One of the best food spots in ajax, their sandwiches are so delicious and their location is perfect for a date or a more quiet type of day. Definitely try this spot if you have the chance!
I ordered the jerk chicken quesadilla from J's Place and was a bit disappointed with the portion size. For over $10, the quesadillas were quite flat with barely any meat inside. While the flavor was really good, the portion just didn't seem worth the price. Hoping they can improve on this in the future.
Mannnnnnnnnn don’t even get me started!!! Just discovered this jawn after work trying to get some good food and fell upon this spot!! I knew by the pictures and review it was going to be nice……so I ordered the wings, the mac with cornbread and was not disappointed!!! They really throw it down over there fr🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Best rasta pasta, Mac n cheese, and jerk chicken quesadillas we’ve ever had! Very authentic and reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back to try out more items on the menu!
The food was not good and most of my order was wrong. I ordered a jerk chicken stuffed patty with mayo and peppers. I got a beef patty. The only thing i could taste is mayo and lettuce. I ordered the rasta pasta, which was very dry and flavourless. Jerk chicken sandwich was okay but i would not order it again. Owners are sweet but the food is definitely a no if you’re looking for authentic flavourful food.
I have now purchased food from J’s for the 3rd time. The first order of Rasta pasta was great and a big serving however since then I bought jerk chicken quesadilla and today jerk chicken sandwich both of which lacked any jerk seasonings and the coleslaw was bland tasting. They need to step up with the jerk seasoning!
Disclaimer: This is just my own opinion. I ordered honey garlic wings with sides of mac 'n' cheese and coleslaw. The honey garlic tasted like Schneider's Honey Garlic Wings that you would buy from the grocery store. The mac 'n' cheese tasted like the recipe came from online sources like Allrecipes and seemed like something anyone could make. Which isn’t bad, but you would expect better quality from a restaurant. The coleslaw, on the other hand, lacked flavor. If you're craving soul food and don't want to drive all the way to get the best soul food at Dav’s Hotspot in Mississauga, then this place is an option.
Very nice people and very yummy food! I’ve been waiting for this shop to reopen since COVID, and although it’s not the same food, it is just as good 😊 very cheap as well!

The place is quaint however the jerk chicken sandwich left a lot to be desired and the Mac and cheese needed salt. Maybe try other product offerings when you visit!
Food is very tasty. Good amount for thr price. Presentation is excellent, even for the take out!

I absolutely loved my meal at Js! Honey garlic wings were perfectly cooked, and the mac n cheese was the best Ive had. Highly recommend!
Got the Jerk quesadilla, it was good overall. I just prefer more pepper in my jerk and more smokey jerk flavour. Maybe if there was a side jerk pepper sauce for people who prefer a little more spice. I ll be back.

Had there quesadillas with Rasta pasta and Cole slaw which was along side with the jerk sandwich and had a strong jerk seasoning over the pasta was really goood.
It is an amazing establishment, with incredible food and very polite workers! 10/10 food, would and are recommending this to others who enjoy real soul carribean food! Vegetarian options: Theres salad, and veggie optiosn for the food given. Kid-friendliness: A safe, colourful, and welcoming place! Wheelchair accessibility: There are two possible entrances that allow wheelchair accessibility.
The food is amazing! I have no complaints there. The wings and Mac and cheese is my favourite. And the corn bread omg! The staff is so polite and welcoming. I also got a chance to meet the owner 25 year old black Queen. It s a 10/10 for me! I would recommend to all!
My goodness, I m not one to write reviews but for this place I had to!! Absolutely loved the environment, loved the service and more importantly loved the food. I had the wings and they were amazing, definitely will be back to try more things on the menu.

Caribbean soul food in Ajax I was like, it s a must to try this place out! I got the Rasta pasta with corn bread and garlic parmesan chicken wings. Everything taste like MORE (lol) the flavour was on point. Best part is I didn t have to wait to long for the food to be prepared. This place has been added to my go to places when I need some good tasting food right away! Definitely recommend this place! Parking: There are lots of places to park. Kid-friendliness: The staff is super welcoming!

First off the service was phenomenal, the energy was great, very respectful and very helpful with the menu. The food was absolutely amazing, the wings are top tier and the rasta pasta is to die for.I also had the jerk quesadillas and I had to get seconds lol. Will be coming back very soon, I definitely recommend this place if you love GREAT food.
Me and my friend stopped by here today and we absolutely loved the food! But I must say the shrimp Rasta Pasta is my favourite, you have to try this place!!

I love this new spot located in Pickering village! They have a really great menu and awesome customer service. I love their chicken wings, Mac n cheese and Rasta pasta. Not to mention they have really good natural juices. You won t be disappointed!!

This Restaurant is EXACTLY what the pickering village has been needing! 1) The owners are super friendly, 2) The restaurant is always super clean, 3) The staff are friendly 4) The food is just absolutely delicious! 5) The prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are pretty large!
