Really it doesnt have an atmosphere, as its a take out place. There are tables and its always clean. When we visit Alliston, we make a point of ordering out.

Although I enjoyed the food I will NOT return because it is way too expensive. Every dish is almost $25 . Prices would have to come down $8-9 for me to return. Sorry

This place is awesome The dishes used to have a great portion size and is done to perfection no fast food here. I would definitely go again for sure even though as you can see in some of the photos the portion sizes are now half of what they used to be . UPDATE not very truck driver friendly concerning lunch special. Very strict with time.

I will give them a 2 because the food is what you d expect from a fast food Chinese food place (otherwise it would be 1). We have been ordering from them for as long as they have been opened. I understand the price of everything has gone up but what you get in the individual meals is MOSTLY rice. To more than double the price of an individual meal to well over $20 is ridiculous. The portion of chicken balls and whatever else you choose does not equate to even close to justifying that. Sorry we will be going elsewhere. Even if the drive is 20 minutes there and 20 back. Unfortunately it s worth it.

On 23,2023 March I ordered chicken balls and egg rolls.Upon opening the packages at home,both items looked very brown[overcooked?].The food appeared very greasy,and had a distinct unappealing aroma.This is the first time we have not eaten all of China Woks food.Iwill not go back

Excellent quality! The meat used in all the dishes we ordered was clearly prepared with a lot of care. The chicken balls are all meat, almost no breading! Amazing! It s not cheap, but the portions are large and qualify excellent. Happy to have found this local place!

Im a food guy n wouldnt lie about what i est n chinese food is one food u want good when u order. We ordered $150 worth of food fed 8 people had lots of leftovers n not one bad dish! Dont know if we had the right cook that night but coming from Toronto where ive had alot of goid chinese food over the years i rate my first experience here in my top 3 of all time! Try them out u wont b disappointed.

This by far was the WORST Chinese food myself & my entire family have ever eaten!!!!! I couldnt believe how much we had to pay, the staff would only let us change 2 items in the largest dinner option , and with the amount of food we were ordering I feel they could have allowed us to make a few more changes in the items. Then when I went to pick up our order I wasnt greeted by one friendly person!! But the worst experience about ordering from China Wok was their food!! Omg there wasnt one item that we ordered that tasted good!! We ended up throwing up 90% of our food, and I order was over $100... I have never wasted that much food, but it was that bad I will NEVER order from this place again, and I have definitely not recommended it to anyone , the complete opposite, we have actually warned friends & family to NOT go to China Wok. I would love to know if anyone knows of a GOOD Chinese place to order from in the general area? We just moved to Everett and were big Chinese food fans , but we definitely not had a good experience trying this place Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! We will absolutely NOT returning to China Wok .

They never mix fish and non fish items in the fryer, I like that. They are really quick unless they are overwhelmed with orders which is understandable being the best Chinese food restaurant in Alliston. The only issue i have so far is the price of sweet and sour wontons The 8 small fried wontons are hardly worth $9.50. Other than that price is acceptable. If the price was lower they wouldnt be able to keep up with the demand. People writing negative reviews for slow service need to think about the restaurant business a bit harder.

I really enjoy this place. Large, fresh meals and have always been on time. 25 minutes is often more like 15 or 20 so no need to venture far if waiting. Only complaint would be sometimes, the Chicken Balls can have an heavy oil taste, maybe from oil being a bit older.

Last night we ordered from here we like them the food is usually excellent however he last two times the customer service is not great at all. A few months ago they were late and we got our food an hour after the time given to us. Then last night they accidentally gave our order to someone else and claimed they did not have my number for any order. I showed them my phone, They said 20 minutes to redo. I came back half and hour later. Not a tiny discount offered. When I enquired about a discount I was told no full price. Sadly Ill never order from here again.

Ordered for first time on a Saturday in may..was ready when we arrived and quickly and efficiently paid..food was delicious and boxes were filled to brim and then some..would definitely recommend..we will order again from here. Nice presentation on the crab wontons too! Great job chefs !

Food is awesome here! I recommend pepper steak, chicken balls and the vegetable egg noodles.

Prices are going up and up more then gas prices and portions smaller.Ive been going here since they opened.We need a Chinese restaurant that the owner doesnt want to get rich quick. Chicken balls are good but the portion is half the size and the price increased substantially and please stop saying its the gas prices. If it is the gas prices then raise the price but don.t double dip by making portions half the size

China Wok is great. I recomm2nd the Chicken Starfry Rice and Chicken balls. Only when Ive ordered during busy times has the food been less perfect so if ordering make sure not the dinner rush as some items Ive had were under cooked. But definately my favorite for Chinese food.

Slightly more expensive than your average Chinese food place, but you get twice the food. One combo meal is enough to feed two hungry people. Highly recommend the fried dumplings.

ASKED TO PAY MORE FOR MY MEAL an was refused cause they want me to buy double in a time of a pandemic no one should be forcing people to spend more money for there benefit a lunch special is 11 dollars but I was told to pay 20+ for shrimp fried race a wings im for out of town an will never be coming back.

Not recommend! Extremly unprofessionally. The first time I ordered it was a difficult progress as they didn t seem familiar with their own menu and were quite rude (where the lady raises her voice unnecessarily). However food was okay (6/10- not as fresh as other places but okay). The second time (and now my final time), very unprofessional. The lady who picked up was unfamiliar with the menu. When asking about a specific size (how many people a specific meal feed), she raised her voice and repsonded look, the container is from the dollar store! It s a platter! and then I was all of a sudden speaking with a male (without warning), he was however able to clarify specifics. When completing my order I was forwarded to the lady once again. When adding an additional item, I asked for further clarification on prices as the menu does not include prices. She followed in raising her voice and responded I don t understand why you are asking me this! . I immediately decided to end the call. Unfortunately these two times led to very unsatisfactory experiences and would strongly recommend to not purchase from China Wok.

Excellent tasting Chinese food. We just moved to town and found this place. Our new go to spot for Friday night Chinese food. Portions were also huge!

I read the menu to decide what I wanted before calling. I wrote down the order by item numbers and called. They answered promptly and politely. They understood and repeated my order back to me and told me the cost and time frame in which I could pick it up. The cost was surprisingly high but the food was great. Not salty, not stale. Large portions. Overall, a great experience. I marked them down by one point because their pricing is not available online. I ll definitely order again.

Who doesnt like free chicken wings?

I dont know who these people think they are... I can understand that during covid times things are difficult to navigate as a business owner, being one myself. Unfortunately this place seems to think they can screw up the ONE THING youd expect every Chinese person to know how to cook correctly, let alone serve it. THE RICE! Something as cheap as rice theyre cutting corners on their cost by mixing old in with new. After paying the covid time premium for pick up food and also, paying a generous 20% tip out of courtesy (not knowing the quality of food prior), they expect me to bring them back food? Delirious.

Singapore noodles used to be the best around now the worst ,whoever they have preparing this dish ,thay need to have a sit down cause their ----ing up bad.

The food is amazing. Favorites are the vegetable spring rolls, beef and broccoli, chicken balls, and Singapore noodles. The chicken and mixed vegetables was not that good and its more expensive then other Chinese places iv been too but over all very pleased with china wok.

I was disappointed to see multiple family members not wearing masks, this is a tough review as we dont order out very often and their food is amazing. We had to walk away from our order and will not be back.

Amazing food!! I ordered dinner from here for my birthday and all of my guests said it was the best Chinese food they ve had.

Ordered online tonight at 5PM. Said to pick it up in 25 mins. Went to pick it up..the guy was very rude. Said he didnt have the order. Showed him the confirmation number. Again said, I dont have it. Asked if we could order it now. He said itll be 1.5 hour wait. Funny considering 25 mins ago it was a 25 minute wait. We usually love ordering from China Wok but that guy didnt even attempt to resolve the situation.

Still waiting for the food we ordered at 4pm...huge lineup and to make it worse no special if I pay cash.... Second year in a row its been like this...new years eve or not.... Food is great.. but not very good with getting orders on time.

Gross. There wasnt any sauses ( plum/soy). The spring rolls were burnt and what ever it was inside it was mushy. I wont eat there again.

Yoooo this is some great Chinese food. Amazing portions, especially the combination plates. And taste great. Even though it takes 30 minutes to get there, this is our new Chinese spot.

We always order from this place, the food is good but...their phone manners are lacking in every way possible, their online menu doesnt list prices but their identical in store menu does! A little sneaky... Ill be driving to Barrie next time.

Very good quality sesame chicken and chicken balls

Its a little bit pricier than some Chinese food places but they are very generous with the meat in their dishes and they give big portions Their Singapore noodles have lots of meat. Most places you have to choose either chicken or pork or shrimp whereas here it comes standard with all of the above. Well worth the price.

Very poor customer service, ordered 2 House Special Lo Mein and one Shanghai noodles, order came to the table all the same, no difference whatsoever. When I questioned owner and her son(?) came claiming they are different things (clearly all lo mein noodles, chicken, pork and shrimps). Definitely will not come back again. If you made a mistake, admit it!

I honestly never have any issues with this place, staff is usually pretty nice to me and food is always excellent. :) it is a bit pricey but imo its worth it.

I would not recommend this place at all. Im assuming most of the positive comments are not genuine. I tried ordering food over the phone, the lady was very rude. Treated me like I was an idiot. Terrible service in-store, and almost a 50 minute wait time for an order...on a Wednesday night. Very disappointing.

These lazy restaurant owners who advertise delivery wont deliver to Alliston folk living in the Green Briar/Treetops area. Nice.

I got a combo for 1 meal and I think I got 2 and a half meals out if it. When I saw how much food I got for the low price I paid, I expected it to be really bad, but it wasnt. It wasnt the best Chinese food Ive ever had, by far, but for the price, I was thoroughly impressed.

They have the best chicken balls Ive ever had. The chicken is fresh white meat, the batter is thin and just coats the piece of chicken in its shape. Not like other restaurants where the piece of chicken is coated in a very thick batter in the shape of a ball. The rest of their dishes are good, vegetables are always fresh. The service needs some work on friendliness and the prices are a bit high.

The front server was the rudest young lady I have ever met if u can call her that.

This was the worst $40 we have ever spent. Singapore noodles didnt have the right flavor and neither did the hot and sour soup. Tsos chicken was alright and the spring roles were off. I would never go back. I do not recomend this place to anyone.
