Noodles are ultra-comforting with a great flavour. Heating could be improved especially close to the entrance in the winter, but the interior design is otherwise nice.

Had the signature double beef. Probably the best bowl of noodle soup Ive ever had, and Ive had a lot of soup. Good portion and price, and you can taste the quality. Check this place out, youll love it.

The best beef noodles. You can have it in soup or in sauce and soup on the side. The beef is nicely seasoned and tender. The rice noodles is perfectly cooked. There is also Vegetarian noodles meal. They customize to your taste, spicy or not. The price is fair for the large portion. Food is ready in 5mins. Is worth the drive. Highly recommend this place.

Signature beef double up featured terrible overcooked beef, no flavour, noodles were limp and had no bite. Tomato braised beef had more tender beef chunks and more flavourful broth. Overall the high Google rating is woefully inaccurate and I would not recommend and will never return.

Good food. I had the fried pepper zhajiang with wheat noodles and broth on the side, demon egg tofu, and beef shank with tripe. A nice, authentic Chinese dining experience. Im happy!

To have authentic Chinese attracted me to this restaurant and I was thrilled with my experience! They have items for spice enthusiasts, for vegetarians and even for picky kids (fries and chicken nugget like balls). For a food connoisseur I was very pleased with the presentation of the items as well the collage of flavours in each dish.

I loved the beef noodle bowl with broth. I chose medium spicy, and it was deliciously spicy!! Our server was attentive and kind. I will definitely go back when we are in Ajax again!

We stumbled across the noodle shop by chance. It was a pleasant surprise. The fresh noodles was a nice surprise. The warming spiced soup was delicious.

The food was delicious- we ordered a variety of appetizers (chicken bites and shrimp spring rolls), noodles and rice dishes. The deep fried bananas with ice cream was a nice finish to our dinner. We will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious authentic hunan style food.

We all very much enjoyed it and cannot wait to go back! Huge portion for the amount of food. The smashed cucumbers are amazing!

I have been eating rice noodles here frequently for a year. The quality has always been good. It is delicious and not expensive. It is even better than domestic rice noodles.

The soup is very tasty, and a refill is offered on the broth if needed. I did get the refill. However, it was not the same broth as the soup broth. It was less tasty and very light in colour. When I added some of it to the remains soup, it wasnt as tasty. So be aware of the extra broth offering. I forgot to take pics.

I came with some friends for dinner and the service was great! Staff are kind, friendly and make great suggestions. They also accommodated for two of our friends with allergies. The space is clean and simple. I recommend the fried chicken bites, the smashed cucumber, tea egg and the braised beef noodle soup. I would love to come back to try some other items on the menu.

My family and I absolutely love this place! My mother is obsessed and begging us to go atleast once a week, lol. The noodle dishes are a great portion and very tasty. My personal favourite is actually the rice dishes, but really everything is good. My favourite appetizer is the veggie spring rolls - crunchy and tasty! I most recently tried the beef croissant sandwich and the anpaotai tea, and of course, delicious! And last but not least, the girls that work here are very sweet and friendly, always wearing a smile and helpful! Vegetarian options: The oyster mushroom noodle dish is to die for! I love it. Parking: Big parking lot.

Ordered takeout through UberEats, so cant comment on the service or atmosphere. However, the food is absolutely fantastic. We ordered the beef double up and the zhajiang with rice noodles and wheat noodles respectively, both very spicy level, and soup on the side. The beef one came with a delicious clean beef broth and the zhajiang with a slightly cloudier but still delicious and not too salty pork broth. Both bowls were loaded with tons of noodles, pickled veg, peppers, green onions, and meat. All of the meat was delicious, tender and spicy (unlike many of the restaurants in the area they actually make it hot enough). Neither of us could finish our meals and Im looking forward to having it again later today. I would recommend getting the soup on side and adding it bit by bit to make a concentrated sauce at the bottom to soak the noodles in before you have a bite. We will be returning!

Easily one of the best places to eat in Ajax

When I heard that legit Hunanese soup noodles were in Durham I leapt at the chance. And Im glad to report its amazing. Jins whole experience is simple, from ordering via your phone, to the nice clean and welcoming atmosphere. Ive seen families, couples and singles enjoy Jins soup noodles. Ive often brought my own family and on occasion hung out with friends for dinner until closing. The food is always good and the service is great. The staff are always an ear shot away and yet dont hover. I always order the Signature Spicy Beef Double Up along with added minced pork. O M G. Do yourself a favour and stop in and enjoy.

Thats a true hidden gem! And the brilliance of this place creeps up on you; it never really hits you in the face. Its not fancy by any means, and its not trying to be. It felt more like a retro diner than anything else. But the waitress(es) were active and friendly, the food was delicious, and it wasnt common. Its not your average Chinese or Hakka diners, this is truly different, and delicious. I would definitely go back there!

Im in love! Its a new local favourite for me! The food is fantastic and the service is really good. So happy theyve opened up just down the street I was really happy with the Tomato Braised Beef, it was a really good option for the kids. Everyone left happy with their meal. The idea of refillable noodles and soup can be inviting though the initial servings are already a plenty. I had the beef jerky (mala something) for this evening and I love how the beef tasted. The noodles tasted a bit bland, the soup was okay (Asian but not that Asian tasting).

Meat Lover Triple Beef Menu states About 16OZ of beef, not even close. If it was 3oz I would be surprised. The 2 largest pieces that were about the size of a quarter were all fat and the rest was just tiny shreds. Noodles looked like packaged dry spaghetti nothing like an authentic Chinese style noodle at all. quite disappointed to say the least.

As a person from the northwest, this restaurant is definitely the best noodle restaurant in Durham. The four adults in our group were very satisfied, and even the little kid who is usually a big eater also ate a lot. Recommended for everyone to try.

I wanted to share my experience at Jin Mi-Fen restaurant, where I had the pleasure of trying authentic Hunan noodles. Not only were the noodles themselves reminiscent of Hunan city, but the settings of the restaurant also captured the essence of Hunan style. I would confidently rate Jin Mi-Fen Noodles 5 stars for delivering an unparalleled dining experience that transported me right to Hunan. Highly recommended..

A new favourite of ours, Jins offers quality and quantity at a reasonable price! I usually opt for the double up for the variety of flavours and have yet to be disappointed. Pro tip: there is a small discount is you pay cash. Caution: if your order a spicy dish it is VERY spicy. I usually have a pretty good spice tolerance but even the medium spice level pushes my limits.

After ages, I had a hearty amazing vegetarian noodle soup bowl. The place is very nicely setup in a cozy setting , I ordered the vegan oyster mushroom , the broth was delicious. I also ordered the fried banana which was crispy sprinkled with chocolate sauce ! Would definitely recommend this place ! Vegetarian options: The vegan oyster mushroom was amazing ! The broth was very flavorful with a huge quantity . It is a must try to all those vegetarian people who always struggle to find good vegetarian meal in restaurant.

We had the spicy beef loin noodle bowl, medium spicy, with extra veggies. It was delicious!!!! We have tried many Chinese noodle soup shops in the GTA - Megouyan and Hey Noodles and Jin s Mi Fen is by far the best! Delicious broth, fresh veggies, tasty pickles and above all fresh, delicious and expertly prepared meat!!!! Attentive and kind service too, and the new Ajax location is roomy, bright and clean. We will be back here many times.

Tried the Double beef noodle bowl and a poutine. The soup base was very very plain but the rest of the ingredients were delicious and very fresh so after adding a bit of spices it was delicious. The poutine was pretty sad though. Don t order it. I d recommend giving this place a try because the quality of food was great even though the flavours were not up my alley.

I saw this place last week when it was raining. The style they used is very creative with the yellow colour and chalk board menu. I ordered the signature beef double up bowl with soup. It was quite tasty and reminded me of the delicious southern Chinese cuisine restaurants in downtown. It is does contain Sichuan peppers which may have a numbing effect on your tongue. You ll get used to it as you continue to eat more bowls. The server was nice and gave recommendations. I spoke to the person at the cash register and she told me that they are currently soft opening as they are getting ready to do an official opening. I am very glad that they opened up an authentic noodle bowl here in Ajax. And I wish them success!

The noodle tastes rich in flavours no matter with or without soup. The side dish called spicy beef really deserves ! Sooooo many additional toppings that you can add on the rice noodle. It is a must try restaurant! Amazing food, friendly staffs and especially affordable price!

Finally an authentic Chinese restaurant in Durham. Wife had their signature beef brisket noodle and I got the signature beef double up. Beef was extremely flavourful which paired well with the hearty broth. Very generous portion of rice noodles. I got mine with a fried egg. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had dinner here last night. I had the oyster mushroom and he had the double beef. Both were excellent! For a vegan broth the mushroom soup had a very rich, deep flavour. The noodles were also delicous. The portions are very generous. We had not been there before and the waitress took the time to go through the menu with us, telling us about each dish and offering suggestions on the level of spiciness. Overall a great meal at a great price! We are already looking forward to returning!

Ive never had this style of cuisine before so when I heard it opened up I had to try. What a great first experience. The venue was very clean and modern with spacious seating. The hostesses were very friendly and hospitable. Now the food. Super savoury,highly customizable and just delicious. I had the beef double up (medium spicy) and the shank with tripe on chili sauce. Both were superb. You know what the great thing is? This place is literally down the street! Looking forward to repeated visits and trying out everything on the menu! If the owner is reading this. This is where to get some authentic Chinese cuisine in Ajax. It being our tables first time there we went with our server Charitys personal favourite, the hongshao braised beef, it was wonderful, would also highly recommend. We also got a side of the mala spicy beef jerky that had a great balance of spicy and numbing. Overall great authentic Chinese flavours and a great service staff. Will definitely be returning.

I did not know what to expect but I really enjoyed the Triple Beef that I ordered. I enjoy spicy food but after discussing with the waitress she recommended mild. She was right, mild was closer to a medium elsewhere. It was delicious, rich in flavours and I loved it.

YESSS! Finally an authentic, delicious, Chinese noodle soup place in Durham! Dont need to drive out to Scarborough or Markham for this craving now. Our whole family, including our littles, loved every bite! Sorry no pictures as we inhaled it. I loved my tomato based soup with rice noodles - the noodles were bouncy, soup was hearty, and the meat was so tender. Hubby got the triple meat lovers which he loved - on the spicy side and the lady recommended soup on the side and pouring it in halfway through the meal or something of the sort. Kids had a regular, non-spicy beef noodle dish they recommended, and we customized with only choy and no other garnishes. Daughter said a few pieces of the beef were a bit on the chewier side, but still enjoyed it. Plenty of space to sit comfortably. They had a highchair but no change table in the bathroom which wed recommend for the owners. Other than that, 10/10, would highly recommend and wed definitely go back! Maybe tomorrow...! Lol

It was sooo flavorful we loved it

Found the broth way too salty, but noodles tasty. The portions are massive. Went back after 2 months later to try again and wanted a croissant with pork belly. It was not available. Then asked for spicy jerk...not available. We asked what was available croissant wise, the guy at the counter wasnt sure. We werent impressed and left. Maybe put stickers to let customers know whats not available that day on the board so theyre not wasting their time?! Wont be back.

Attended this noodle House to give a try. I attended based on hype from friends and reading some reviews, and it did not live up to it. I tried the recommended beef noodle. The beef was tough like cardboard, when after soaking in soup. The noodle is spicy, but its an oily soup spice which mainland China is known for. I find adding spice does not makeup for flavor. The Mrs also tried another recommended noodle and had the same experience. My friend from mainland China had the same noodle as myself and had a similar experience. The kitchen is semi open and can see the cooks. Which explained our food experience. Authentic Hunan noodle cooked by Caucasian and South Asian cooks. The noodle and ingredients may have been authentic, but not the cooking style. I cannot recommend it.

The Triple Meat Lover soup was so delicious and full of flavour! I also had the beef shank and tripe in chilli sauce which was not too numbing, and went well with the peanut garnish. I ll definitely come again! Food : 5/5

Great food and amazing establishment

Reasonable prices for a delicious bowl of noodles! I had the spicy beef loin and ordered the soup on the side. I suggest having it on the side as you can control how it will taste as you eat your noodles. I enjoyed this dining experience! Definitely a good date spot, has the aethestic of a local chinese spot with the decors and wood finishes. PS: Dont be scared to order the spicy options as they are not that spicy and definitely adds a kick to your bowl!

Delicious food and great service ! Kid-friendliness: We took our 13 month old daughter and found the staff very accommodating. They helped us with the high chair and provided plastic little bowls and cutlery for us to feed our daughter her dinner. This is always a concern when we choose restaurants for dinner. I m very happy the staff was so friendly and acknowledged our daughter when they walked by giving a great distraction for us to quickly eat our dinner.

Above and beyond customer service. Food is excellent except - most of the noodle soups are very spicy. If you enjoy spicy food than this restaurant is definitely for you!!! Plenty of parking,! Very nice and clean environment!!! My family will be back again!!!

Delicious rice noodles. Their vegan oyster mushroom option is fantastic. I also love the demon egg tofu - it s quite addictive. Vegetarian options: Vegan mushroom option is good

We ordered the meat lover triple beef bowl and the minced pork bowl. The food was delicious. I recommend, as other have as well, to have the broth on the side. Have the bowl of noodles and then try some with the broth. It depends on your mood...soup or bowl of delicious noodles. We have never tasted anything like this before. We will definitely be back to try other menu items.

Ordered delivery, did not come with extra noodles & there was also not enough soup. The flavour was just alright, overall I would rather make the drive to Yunshang rice noodle in Markham if I had a craving I needed to satisfy.

Authentic Chinese beef noodles and more. The flavoirs meet all expectations and more. The service is welcoming and warm. And the restaurants clean and spacious. Highly recommend red bean desert made in house. Lovely expiriance, we will be back.

Have been multiple times now and am more impressed every visit, the interior is a welcoming and warm place with smiling staff ready to help. I have been a sucker for their organic oyster mushroom soup, it is so comforting and delicious!! Also tried the spicy jerk soup which is perfectly spicy and savoury, the spring rolls are crispy and perfect! Very happy to have a new gem for unique and incredibly yummy soup & more right in Ajax!! It is a must try, you will not be disappointed!

Spicy beef noodles hit the spot - great flavour! Tea egg and braised beef rice was delicious as well - taste very home-y. Big portions! Service was great the staff were very sweet and called to check that the food was okay because there was a little wait for one of the items (which they told us about). Will be coming back again!

Within 6 weeks we were there 5 times. Comfort foods at its best. Reasonable price. Friendly service.

I have ordered by delivery Numbing spicy cold cut chicken . Most of them are BONE. Very disappointed . There wont be a next time

Big fan! Brought my family here and we had tried different noodles. Really enjoyed the wheat noodles. Love that theres an option to have soup in or on the side! Theres also free refill on broth and noodles. The peach sparkling boba was a little pricey for what you get but it was good. Looking forward to coming back to try the croissant sandwiches
