First time being at this restaurant, I ordered a wagyu burger and a prime rib burger. 1 with fries and drink, other with poutine and beer. Came to $73, plus 15% tip. The staff would talk to other customers and ask how the food was, never came to us. Expected that a tip was mandatory and went along with there day. Paying $85 for wagyu and prime rib burger, youd think your burger would have some taste. Very plain tasting. Pulled pork poutine was delicious, we asked for a small and server couldnt even tell us they dont have small or even let us know that it is a good size meal itself. In the end, weak customer service and premium burgers had no taste. At least when you go to FIVE GUYS, you can justify the cost somewhat for taste wise. A whopper from BK tasted better than your burgers. I wont be back!

Great burger and onion rings!

Had the bacon cheeseburger poutine, absolutely amazing. The ingredients were mixed throughout the poutine and not just on top. They have single milkshake flavours or they can be mixed. I mixed the strawberry and banana together and it was a fantastic milkshake. Service was friendly and accommodating.

I have frequented this Champ burger in Alliston and have tried most things on the menu. WOW, everything has been beyond good. I have 0 complaints. The staff is friendly, the food is always fresh to order. I am thrilled with this location and its always my first choice when my partner asks what we want if we are doing take out in Alliston. I recommend calling ahead, because they use fresh ingredients, it does take more time than your average place but its worth the bit of time it takes. Thank you for the great food, Champ team! Updating my review in 2024. Food continues to impress! You hire great staff with good customer service and great manners.

A chic establishment, the food tastes like in the best Ukrainian tavern, the attitude of the staff is at the same level, after almost a year of living in Canada, this is the best establishment that I have already visited (I only eat out) I definitely recommend it!!

Great little burger spot in the heart of Alliston! Forget about McDonalds, Wendys, Harveys, etc. For the same price you can get a great burger and 10X better quality and taste. Food was delicious, fresh, and made to order, and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend!!

I chose this place to go to with my family. They have a solid selection of hamburgers as one could imagine, and we got a few different ones. The waygu champ, banquet, and prime rib. They were all very good, but if you asked me which one was which I would not have guessed correctly (they tasted very similar). We also got the frings and a couple milkshakes which I thought topped the experience off well. I wouldn t say it was amazing here, but good enough!

Champ Burger is truly an exemplary business! The place is always clean, food fresh and delicious and customer service impeccable. There is usually a bunch of younger kids on staff and they are always so polite, professional and hard working! Im not sure if they have a magic training regime or just hire the best people but either way, its great!

Came in with a large family (lots of young kids) and had a wonderful experience. I unfortunately did not get the name of the person at register (dark beard and glasses) but they were extremely courteous and had great suggestions when we had lots of questions our server had long blonde hair and was very nice as well. Food was delicious as well ! What a great menu of different options for all tastes- veg and GF too.

I was taking time to see how the area is for one of my buyer clients that were considering buying in this neighbourhood, so i stopped by at this burger spot. Being my first time there, the server and one of the cooks helped me choose the burger and toppings and some of the other patrons also made some great suggestions. Everyone was very nice and the food was fantastic. I literally had a conversation with multiple tables of people. The employees are great and so are the people that live in the area. I had a great time, learned so much about the area while enjoying an amazing burger and fries. Thank you for a great time!

Great atmosphere, clean tables, and my Greek burger was fantastic! I didnt enjoy the fries, BUT its definitely because it was new fry oil, and I just dont enjoy new oil, thats just my preference. On the bright side, they clean their oil often Its been three years, so I gave it another go..and have now had their fries twice this week! Theyre the best in town. Best of all, I saw our teen train enthusiasts having a safe space to cool off, to an alliston lifer, thats a big deal

If youre looking for a burger done the right way, look no further. The burgers and fries here are simply perfect. They dont have the most exotic toppings, or the largest variation, but what they do have is a burger that is incredibly tasty and perfectly seasoned, on a bun that absorbs the juice without being soggy, and fries that are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Its just food done the right way!

This burger beats the Chip wagon spot I used to go to! The burger, I gulped up in a few bites. So satisfying and hit all the right spots. Juicy and wrapped in an aluminum foil to keep it warm. I love that condiments are put in for you, no need to deal with a condiment station full of flies. 3 tv screens and chill music. All around a 5. Great prices too! Kid-friendliness: Appropriate space for toddlers and children.

I just recently visited this place for Lunch with a friend. I had a Chesseburger and we ordered Fries and Onion rings. I have to say the food was great. Even through we had to wait a little longer, because of the School Program lunch which is understandable, the service was good. I think its awesome to see businesses pulling together to help out the kids in School to meet their needs for food. If you are up to a great lunch, I recommend checking out this place.

Small place so not a lot of seating, but great burgers. Plus craft brews on tap! Wish I were closer and Id be here all the time. They have a burger for everyone, and the fries are delicious. Staff was friendly and service was quick.

The Poutine was incredible.. finally someone who gets you need very hot gravy to melt real cheese curds!!! Full cheese pull on every bite! High suggest this place! They have burger choices for everyone, great fries, and yes - awesome poutine. If youre in the mood, they have some suds on tap! Staff is friendly and the place looks great. So we tried this place out today, pretty happy with the overall quality of the food. Service was great, but for 2 adults and one kid it was a bit expensive for 2 burgers and a hot dog.

Champ Burger Alliston is stellar! I deeply love this place. The care the owners and staff show for the everyday life and vibe of the customer experience is unmatched, and if you re lucky to have a conversation with them, you ll know exactly what I mean. My time here is consistently excellent. The folks make you feel seen and feed you well. While my personal favourites are the chicken thigh honey hot sandwich with those special pickles (YUM) and the prime rib burger with jalapeños (also YUM), there are so many options that it s always exciting deciding what Ill try next. They also give the best recommendations for drink pairing. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. Living in small town Ontario is forever made better because of Champs. Thank you, people!!

The best of boss foods, a stoners dream

If youve never travelled much outside of Alliston then I suppose you would think this place was great. But for our family of 5, we felt it was average tasting and waaay overpriced. My fathers bill for him, my brother and his wife was a whopping $73 and that was just 2 burgers 2 fries an onion ring and a small salad with only 2 drinks. Add our 2 cheeseburgers and fries ($28) for a grand total of $101 and we even bailed on the fountain drinks because we had drinks in our car. The Ceasar salad was too small for $9+ change. The fries were dry and their fryer needs an oil change. The burgers tasted like previously frozen patty. The cheese did taste like cheddar. Now I get that people around here have a limited selection but the people should really take the time to experience burgers outside of Alliston. Only then can they honestly give a fact based objective review of this place. As for us...we walked out feeling gouged. Replace the a in Champ with a u and that just about sums up how we felt. Also the mens washroom was filthy.

I got a Wagyu burger with everything on it and fries. The fries were the perfect shade of light brown, had the perfect amount of crisp and had the perfect amount of salt. The burger not only tasted amazing, but it was built perfectly, barely anything fell out. It also looked beautiful. 10/10

I tried to order take out over the phone. The girl said please hold and put the phone down on the counter. I heard her take an order from a customer and waited approximately 5 minutes. I thought after the order was done she was going to pick up the phone and take my order. She then proceeded to take the next person order while I was waiting on the phone. This was now over seven minutes and I hung up.

Banquet Burger Amazing

The workers were super friendly! He helped me pick out to make sure what Im getting is vegan was very knowledgeable about the subject! He came and cleared the table and we chatted about the food. I will definitely be going again great vegetarian/vegan selection food was amazing!

Wonderful homemade burger with fresh toppings, the self serve fountain pop was a great addition too! The total cost for 2 of us to grab a burger and drink with tip was as budget friendly as weve found. Food came out superfast and the server was kind enough to bring it out to the patio for us. All in all, a fantastic place to grab some takeout and certainly equal to, if not better to the quality of the former Bistro Burger the community loved so much.

Yesterday while visiting Alliston I had the pleasure of grabbing a double champ burger deluxe. And let me tell you it was one of the best burgers I ve ever tasted. Having a limited diet, there aren t many options available to me. So I typically stick with a burger joint to appease the tummy while on the go. Am I ever glad this place was recommended to me!! Two 6 Oz burger patties, topped with cheese & bacon (hold the bun), and I swear I was in Heaven. I made a comment to the owner, that if THIS burger impressed me, I would write a positive review. I believe in spreading positivity, especially if I ve had a good experience someplace! Well buddy, here you go! Everyone needs to try this place! I generally love their burger. I would say it is the best burgers I have at any point in my life until now. The owner takes pride in cooking and he is very good at his business, failed to remember his name sorry. Additionally they have great brews.

I came in after the lunch hour was done, so its no surprise that it wasnt too busy. I like short waits. A customer before me seemed to be a regular and said the wagyu was great so I went with that combo, upgraded the fries to a medium poutine. The girl helping me, Sophie, was awesome. She probably deserves a raise for her great service. I like that they gave the option for how cooked I wanted the patty to be. Of course medium rare. Everything tastes great. Poutine was perfect. The wagyu I would have preferred if it were cooked over a charcoal flame to get that high heat slight bit of char with the pink juicy middle, but either way it was cooked properly. This isnt a cheap meal, but wagyu is a premium meat, so it is what it is.
