This is the classiest restaurant in town with stellar food, and consistently great service ! I love this place !!

Williams has become a habit for our family as the food never disappoints and the service our family receives is always welcoming, wether it s date night or family dinner with the kids. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something new to make their regular!

Great spot to eat with exceptional service! Personal favourite is the Bacon Blue cheese burger!

A game of a spot in Alliston.

We reached there at 6:30pm and the restaurant said open till 8. One of the servers asked for table for how many and the other one came and said they cannot take us in. That behaviour definitely felt personal and racist by the second lady. Why would you even ask table for how many if you cannot accept? Thoughts?

Ordered fish and chips. Fish tasted old/stale not fresh. Service was great!!

Imagine being asked to leave after spending well over $150 on dinner because it was 5min after 8? Im speechless.... the waitress was extremely rude too? For no reason. I didnt get it. My father owned a restaurant as did my grandfather (the Sword down town Toronto) No way would we EVER EVER toss people unless they were rowdy or staying over an hour after close and hardly even then and being rude to customers that were being nice just NO. What a shame. I prefer to support small businesses but I would never go back nor would I recommend anyone else to. Not welcoming and not worth it in my opinion. Sorry

Fantastic patio. We ordered the chicken parmesan and the salmon with a Greek salad. Perfectly cooked and presented. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will be back for sure

It s hard for my wife and I to find a good vegetarian meal at least to our liking. We had the squash ravioli and it was excellent. Great service as well. Highly recommend!!

An upscale pub with great beer tasty food. The staff are friendly and attentive.

First time dining here, and I loved the small and intmate atmosphere. I had the striploin and it was amazing, perfectly cooked and very flavourful. The bruschetta appetizer was also delicious. The sex on the beach cocktail went down really well. Staff were all so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend trying this gem out!

My wife and I had a birthday celebration at Williams this week and I ordered the strip loin steak. As a career Keg chef this was one of the best steaks I ve ever had. The wife s risotto was delicious as well. Excellent atmosphere and great service. Thank you Williams. We look forward to many more dinners over the summer!

This place is amazing. The waitress was so sweet, I asked if they had garlic parm fries, she said no but we can make you some. I had a beet and goat cheese salad my husband had the burger and everything was delicious.

The overall atmosphere was beautiful. I loved the closed in heated patio. The food was delicious, but the waitress, the night we went spilled multiple times, two drinks and olives after picking up the chcutrie board. I dont know if she was new Maybe nervous serving a large group but it took away the ability to fully enjoy the eveing i didnt want to be the one with a full beer down the back of my shirt or a beer all over my arm or smelling like olives Personally I would never go again being my first experience at this restaurant but Im sure if you got the right waitress or waiter you would have a beautiful experience.

My wife , son and I popped in for a bite. We are in town for a hockey tournament and wanted something homemade , comfort food. We were not disappointed! Fantastic food , fantastic atmosphere and fantastic service and staff. We were speaking with, I m assuming the owner , and what a wonderful charismatic lady. We had a lovely chat about our mutual love of Bruce Springsteen and she made us very envious of her stories and pictures. I would drive out of my way to stop in and eat here again! 6 out of 5 star restaurant ! Thanks Williams !

You can tell that energy, love and commitment has been spent on making a special place in Alliston for people to have a beautiful meal made with love! The atmosphere is calm and clean, it s modern and has been renovated to make it a great restaurant for everyone in town to enjoy!

Ive been to this restaurant in the past and it was very good, had many menu optiins, the smoked wings were amazing. Basically the reason we chose to return and bring family that were visiting. The menu was very limited for dinner, and disappointing on choices. We had a reservation and were seated at a great table at the window. . We were there maybe 5 minutes and the server came to our table saying ladies I know these are really comfy chairs but do you mind MOVING to a back table behind a large party!! Where it was against the wall on a bench seat, where one person would be staring at a wall!!! We said yes we do mind!!! It was a table for 4 and apparently there were 4 people waiting to be seated. Why ask us to move as we were 3 people to accomodate these V.I.P.S apparently that were more of a priority then us. This made us not feel welcome or treated respectfully. Our money is just as good!!! Wont be back. Ive worked in the restaurant industry as G.M, server, bartender and would never treat ANY CLIENT in that capacity...

Moved to the area about 9 months ago and Williams in Alliston has become a regular spot for us. This was our third visit, and the experience keeps getting better. Quaint and charming atmosphere with a clearly devoted local following. Service was exceptional. We opted for the prime rib special a classic that delivered. Served rare, just as we requested, with the chef even checking in to ensure it was up to our standards. If youre in the area, this place is a must-try. Looking forward to our next visit. Five stars, no question.

Delicious food

I would give this a -10 stars if I could. Service was not good and the food was horrible. $38 for steak and fries. Steak was like a Walmart $4 steak and they put about half a box of salt on it. We sat at the bar and both waitress didn t fill my water or ask if we wanted another drink. We had to ask. My hubby is a big tipper and said DO NOT TIP....I have never heard that come out of his mouth within our 10 years together. This is not fine dining but bar food instead. Everyone that put a review on here it must be for different chef or something. Seriously steak and eggs at a breakfast place is better. Do yourself a flavour and go to the Keg instead. The food pictures on here is like from a different place! 2hours after eating here I felt sick and puked everything out!

Great little place for some amazing food.

Wonderful food, butternut squash ravioli was divine, salmon and strip loin enjoyed by others in my group as well. Can t wait to go back and try more!

Thank you William s for accommodating our small hockey group. The back heated patio was a wonderful atmosphere for our lunch. The kids loved the pizza, and chicken fingers. All I can say is that every time I call in to book at this amazing 5 star establishment ,theres a certain feeling of happiness and excitement to be with the people working there as well as the owner of the restaurant who always has a big smile on her face. She is warm, welcoming and very flexible . What a great place to be at with family and friends where everyone feels welcomed. Now when it comes to the food I wouldve given a 10 Star but I am limited to only 5. There are several mouthwatering dishes including great desserts. Great ambiance ! Great People! Delicious food!

Williams is an excellent place to dine. We were welcomed by their friendly service staff. The food was hot and delicious. The shrimp appetizer had the right amount of garlic flavour, mmmm so good. Our main dishes were delicious, piping hot and a nice portion size. Our server was very attentive. By the end of our meal we were planning our next visit.

We hosted our Christmas party at williams and I can not say enough great things about this place. Amazing food, friendly, prompt and kind servers. They made our night special and we appreciate this amazing local business!!!

Went to Williams last night with a few colleagues. It was the first time I went there and it was amazing. The steak was perfectly done and extremely flavourful, the beer-cheese dip was outstanding and the service was phenomenal. The staff were attentive and not over bearing. I will definitely be going back.

You must go to this hidden gem in Alliston. This was my first time here and it might be my new favorite spot in the GTA. Every dish we ordered was excellent and the atmosphere was phenomenal- cozy, warm, and full of character and history. The menu is on the smaller side but I wouldn t change a thing. The staff is very friendly and well-versed in both the food and drink menu.

Its a classy place with a small-town feel, they have great food and all the staff is friendly, helpful, fun and funny. Highly recommend.

This place is absolutely amazing. The food 12/10 and the staff are so sweet

Service was friendly and quick. Ambience was decent. Menu was sparse and uninspiring. The prime rib special (found online) wasn t available which was why we went. Ended up with the fish and chips, both over cooked, and rib eye steak which was okay. Dessert was a slice of Costco chocolate cheese cake. Meal was ~$115 two drinks, two mains, one slice of cheese cake.

We d never been to Alliston and were looking for someplace to have lunch. Williams looked good and had some good reviews, turns out the reviews were dead on! We sat back in the enclosed patio which was a nice spot on a cool day. The features were French onion soup and smoked chicken wings, we had both and they were exceptional. Our server told us he created the wing rub, and it was really good. If we are ever back in that neck of the woods, we d definitely eat there again!

Had the worst breakfast I ve ever eaten. Nothing like I ordered, food was cold and looked terrible. The owner didn t charge for my meal, but it should never been delivered to the table.

Was pleasantly surprised by the food , atmosphere and the service at Williams..The ravioli melted in my mouth and my daughters chicken sandwich was the best she has ever tasted..I left with a smile knowing that ill be back with friends and family..Cheers!

Id give this place 5 stars all around for quality of food and service. Had a dinner a couple Saturday evenings and the Dinners were incredible.. I tend to dedicate may Saturday afternoons for their pasta specials, Italian food being my favorite Williams pasta holds the crown in Alliston for sure..

Live in Town but had not experienced this gem. We had to sit in the rear patio to get a table, and there was live music there. We were hesitant but pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed the music while we sat and ate, and ended up staying for 2.5 hours because OF the music (Dane Marshall). The food quality was excellent (Mussels was a special and the sauce was very well done) and the price point was quite reasonable considering quantity and quality. Service was friendly and prompt too, more professional staff than you would get at the roadhouse chains. Well be back!

Went for dinner to celebrate our 11 year anniversary. We both had the steak dinner and bruschetta to start, it was the best meal out we have ever had!!! Highly recommend!!!

Very good service. Had the dry chicken wings were very good and my brother in law had the Caesar salad and shrimp appetizer, both also very tasty. I had the pineapple ginger beer to drink. Very good also.

Apparently they have a large patio, but with three empty tables they couldnt sit one table of four. Waitress told me something along the lines of the kitchen didnt have enough food, and another waitress said they have reservations for those tables...so which is it? Not enough food to feed your clientele or ghost reservations? Either way terrible customer service.

Purely a service review since we never had food. Sat down at 655pm and heard the couple next to us looking for the waitress and when she came to them they said We thought you abandoned us . She came to us after and we joked about not abandoning us haha. Also jokes about how far away we were as we were seated at the back of the back patio. She took our drink order and in a reasonable amount of time brought us a bottle of wine and water, approx 705pm. More jokes about not being abandoned. By 745 we were finishing our bottle of wine (yes we like our wine) and said waitress had been in and out approx ten times to back patio without ever checking in again for our food order. We ordered wings at another restaurant on the phone when another waitress came and asked if we were ready to order. We paid for our wine and left. Apologies from the new waitress and we we re out. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Waitress just collecting a paycheck should be fired. No sorries. Won t be back.

The food was great. the three cheese beer dip was a great appetizer, and my whole family liked the food. The service was also very good, Christina was very nice to us!

Not sure what happened last year the food was great, i have been there three times in the last two months and gave had three bad meals. First was a steak poor quality, and over done, a chicken ceaser, the meat was dried out, and cold, and last was a rubin with no sour kraft, and the bread was burnt. Not sure whats going on but I wont be back. Its to bad it was a good place

We had a lunch meeting on the back patio last week, in the shed right at the back. The food was fantastic (appetizers, huge Swiss burgers, California wraps, & salads), and our water bottles were refilled frequently (it was SUPER hot out). The service was attentive and it made our meeting so much smoother. Thanks for a great meal and a safe outdoor dining experience!

Tucked in the middle of up and coming Alliston ON is a good place to be. A wonderful small restaurant serving up excellent food. I was here for a private function, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the foof and drink was excellent. Definitely worth stopping in!

Had my rehearsal dinner for my wedding at Williams and it was beyond all expectations! The staff was so friendly and the service was impeccable! My guests loved the food and had so many compliments about the atmosphere! Thank you Sandra for everything!! Having an even here took so much stress off of me as a host!!

We love supporting amazing local spots and this restaurant is the perfect example why. Rude waitress not wearing a mask and refused to put one on when requested. Did not check anyones vaccine status. Too bad food was good but will not return.

I drove up from Toronto today to have lunch with an old friend who suggested Williams. I loved the decor as soon as we entered - eclectic, funky and fun. The service was lovely and the food was excellent. I ordered the charcuterie board and it was definitely the most artfully arranged board I have ever seen, and everything was delicious. My friend and I spent almost two and a half hours catching up as we ate and then lingered over tea, and never once did we feel rushed so that the restaurant could turn over the table, despite the fact they had a pretty busy lunch service. I will be back!

My husband took me to Williams restaurant on 89 for my birthday yesterday Feb 03 2020. I have to say the food was out of this world, my steak was so tender I could cut it with my fork and the taste was amazing, my husband had the salmon he said it was absolutely delicious. We had cheese cake for dessert it was was so tasty. We loved everything. The waitress was super attentive. Will definitely return.

I had taken some neighbours, to Williams, in Alliston, On February 14, our reservation, was for 5 pm, which was difficult, to book, one week before, the person taking the reservation, took 20 min. to get it, after bouncing back and forth, trying to decide, if they had room! Upon arriving, I gave the name the reservation, was under, it took the person, almost 2 minutes, to find it. Upon, being seated, we were put at the back beside, the kitchen!! The gentleman, and his wife, were not happy, the gentleman, stood up, and waited for a server, and asked if we could please be moved. The staff, were not very happy. We ordered, cocktails, I asked for a Martini, with extra olives, I never got them, we ordered appetizers, I had asked for the raw oysters, they were brought o the table with 2 quarters of lime, I had to ask for the 2 vinegrettes, that are to be served with them. Asking for bread, was another story! We ordered main courses, the Ribeye steaks, are pathetic! The trout was served with no lemon, you have to ask, for everything you require. It was Valentines Day!!! We ordered the Amaretto cheesecake, for desert, all it was , a piece of plain cheese cake, no raspberry purée, nothing!!! No flavour, I mentioned it to the server, her response was, Oh, the Amaretto, was baked in it !! I and my guests, were Very Disappointed With The Restaurant!!!

My girls took me in on Sunday for my birthday lunch; indeed the atmosphere is cozy and the young woman who served us was very pleasant. Overall the food was quite good, yes, maybe a bit pricey but overall good. The burger, fish and bangers were enjoyed! My only critique would be that the mac and cheese did not taste like it had cheese in it, more like a white sauce, I would not recommend it. I also felt the Caesar dressing on the salad could be more flavourful, could not taste it over the romaine. Pepper mills would also be a nice touch along with grated cheese for these items.

Amazing place. Staff are extremely friendly and there service is outstanding. They are currently running a limited menu due to covid-19. But even with this limited menu there is a impressive selection of food. I personally have had the Philly cheese wrap and fries, Ruben sandwich with fries. Both where fantastic and portion sizing is well worth the pricing. I have added some photos of there Ruben with there strawberry Moscow mule.

Wanted to like this place, but the food ruined it. To sum it up, it s overpriced for what you get, and the food isn t even good or cooked properly. Went for a nice dinner on their new patio set up. Patio was nice, and I d give the service a 5/5, they were great, attentive and on point (server was Emily). I d give the drinks+apps 4/5, average price, decent apps. The big issue is the main course/entree food. Overpriced, and not good at all. I got the 8oz Striploin, which is $26 so at that price you except better than average cut of beef (a $10 steak from zehrs is better than this, seriously). It was a low quality piece of steak, smothered in gravy. Who takes a $26 steak, covers it in gravy, and serves it with fries? That s something I d expect in the $12-15 price range. I asked for medium rare, it was served purple rare and still cold in the middle. Didn t sent it back to be cooked more cause it was covered in gravy and I d have to wait 10+ minutes for another. My fiancée got the linguine with shrimp. It lacked any real flavour, and the pasta was way underdone. Still uncooked and hard on the inside. Can t even get pasta right, and charges $24 for that plate. Prices in the 20-30 range demand a higher standard of quality then they commit to. I would not recommend this place until they wake up and fix their food. It s way overpriced for what they re serving, and they can t even cook what they re serving properly. Seems like they want to be a high end restaurant with those prices, but don t want to be a high end restaurant with their quality. Not sure if it was an off day for them, but I ll never know because I won t be going back. The service saved Williams from only getting 1 star.

Just had a wonderful meal at Williams, great atmosphere, servers were lovely. I was extremely impressed with the continual cleaning I saw while I dined. As to the food I can honestly say that was on par with the best I ve ever had!

Williams will become a regular place to eat, food amazing, my fish was one of the best dishes I have ever had. A group of 5 of us all had amazing food, fresh, hot and delicious. Great service, we had over 2 hours of fun, laughter and we will be back.

Im not one to take the time to write a review, but Williams deserves every bit of praise! The staff went above and beyond for us! We had friendly yet professional service and the food was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was wonderful and made perfectly cozy for a winter evening. Thanks again guys, everything was excellent!
