Im glad to support a small business like this one this is only one of the few real cultured homemade food places in all of Barrie I feel me and my girlfriend went there and were not disappointed by the quality of the food for the presentation of the food it was absolutely amazing yes it may seem a little expensive but the quality was 100% better than the keg. This review is now 5 years old and I am now updating my opinion in 2024! It still is the most amazing family friendly place its is not just a place to get food its a place of happiness and friendship! The food is made with so much love and smiles. Vegetarian options: This is your place to go! Must try Dietary restrictions: You are able to get anything you need! I have a child who is type 1 and she is able to eat here regularly! Kid-friendliness: The family that runs this place just wants to make you good food! They are not after your money! Please support this wonderful place of food! Best chicken by fair!

Since moving to Canada from England I haven t found a good place to good authentic shawarma but this Eden Greek delivers! Fantastic food and service.

Shawarma tasted really fresh but the best was the service from the lady at the counter

This was my go to Shawarma spot in Alliston until I got charged $34 for a salad I asked for 2 scoops of chicken and the lack of meat on the salad when I asked if my other scoop was added he proceeds to add more and charges me an additional $7. Never coming back.

Amazing fast food. They have pretty healthy options, and the service is fast with very sweet staff who genuinely care about their restaurant :) Vegetarian options: Halloumi and Falafel wraps.

I have not been here in a while. I was not aware it was under new management. Glad to see food portions are much larger than before. Not that size was an issue before but as they say you get what you pay for. Service is amazing, I really appreciate how attentive everyone here was. Highly recommended, forgot to mention. Prices are just perfect as well compared to other Shawarma parlours. Parking: Tons of parking anytime I visit.

The food here used to be my absolute favorite. But the owners made the experience less than pleasant, the food was just so good I didnt care. Now its changed a bit. The food is good but lacking sauce in a big way. Everything was really dry the last 2 times even the salad and hardly any garlic sauce. The new owners were so lovely though and REALLY want to love this place so I hope they go back to making the food like it was and bonus lovely people. I have hope and Ill keep coming back

This place is going to do great with the new owners! The mixed shawarma was delicious. The baklava was beyond wonders. You can taste the freshness and love put into creating the food. The outgoing personality of the owner and hospitality goes such a long way. They are going to do so great and I can t wait to see what new items they will be adding to their menu.

The best shawarma sandwiches/shawarma plates in Ontario. Their falafel is also very good. The ingredients are so fresh. I feel spoiled every time I get food from there. The staff are very pleasant.

If you are a true foodie, avoid this place. Not sure who on earth would give this place 5 stars, probably people who have no clue about decent food. Ordered a mixed shawarma, and its about as basic as they come. Avoid the wilted lettuce. None of the other toppings are exciting or unique. Person putting it together spoke no english but they dont make it up with any authenticity. Honestly there is zero reason to come back here again. Extremely pedestrian.

Best shawarma I ve had hands down

I ordered the Dinner for 5 last Friday and it was a hit at home. Very delicious food. Staff were very friendly as well.

Handsdown, my favorite shwarma place. I typically order the chicken shwarma wrap with pretty much everything and the garlic sauce. Words cannot describe how much I love that wrap. So good. Any time I come up to Alliston and need a quick bite, Eden Grill is top of my list. No other shwarma Ive tried compares to Eden Grills. My boyfriend also loves their chicken wraps.

This takeout restaurant is reasonably priced, great portions, and really good, high quality food. Perfect for a complete family dinner orders. Great selection. One of our regular restaurants.

I don t usually give 5 stars, but when I do, I give them to Eden Grill (by the way, this place is WAY better than Osmoses.. like way way better.) Anyone who is unsure of what to order, here is my suggestion. Mixed chicken and beef box (includes a bed of rice), this is my go to. ENJOY!!!

Good food here for your average middle eastern food experience and people you can get along with. Only problem is that the place feels too small, polluted and there s a room that can be used for dining instead of useless storage.

This place continues to go downhill on value. The food is OK, but the portions have gone way down, theyve started using small containers for their plates and platters and they legit dont fill the containers still. The platter for 3 was 34.99 couple year ago. Now its 61.99. Like legitimately given less food and near doubling the prices. Just cant justify lining the pockets of these owners anymore. Thats called ripping you off, and its intentional

Love this place! If youre looking for Middle Eastern that is NOT a chain, go here. I usually get the falafel and baklava. Also tried their potato cakes, which were delicious too. My favorite toppings: picked turnips and onions! Vegetarian options: Falafel is great for vegetarian.

Eden Grill rescued me from the nightmare of substandard Simcoe County shawarma. The staff are great and the food is fresh and delicious. I always order a beef shawarma plate with Greek salad and the deep-fried potato hamburger thing that I can never remember the name of, but is unbelievably tasty. I usually try to make it in at least once a week (except when Im travelling out of the area).

Food quality has gone down, today my wrap was wrapped with a bunch of holes in it. Wrap barely stays together because of it, also much smaller portions than what Im use to getting here. Been coming for 2 years and theyre typically really good.

To start with customer service I would give it a 10/10, very friendly and welcoming. Guided me through choosing between their amazing options. Secondly, their menu has a wide variety of meals to select from. Would definitely eat here again

Extremely disappointed in this place. I got a pound of chicken shawarma and a pound of beef shawarma. The beef was hard like a rock and barely edible, the chicken shawarma wasn t even cut properly, and the taste was extremely bland and a lot of oil was on each of the portions. The portions are super small too, and they did not even offer sauces. Both came to $45, not worth it at all. Save yourself the cash and just go to another place. Needs to work on food quality.

Best Shawarma place Ive been to hands down, even have lived in Toronto for 10 years. The chicken shawarma plate here is soooo good and the serving size is huge. Sauces are made by the chefs and they are sold in bottles -- highly recommend. Also very friendly and gracious staff.

Oh boy, am I glad I stopped by Eden Grill for lunch today! Very good food, nice staff and super quick. Lots of in house goods to buy (get the hot sauce, seriously that stuff is awesome!). Ordered a gyro, great balance of flavor on all the sauces and seasoning. And perfect portions, good job guys! Will be visiting again and again. Support your local and independent restaurants, you can tell there is passion in the food.

Best Shawarma in the GTA and Toronto Ive had in a very long time. Being from Toronto, Im always eating at various top notch Shawarma restaurants all over the GTA, and Eden Grill is by far the best one Ive tried yet. Fresh ingredients, food was perfect temperature, moist and flavourful. Sauces were all delicious, and Salad and Rice were top notch. I tried the Beef and Chicken mixed plate, and it was just perfect. Portion was great, and prices are very competitive. Exactly the place everyone needs to try if youre looking for something better than the usual favourite Shawarma shops. This beautiful family ran shop is my new reference standard for exceptional Shawarma. Most importantly, I was greeted with a smile and warm welcome. Wonderful staff, great service, amazing food. Alliston is very lucky to have Eden Grill. Thank you for dinner, and I look forward to dining again very soon.

I know its due to inflation, but the chicken shawarma plates arent what they used to be with the amount they serve. The food is great, but the price you pay for the amount youre given doesnt warrant $20.

Best Falafel in town! They also sell garlic sauce, hummus and thier pickled veggies in jars as well in a fridge by the cashier. We got the Falafel plate with rice and salad. Everything was great! Food

The food at Edens is consistently good. However, if charging over $20 for a schwarma or mixed plate, the portions should be equivalent to the price. Started with smaller portions, and now they have also decreased the size of the container. RIDICULOUS. My husband and I frequented this spot. Not anymore. We would rather go to Pita land, better portions, and delicious potatoes.

This place was buzzing when I walked in. They were bringing out a 300 person order yet the family run business still had time to take numerous orders at the counter as people kept showing up. By far the best shawarma in the area. Huge portions, fresh ingredients, really solid all around.

Just phenomenal. I come all the way from ottawa just to eat here and my family orders from here literally every three days. I will have to stop again to take some back next week for my train ride but wow. Not only is the food great but when I only get two ingredients and ask for extra garlic I love how they re never hesitant and make you feel welcome. I love that.

Best shawarmas around! I ordered two chicken wraps and bought their homemade hot sauce. Everything tastes fresh delicious and homemade, even the toppings. I come from another town with other shawarma places but this has them all beat!

I like their shawarma and all but this review is about the people running the joint. I walked in and saw them giving a full salad, chicken, beef, and water to someone going through a real rough time. Hope their business booms because they deserve it frfr.

No good seating for elderly or handicapped. Couldnt stay, smelled good though. Very kind staff that tried to help. Super high stools and the only table wasny strong at all, flimsy at best. So disappointing, was looking forward to eating there. Not good for disabled.

Not an enjoyable eating experience, almost $15 for a wrap that completely falls apart before you get a chance to eat it. The beef was dry and tasteless.

Absolutely delicious shawarma. The sauces are so tasty the hot sauce has a ton of flavor. The salad is so good too! Very nice baklava too, super tasty and nice texture. Definitely worth coming for a bite to eat! The people who work here are wonderful and kind too. The prices and portions are fair and worth it!

I had the Falafel plate, here s what i thought: Pros: great serving sizes Cons: - Falafel was super dry - Garlic sauce didnt taste nice at all - rice was almost tasteless - employee kept asking questions so fast about what i wanted that i couldnt understand and had to ask to repeat several times. It seems like they dont take constructive criticism well from the other reviewers based on the owners responses and Im sure theyll respond to this one in a similar manner. I feel for them as it must be rough running a business through covid but still have to offer a good product if you want to stay in business.

Excellent lunch (or dinner) option in Alliston, with a good sized menu and daily specials. Easily the best falafel available in town, paired with their hot sauce and some tahini, its great in a wrap. The portions are also generous and filling. It gets busy at lunch and the girls do move quickly, so there may a line up (the secret is out).

Being new to the area, we decided to try a family-run business for dinner and we re so glad we did! The staff was amazing and very kind, the food tasted incredible with very generous portions, and you could tell everything was made from the heart. We had the chicken shawarma plates and pita chips. We also picked up some fresh made hummus, which tasted amazing. Hands down the best shawarma we ve had in Alliston. We can t wait to go back again and try more of their foods and sauces!

I work next door on occasion (work multiple locations) and everytime i get to work in alliston Im having gyros for dinner ! Absolutely the BEST gyros Ive had. No other gyro compares. MUST TRY! Staff and owner are always wonderful.

We decided to try Eden Grill based on the reviews and wanted to try a different shawarma restaurant than the either chains. We are so glad we did! The ladies working were welcoming, pleasant and friendly! Chicken, rice and potatoes in a box with all the sauces they offer was delishous! The portions were generous and the hot sauce was flavourful. Fatoush salad with chicken shawarma was excellent and portions was generous as well. Overall, excellent experience! We will be back for sure!

Delicious, fresh, and awesome value for your money! Ordered the family dinner for 3, it was enough to feed my family of 4 with leftovers! The garlic sauce tasted fresh and full of flavor, and the rice was the perfect texture. The falafel had the perfect crunchy outside and perfect flavor !!

I went to Eden Grill for my first time with my coworker and our high school students, as a large group. The service at Eden Grill was phenomenal! They were super organized and efficient with taking and preparing our orders, labeling all of our orders clearly so that there was no question whose food was for who. We were impressed by how helpful the staff was with placing our orders and helping the students not feel embarrassed when they didnt know what a particular topping or sauce was. The staff was informative, kind, efficient, and quick. We all left feeling really good about the experience and were very impressed with the food when we ate it: everything was delicious! Thank you for the fantastic dining experience.

Amazing quality and taste. Beat shawarma around. Staff is so friendly and funny!! We visit weekly and they never disappoint!! We love the shawarma plates, but everything on their menu is incredible!
