Lazeez is a good shawarma shop. The food is always tasty. I dont particularly like the decor in these restaurants. My daughter ordered mild for her wrap but it was clearly much hotter... someone got their sauces mixed up. She eats there regularly and said this mix up happens frequently. Vegetarian options: The falafel is vegetarian.

Me and my girlfriend usually see the guys working tonight and they always do an excellent job. Lots of TLC and the food here is much better than most Lazeez locations. Do not sleep on the spicy garlic sauce- its great & the staff here will serve you right

Food is great Well they need to be more understanding and expressive when we talk about sauces available.

Completely messed my order and when ask to remake it they told us it was entirely our fault and that they would not remake. He says he remembers us ordering when he was not the one who took the order. Messing is ok it happens but lying, not remaking it and gaslighting is quite the opposite of customer service.

Place used to be so good. You would get big portions of delicious chicken and rice for a good price. Now their chicken has gone down in quality. Bought meals yesterday and chicken had so many grizzle and fatty pieces a couple of meals didnt get finished. Not to mention there wasnt much chicken to begin with seems they want to serve you mostly rice and very little chicken, rice is good tho.

Whoever is in charge of taking the phone orders needs to be changed as they completely misunderstood the order and tried to convince me of not saying the correct order

Purchased chicken on the rocks for take-out, only to come home to a VERY large black hair in it. I called the place 5 times to let them know and no one answered. Would love for you to reach out to me and make this right. $19 dinner and one bit in.

Cross contamination nightmare. Avoid.

If they mess up your order they will do NOTHING to make it right. They expect you to make another order and pay for that as well. Perhaps times are tough for them but thats terrible customers service.

The decent flavour and good selection of toppings does not make up for the bad service or poor servings, especially at the price. I ordered a large shawarma pita and what I recieved was more pita than shawarma; didnt even have the common decency to fill the pita out with lettuce or any of the other cheaper ingredients I got as toppings. Server obviously hadnt been taught how to wrap a pita, and furthermore had the sheer audacity to cut fresh shawarma in front of me, fry it up on the flattop, then turn around and use soggy lukewarm meat from a chafing dish for my pita.

Got a chicken poutine, chicken was dryyy, and there was maybe 8 cheese curds for a medium. Did not taste anywhere as good as when I ordered the same at an Oakville location.

1) Not worth the money. 2) Didn t give what we paid for inspite telling it was our first time. 3) Rude customer service. 4) Bad customer service. 5) Lied about the ingredients.

Looking at these comments, not sure which location are these for but this location serves the worst shawarma ever. The photos look nothinglike we got. They store the meat in advance and are not cut fresh for each wrap. Secondly, the serving of the meat is as small as bird seeds..you basically eating the pita with some veggies. Its dry and not fresh. Tastes nothing like shawarma. Its pricey and disappointing. 0% hygiene..the place is dirty, like really dirty. Save your money and health. Go somewhere elses.

We went into this place to take my family for a quick bite while we were travelling. The washrooms were disgusting with urine on the floor and no paper towel. How are the staff washing their hands? The dining area was filthy. We asked for a table to be cleaned the guy handed us a paper towel roll and said hes busy. I was placing a decent size order and as Im telling the guy I wanted really easy in the sauce, the guy started dousing one of my orders with sauce even though I was pointing out to him I didnt want that. Clearly this place does not care about hygiene and cleanliness, so we didnt want to finish ordering and left. This place needs to be inspected by the health department

Tried this place for the first time recently. Not impressed at all. Food tasted decent but I noticed the place was not very clean when I ordered. Got home and finished the food and almost immediately I felt off. Spent the rest of the evening feeling sick due to food poisoning. I do not recommend.

Slower then sails. Tastes pretty good. Definitely on the pricey side. Definitely better off to just go to Champ Burger if your gonna drop the cash.

Service was pretty slow, 20 mins for a wrap ordered via DD, but the food was exceptional.

Ive had good experiences with Lazeez before, but tonights order was unusually bad. I ordered the Half & Half with Chicken, with Caesar salad and rice as my half & half options. When it arrived, it was 2/3 rice, 1/3 fries, with a sprinkling of lettuce on top with the chicken. I knew this was unusual, since Ive ordered this exact dish before, so I called them. At first they argued that it was normal (its not), but when I described it, they acknowledged that it was an error. Then they said theyd make it right, and hung up. Ive waited over 2 hours now and they still havent sent a replacement order. I dont like giving negative reviews, but Im very disappointed with how this order was handled.

Its a completely different taste and experience. They have different levels of spice and is one of its kind spice.

This is not true middle eastern food. The hummus is like soup and tastes awful, it went straight into the garbage. The garlic sauce is mayo. The falafels don t have parsley in them as a traditional one should be green inside. Salad came without a dressing in the same takeout container with the rice and chicken. Rice and chicken we re the only decent edible ingredients. The customer service is mediocre at best. Will not return, waste of money.

Meh, its OK, they need more experience in high end restaurants, to be better operators, super nice people, but they need better customer service skills. The food is pretty traditional, but Im not a pound of rice eater, which seems to come with container dinners, rice is so boring, its a staple in many countries, but its boring af. Curry it up or something add corn and sautéed onions with pepper, maybe some beans. It is a healthy choice though over fries. When you want something different, come here.

Good food. Portions were a great size. No beef option is kind of strange but not the end of the world. Do not like the hit sauce. Salad needs some kind of dressing. Even the garlic sauce would have been good on it. Falafel was overcook but the taste made up for it. Lentil rice was a nice change. Fries stayed crisp. Falafel wrap was great. Lots of veg and sauce. Grilled nicely. Crisp outside. One more place to try in town to crown a winner. Saved the best for last? Well see...

Past weekend we decided to try this Lazeez location thinking it would be like the original one in Mississauga however we were definitely wrong. Im not sure what type of middle eastern food experiences other reviewers had but most likely not good ones because they are mostly getting good reviews which is not true. Portion is small, they fill the container half way, food is NOT FRESH rice was not cooked properly definitely not worth the price. We had half of our food and rest was thrown away. Very disappointing and will not go there ever again. This is an honest review and I usually dont bother reviewing food places but since my food was terrible I had to.

Ordered chicken souvlaki...was covered in sauce cooked right portions were on point. Definitely will go back.

Ok, first time trying Lazeez. Not blown away, below average at best. Chicken came out of a warmer and wasnt warm? Yesterdays chicken? The hot sauce was fantastic. Lets see how it sits on my stomach of iron.

The food here is amazing. Ties Eden Grill for my favourite shawarma in town, and their fries are certainly better, but both are good options. Prices are good, and lots of delicious options. One star off because my only complaint is they just take way too long to prepare food, and will prioritize takeout/DoorDash orders over customers in the store. They actually stopped halfway through making my food, made a DoorDash order, then picked back up again after..

The shawarma is amazing. Pickles and extra garlic sauce and tahini and shawarma. This is my favourite sandwich.

The wraps are usually amazing. Unfortunately sometimes the person making the food doesn t care so it s very inconsistent. When they put the effort in it s definitely worth it.

Healthier foods items, a great away to get those veggies into your diet. The add ons inside the wraps by the cash register are great too. Fast service from accurate employees.

Best Shawarma in Alliston so far. Tried it and loved it.

Lazeez was my go-to in Mississauga for any time of day craving. Sadly the Alliston location produced a dry shish tawouk and chicken shawarma wrap. They need to learn to lay the sauces on like their flagship locations in the city! Hoping things will improve as it is their first week of operation. Looking forward to trying again later this month.

First of all let me start off by saying Im not too impressed with Lazeez. A good shawarma or shawarma on the rocks requires a good garlic sauce and hands down Eden Grill has nailed the garlic sauce, you can actually taste the garlic. Lazeez garlic sauce tastes like mayo with dry seasoning. The rice is too dry no flavor what so ever. I will continue with Eden Grill they are my favorite in town!

The place looks nice and modern. The tables were cleared off but not wiped down. A little hard to social distance. I think they should remove some tables and chairs across from the order and food assemble station. They also could use higher plexiglass around the food assemble station. They should ask customers what they want and not want on thier order tomatoes, onions, sauce etc. They do take care in assembling the order together. But if you are in a rush forget it. Great food portion. It is expensive. Paid almost $30 for two people. I would go more often if prices were cheaper.

Had a couple of chicken shawarma wraps a couple of weeks back. Thought wed try it due to it being brand new. To be perfectly honest, it wasnt great. It wasnt bad per seh, but it just wasnt good either. The service was very slow but I guess that could be due to them not having the flow just yet, being so new. Id say a 2.5 out of 5 but since I cant give half stars, Ill give it a 3. Again, its not horrible but it could be a lot better.

They did not serve a fresh shawarma, it wasnt cut from the shawarma skewer, they reheated old chicken meat and put it in the sandwich. also, chicken sovlaki didnt taste the way it should be, it was very dry and plain.
