Blossom Garden Chinese Restaurant in Ajax

Been going here since high school, food has always been consistent and delicious. The fried rice is very clean and does not have that typical greasy taste from most Chinese take-out restaurants.

The food was absolutely incredible , the lobster and pasta was definitely favorite Parking: Parking all in the front

First time ordering from here was pleasantly surprised the food was decent , if I could add one thing take the plexiglass down or give it a clean otherwise I would recommend eating there

Best Chinese food in the area! Their Chicken Chop Suey is fresh tasting and delicious! Loved the Dinner for three with General Tso Chicken. Excellent deal! Parking: Right in front of the store

Everything was delicious and hot! I especially loved the orange chicken. It was much more flavorful than I expected. There free crab rangoons were tasty as well.

I ordered a $100 worth of food. Its mediocre Chinese food. The meat dishes with veggies had a couple of pieces of meats was full of unnecessary veggies. If i wanted veggies i would of ordered that. Portions are small. I will not order here again.

For years I have regularly enjoy a combo plate from here in place of processed outlets like burger joints. I am happy with the service and the food.

Food tasty oily

Portion of protein was small, could taste a lot of MSG in the fried rice, egg roll was fried in old oil, it was really dark and greasy. There are better spots in Ajax for the lunch special.

Update: pre covid this was a great place for take out. The past few years the place is going downhill. Nov 25th we got a dinner for 4 for a birthday celebration and some of the containers were barely full and not enough for 4 to enjoy. The price has jumped heavily. Its become simply not worth it. Find a better place to get take out. Best Chinese in Ajax..you will love it. Great dinner for 4 Sesame Chicken.

This place was amazing until they jacked up all the prices...now its way too expensive. Not good.

Not much testy... ok type. When you are too much hungry then try this place. If you are looking for celebrating an evening, dont go here.

I love blossom garden. I grew up eating their food whenever I had spare change for a c3 and a roast pork lo main. The result for me is searching for a roast pork lo main that compares, and its a very hard thing to find, the way they did it, evidently. I have extreme bias here, but theyve never let me down

Blossom Garden used to be our go to for years. About 5 years ago they delivered our meal stone cold. I called to complain but they weren t too apologetic. Tried them last week and explained what happened last time and thought I would try them again. I asked for the food to be spicy. The $70 meal arrived hot and bland. NO fortune cookies 1 pack of soya sauce 2 packs of duck sauce (no duck meals were preferred) and 1 pack of hot sauce. I m done with Blossom Garden. I can hardly wait for CT wok to open again! Their food is fantastic and you get a lot.

Solid place for old school comfort Chinese food. All the food we had was well seasoned and fresh. Some of the best sweet and sour chicken I ve tasted, pork fried rice, wonton and sweet and sour soup were also very good. Nice home made spring rolls as well.

Great prices, even more amazing food! Fried rice is on point and so is every other dish you order...freshly made, hot and ready to eat! Highly recommend!

Food is good. Normally order dinner for three and it is always enough.

Ive been going to this location quite often because I wasnt sure of many good Chinese restaurants in Ajax. In all my years going to this restaurant I never received good customer service. I recently stopped going here for good due to the terrible customer service. The lady at the front never greets customers, or says thank you for coming. She literally just hands you the food and tells you pay. If Im going to be spending my money I at least want good customer service.

Everything was ok. From the service to food, nothing was outstanding, but not terrible either. We asked for mild dishes, and they came with no spice (and low flavour).

This used to be my go to place for Chinese but the portions have shrunk, the sauce is sparse and the price has gone up. Is it under new owners? I mean they even scrimped on the fortune cookies. No more fortunes. I would make a special trip to pick up in Ajax, sadly I wont be back, Im sure I can find better closer to home.

My 1st visit, I Tried the Hunan beef with House special fried rice. Beef was good with assortment of veggies that came in it. Portion was also good. The fried rice was not so nice it was some what dry and grainy. Will go back and try other dishes.

Unfortunately showed up with five family members to dine out, but to our surprise we couldnt sit down and eat. Not fun eating in the car.

I have buying food for my family from there for 10+ yrs now and Until today I had no complaints. I found Elastic Band in with the Vegetable Lo Mein I called them and the same Lady that took my order answered the phone. She did not apologize or suggest anything to makeup for such carelessness. Her tone was defensive when I asked What are you willing to do about it? Perhaps they are not used to complaints. That s good I guess I won t be going there again.

Went to purchase mix Lomé in at Blossom Garden Restaurant in Ajax at Salem and Kingston road on Monday, September 21,2020. The lady and the man in the restaurant was arguing for over 10 minutes while serving the food. None of them was wearing mask throughout the entire time in the store. She also come to the cash take the order, collect payment and still no mask by anyone of them. All the food was in the open , nothing was covered and they never stop walking around the store and talking with absolutely no mask. I got home started to eat my food and bit something crispy. Wondering what it was as I thought the shrimp should not be so crispy I pause for a bit to pay attention to the food , that s when i saw a huge insect look as if it s a fly or a bee , that s when I knew I bit on one of them therefore it must be more than one. I them call the public health department. I find that to be really disgusting.@

I have been coming to this place since I was a teenager! This place is an icon in my Chinese food experience. I moved 20 minutes away from Ajax and tried to find a Chinese food restaurant that could replace Blossom Garden. Unfortunately after numerous attempts, I decided that it was worth the 50 minute round trip for blossom garden! Cant express how much I love this place! Not necessarily the fanciest establishment but it is that hole in the wall gem that has unbelievable food and reliable service! Strongly recommend!!

The price for this place is reasonable, but unfortunately the food quality was not up to standard. The onion and green pepper on my dish was very under cooked. The fried noodle dish I ordered was very soggy and greasy. Would not return.

I just purchased a lunch combo, General Tai Chicken with rice and egg roll. Very sad, 4 tiny pieces of chicken, mostly fat, the egg roll wasnt even cooked and the lady at the counter was not pleasant. I would give it less than 1 star if I could. Very disappointing. Never go back.

Great people, fast service, food made fresh. Recommend the free Crab Rangoon if you order enough to qualify for the freebie. We also like the Pepper Beef, Boneless Spareribs, Sesame Chicken, Happy Family, and the House Special Wonton Soup. We dont usually eat inside. Its a bit stark, so better for takeout or delivery. Agree that sometimes they sound abrupt on the phone, but they are really pleasant in person and efficient (orders are correct, have all the condiments and fortune cookies, too).

They have good prices , fast delivery and of course amazing food.

Ordered takeout via telephone on a weekend for our family of 6. For <$50 we had enough for the family plus 2 lunches. Food was good. Gen. Tso chicken, beef, pork, and lo mein all recommended. Will definitely order again. If Im working in the area, I look forward to trying out their lunch menu.

Worest experince ordering food waited 15 mins while they figured out why their meachine didnt work to take payment ..only to find out their on dail up so when their taking orders on the phone they cant take payment...then i asked three times if the chicken balls were the big round type they said yes and offfff course they are small tiny little chicken balls and when i called back they said thats the only type they had ...if thats all you have then be honest and say that instead of trying to quick places a order for a sale as i would have went else where wont be back!!

This restaurant is old & dirty looking not a great place to eat, no plates, steel knives or forks just cheap plastic utensils. Owners are not friendly horrible customer service food is horrible garbage stay very far away, rats and cockroaches infested unsafe

I have tried many different places in Durham region for Chinese food and they were all a giant disappointment!! I have been a faithful customer of the blossom garden for 5 yrs now and I now live 20 mins away and will never go anywhere else!!! Try the chicken balls and the general Tao chicken its amazing !!

We tried this place out for the first time with mediocre results. We ordered delivery but our food took an hour and 20 minutes to arrive. They deliberately ignored my first call asking where my food was. They simply put the phone down and stopped talking. I called back and only then did they tell me the food was on the way. The food is just okay, but is a really good value. A lot of food for a good price, but the beef and chicken dishes in the family dinner combo tasted the same. Good, but the same. I wont buy from there again.

If youre looking for some good, quick, inexpensive Chinese food, this is your place. I love the lunch menu, and it comes with an egg roll for under $6. Ive had a few items off the regular menu, and nothing has disappointed. And the staff is friendly too. Great place.
