** Not impressed with all the hype of this restaurant. We came in and ordered a grilled chicken dish but it was boiled. I complained and said that it was not the same as the menu picture and there was zero seasoning. You do not have to be a chef to know the difference. The owner was rude and after much discussion, we got up and left but she made us pay for the food we did not order. Her money was more important to her than providing the customer a good dining experience. Never again, there are plenty of other restaurants that offer much better service and true to the menu food quality.

I really appreciate how astoundingly clean the restaurant is (Something that is actually rare these days). It shows that the owners care about what they do. The quality of the food is really good and fresh too. Simple, but the quality lends itself to the taste. We came at a busy time, food was still fast, and service excellent. Will be returning.

WOW! This place was SO good! After living in the lower mainland (BC) and trying many places, this soup is by far one of the best weve had anywhere! The broth was so flavourful, everything was fresh, good portions and price. My extremely picky 7 year old was a huge fan, even liked their salad rolls (woah)! We live in Calgary now and will gladly make the drive out to Airdrie to make this our regular spot.

Very good submarine sandwiches. Very good Sate beef Pho soup! Best prices in Airdrie that I have encountered. Service was very quick & polite. The interior is exactly the style of a classic Canadian Pho spot. I could tell it was going to be good as soon as I entered the building. I recommend a visit if you have not been here!

Moved away from Airdrie awhile ago, but always try and stop in when we pass by. Very yummy

Ive never had the pleasure of dining in but their soup has never once disappointed. My wife and I request the soup be extra spicy. We tried multiple establishments and this one is the best by a long shot. We order from them religiously!

Average vietnamese food. There are other vietnamese places in Airdrie i d rather go to but I wouldn t be upset if I dined here. The portion sizes for the vermicelli could he worked on

Always a great reception when you go, the food tastes as good it looks. Comes out well displayed, hot and fresh. You know its a good place when you hadnt been in a while and go back and it is the same people working there and the food is just as good as you remember. I would go there now except I have eaten already, but that shouldnt stop you! Go there. You wont be sorry.

Very dissapointed. No Hello, No Good Bye, No please and No thank you are spoken Here. The old Lady is friendly to regular customers but If you are a new one you dont feel welcomed. We travel since 3 months through Canada and this was the first time we gave no tip because of the rude and respectless behavior.

Wow. I ve been sooooo hesitant to order wonton soup for years because I had a couple bad experiences. But I m now 3 months pregnant and my oldest child is sick; so I decided to go with my body s craving and I was not disappointed!!!! This wonton soup is the best I ve had in YEARS. And my daughter was thrilled with her broth, noodles and spring roll.

food was great. but service from the front server was very very poor. the old lady at the front. She only treat good if the customer is canadiane but if other raise she not even greet them and not even entertain them as customer. lots of people are complaining about her. just treat equally coz people are buying and paying. This is not the first time we see her like that attitude.

I went with a girl friend as it is her favorite for Pho. I was impressed how busy they were, and how attentive they were with all the patrons. Great service, very clean, and smiles for everyone. Parking: As it is located in a strip mall next to a closed motel, there is more than enough parking.

A very bare bones atmosphere and medicore service, but the food is delicious and priced very well.

Portion size is an actual joke given the price this shouldn t even qualify as an appetizer blatant rip-off

Horrible experience!! Ordered a CHARBROILED CHICKEN and got cold boiled chicken chopped into small pieces with a strange fish sauce. Disgusting! Complained that the order was incorrect as the menu item described it as charbroiled. Argued with the owner for 15 minutes over what the difference between charbroiled and boiled is. We turned down a replacement meal as we would have to wait another 20 minutes and they still charged us for a meal we did not order. So, when you order from the menu, you have a very high chance that you will not get what the photo looks like (small chopped up beef balls as opposed to what the photos look like) and when the menu description is. MANY other high quality restaurants around you can dine in without having an argument in front of other customers. Embarrassing to say the least. Never will return.

Good soup , awful customer service, I came here to eat alone, and lady barely even say hello, and I was pretty nice, looked like she didn t want me there lol, then of course 2 white man get in to eat something and she is all smiles how are you what do you want to drink and she wouldn t even offer water to me she was pretty mean, if you are not white don t bother coming over to this racist bit$h.

Walked today March 15 it said wait to be seated. Was totally ignored walked up was asked immediately are you picking up. I said I would like dine in. Sat after sometime I was asked if I was ready to order. Still thinking to my self why am I even thinking of spending my money here. Told this very rude lady still deciding. Shortly after a couple walk in she immediately acknowledged them took them to a table offered water and tea. It was then I realized I was not even served a glass of water. I walked out very quietly and said you have a choice. On the bright side I trek down to Rice for King and got amazing services. Funny enough I usually come here and now will be one of my 1st choice.

Not worth the price. Soup was not hot and service is lacking. Ordered a large soup and spring roll for $30+. definitely not with the price.

Hmm. Too bad. The broth was good for the satay peanut soup, but the noodles were extremely over cooked and soggy. The service was not great, actually really terrible. Not friendly or polite and didn t even say two words to me. Too bad, I had high hopes because of the other reviews I read. If you re a single white female, wanting to dine by yourself, I would avoid going here I don t think she likes our kind .

Pho East Lake is definitely one of the better Vietnamese Restaurants in Airdrie. Parking is easy and you can call ahead to order and its usually ready for pick up in under 15 minutes.

Not impressed one bit! Food was bland, chicken was cold and not grilled as per menu description. Could not get through to the owner that what I ordered from the menu was not the same on my plate. Very rude and argumentative. I basically walked out hungry and found a better restaurant.

We stopped in for vermicelli bowls and salad rolls. Mixed the rainbow bowl up here - decent amount of meat, very flavourful and no gristle. But hardly any vegetables and fairly small portions compared to other spots. Salad rolls were quite small too. Takeout was hopping, so we didn t get offered any more water. It was overall good.

Walked in on a not busy Saturday night for them. Asked if they had a take out menu. The unpleasant woman working threw a menu at me. Should have left. Can t comment on the food. Didn t eat if, bought it for someone else. Would not go back. This very unpleasant woman was, rude and nasty.

Since discovering this gem a few months ago I have visited several times for Pho. The soup is always delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back again!

Awful service. Came in waited to be seated like the the sign said, a larger party of 7 came after me and the server straight up ignored me and seated them first. Does a larger party mean higher priority? Should individual customers not be valued?

Terrible service. CHECK YOU BILL. We were over charged and when asked for refund she threw the money on the table. She basically was upset for being caught cheating. She crossed all limits with her ego. FIRED FOR LIFE.

Delicious dumplings, the spicy subs have zing but it doesnt take away from how tasty they are and the Pho is lights out. I will be back for sure.

Hands down my favourite casual restaurant in Airdrie and Calgary area. It is truly a hidden little gem. Located in a strip mall, the atmosphere is casual but nice and the staff are wonderful. Today I had the grilled pork and prawn on rice vermicelli with spring rolls. The portions are generous and the flavours are bang on. Authentic and VERY flavourful. I ve been to other Vietnamese restaurants in both Calgary and Airdrie and this restaurants food is by far the best. You can find more formal atmosphere but not better food.
