One of the most delicious places in Durham for real. I ve ordered a handful of different dishes from here and everything is out of this world. The Goat-o-rrito is my fave so far. The staff are super friendly and quick! Order from their website over ubereats!

The staff are friendly, however the food wasnt worth the price. The meat was raw and all of us felt bad after having it.

Wife ordered for my 50th birthday party off the catering menu for 20-22 people. It was more then enough food with lots of left overs. The food was fresh and tasted great. The cost for the amount of food was amazing and the service was awesome. Will definitely use this place for catering needs in the future and would highly recommend it.

Drive all the way from Bowmanville for this amazing food! The chicken souvlaki is amazing flavours blend perfectly together. Husband loves the Crazy Pita with the mixed protein. Wish they had a location near us. Definitely worth the drive.

Super flavourful Greek food, but definitely order ahead to avoid waiting

Absolutely incredible!! Unique and tasty blend of both Trini/Greek cultural foods all wrapped and topped up the way you like. Big fan of Jerk Chicken, and the Socarito was outstanding. Awesome staff who go over the menu thoroughly for newcomers. 100% highly recommend.

Great food great service

I ordered the chicken souvlaki with rice and a large Greek salad. I loved everything except the salad, the salad was so bad, fresh everything but the dressing and whatever type of feta was bad. I still plan on trying more stuff as I think this place is super super clean and they have good food. Just fix the dressing and better feta goes a long way.

They like to argue with customers. I went here 2x, last week everything was packaged separately and this week they crammed everything in 1 packed including pouting rice and chicken souvlaki. I wasted my money getting extra tzatziki because the rise drank up the gave, and it was so weird mixed Canadian food with Greek. Plus, when we told them, they argued with us, saying its always been done like this for 21 years. Next time learn how to just say sorry and how can we make it up. Nope they called back twice to say they are the best etc... Never spending my money here way better Greek places cooked by Ilnon Greeks. SAPARAKALO!!!

The service was 10/10. It was my first time there and buddy walked me through the entire menu and made suggestions based on how long different things would take (I couldnt wait too long). He then offered to bring the food out to me in my car once it was done. Amazing dude!

Amazing food and service! I spent my summers in Greece as a kid and the souvlaki here reminds me of the souvlaki from Athens! I also love their rice and lemon potatoes. I am so glad Ajax has an authentic Greek restaurant now.

Delicious wraps! The addition of the crunchy fries inside the wrap plus the sauces and meat especially the steak, go so well together. Its so delicious. Very tasty food. Only thing Id like is for them to have some kind of daily special deal or standard selection of deals. I need to push myself to try other things from here and also something from the roti side

Lots of options and great service

Small takeout only spot with great food and service. Ordered the 16 stick family feast online, everything was ready in just over 20 minutes. Walked in and the food was ready, the worker/owner was very personable and helped walk the order to the car outside. The food was excellent, pitas were grilled and seasoned nicely, rice was good (and plenty), and the chicken souvlaki + pork sticks were delicious and not dry which can happen in some places. Strongly recommend, best Greek food I ve had in Durham, especially for takeout.

I ordered catering for a client event for 20 people. Online system was seamless and very easy. I called in the morning to see if there was accommodations as I was running behind for my pickup and they gave me some options. I arrived and they carried all the food out for me. Very well-run business, polite and friendly staff, and the food was DELICIOUS!!! Everyone enjoyed. Will definitely order from here in the future.

Fantastic food! Ordered the dinner for 4 and it was more than enough. Lemon potatoes had great flavour, our chicken and pork was seasoned fantastically. The coleslaw had the right amount of dressing! Cant wait to go back.

I ordered souvlaki dinners from here last week, and all I can say is, oh my gosh its delicious! Everything we had was absolutely mouth watering, and I think it was probably the best Greek rice Ive ever tasted. The staff member who gave me my order was also super friendly and up-beat, which was awesome. Highly recommend trying here for takeout and we will absolutely be back!

Came here on a suggestion from a friend who lives close by. Asked him for a good take out and his first answer was Crazy Greek. Holy sheeshkebab!!!!! Ordered the pork and chicken souvlaki and it did not disappoint. The food was really good. The chicken was juicy and the pork nice and tender. I dont know how they manage it but even after a 1/2 hour trip to get home the fries were not soggy at all. And oh boy, that home-made tzatziki is reason enough to make the trip. I think if they had a pita + tzatziki meal I would get that for snack . Solid choice. And no need to drive down all the way to the Danforth. You can just jump out of the 401 and grab your meal!

The best Greek food in Ajax. I have lived there most my life and will try any Greek place that pops up. I ve been going here since it opened and cannot recommend it enough. The food is always fresh and cooked to order. The staff take such care in how everything is handled and packaged. You never have to worry about getting the wrong order or that something is missing. If you arrive early, you can go back to your car and they will bring the order to you when it s ready. I really cannot say enough about this place. If you love Greek food, then you need to eat here.

Ordered from the Crazy Greek for the first time for a work function. The food was amazing! Everyone was impressed and definitely did not leave hungry. I think weve found our new go to for group luncheons. The staff went above and beyond which I very much appreciated. Thank you Nick!

I used to go to Greek Freak, I found this place about 9 months ago and let s just say I probably have the most points accumulated on their loyalty program. Everything they make is incredible, tasty and fresh. Even their Greek salad is amazing. My favourite item on their menu is the barnyard pita, it s incredible and loaded with chicken and gyro with oodles of taziki sauce, delicious touch of fries and I recommend adding their homemade pepper sauce for a touch of spice. Best Greek place in Durham region hands down! Their also super cool there, the owner is hands on which is I suspect why their quality is high and consistent.

The food was delicious. We ordered the family platter for 3 and it came with choice of three sides, six souvalaki sticks, and three pops. The chicken souvalaki was moist, loved the seasoned rice and lemon potatoes. The take out service was fast and friendly.

Ordered here a number of times and have always loved the food. I usually get the large platters as I have a big family. The pork is my favorite by far. Chicken is good too but sometimes a little salty. The tzatziki is delicious as well as the rice and potatoes. Salads, rice, potato portions are not large for large, Id say they feed two of that salad but tasty overall.

Really good gyros. The portions in the gyro box were generous. The gyro pita was very good. Very reasonably priced. Definitely worth trying if you re after a good gyro sandwich.

Check the reviews looks good but you cant go by reviews anymore. The chicken was dry and salty the potato was dry very disappointed had to throw away the chicken souvlaki dinner, not authentic.

This place I wouldn t say is really Greek food it s more just some rice with chicken on a stick. They have a lot going on in this restaurant two different types of cultures Trinidadian, and Greek. I ve never heard of that combo before I ordered twice from this place. Only reason is there a combo deals for family is reasonable but other than that I wouldn t call it Greek food. The food is tasty, but it s not Greek. The service here though is quite weird. It s not a place where you can just walk in and get food. You have to place the order at least 30 minutes ahead of time might as well have some seating area

Weird concept but great food

Solid 10 star performance. When you go to this place, you are going to be dealing with the owners, and they are cool. Had a gyro, salad, and lemon potatoes. Everything was right on, and even though it was cooked to order, it didnt take that long, 10 min max. They take your order and then bring your stuff to the car. Cool assortment of unfamiliar soft drinks too. I cant recommend this place more, if you want some great food to take out. Vegetarian options: Saw some vegetables and rice Parking: I parked a truck and I liked it.

This evening my wife wanted Greek food upon looking on line she discovered Crazy Greek. We called our order in to them. Told us it would be 20 min. Upon arriving to the store I was greeted by one of the owners. We had a great conversation about the restaurant and found out it s her and her husband that own it. He s Greek and she s from the Caribbean. I paid for my order and headed home. Upon arriving home, I was amazed by how large the tzatziki sauce was and creamy it was. The chicken was cooked perfectly, moist not taught. The lemon potatoes were great and the rice was perfectly cooked. The pita was the right amount and the salad was good also. I wasn t able to finish my meal but it was tasty and good. Please support the little family restaurants this is what makes our community so diverse. So happy to have ordered from this wonderful restaurant. Next time I m going to have the curry chicken on rice and beans. Keep up the great work.

Visiting from Scarborough, and we wanted greek food to take to our sons place for dinner. Walked in to order, very fast service, told us it would be about 15 minutes and to wait in our vehicle. Brought order out to us. When we got to our sons place, we were surprised the amount in each order. 3 chicken solvlaki dinners, and chicken pita with fries. Everything was very very good and enough left over for next day. Maybe come to Scarborough to open another restaurant.

Durham gets a bad rap for not having the best eateries but look no further than Crazy Greek. An epic 3 in 1 restaurant that Ill have to come back again to try their other selections, Crazy Greek offers an impressive selection of succulent tasting pitas and other dishes. Located tucked away in a small plaza next to a convenience store is a heavenly local business serving up the best tasting beef n lamb gyro Ive ever eaten. As soon as I got home, I unwrapped my pita and devoured it in record time, it was just absolutely tasty, from the crisp seasoned fries to the succulent beef to the hefty helpings of tzatziki sauce, and some tomatoes and onions to boot. For 10 dollars, one pita is guaranteed to fill you up amazingly full, I highly recommend.

We catered for an event from Crazy Greek that was held at the end of September. We went in to personally place our order. The place is owned by a husband and wife team. We were pleasantly met by one of the owners, Melissa. Ive dealt with both her and her husband. I spoke with him the night before to confirm our order. They are very nice people to deal with. The food was delicious. The Chicken Souvlaki was the best Ive ever had. It was moist and seasoned to perfection. The portions of the food were huge. The rice, oven lemon roasted potatoes and the Greek salad were all very good. The pita bread and the tzatziki sauce were in abundance. Best tzatziki sauce ever. Last night I had chicken dinner with salad and potatoes. Food was really tasty and fresh. Pita was awesome. My only reason for 4 star is because that rice was little hard.Other wise everything was great.

Fantastic! We were looking for takeout on Saturday night around 8:30 PM and decided to try Crazy Greek. I am very glad we did. The order was ready for pick up in just under 20 minutes. We ordered two chicken souvlaki dinners with rice, potatoes, salad and pitas. The chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The potatoes were just soft enough to be split with a fork. We loved the flavour of the rice. There was enough food left over for lunch on Sunday. We will definitely order from the Crazy Greek again.

We ordered a bunch of different items and they were all really delicious. Greek fries with feta was my favourite! And the individual serving is definitely for more than one individual:) rice was delicious, skewers were seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Salad was fresh and the dressings were delicious. Staff were nice and friendly as well. You can actually see the kitchen while waiting and you can see the cleanliness and attention to detail of staff.

Stumbled upon this place after doing some shopping across the street. There are 2 different areas as you enter the place: follow the line on the right for pick up, line on the left to order takeout. There is no dine in option. My son & I ordered the Crazy Pita (no crazy sauce or onions), and Veggie Pita. Cheap price for the portion you receive, which is quite big. The staff will bring it to your vehicle. Ill say this: not sure what type of spice was on the fries inside the pita (maybe it was just made with lots of love?), but my son ate the whole thing, and he never finishes anything in one sitting. I was very impressed. He has already requested to go back there next weekend. The staff were very friendly and patient, and were very accommodating with our request to omit a couple of ingredients.

Theyre a pretty decent tasting greek spot, cant complain. Their greek fries are pretty decent, at times it can be drenched too much in their sauce though. The chicken is usually grilled to perfection and their rice is very good.

Really good Greek food in Whitby between these guys, Tycoon and Nicks. Tough choice but really enjoyed our meal here and will be back. I like the package specials in particular for bigger get togethers.

I have ordered from Crazy Greek several times but recently tried one of their catering packages for a birthday/Father s Day gathering. The online ordering process and customer service throughout the pickup process was top notch. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all. We were looking for a Greek Restaurant to get our family event catered. We tried several restaurants in the Durham area and came across Crazy Greek. We initially went for lunch to test it out and were greeted by Nick who was extremely helpful and friendly. We took our food home to eat and it was excellent! We had a chicken souvlaki dinner and a gyro. I cant stress enough how fresh and tasty and authentic everything was. I called Nick up to thank him and place another order for the following week for our event. We ordered enough food for 45 people. Everyone at the party raved about the food and asked where we ordered it from. Thank you to Nick and the team for a fantastic meal that made our party complete. We will be ordering from you again! I continue to recommend this place to anyone in or near ajax looking for authentic Greek, and Trini food. Plus, they have married the two styles in really tasty and creative ways. If you have the chance to speak to Nick youll learn so much about the menu and also quickly understand why he cares so much about the quality of the food you will get. Always happy to stop in when Im in the area. Why arent you going there yet?

Love love love this place. Never disappointed! Went today and ordered my regular pita and sometimes I get the salad but today l got the freakn fries and they are to die for. Love the sauce ! They also gave me a sample of their new Freak n fried potatoes. Yummy! Highly recommend them and their staff are friendly and curb side pick is flawless.

After having tasted the chicken souvlaki, I can confidently say that this is by far the best chicken I ve tasted. The order was prepared on time and was cooked to perfection. The staff was also exceptionally welcoming and knowledgeable in their approach. I highly recommend trying them out, you won t be disappointed

Tried this take out for the first time last night. Got one of the family feasts. It was a hit with my whole family! We had plenty of food to go around with leftovers. The chicken was delicious, and the pork stick was absolutely fantastic! Reminded me of the restaurants on the Danforth in Toronto. Absolutely love this place and will return, and LOVE the idea of being able to order roti in the same building :D

This place used to be my favourite. The quality is great. They got rid of the Pork gyro though which was my whole familys number one choice. Ive gone up the road to the greek freak because they still offer it! BRING IT BACK FREAK N GREEK!!!!

Amazing greek food! Ordered the Freak n Dinner as well as the Beef n Lamb Gyro Dinner . Both were so delicious, all meats were juicy and deliciously seasoned! Rice was great, really loved the salad as well. Super fresh and delicious. Prices were also cheaper than expected! Will definitely be coming back here and recommending it to friends. Best gyros this side of town! Id recommend trying it with the house made hot sauce if youre a fan of spicy. It will definitely fill you up heartily!

First visit tonight. Placed my order online and was given a 30 minute pick up time, which was perfect for me. Arrived at the restaurant and was greeted by friendly staff. Their service window opens onto their kitchen and wow: this place is spotless. Gentleman who handed me my food thanked me repeatedly for my business and that alone would have made me go back. That is until I tried the food. I had the Beef and Lamb gyro with Crazy Fries. INCREDIBLE. Huge portions, great flavour, packed very well. Will 100% be back and probably soon! Thanks Crazy Greek staff. You guys are awesome.

Had the beef and lamb gyro box today and it was fantastic. A great price and the perfect size for a good lunch. Really enjoyed it and will definitely come back.

Very clean, lady that took my order was very friendly and introduced herself which made it very welcoming. Food wise was even better, fresh produce and meat and fries in my pitia melted in my mouth. Over all experience perfect I will be back

This place totally impressed this new comer to the Ajax area. The service was fast and super friendly. The man at the windown was friendly and so nice, and they brought my order out to my car. The food!!!! Amazing portion we got the chicken souvlaki dinner and the beef and Lamb gyros dinner. Chicken was so nice and soft and rice has a great flavor and the potatoes deliver on the lemon flavor. I will definitely be back for more @CrazyGreek.

Excellent food. Ordered for the first time today and was very impressed. Had the Freak n pita with pork and chicken mix, it was excellent. Had a personal fry which was also very good. Pita was fesh, meat was tender and the freak sauce was very good/tasty. This will probably be my go to for Greek food from now on. Looking forward to trying some of their other menu items.

My two favourite cuisines in one place. The chicken souvlaki was PERFECT! It seriously took me back to my time in Greece. The chicken was cooked just right; slight grill marks, shows the spice, and it s moist! NOT DRY like jimmy the Greek or mr.Greek ! Highly recommend.

Not sure if there is new ownership with the name change or if they ve adjusted their portion sizes, but I Ordered the chicken pita with a cucumber village salad. The pita filling (fries,tomato, chicken, etc) was significantly less than when it was the Freak N Greek (save and except the chicken skewer). The skewer was not completely removed from the chicken so I ended up biting down on a wooden skewer. I had placed an order on the website and when I arrived, I gave my name. The employee proceeded to hand me a bag with my name on it and just a salad. I asked if the Chicken pita was in the bag, he said yes. So I felt the weight of the bag and it was not in there. Then I received my drink in a totally separate bag, then the employee had to ask about my pita which they said still needed to be made. In the end, they kindly brought the pita out to my car. I will be back because this is the first not so great experience I ve had here. Just hope it s not a sign of things to come.

I got crazy pita, chicken souvlaki pita, and Greek salad yesterday. It s sooo good. I never know pita can be this delicious!! Must try! The pretty girl at reception is very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. I would come back for sure

I had a great experience with both the food and the staff at Crazy Greek. The food was great as it both smelled and tasted delicious. The staff was very friendly, both when they took my order and when they gave my food to me. Wonderful restaurant and can not wait to come visit again.

Love this place!

I wish I could remember the womans name who served me today. She was amazing. If she isnt the one running the place, she should be. She was so kind, patient, friendly and sweet. She spent the time to explain the menu, and actually introduced herself to me when she asked for my name for the order. I am a manager at a chain retail business and will be using my interaction with her to guide my team to provide that same customer service going forward. Aside from the pleasantries, the food was amazing. I have had crazy greek a couple times before, as greek food is my favourite. I have also tried most of the other greek places around durham. It is usually great, but this time everything was perfect. The fries were crispy on the outside and just melted on the inside. Meat and everything else was great. This is an honest review, Im not getting sponsored. Please go to this place. It may not be as shiny and inviting on the outside compared to others but the food and service more than makes up for it.

Excellent, fresh and flavourful. Large menu to suit all tastes. Great value for money. I would just ask that the paratha be cooked a bit more, and get a spicier sauce for those that like the heat. I will definitely be back again!

Chicken souv wrap was great, chicken souv dinner and Greek fries had way to much lemon on there, I couldnt finish either because it was so tangy. Id give it another try though!

Order: Gyro pita, crazy dinner, crazy potatoes Really enjoyed the beef and lamb gyros. Tender and flavourful and very filling. The dinner was a good size for the price. The crazy sauce is on point. Overall good value for money. Picked up in store and the order was ready right on time.

Clean facility, efficient and friendly staff. I have ordered a gyro in the box and a side of souvlaki stick, thinking the gyro may be not enough for a hungry guy for lunch ... After 20min. of munching I was stuffed to the brim with an awesome and very satisfying taste left in my mouth! Highly recommended!

Food here is amazing! The Greek is the best off the Danforth. The roti is mind blowing, great collaboration. Love the variety and the owner is a truly caring guy! Wish him all the best in business, his product if amazing.

Just tried the Crazy Pita, it was delicious! I had gotten everything in it with the pepper sauce! It had lots of meat and the pita was like a naan, really soft. Will go back again!

We ordered gyro pitas and chicken pita today first time and Nick was amazing he was very professional and the food was fantastic. I have not had such amazing Greek food in a while. The chicken was juicy and gyro was very fresh. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This was our first time trying crazy Greek. This is a PERFECT addition to ajax and the area. When we walked in Nick greeted us and was super helpful with telling us about the meau. He had such a cheerful tone to his voice which always makes the experience better. We ordered 2 chicken souvlaki pitas, 2 personal salads, 2 stick of chicken souvlaki and fries. All freshly made to order. It says on the wall to be patient as it is not a fast food restaurant. We were happy to wait for the foodand it wasnt even that long. Nick had a staff bring our order right out to our car. This was the best Greek food I have ever tried. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the fries were a great addition to the pita. Such a fresh tzatziki too. Will definitely come again. AWESOME customer service, friendly and fresh. All the best things. Thank you Nick for an awesome first experience

This place is the hidden gem of Ajax. Went for the first time last week and I m back again. The staff are super friendly and the customer service is amazing. The quality of the food is good every time, food made fresh to order definitely worth the wait. Order ahead if you re in a little bit of a rush but if you don t mind waiting you won t regret it.

Tried out this spot for the first time, you have to order ahead as they make the orders fresh and typically takes about 25 minutes. I ordered a chicken wrap and 1 stick w/ Greek salad. Loved it, and looking forward to trying more items in the future. Customer service was also great and they asked me to wait in my car while my order was being made, since they will come and provide it once complete.
