Very delicious shawarma! I was pleasantly surprised to receive some free falafel on the side, which was a nice touch. The staff were incredibly friendly, making the experience even better. I ll definitely be coming back to try it again!

This the best place to get Shawarma in Durham. I ve tried all the Shawarma s and they have been all delicious! The Hummus was delicious and the Baba ganoush is something to come back for. The salads in my orders were always fresh. I think the only thing they can improve on is their skewer dish. I think it would be better if it was charbroiled. My favourite dish on the menu is their Falafel Delite Combo.

Quantity is huge but the taste is very average. It tasted kind of sour may be because of the sauces. If you prefer the size over the taste, you can try this one.

I liked my shawarma, wife not as much, which is why I took off a star. Not sure why she didnt like it, I thought it was really good. Grumpy bearded guy making them, just as youd want. Love the old school retro vibe of the place, feels like its been there since the 60s or 70s. Id go back, for sure, there are other items Id like to try. And their home made hot sauce, I want to get some and try it.

Still the best shawarma in Durham Region! I would have posted a picture but I couldn t stop eating my mixed shawarma to take the picture. This was my return visit after at least a year or 2 and these guys are still hands down the best tasting shawarma in Durham. They serve you the most flavourful meat and sauces. If you enjoy shawarma, put this on your to try list if you haven t already. THE BEST!

I travel all over the southern Ontario area work work, I go to many shawarma places . Pita Delights in Ajax is the best chicken shawarma wrap you can buy in Southern Ontario. Ive been around and tried many but Pita Delights remain the best!

I visited this place today. They have increased their prices crazy. It used to be in the budget but now you cant afford it. 1 falafel wrap combo for 19 dollars which is totally ripping off. Not gonna come back here.

The shawarma was very flavourful, the pickled cabbage is a game changer. However, the bread was just a little too hard for me and took away from the enjoyment. However, I would definitely consider trying again

The portions are insane, the flavours are off the charts, super fresh ingredients, and the prices are on point. I had the Chicken Shawarma and Falafel and I can t say enough how fresh everything was. Staff here were super friendly, and the place is immaculately clean. I ll be telling everyone I know about this place.

Dietary restrictions: I bought fries and shaurama and mini chicken samosas. Paid $29 +. Apart from fries couldn t eat anything else. Dry meat and samosas. Very disappointed. I think I ordered the wrong stuff. The service was excellent.

Ordered via Uber eats and called the restaurant after to clear up a couple of questions. The associate was incredibly attentive and excited for us as first time customers. Not only did our order show up incredibly faat, it was huge! Super fresh. We received a couple of extra small items they wanted us to try! Needless to say this is our new #1 takeout spot. Chicken wrap, chicken souvlaki wrap, falafels and both the spicy / regular garlic sauce highly reccomend! Ten stars if possible

This location is definitely worth the visit. The perfect amount of shawarma and in large servings. There are some excellent deals on combos and family meals.

The platters here are amazing and are perfect for a large family. We ve twice ordered a platter for lunch and have been impressed with the quality and freshness. My husband has been coming here for years and usually only got a wrap or plate. If you need to order for lots of people, consider a platter. I don t think you will regret it!

Such a great welcome from the owners and staff. The minute you step in the smell of food is amazing. We were served by Asmar, he was all smiles, he even offered us falafel to taste. We had such a good customer experience, I totally recommend this restaurant.

This is the best Shawarma Spot in Durham! Hi, do not go anywhere else. I recommend all my people hair I thank my deceased cousin for putting me on. Not only is the food amazing. But the service in there super friendly super welcoming. The portions are huge. I can never finish the Shawarma overall worth every cent. It s my go to, and I will continue to go here. I normally get their beef Shawarma with garlic potatoes. Yum.

I did truly enjoy this shawarma salad, as if had a diversity of ingredients and incredible taste, however it was much too expensive for the price. The food quality is high which I was definitely admire and impressed by, however it simply was much too expensive for the quantity that was delivered. However, if you are looking for a once in a while treat, do come check out this place

Been coming here for years since they sold their Pickering location. Best shawarma and falafel in the region by far.. its not even close. All their sauces and dips are excellent, as are the garlic fries. The owner and his family are also genuinely the nicest people you will meet.

Family ran business. VERY friendly. The food is fresh and full of flavour. The shawarma meats are cut from the spit and quickly grilled to order. My favourite is the mixed shawarma (beef and chicken) with garlic, hummus, tabouli, red cabbage, spiced onions, turnips, tahini, and homemade green apple jalapeno hot sauce. They are generous with their toppings, and, most importantly, they distribute them evenly. The wraps are always toasted properly. Theyve recently started to sell bottles of their homade hot sauces. I travel around Ontario, A LOT, and have tried shawarma almost everywhere Ive been. This is easily my favourite shawarma restaurant, and I always make an effort to stop here when Im traveling through Ajax. Parents used to buy takeout from here back in the early 2000s when I was still in school, then I started going myself during high school and back when I was visiting college. Food has always been fresh and delicious. Great family owned restaurant, I ve enjoyed pretty much the whole menu over the last decade or so and will continue doing so.

Lovely friendly people here and great food. We usually get a chicken pita with everything, but I also highly recommend the garlic potatoes. Big portions and really tasty.

Honestly a pretty good Shawarma. I came here on a Saturday afternoon while running errands in the area and decided to try this place for lunch. The service was fast & friendly, and the selection of toppings was pretty good. I liked that they used one full pita bread plus half more to secure your sandwich. One Chicken Shawarma Sandwich is about $11

The best Mediterranean-Arab shawarma joint in Durham Region. Their tabouli salad and falafels are consistently excellent, and their chicken shawarma is the absolute best quality meat. My only concern is that their prices are pretty steep, and seem to go up regularly

Found this place on our route through Toronto. Delicious shawarma, not overpriced, and such friendly service. The guy made me feel like family, he was so kind, and even included free falafel samples! If I lived nearby I would easily be a regular but for now I will eat here when Im passing by.

Pita Delites has been around for as long as I can remember. I love all their menu items! Last night, they saved my time and energy! Late in the day, with only my chicken Shawarma at home, I went to shop for the rest of my ingredients for wraps. It was after 7 pm so no grocery stores were open that would have such fine ingredients! They provided me with two bags of Pita, a large order of tabouli (which was absolutely fantastic) garlic sauce and hummus. Everything was absolutely fantastic. Pita delites never disappoints! They have been a corner stone of our community for decades! Please support them you won t be disappointed!

Ordered here today cause of the reviews would not order again worst shawarma I have ever eaten veggies were not fresh they were soggy like last nights old veggies chicken was not good bland and under seasoned and the sauce tasted off and gross would not order again

I went exclusively for their bottled hot sauce. Warning to everyone, it exploded like a shaken pop open opening then bubbled up for about 5 minutes afterwards. I dont know anything about making and bottling hot sauce but they need to do something about the exploding air bubbles. Other than that, tasty. Will likely be back for more in the future but just be careful!

I ordered a falafel wrap combo and it was really good. I did garlic fries instead of fries. I also got a side of baklava. The price was reasonable for this wrap and I highly recommend. Vegetarian options: Falafel, garlic fries, baklava are some of the options that I remember from the menu Parking: Restaurant is located in a strip mall, so parking is pretty easy to find and is decent. Parking is well lit as well.

Tried, tested and true. This place and these LOVELY gentlemen behind the counter have been a main-stay in Ajax for almost twenty years. Extremely impressive in their consistency, and perfectly balanced in flavor. Great toppings, delicious and fresh. Tasty seasoning of the meat. Cannot express how much I love Pita Delites.
