Great service. Great food and great quality.

Celebrated my birthday there, it was our first time going. The food was incredible and our service was amazing. I cannot believe the menu has so many options. For a little restaurant in alliston I believe its a hidden gem and a must try!! No need to leave our little town for a special occasion anymore.

Went to Table for 2 for the first time tonight and was not disappointed. The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was clean and most importantly the steaks were cooked to perfection! We will definitely be back.

We ordered the Ribeye, and it was SO GOOD. Cooked to perfection, seasoned perfectly, beautiful marbling, beautiful grill marks. 10/10 for the steak. The mushroom garlic sauce on top was really good too. Friendly wait staff and the owner came to our table to ask if we enjoyed our meal. We will 100% be back.

You want an excellent steak then Table for Two is the pace to go in Alliston. Clyde provided us with great service an a fabulous dinner.

We loved his previous establishment and finally had a reason to try out his new place. 5 year anniversary dinner did not disappoint. It was delicious wanted to order more but were stuffed. Food came out promptly and hot. It was so good that we didnt even take pictures. Will have to go again!

Had a fabulous meal last night. We had rib steak, scallops, caesar salad. Everything was on point and the prices were very reasonable.

What can I say about Table for Two on Victoria Street in Alliston? Where to begin. We saw their menu online and I had to have the marbled rib steak. My mouth is still watering BTW lol. Their menu is so diverse, Weve got so many dishes we still need to try! Clyde is the owner and Chef came and spoke with us, so kind. Give Table for Two a try, you wont be disappointed

It s a great steakhouse in a small town! We travelled from Toronto and found this gem :) I love the steak the food is amazing! The chef is friendly and the waitress is very nice too!

My husband and I came last night for dinner and it was excellent. He was going to order chicken at a steak house! The server and I convinced him other wise and he was very glad that he did. We will definitely come again!

We celebrated our 35th anniversary with a delicous dinner at Table for Two. The owner/chef is friendly and grilled a great steak. The salad was fresh and full of veggies with a light house dressing. My husband loved his madallion steaks which were grilled to perfection. We will go again in the near future and highly recommend it.

All four dishes were perfect! 3 steaks and seafood platter. We drove a half hour here for dinner and it was totally worth the drive. Would 100% recommend if craving a steak dinner.

We had a lunch here to celebrate my sons communion & baptism and the whole experience was wonderful. It was the perfect size for our group of 20 and everyone was extremely satisfied with their food. Clyde was very easy to work with while planning and upon meeting him the day of was very friendly and you can really see he is very passionate about his restaurant. We are looking forward to going back for a date night to try other items on the menu!

Visiting from out of town. My Sistsr-in-law suggested we try this Restaurant. Knowing how much I love my steak. This Restaurant was top notch with the steaks. The food was absolutely amazing!! My friend and I just came from a delicious steak dinner at table for 2. The steak was suburb, the server was outstanding and all in all I would highly recommend this restaurant. First time customers. Dinner for 4 on the 3rd of May. Absolutely fabulous dinner. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. A must try if you haven t been. We will definitely be back.

Hosted our family for my wife s 75th birthday. Awesome food and service, boys said best steak they have had in a restaurant. Donna is a fantastic server, mind you she had a little help from her robot friend. Chef dropped by to thank us and we had a great conversation with him. As Arnold would say we ll be back !

We can not say enough about table for 2! They are amazing people who run it, and a server that will never call in sick ( a robot) and the food is to die for my husbands steak was cooked perfectly! SAVE YOUR MONEY - OR GO TO THE KEG! My husband and I visited Table for Two to celebrate our mutual birthday Jan 23 2024. Although the food was palatable, the food was bland and overall very disappointing. We both ordered prime rib steaks which were cooked perfectly however my steak was close to 50% fat and at a price point of $46 I feel that is excessive. Horseradish, which is a staple for all steakhouses was not offered nor available. We expressed our disappointment to our server who offered to pass out along to the chef but we did not receive any response. To say the least we would not recommend this restaurant .

It is not too often that I give five stars, but Table for Two Steak House most absolutely deserves it. We were only part way into our meal and we were already making plans on when we would be back and who we would bring with us. Our meals were done perfectly, my S.O. even ate his veggies. The service was great, making us feel like valued patrons. The robot was a wonderfully entertaining added touch. Thank you Table for 2 for a wonderful evening. :)

We LOVE going to Table for Two to celebrate special occasions. The food is absolutely fantastic. Best beef weve had. Nice variety on menu. Could use a few more choices for sides. Went to Table for 2 last night for dinner for the first time. Amazing food, amazing value and amazing staff. We had the seafood medley, Thai shrimp and the Chicago steak. Everything was perfectly good and the portions were huge. The chef came out to ask us how we enjoyed our food which was something you never experience at any chain. Highly recommend and will be back.

The food was delicious - steak done to perfection, tender, succulent, tasty. Amazing service - attentive, helpful, personable. The ambiance was a little lacking - tiny, cool and every time the door opened, I felt cool. Washrooms were modern and clean but not great decor. However, the chef and owner was attentive and he checked in to make sure your food was to your liking. We will be back and would recommend The Table for Two to others. A great experience!!

Just got back from dinner at Table for 2. So happy with our meal. We got the bacon wrapped scallops and the Louisiana surf and turf to start. Both were delicious. Bacon could have been a bit crisper but other than that they were both quite tasty. I ordered the 10 ounce marbled rib eye and my husband had the NY strip. Both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Ashley, our server was very friendly and checked on us regularly. Food came out super quick too! The chefs Isaiah and Mervin were so sweet and sent out an extra order of mash potato for my kids. Very thoughtful. I cannot believe how amazing the prices are for such ample portions. The chefs both came out to greet us and ask how the food was which is so rare to see these days. We will definitely be coming back and urge anyone who hasnt been to definitely try it out!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I had the chef special chicago Black and blue with peppercorn and mushroom sauce ,Steak was cook to perfection. I mean PERFECTION . My husband had the marble rib eye with the red pepper sauce. Absolutely delicious. Honestly you cant go wrong with any of the food here. If you want the best steak you will ever eat you got to eat here . Clyde the chef made a point on checking on us to insure our meal was perfection. Absolutely a+ amazing food- the bacon wrapped scallops were cooked perfectly. Ive never had it served with garlic toast, but it was the exact complement for the bacon and scallop jus. As for the wagyu, again, cooked to perfection. Served rare, the marbled fat within the meat was completely rendered and that is a difficult task to complete. I was always adamant when cooking this type of beef with salt and only salt. I was proven wrong, as the chefs choice was prepared with a garlic and herb spice, which enhanced the flavors of everything 10 fold. Service was 10/10. From seating to leaving we were taken care of completely, very kind, respectful, and professional. Ill be going back again, no question. Compliments to the chef and service!

We tried this place tonight. We were looking for something other than the keg but had a similar menu. We were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious. Had a wonderful time dining at Table for Two with my parents for their 40th anniversary. The hostess was attentive and kind while answering our questions about the wines and food. Now speaking of the wine and food, we were paired with a lovely red wine to go with all of our steaks. Small place, so make a reservation. The food is fantastic! Very friendly staff and great food at unexpectedly reasonable prices. My steak was cooked exactly right with a nice crust on the rare steak. We will be back without a doubt. The seafood smelled so good It will have to be part of my next order. We went back and the seafood was as good as the steak.

We had our first experience at TABLE FOR 2 and it definately will not be our last! The steak was seasoned perfectly, cooked perfectly, the appies and salad were flavourful and the young waitress Maggie was attentive and did an amazing job. We had a wonderful conversation with the owner, which made our time there even more enjoyable. So glad we tried somewhere new! Would highly recommend this gem in Alliston.

Great steak, very well seasoned! On the down side the restaurant s lighting was very dark it took at least 45 min to receive our orders and my steak was cooked medium and not medium rare as I ve requested it.

We were a party of three, we all had steak as our main meal, two were medium and third was well done. All meals were fantastic, done just the way we asked. The chef Clyde stop by our table to how our meals were, which was very nice. Our hostess Ashley was always looking out for as. It was our first time having dinner here. It not a very big place, so you dont feel lost like in some of those larger restaurants. I highly recommend. Phil.

In Alliston for a couple of days and was a bit excited about a steak house in a smaller town. Were very picky about our steak and Tablefor2 did not disappoint. While I was surprised the steaks were not thicker, they were well seasoned and cooked to our liking. Interesting selection of apps and sides which themselves were pretty good. Service was great, though we were the only ones in at the time of arrival before it got a bit busy. Wine selection was very limited so theres that, but not sure what is reasonable for me to expect here but that made it 4 instead of 5 stars - sorry, I like my wine too. Very good value for the money in my opinion given both quality and quantity.

Best steaks in town hands down amazing service

The place was unexpectedly amazing. Ashley (the waitress) and Clyde (chef) were both very friendly and Clyde came after the meal was served to come talk and told us about his story. The prime rib (chefs special with red wine sauce) was seared perfectly and the cheesecake had homemade blueberry sauce. Definitely recommended and easily beats out many steakhouses in the GTA. Would love to come back!

My family & friends visited Table For 2 Steak House in Alliston this past weekend, and we were absolutely thrilled by the service and quality of food! For what you get, pricing is very reasonable. I personally ordered a wagyu steak (seen in one of the uploaded photos), and it was unbelievable! Cooked to perfection and was one of the best cuts of meat Ive eaten in a while. The chef also came by our table of 8 to ask if everything was cooked to our satisfaction, which was very nice and appreciated. If you havent visited this establishment, you should. Great service and excellent food! We will definitely go back. A+

Amazing food but the atmosphere could use some adjusting. Better lighting and in such a small restaurant a modicum of privacy between tables could be beneficial, especially for the price range.

Best steak I ever had! Cooked to perfection!

We were excited for Wagyu steak being on the menu and happy there is a fine dining restaurant open on Monday in Alliston to bring an guest from the USA. That is were it ended, warm red wine (extremely warm, certainly not the room temperature of the chilly restaurant nor was it a palatable temperature). Steak Medallions described as a portion of the beef tenderlion, who know there would be grizzle and fat. Not to mention over cooked and charred on the bottom side. Tried to communicate through Contact unable to submit. Overall totally dissatisfied

Me and my fiancé went there on August 27 it was a Saturday Night we had scallops for an appetizer they were cooked perfect and they were delicious I had a surf and turf my shrimp were cooked amazing my steak was amazing my fiancé had a 14 ounce steak and he enjoyed every bite of it such that I I recommend if you ever want a good steak go here waitress and chef were amazing

This place is my go to for a fantastic steak dinner, best steak I ve had was cooked by Clyde. Our server Ashley was an absolute pleasure. Clyde shows interest and is always coming out of the kitchen to meet his customers that s a personal touch I very rarely see. You cannot go wrong visiting table for two!

Happened by this place by chance after my plans going south. I d say it s fair quality for the price , waitress was engaged and seemed to be invested into providing guests with a good experience. Owner/cook seemed to take pride in what he was making. You won t be blown away but if you want a boutique steakhouse experience and support local businesses, it s worth a try.

Had dinner at this little hidden gem of a restaurant. First off the service was excellent, the waitress was wonderful, such a pleasant person and genuinely loved what she does. The meal was excellent, the steaks were cooked to perfection and i can honestly say i havent had a steak better anywhere else. The sides were awesome and the cheesecake with the homemade topping, manifique. The owner/chef takes the time to ask how your meal was and shared some stories of his own, very pleasant, humble person. Going back 100 percent.

We dropped one night for a steak dinner. It s a very cozy intimate atmosphere. The server is amazing and takes care of all your needs offering advice with your choices. The food is delicious.the meat is fresh never frozen like the chain restaurants the favour and tenderness is beyond compare. I would choose this place over Ruth C. Anytime. The chef, a very personable fellow, took time to come to our table to make sure that everything was to our liking. We have now been here for three visits and will continues as we haven t found a thing that can hold a candle to this marvellous place. It s small so book ahead and treat you tastebuds to an amazing adventure.

Had the pleasure of ordering take out this weekend. Im sorry Ive waited so long trying their food. We ordered the surf and turf plates. The steaks were cooked to perfection. And the scallops and shrimp were amazing. Im only sorry I took so long to try this amazing food. We will be returning ASAP.

Was the best steaks Ive ever tasted. There was 4 of us each with a different steak, we all shared, each one was different but tasted amazing, done to perfection. I never give 5 stars until now.

This was our 2nd visit and again we were totally satisfied with the experience. A very simple concept in a very quaint and luxurious atmosphere. The food was well prepared. The chef focuses on allowing the food to speak for itself without trying to make it something different. The accompany vegetables are prepared to complement the protein perfectly. I cant believe I ate all my vegetables! Worth every penny! Go and enjoy a fantastic evening out!

Wow! My husband and I tried out this spot for dinner tonight and we were blown away! What a hidden gem this place is! Service was excellent and our steaks were the best we have had in recent memory.. cooked to perfection and complimented perfectly! Authentic steakhouse with unique and intimate atmosphere. The service was fantastic and the expertise of the Chef could be tasted in every bite. The medallions were mouth watering and the dessert was very tasty. Thank you for a great evening!

Oh what a night. We arrive with our group (and screwed up our reservation, we were a night early), but the staff were able and willing to accommodate. We ended up having this small intimate restaurant all to ourselves. It was amazing and more than I could have ever expected. From the food, to the service, to the conversations with the Chef, this place is truly a gem. Cant wait to be able to get back. Thanks for a great and memorable evening.

Super tasty steaks. So much flavour. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The scallops melted in your mouth! Even the zucchini was fabulous and full of flavour. Nice small and intimate restaurant. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Be sure to make a reservation.

Had a great dinner

Last night my husband and I had such an amazing meal at Table for 2 Steakhouse! This was hands down one of the best steaks I have ever had. The steak medallion with the fire roasted sauce was incredible. The bacon wrapped medallion with the peppercorn sauce was breath taking. Both sauces complimented the meats so perfectly. A beautiful balance of spices and grilled brilliance. The vegetables were paired elegantly with the meats and truly made the plate into a work of art. We finished the evening off with a delicious, rich piece of cheesecake topped with a refreshing berry compote. Every bite of this meal was like a bite of heaven. The server was so friendly and great at giving genuine recommendations. Even the Chef himself came up to our table to see how we were enjoying the meal! When talking to the Chef, you could see the passion he has for his food and how truly happy he is with his work. An inspiration to us all. We cannot wait to come back to this wonderful restaurant again!

My daughters and I just celebrated a very special birthday at this absolutely amazing gem of a restaurant in Alliston. The food I can t say enough about how scrumptious it was. The service - top notch. Very friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back

This was our second time there and the place has gone downhill. If you dont like seafood, you only get salad as an appetizer option...and because of the Romaine lettuce recall, they are not serving ANY salad...even though the salad specified Iceberg lettuce??? There are other green besides romaine lettuce out there. NO hot drinks...only options are alcohol or over priced pop. We stuck with water :( Menu lacks creativity and variety. Same sauces used on salmon, chicken and scallops. No pasta options. All salmon and chicken served with the same rice and vegetables. The steak was super low quality and wasnt even cooked properly. Asked for medium rare and it came blue rare. My honey salmon, the center was great but the bottom and top were so burnt it tasted bitter. Sides were plain rice and some carrots with couple zucchini(sides anyone can make at home). Only one option for desert!! Overpriced, nothing special, poor menu.

Probably the best rough cut steak Ive ever eaten, very personal staff and atmosphere. Keto friendly, just mention preferences to the server. If you want sugary sides and noise go to a chain, if you want a great steak in a little neat place go here.

Had a wonderful experience with my husband tonight. The lady who served us was an absolute doll and the chefs which one happened to be the owner tonight, prepared our meals. We had the house salad to start which was great with their house vinaigrette. The 14oz marble & the 8oz surf and turf medallion. The sides were zucchini, carrot and a potato medley with cheese sauce. The potatoes were to die for. We were then given a complimentary cheese cake slice with fruit. Now Im no gal for cheesecake, AT ALL..but this must have been one of the best desserts I have ever tasted. I am so pleased with our experience and will definitely be returning. Thankyou so much!

We saw the advertisement driving on HWY 89 and thought we have to go there tonight . What a treat!! The steak was done to perfection! And the the owner supports Ontario local beef farmers. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Definitely a must visit. If you are in the area you must check them out.

Great experience at table for two on Friday night. Ordered the honey butter salmon and the New York strip. Both were cooked to perfection. Service was excellent and quality of the food was amazing. This was our second visit and will absolutely visit again. Best steak and seafood you can get in Alliston. Both very fresh and the beef is from local Ontario farmers. Can t wait to return!

Awesome Steaks. Awesome Service. Ashley Could use some bread when you sit down. Could use a little more on the Appetizer menu and sides with the Steaks. May have cut some things back due to COVID. Will be back great place.

Made a reservation and the next day it was cancelled since they had a private party. Not right to do that. I will not give this place any business if they operate this way.

The worst restaurant I have ever been too. Tell me how a menu offers a bunch of appetizers & main course meals with asparagus and you are out of asparagus... The WHOLE menu has something to do with asparagus. Why would you not inform your customers prior to them looking at the menu that you are out of a main menu component. --- Food was horrible, you are a steak house.. how do you not know how to cook a steak. The product was awful, it literally looked and tasted like a Walmart flank steak, where are these cuts coming from?! Ordered the Surf and Turf Salad, the salad was completely wilted & soggy, way overdressed. Could have made better food at home. Will NEVER go back. Would NEVER recommend.

Had an excellent experience at this steakhouse! A small cozy location in the city with some great decor. Service was nice and timely. The meal selection is wonderful with choices in seafood, steak cuts, and chicken with options to get some nice sides too if you so choose. The prices are fair for the portions you get. Meal was cooked well and tasted wonderful. My strip loin came out with a perfect sear and rare to a tee, along with the seafood cooked correctly too. Great flavours here that you have to experience if youre craving steak.

Service and atmosphere were great! Very friendly, very modern place. We had a couple of steaks and some wine. Overall it was nice spot. A bigger wine selection would have made it 5/5

The stakes were very tender. Appetizers were equally as good. The ambiance is so-so. Service was top-notch. Was was a little pricey but worth it. Only 2 choices of beer. Should have at least 4. Only had Coors lite and Heineken. Check it out for yourself.

Overpriced appetizers for 1 1/2 tablespoons of a serving. Doubtful on the bacon wrapped medallions. Asked if it was beef tenderloin and was told it was. Never had a tenderloin cut in two with bacon wrapped around the 2 pieces ever before.

Too sirloin with pepper corn steak was delicious and perfectly medium rare as I ordered. The loaded seafood potatoes were fantastic and the included side veggies were crisp and flavorful. Service was excellent. $48 with tip. Very fair.

The steaks were good and the server and chef friendly, but the restaurant itself is rather dark and bare, the sides were unremarkable, and the food overpriced. If the cost had been closer to half what it was, I would have felt we received value for money. The tastes (other than the steak itself) were bland or at least understated. It felt more like a meal I might have cooked at home. For the price, I expected more. I dont enjoy leaving negative reviews. I realize that owners put a great deal of effort and risk into their establishments. Although I know almost nothing about the challenging restaurant business, I would urge these owners to seek to create a more comfortable dining room, use bolder flavours and more adventurous sides, and review their costs to see if menu prices can be reduced until these improvements can take hold.
