Had my cousin pick up. (So i cant comment on service and atmosphere)Got beef stew and rice and curry chicken and rice. Beef was tender and good however bearly any gravy on both. Chicken was also dry. Ask for spice on my doubles still waiting on spice to hit
Didn’t know this place existed until one day recently when I noticed it as I was leaving the plaza. Apparently this place has been around for 30 years. The interior was dark and depressing. There was absolutely no one in there when I went it, right at the height of the lunch hour. The food was bland. The curry chicken had no spice and the curry was watered down. Mind you, the size of roti was large, however for the price I paid for it, it was not worth it. The service was basically non existent. For being the only people in the place, no one came to ask how the food was nor did they ask if we wanted anything else. The menus are so out dated, the prices are incorrect and a number of items are no longer available for order. 2 separate entrances is kind of weird. One entrance leads to the dining area and the other entrance is for where you go pay. Essentially, you have to leave the dining area and enter another side to pay. Never seen that type of setup before. Overall, I cannot see myself going back there, mainly because you can get much better tasting food elsewhere for the same price.
This is by far the best Caribbean food you will find in the GTA. I grew up on Trini food and the roti here is spot on authentic. The staff is amazing, friendly and the atmosphere is clean and good Caribbean music in the background. I’d highly recommend this place
I was craving Jamaican food and decided to stop at Rotilicious. I ordered Jerk Chicken with rice and peas, a side order of fried plantain and of course Ting!! The portions are large and my meal was very "temperature" hot when it was served. The best Jerk I have had in quite a while. I will certainly be visiting Rotilicious again when I am return to Ajax!!
Ordered takeout from Rotilicious for some doubles and boneless chicken roti. The doubles were delicious and chana was well cooked. The boneless chicken Roti was decent. Maybe because did not order the spicy variant. Overall decent pricing.

Terrible!! They messed up the order. Gave me rice and chicken when I ordered a Roti! Then when I tried to eat the wrong dish , it tasted awful. Don t go here. They suck.

Love this place drive a hour from omemee to eat here feeling very sad for them because now they are near a site that helps the homeless get drug . They are not nice when you say no to them.

Really bad. We ordered take out and the beef had a weird chemical taste. The noodles were really oily and had no flavour, and we ordered potato balls that had barely any potato in it. The dough tasted like stale old bread. Food : 1/5

Amazing roti s from this place !! My dad and his colleagues used to come every single Friday for about 10-12 years before retiring, and the consistency in taste and service hasn t changed since. Now he has me hooked and we get to enjoy this meal often on father-daughter lunch dates ! Vegetarian options: The potato and chickpea roti is yummy
Chickens curry roti only had 4 piece of meat and the buss up shot roti skins bought separate was not cook and was not buss up shot. The best thing that came from them was the red solo and apple j drinks.

If you are here to dine in, you will be disappointed. Can t even review the food because we left without eating since no one came to serve for the first 15 mins. The restaurant is dark and dingy.

The best roti. I will drive an hour to eat here no problem. Everytime i have a dr appointment, this is where i must come after to improve my mood. The jerk chicken peas and rice is absolutely amazing. Good atmosphere and my go to for West Indian food.
The place is quaint and the workers are polite and personable. The food was ok. It wasnt stellar. The curry was bland tasting and needed some salt. It has potential, but the base needs a heavier hand in seasoning.

After having a family event with over 100 people, we can attest that the food, staff members, and overall environment were phenomenal. The services were also provided in a prompt and friendly manner, allowing us all to have a great experience. I always enjoy boneless roti but I have to tell you I got my regular today boneless chicken dalpourri roti very disappointing. Roti was a reheated roti not fresh. Boneless chicken was sparse and not tasty as usual.

This is the best Roti I ve had in years!! Perhaps the best I ve ever had! Service was super friendly and the atmosphere has a cool vibe while the prices appear to be unaltered by this inflationary period. I ll be returning very soon with friends! I can t wait!!! Had lunch here for the first time- chicken roti lunch special and my friend had the beef roti with jerk chicken appetizer- everything was delicious, super flavourful and the restaurants recommendations on food were great. Be careful if you can t handle spice because they don t play around, but the flavours are excellent and you can t beat the prices! Will be back!
I come here for the wings, and all I say is WOW, chicho is the master of seasoning. the jerk flavour you get here you will never find else where and I have personally been to 30 wing spots around the GTA. you like spice and culture this is the go to spot !

Dining in here is much better than taking out! Deliciously tender goat roti and perfect amount of gravy when dining in, but the takeout roti is pretty dry with almost no gravy. Ill know better to make a special request next time. Regardless, the staff is super nice and Ill definitely be back! Food
I hate leaving bad reviews to local businesses but that was honestly so disappointing. Probably the worst roti I ve ever had. We got the curry goat & boneless chicken both were bland and the roti itself was suuuuper dry and tasted stale terrible texture. We only tried here instead of drupatis because they have coleslaw and that was even worse. Overwhelming with the vinegar taste, tasted chemically. Next time definitely just sticking with drupatis

Great food, atmosphere, friendly staff everything you need in one place. Well designed and recommended for everyone to try. Serves alcohol as well and lots of parking. They do catering and can host a private event if needed.
We now live out of town specifically four hours out of town. When we are able, we make a pilgrimage. I started going there 20 years ago, and to date it is the best roti I ve ever had.
Absolutely lovely owner took my takeout order today. Very friendly and chatty. Boneless Curry chicken roti was delicious with the chicken being super tender. Would definitely go again. The steps into the restaurant are loose so please watch as you walk up them. Not wheelchair accessible. Parking: Plenty of free parking available.

Amazing food, warm and friendly staff. I no longer live nearby, but, I am happy to say it is worth the drive. Great hot pepper sauce, so much flavour with the heat. The Roti, potato balls, and doubles are my go to items.
Ordered the boneless chicken roti and doubles. The roti was tasty and fresh. The doubles were good as well, but could have used more filling. Medium spice was more like mild spice, so go with the higher spice levels if thats what you like.

Ordered the Jerk chicken and rice with doubles. For my first time there I wasnt impressed, mainly because the chicken was old it had that taste that chicken gets when it sits in the fridge for a day or two after being cooked. Will try it again and hopefully update this review
Been searching for a good chicken roti for years. Grateful to have found Nalini and the team. It s worth the drive from Ottawa! Everything is made fresh daily. Definitely give it a try.

I had curry chicken with Dhal puri, It was good but needed a little more flavor that you would expect from West Indian cuisine. Will definitely go back again.

Probably my favourite roti spots in the GTA. Get the boneless curry chicken spicy or goat roti. It taste homemade and I enjoy everytime.
For those who are familiar with West Indian cuisine will know the difference between authentic tasty food. Rotilicious food taste terrible. From their rotis to the doubles which looks like fry bake and there pholourie which look burned! . My husband ordered paratha roti and they made him wait 30 minutes. When he got home he realized they gave him dhal puri instead. When he called they were unprofessional and never offered him to correct the order. I dont know how its possible they are still in business.

They just cancel your order with items out of stock most of the time. But this time they didnt cancel, so I left home to pick up my order (ordered through an app). Then they cancelled at the last moment, with zero explanation, just as I was about to reach the restaurant. I had to turn back and go all the way. Then I had to order somewhere else and the whole process to get my food took an hour.
Very satisfying curry chicken (bone-in)! The curry potatoe is too soft and is more like potatoe purée, but its still very flavourful!!
This is one of the ONLY roti shops that havent altered thier food! The curry pumkin is amazing, the curry chicken has thick curry and everything has a lot of flavour!

Ive eaten here for years, ever since I was a kid. I live out of town (2-3 hours) and I make it my personal mission to get here any time I can. The food is immaculate. Highly recommend the curried goat rice and peas as well as the pholourie. The service is also super friendly and fast.

Portion was smaller than I thought and there was too much roti for the amount of goat curry. Seems like it was 70% roti and 30% curry. Flavour was decent but Ive definitely had better rotis especially in Ajax.

I went in during lunch hour and ordered from the lunch menu. I was charged $12 bucks for a beef roti. The $$ didn t add up. If I didn t ask for a pop I wouldn t be given one. I felt like it was charged randomly.

Had take out, 3 beef patties and a beef roti. Not impressed at all, beef patties where bone dry, even the meat was rock hard, cant believe these were sold. Threw the beef patties out! Beef roti was good but honestly I feel as though they chepaed out on the filling. Ate it and still hungry. I called back on the patties and they offered to replace, but not a place I want to visit again.

We have tried several items here, from the roti wraps to the rice dishes. The jerk chicken has great flavour, but even with me being Mexican I cannot handle the spice level. Now when we order we ask for everything no spice. The roti wraps are really tasty, the beef, the goat and the chicken. The Rice and Peas also hits the spot. I would say the one dish I didn t enjoy so far was the oxtail, the consistency and texture is odd, a bit too starchy.
As a first time customer today, I must say this is simply the best roti in the area!! Had a curry goat roti and Im still licking my lips. Dhalpurrie was light while the goat meat was numerous and tender. I ordered an additional 10 roti skins to go. I will definitely be back soon.

First time trying Rotilicious last night! (January 14,2021). Ordered the jerk chicken roti, veggie samosas, and doubles. I am not a fan of bone in chicken but this jerk chicken roti was out of this world! Very nicely packaged and hot and fresh when I got it home. It was not soggy at all. An excellent amount of spice and a very good amount of tender chicken. I ate the whole thing in one sitting! The samosas were perfectly fried and tasted amazing with the extra chutney the owner gave us. Would absolutely recommend for taste, portion size, and amazing prices!! Will be going back very soon :) best roti in Durham I ve found so far.

I really like the goat roti from here, meat is tender and dhalpuri is soft and delicious. Only problem Ive had is sometimes the meat isnt enough. Priced fairly. I will recommend the goat roti.
Worst roti Ive ever had First of all I asked for medium pepper on all items.. None of the sorts was added. Worse even, the roti was still wet(uncooked.) I called back to advise nothing was offered as a solution. Very disappointed after spending nearly $50 dollars. Even the doubles had nothing added to them.. Besides, who even buys West Indian food with no pepper..? ..
The doubles were good and so was the dalphuri. The paratha roti was okay, not the best Ive tasted.
Ate food from here for the first time. Had the boneless chicken roti, and jerk chicken with rice. It was so-so, didnt find it as tasty as Drupatis Roti. The chicken curry had zero heat. The jerk was very mediocre.
Went and ordered the doubles. They were really good, I think next time I ll ask for pepper and tamarind tho!
My daughter by mistake ordered the wrong meal for me but when I called the women was SO nice when she finnished work she brought me a roti, rice and a pop !!!! That does NOT happen often Id at all ...best service ever and great food !

I have been coming here for 25 years. The food is always great and the service is even better. A friend insisted I try another place and I did. I brought it home and took one bite. It was horrible. I threw it out and headed straight to Rotilicious. I swear Ill never cheat on Rotilicious again.
Hands down the best doubles and boneless chicken roti on the planet. Quite happy to travel 45 minutes for take out, the food is that good. If there s a restaurant that must stay open after all the COVID nonsense, then Rotilicious will be top of that list. Give them a try if you haven t already,

Great service. Went in on a Saturday afternoon and showed my vaccination receipt. Dined in and ordered jerk chicken, some cabbage on the side and some tea afterwards. The waitress was great, very attentive. The food was amazing!

So, we did not have fun in our first attempt, may be last night they were busy painting their place or it might be Covid19 to blame for but food was not that breath taking .... Although, I tried doubles for the first time - like Indian Chana Batura it was but super tasty and nice but the Boneless Chicken Roti was tasteless, Jerk chicken was good but the portion was very small - moreover, trying to convince myself to give it another chance later!

The people here are so warm and friendly, the food is so yummy, you order it and its always hot and fresh when you get there. Theyve also just put in a patio, in order to follow the new Covid19 regulations, but they also think that people want to enjoy being outside after being cooped up for months. The only tiny downfall is they dont put too much hot sauce when you ask for hot sauce, but my family just really likes it spicy lol

I have been going to Rotilicious for as long as I can remember (at least 20 years) and I have never been disappointed with the quality of their rotis. Consistency is always there with great flavour and the roti bakes are excellent. I have West Indian roots from Trinidad and so I know a good roti. I also recommend the potatoes balls as they are a great complement to a roti.

Had doubles which were not taster and very oily. Had boneless chicken rottee. The skin was amazing but inside did not taste fresh. Rice and peas were dry and had a tomatoee taste. Overall, not as good as others in Durham but prices are Amazing......

Oh my god such a nice tasty and spicy as we wanted. portion was enough what you pay for. don,t shy to ask extra spicy chutney, they are happy to give you. Good place for lunch.
It is an excellent restaurant to dine and have a drink.The service is very good, the staff are very friendly and makes your stay very comfortable.
