I see a lot of very good reviews for this restaurant unfortunately, I did not have a good one order some bruschetta, and I also ordered some pasta which looked good, but as I tried to eat, it found two long large hairs in my food all wrapped around and then unfortunately lost my appetite it took also a long time to get served and so I ended up losing my whole appetite overall, not a good experience at all never will go back again , thank you !!! Never

This review is Long overdue! Da Grazia never fails to satisfy on every level. Service is next to none; thank you for being so accommodating and friendly Teresa. Quality of ingredients and preparation; like my mother used to make Tonight we had pizza; the Diavolo and the Ortolano; the crust is out of this world. But the Frittura di Pesce Misto is unrivalled. Atmosphere; we like the patio but indoors is very lovely. The families dining with young children were taken care of without effort. Thank you, we look forward to our next visit!

Garbage. Food at the race track is better. You can t even order spaghetti and meatballs, you have to order pasta with a side of meatballs and they were still all undercooked. Some peoples kids honestly

I went to daGrazia for lunch around 3pm on a Thursday. The restaurant was completely empty so I thought the service would be good being that there were a few servers on duty. I sat for half and hour before the bread was served with a tiny tablespoon of a dollop of oil and balsamic vinegar. By this time I was feeling very hungry. I then waited another 20 minutes for the house salad to be served which was the tiniest portion with only a few arugula leaves, no vegetables and some dressing. I was very ready for the main course which took another 15 minutes after the house salad to finally be served. I had ordered a pasta dish which ended up being probably half the size of a regular portion of food. The meal ended up costing close to $50 with tax and tip for almost no food and absolutely no service. It was very disappointing, I surely will not be returning.

Just sat down on the patio and was offered water. Sat there for at least 15 minutes without any further acknowledgment. Finally got up and left. Disappointed.

Great place never disappoints

I ve been ordering from De Grazia for the last couple years, recently I have noticed the woman at the front has a bad attitude and made me wait an additional 30 mins because I didn t tip for takeout. While I understand tipping if I m sitting down and being served, I shouldn t be treated bad for not tipping to pick up food. Absolutely ridiculous, horrendous service.

Amazing Gnocchi, the waitstaff were extremely friendly. Had Tiramisu for dessert and forgot to take a picture of it because I ate it so fast. 10/10. Will definitely be back for another fantastic dinner. Parking: Ample parking both on the street and behind the restaurant.

Nice Italian restaurant. The bread they use is freshly baked every morning, and the pasta and pizza dough are amazing. We tried some basic dishes because it was our first time here, and they were very tasty. Will be back again.

Service and atmosphere was amazing as usual. I ve been here for lunch many times, and never disappointed, Eggplant Parmigiana is always my favourite, Arugula salad is delicious. Crostone Antipasti!!! So good! Going for dinner you have to get the crème brûlée dessert!

Over the March break we travelled to the area with the kids and were looking for a lunch off of the resort we were staying at. This place was amazing! My daughter(8) still talks about the gnocchi. The staff were friendly, attentive and professional. We can t wait to go back to try the pizza! Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly in an upscale/casual atmosphere very welcoming.

Good Italian, but a little uneven. At their best with their soup, pizza, and pasta with a good wine list that suits the menu. The Caesar salad and arancini were good, but don t quite measure up to what we ve experienced elsewhere. The bruschetta would have been better if the bread was grilled first. Nice desserts and espresso to finish the meal. Good service. If you re in Alliston, it s worth visiting. Parking: Street parking is available and free.

Stopped in after a day of shopping at Tanger Mall. From the friendly greeting by Liz, to the outstanding chef prepared dining experience, we can only say, don t miss this gem of a restaurant! We will certainly be back!!

Server didn t know the specials, food tasted like a cafeteria had the lasagne inside was very nice. Waited quite a long time and was served 3 small pieces of bread with a bowl of evoo and balsamic for 2 people. Wasn t impressed at all.

We always have a lovely meal and great service at daGrazia. But unfortunately, it is being priced out of our budget. We ordered the special, which was steak. No wine, drinks, dessert or appetizers. Our bill was $110.00 before tax. We were fortunate that we had a $120.00 gift certificate. But even with tax and tip we were close to $145.00.

Food was GREAT...Sat on the patio and enjoyed the OG downtown...

I attended a reception for a baptism this past Sunday. The food was amazing! The calamari was one of the best Ive ever tasted. The pasta sauce was authentic Italian... and the Provini Veal Scallopine in a lemon sauce was so tender, you didnt need the knife to cut it. The staff was so hospitable and I would thoroughly recommend DaGrazia for your dining experience or for a reception.

My friend and I go to Alliston twice a year and always go to this restaurant for lunch. Always great food and amazing service. Marjorie is the best server I have ever seen when it comes to taking care of your order and any needs you have. She is courteous, professional and always pleasant to speak with. She truly makes daGrazia shine. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

The pasta is incredible

Took my daughter. She had pizza .I had steak and ceasaer salad. Sat out on the patio. It was excellent.

We have been going to this restaurant for many years. Went there for dinner today the Lasagna was dry burnt noodles no sauce very disappointing. We will not be going back.

A cozy restaurant with amazing service and delicious food. All the staff were very friendly and everything we ordered was amazing. The pizza was perfect. We will definitely be going back to try more stuff on the menu.

We went for dinner to celebrate my wifes birthday with my mom. Caroline was our server and did a fantastic job even on a busy night. The food was great. My mom had the ortolana pizza, my wife had the lasagna and I had the sapprozeti. Even was delicious, and Im really glad I had the sapprozeti. We finished things off with the creme Catalana (me) and a chocolate mousse (my wife). They were a great finisher. Overall, it was a wonderful evening!

I ve been to this restaurant several times and the service and food have always been exceptional, my last visit was a little disappointing we ordered the Saltimbocca, it was just a sad little portion, nicely prepared but very small on the other hand the Calamari was awesome as was all other aspects of our meal.

This place is bogus at best. I dont even live there yet and based on my wifes experience last night not only do I not want to go but I do not want to recommend this place for any reason. My wife went with a party of 8. Made a reservation for 7 pm. She was seated promptly. Drink orders were taken after 20 minutes. Only water was given when seated. No bread or anything to snack on while waiting. Server took appetizer order at 8 pm, along with entree order at the request of another agitated party member. Bread was asked for at 8 brought out a few minutes later. Appetizers took approximately 20 minutes to come to the table. It took another 30-40 minutes for the entree to come to the table. When the entree came to the table my wifes entree was forgotten while all other members had their meals. Food was ok. The salmon was cooked well and tasted delicious. Vegetables were undercooked and tasteless. Especially given the price of the meal, which the menu had no display of any entree prices, the quality and portion size definitely did not reflect the price of the meal. The atmosphere was cramped. Tables were situated in a way where other guests interfered with other patrons when getting out of there chair. Other diners were visibly annoyed when my wife had to get out of her chair because it was difficult to move with the space provided. Very overcrowded atmosphere. The volume of the music was too loud. Didnt make for a comfortable or private experience. She was able to hear other conversations at other tables behind her but not from people in her party at the end of the table. Lighting was appropriate. Place was clean.

Went for a bridal shower, and the food was amazing. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves, so I cant really evaluate on regular service (why only 4 stars), but the staff that were there for the event we quick and efficient. Definitely want to try them again

The service here was AMAZING. They sought to cater to my sibling s allergies to the best of their ability. When the meal they ordered was a bit too spicy for their taste they made a new dish that she could handle with no complaints. This place has the service attitude. It definitely lead us to believe that our business was appreciated and welcome. It was a happy accident that we ran in here and we will definitely come again. Kid-friendliness: The kids were welcome and well tended to.

I ordered the Lasagna. It was a large pice of lasagna, if it was bigger I d still eat it. No regrets!

Had a delightful lunch today with some friends. The food and service were both excellent. We loved the intimate atmosphere and ambiance of the tastefully decorated restaurant. This restaurant is a real gem in Alliston and definitely worth looking into.

The seafood linguine was amazing the pasta was al dente and the white wine sauce devine.

If I could leave 6 stars I would! Ive visited daGrazia on many occasions and its never disappointing. Today I have sea bass, with roasted potatoes and cherry tomatoes, and olives. This was hands down the best sea bass Ive ever eaten! Highly recommended! The service is excellent! I have to boast about the level of detail and attention given in every aspect. Definitely surpasses my expectations! Buon appetito!!!!

We enjoyed dinner here with our daughters while our son was in the area for a hockey tournament. Modern decor, very good Italian food and attentive service.

My wife and I stopped in to have a bite while we waited to pick up our kids. We were seated even though we had no reservations. Our server Maria came over and welcomed us in as well as explaining the evenings features. Since we had not been there before we decided to order simply. Mussels and an arugula salad to start, followed by two pizzas. Shortly after ordering Maria our server brought over some olive oil and good bread. After about 20min our apps came. The mussels were very fresh and delicious. Not over cooked. The arugula salad was as well very fresh. Then here come the pizzas. WOW... thats the only word that came out of my mouth besides mmmmmm....... The dough was one of the best I have ever had. The toppings so fresh and aromatic. Believe me when I tell you. I know Italian food and pizza. My family was in the restaurant business for over 26 years. Two thumbs up. We will be back to try more of the menu.

We ate at daGrazia on our first inside visit to a restaurant in almost 4 months. The food was excellent, the service was the best; friendly and attentive, the mask and covid protocols were followed and we felt comfortable being there. We will be returning soon! Months later. Late spring 2022. It has been more than half a year since we have dined in at a restaurant. In that time we did curbside takeout, mostly from da Grazia. This evening we again dined in at da Grazia. We had a nice table in the sidewalk café. It was a pleasant, warm spot cordoned off from the street traffic. If anything, the meal was probably one of the best since we have been patronizing this restaurant. We are glad that da Grazia has made it through the pandemic and is better than ever!

Food is decent but small portions swim in lots of salty sauce. Allocate time for a meal (took about 40 min. to get bread). Service is very slow and wait staff seems to be spread thin. Our waitress was lovely but there was not enough of them for the amount of people eating indoors/outdoors at the restaurant.

We had a wonderful time last night at deGrazia. The staff was so welcoming and friendly, the gentleman who sat us pulled my chair out for me. I felt like I was in a movie! The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. Our server was friendly and very know. The wine was perfect and meal was unbelievable! I had the gnocchi and the sauce was the best I have ever had. I cant wait to go back!

Very nice inside but the food was subpar - got the deboned fish and picked out 15 bones and probably ate another 5. Ravioli was portioned as if it was an appetizer, not an entree. Not worth the $ spent.

Fine dining in Alliston! Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Service was excellent! Food was delicious! From the cod & potato fritter (Crochette di Baccalà) and the grilled peach burrata salad to the pistachio/Dijon crusted lamb special to the house made tiramisu - yum! Have a lovely espresso to finish the meal.

My dad and I had an amazing time and such a great meal. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is out of this world. For what you pay, the quality is off the charts. Its a fraction of the cost of what similar restaurants in Toronto are charging for equal or better quality and larger portions. My only complaint is that they arent closer to my home! Cant wait for another meal there.

Phenomenal food and service.

Unfortunately over time the portions have become so much less. I understand pricing has to go up to accommodate inflation. Im happy to pay extra...but would expect the same value. Crafts of wine are no longer offed so we purchased a bottle, obviously more expensive. Canaloni is also off the menu..it was my favorite. Desert was not presented in the usual beautiful way on previous visits. Service was mediocre, we were asked by 3 polite young people if we wanted sparking or plain water...then no one brought us any...I had to ask for water....it was kind of humorous between my husband and I...like hmmm I wonder which one will bring us water. I wont be rushing back anytime soon. $200.00 with tip I would of appreciated a more pleasant experience.

Really missing the old menu. A few of our favourites are no longer. Food is now okay, used to be great. Service can be amazing but can also be mediocre. Heard someone sending their food back because it was stone cold in the centre. Just not what it used to be.

Tried this restaurant for the first time. We got takeout, two fried calzones. You have the option of having it baked as well. It was hot, flavourful and large, about 11. The dough is light and airy and the ingredients inside were delicious but I wish it was stuffed a little bit more. Two calzones came out to $34, $13 each plus $1 for each topping, quite expensive. Im interested in trying their other dishes but not for the price. The website needs to be updated as most items & prices on there are incorrect.

Staff was kind and accommodating. Atmosphere was comfortable, and the décor inside the restaurant was tasteful. My meal was fantastic. However, my husband ordered one of the specials and it was completely flavorless. He ordered a fish/potato pasta, that had great potential, but unfortunately missed the mark. So I would absolutely recommend this restaurant, but perhaps warn visitors to be weary of some of the specials that arent regular options.

Poor/rude service, small portions, forgettable flavour, and expensive. Good location. Maybe they had a bad night. Unfortunately we will not return.

Went with a party of 7 tonight, this was my second time back there and figured I d try again after the last, to my surprise it was actually worse!!! Service was mediocre to say the least and the food was absolutely horrible. Wouldn t feed it to a starving dog! The salad was about the only thing edible on our table. The ravioli tasted like it was raw and the sauce was disgusting not to mention it was smaller than an app size. The stuffed chicken wasn t even stuffed and looked like it came from a budgie!! I ve seen larger chicken wings!! The pizza was horrible!! 4 kids and 3 adults and the bill was 400.00!!!! Just an absolute rip off. I ll be sure to never return!! Dine at your own risk in this place!! Better off eating frozen foods from circle k than going here!! Definitely not a clue how to prepare and cook Italian food!!

Found every step, taste, and morsel a true treat for the palate. The service was exceptional and very helpful in touring the menu for the first time. An atmosphere that really suited our cozy dinner for two.

Beautiful and modern decor, welcoming staff and a fun dinner vibe all accompany a fantastic Italian menu. While the summer patio is one of the hottest spots in town, indoor dining is great, just be sure to to call for reservations if you want a guaranteed seat. Highly recommended, for both an intimate meal or a larger gathering of family around the table.

Not only is the food always super delicious the service is another thing I give 5 stars to, they are genuinely nice ppl and i usually order take out and the food is still so delicious by the time i get home to eat it... ive nvr had any complaints, always such a great experience, its like youre eating at a 5 star restaurant in Italy, the flavours are something ive nvr had before but im always craving now ... its the only food that when me and my family eat we look at eachother and just say wow even though we eat the same dish everytime , its that good so glad i got introduced to this place, def my go to spot when I want to take a day off of cooking or just craving some yummy healthy food

Was 8 pm and the when we initially called and they said that they were closing, however they called back and offered to stay later and make our meal if we came and picked it up right away. Ordered the Lasagna and Veal Saltimbocca and both were excellent. Staff was very friendly and we greatly appreciate them going the extra mile.

Stunning restaurant in Alliston, a little extravagant Italian eatery with the best food and amazing infrastructure. The shrimps was the best I have at any point had. Additionally praises to our young guy server that was Francesco for his astounding assistance, extremely kind and knowledgeable worker who made me the best old fashioned. I will be back again!!

Best Italian food in town!

Wonderful food. Pizza and meatballs are simply amazing

Food was delicious and great to be outside. I would recommend that they change the chairs or tables. The seating is very low making the table at chest height.

The service on the patio was great, the charcuterie tray was tasty and the libations were refreshing The background music was somewhat overwhelming. On a separate note in support of downtown businesses on Victoria...we would happily support a motion to New Tech council to prohibit large truck traffic from downtown Alliston! We have a bypass, so there is NO NEED for dump trucks, aggregate carriers, lumber transports or any such oversized, noisy, disruptive vehicles to use our quaint main street.

Its such a lovely restaurant with excellent service. If youre looking for a romantic dine-in experience this is your spot! For comparable prices to eating out at East Side Marios youll get a relaxing atmosphere, AUTHENTIC food and great staff. I would say its more of an adult place. Great to come for a work lunch or an office dinner too. Im vegetarian and got the eggplant lasagna, SO delicious.

I specially enjoyed the pizza dough, one of the best I ve tried, you can taste that it s slowly fermented. The filled pasta was al dente just how it s suppose to be. Our waiter was super friendly and polite. We will be back for sure. Great patio area too which is always a plus in the summer time.

Prices are.a.bit expensive. Service is grand and so is the food.

I ordered takeout from daGrazia Ristorante the first time. The waiter was super friendly and humorous. Linguini alto Scoglio was delicious. Hope customers can order online instead of calling.

One of the absolute best restaurants in Alliston. We highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. The staff are lovely, friendly, attentive and quick. Having been travellers throughout Italy and tasting the exquisite food, our experience every time we eat at daGrazia makes us feel like we have travelled back in time enjoying the ambiance and food in Italy. We have tried a number of items on the menu including pizzas, gnocchi, agnolotti, cannelloni, lasagna, veal, calamari, bruschetta, homemade deserts and of course the specials with fish or beef, and have never been disappointed!! Of course, not all that food in one night though its always hard to decide, but we are repeat customers for sure.

A motel manager in Alliston suggested Da Grazia. I enjoyed it so much that afterward I stopped at the front desk to thank him. The staff takes a lot of pride in their work and it shows. Although the place was quite busy I was welcomed and seated at a table for 6-- the only one not occupied at the time-- and was served in princely style. The food was outstanding from first to last. I didnt expect this level of quality in a little country town, but here it is. I recommend it enthusiastically.

Service was wonderful, beautiful setting/ atmosphere and was very impressed with the dividers they have put in between tables. Now onto the food. Truthfully it was underwhelming. The appetizer meatballs while delicious wasnt warm all the way through. Brushetta didnt have enough seasoning /any salt. The mains I cant complain about but the seasonal vegetable side... Boiled broccoli and cauliflower with literally nothing on it. Our meal had the potential to be good but just missed the mark.

The food and service were fantastic. The place was packed when went for lunch and I can understand why, however it also did make things a bit slow. Glass dividers separate the tables and kind of look out of place but its function over form obviously. Its not cheap but worth the money.
