Osmow's Shawarma in Alliston

I went there for Chicken shwarma wrap which is my favourite from Osmows Shawarma. Out of all Osmows Shawarma I tried, this was the best I ever had. All the toping and chicken was evenly wrapped in pitta bread. The customer service was the best, an employee named Bassem who took my order and made the Shawarma for me was really nice to me. I really appreciate the customer service here. Ill be back at this place when I get the chance 100%

I eat here twice a week shawarma with rice and Greek salad. It was delicious. Had the hot sauce on the side so that we could have only a little if wanted. Pleasant and quick service. Go and enjoy amazing woow 100% come back again.

If you re looking for a great place to eat, this is it! the staff are always great and the food is delicious! We go here instead of other fast food places that are greasy, not filling and expensive. Here you can have leftovers instead of being hungry later. I usually get a chicken or beef Oz Box but tonight I tried the Philly Cheese Chicken and greek salad OMG! It s sooo good! You won t regret anything you try here but this one has a lot of flavour! 10/10

I work in Alliston it s my first my first time in the area and my friend recommended me to the osmows and when I went the staff was very friendly and the manager took his time to explain the menu for me and was very patient while i was choosing and he recommended the SAJ shawarma and it was amazing and greek salad. This is the best Shwarma place ever created. The portions are a good size, the price is amazing. I always get a chicken shwarma with extra garlic sauce with a side of rice with garlic sauce. Their garlic sauce it amazing - makes you feel like drinking it. They have lots of other options. This is a go to for dinner in my Family at least twice maybe three times a month. 10/10

On this second order I got chicken shawarma poutine and I asked for onions ( which were HUGE chunks), hot peppers and extra cheese. The hot peppers and extra cheese were missing. Since the owner said I was a liar last time, I added a screenshot of my order :) Get it together. WORST osmows on Ontario. As many other reviews have said. Other locations make you look like a joke. Worst Osmows location Ive been to. Ordered a large chicken on the rocks with a bunch of added toppings (for extra $$$) and they forgot the feta cheese. They also didnt put ANY sauce in my order, or add any spice when I asked for spice. The chicken was chewy and didnt taste freshly cooked. Also the veggies on my order (lettuce + onion + tomato) were all cut very large. I had pieces of onion that were a whole bite on its own ! Overall very bad food. Service seemed okay when I came to pick it up, but unfortunately the meal wasnt edible. Waste of $25

Oct 5 2024. 12 noon. Went to this location for the first time and ordered a large chicken on the rocks. The guy was friendly and the order was quick. Brought it back to the cottage to eat. WILL NEVER RETURN. This is my first review for anything. I read other reviews out of curiosity for this location and came to similar conclusions. It lacked the sauce and was overall dry. The flavoring was also lacking something. I think it was no tahinny. Not sure if they are suppose to add it or if I am supposed to ask for it. In that case they should ask the customer if they want it. I stopped going to another South Mississauga location a while ago when they started to charge me for extra sauce. I asked them , do they give a price reduction if I dont want any sauce. She laughed and said no. Subway is amazing for this. GENEROUS !!! NEVER AGAIN FOR OSMOWS.

We were very pleased with the service tonight. The owner was very pleasant, interactive and had very good customer service skills. My family ended up talking with him after we ate and enjoyed a nice conversation. Food was delicious as well.

I would like to thank the restaurant staff for their good treatment of customers. It was my little girls birthday party on Saturday and I went there and ordered shawarma with rice and it was very delicious. Next time I will try the Fattoush salad. The girl who works there told me it was very delicious.

We try first time osmows in aliston.basim really had a good knowledge about the recipes .Food is on the spot highly recommended .we try osmows in Newmarket and Oshwa but this is the best one we had fresh food and was very tasty .basim really need appreciation for that .

This is by far the worst Osmows Ive gone to. They hold back on the amount of sauce they give you compared to other Osmows locations. When you ask for more the guy says its the standard amount and if you want more you have to pay for it. If I order ahead, they NEVER put the garlic sauce on the chicken and when I call to rectify, the guy says not everyone likes the sauce when I specifically order with the sauce! That happened to me three times already so I had to stop ordering on the phone and just go in instead. Aside from them skimping on the sauce, the chicken is ALWAYS so dry and they chop it up so small it looks like youre eating minced meat. This location is horrible when it comes to their portions. No other location skimps on sauce and ingredients as much as this location. On my latest order (Jul. 29, 2024), I ordered a Philly chicken on rice and I was told it doesnt come with garlic sauce on top and other locations do put it on. I was so annoyed, the owner didnt even put enough Philly sauce on the chicken so everything was so dry while I was eating it. This location needs to do better, stop skimping your customers.

I recently visited Osmows in Alliston and had an incredible experience. The friendly customer service provided by Bassem, the owner, was outstanding, he assisted me in taking my large catering order for my brothers birthday party and was very thorough and guided me threw it. The restaurant was super clean, the washrooms were the cleanest fast food washrooms i ve ever been and the outside and kitchen was clean too. Everyone dug in very quickly when we arrived, the smell was unlike any other, if you haven t been I recommend the tzatziki sauce with anything it s something else, overall I had the best experience from any fast food restaurant at osmows alliston. Vegetarian options: Falafel and Beyond meat is what I believe to be there only vegetarian options, although both are fantastic.

The Alliston Osmows is a great place to get an affordable, quality meal. The service is friendly and fast and the food is delicious. The restaurant is very clean and inviting if you choose to stay to eat. Alternatively, the take-out is delicious. I frequent this location often and always have fresh, healthy, and yummy options to choose from. Highly recommend!

This place was great when they first came to town. Now any time I order, items are missing, or the item is made incorrectly. I ordered hummus, advertised with 2 pitas. All i received was a container of hummus. I guess Ill eat it with my hands? Also the meat is very dry the last few times I have ordered, and the wraps arent being made with enough sauce, if any. This business has shown overall laziness and carelessness from the cooks to the management. Sad to see, because this used to be the best spot for shawarma in town.

The quality of food has gone downhill When I first visited this place when it opened I would say it had the best shawarma in town. Nowadays the chicken is dry and full of oil and their rice is really undercooked. I really wish the management considers this and takes measures.

The flavour was great, got all the sauces, and whatever is in the cup sprinkled on. The portion size was huge. I like my food and the regular plate was pretty big to have for just one person. They dont skimp on the rice or chicken or anything.

We recently had a dinner catered for 80 people from Osmow s in Alliston. Our order was Chicken and Falafel King Tut s Feast and everything was amazing! Delivery was on time, potions were substantial, the owner and his staff were very easy to deal with and made sure we had everything we needed. Chicken tastes like they picked up the leftovers from the sides of the grill. Dry, no sauce, asked for extra garlic and they turned it to extra garlic lite. Lazeez has more chicken in their meals and the fries are actually crispy and cooked properly.

I wish I could express in words how sick I have felt since having a chicken shawarma from here. I have been in the hospital for several days from food poisoning. I have lost days of work and they are keeping me here longer because of how it has affected my body.

Worst osmow wrap i ever had, bread used is like expired, hard to chew and paper sticking all around it.

Selling dried out old chicken and skimping out on the sauce is bad for business. Trying to make me pay extra for the amount of sauce you always used to put is silly too... Today was my last visit to Alliston Osmows. Eden is just around the corner and has never served me old dried out chicken.

Food use to be better. All of a sudden it is full and I mean FULL of onions and tomatoes. Totally killed the flavor of the food.

I first tried this chain in Brampton and was thrilled to discover we got one in Alliston. They were really easy to work with for planning the catering and everyone loved the food! BEWARE! Just walked out of this location, and I will not be returning. Cashier added extra charges and said its standard to add this without the customers consent. This is the worst osmows I ve been to. The chicken is never fresh straight from a bucket and never placed on the grill. So dry and tasteless the rice must have been cooked hours ago if not yesterday. Definitely not up to the standard I ve known for years going to locations around the city. The salad was over 50% onions. I get it times are tough but I paid 37 dollars for two oz boxes and two canned drinks. Will not be back and don t recommend wasting your money here there are better shawarma restaurants in Alliston to visit.

Whoever is working today should get a new job. None of the items we ordered were made with love. Chicken on salad was literally swimming in water. It also had a really weird taste to it I dont know if the recipe was changed or if there was a different seasoning added, but the flavour was terrible. Ordered two Chicken Shawarmas they came looking completely different from one another. One was double the size of the other and shaped like a sandwich and one was closer to regular size, but the wrap job was mangled. The inside of the Shawarma was lackluster- basically one pickle one shred of lettuce and one turnip. We also ordered a Philly cheese steak and it was completely swimming and sauce. I understand theres an element of that especially if you order it to go and have it 15 minutes later, but it was literally pooling and soaked, as was the bag it came in! Osmows has gone down hill.

One of the best spots in town and service with a smile

Inconsistent portion size. It is hit or miss every time I go there if you re gonna get a proper serving size or a mediocre serving size . If the owner is working behind the counter, expect to get 2/3 of the takeout container. Other times one of the staff will properly fill the takeout container to a reasonable fill for the price. Today, was an absolute joke, the associate barely filled the to go takeout container half way (literally half a serving). And had to be reminded to add more. Even my friend who ordered a OzBox was seriously dissatisfied. Barely any salad and a half serving of chicken on the rocks. Our meals were nearly 20$ each, for that I expected a meal . I will have to start taking my service elsewhere unless some consistency and value for money becomes standard. Other locations have been great, this one is obviously run on a nickel and dime mentality In the past ive also caught the cashier adding extra charges to the order (extra garlic sauce 0.85$) even though I denied wanting it. Didn t catch it until i looked at my receipt. And definitely did not even get the extra on the meal.

It is an excellent place with lot of choices. Staff is very friendly. It s a complete meal store with fully loaded food boxes. Never disappoints.

Owner greeted us with a smile, was super polite and explained their new menu. Food was prepared quickly and served with care. I know this is a chain, but the service we received felt like it was a sit down restaurant. If you are in the area, this is definitely a staple local food stop.

I purchased dinner for my husband and I from this location. I never thought twice about the quality, hence the brand. But I was very disturbed hearing my husband say he could not finish his meal, even before I had started mine. His choice, chicken shawarma wrap, and mine chicken shawarma on the rocks. Both, we re terrible. You could tell the ingredients were aged or artificial, and the blend of the sauce was very off. I had two bites, and through my mouth full in the garbage. To round it off, I paid 30 dollars for bad food. Not just taste, I mean bad food that upsets your stomach. This experience will haunt us and regrettably, we will never go to an Osmosis again. Our regards.

I love osmows but the alliston one is subpar, and this is not the first time we ve had a bad experience with the osmows in alliston. The rice today smelled like it had gone bad. They always ask if we want extra garlic sauce and when we say no, they give the smallest amount of sauce that covers around 1/6 of the meat. If you can, make a trip to the angus one.

I eat from this location every week. Drive from shelburne rather than going to orangeville because they suck. I almost everyday had GOOD Experience except there oct 15 special where they reduced there qty by 1/3. Promotional item needs to have same qtyy rather than saving on all.

First and foremost the worker or owner was super nice and this is not a negative comment towards that person. My comment is for all Osmows locations. This place use to be one of the best places to get a Schwarma but they are disguising now...no flavor, the toppings taste stale and they eliminated olives and parsley from an already scarce topping list. I will never return to an Osmows ever again! I threw out half my Schwarma and I was hungry! Thats how bad it was!

To be honest, I was disappointed by the quality of food. It was meh. It wasn t terrible, but you could tell they changed the rice from yellow turmeric shawarma rice, to white rice, with some kind of seasoning to make it look a bit yellow (it honestly tasted EXACTLY like 5 min instant white rice) the chicken was okay, but I ve never had a shawarma place charge extra for the sauce that goes on top. I paid 17$ for chicken and rice and I don t even feel satisfied. I m sure they could get away with this in alliston, because there s not much culture here or options, but it s a solid 4/10, at the most. But on the more optimistic side; the restaurant was clean, and the workers were fairly nice.

I ve been a customer here for almost 2 years and it really hurts me to have to write this. As time has gone on the food has gotten worse and the owners have become unreasonable stingy. I am a long time, die-hard, Osmows fan as I have been eating Osmows for 5 years now. I always come to this location and there are a few problems that are really crucial to address since I will never come back to this location. First of all, this is the only Osmows location where the chicken is tough and feels like well done steak, and where the rice is even more tough to the point where they feel undercooked. Also, the garlic sauce is very pasty unlike every other Osmows where it is creamy. However, the worst part is how stingy the person operating this restaurant is. Whenever I go to here I always order extra garlic sauce, however, my meal is always dry and left unbearably spicy since there is not enough garlic sauce to balance the hot sauce that I order. Mind you, I pay for extra garlic sauce so I m not asking for something above and beyond. All in all, avoid this place and go somewhere more local since it will always be more fresh.

I ve been to Osmow s many times, and always been satisfied with their food and customer service and they maintain a very clean environment.my favourite shawarma place in town I highly recommend it to all the shawarma lovers!

The best ever happy meal I got at this restaurant. Their falafel and fattoush is oh my god! Amazing. Plus the fries and rice are such a good taste of freshness. 5 star service with so cleanliness and tidy place and a peaceful environment.

I walked in to blaring music from a flashy black PA speaker and a blaring tv. I tried to call my son to get his order but I couldnt hear him due to the competing sounds. I had to ask him to text me his order. Once I had his text, I tried to place his order and mine, but could neither hear nor understand the lady serving me. After the fourth attempt to communicate, we got our order started. I guess it was the guy cooking who was playing the music so he could hear it under the fans, but man! I have my usual order at the Osmos in Rexdale where the portion is huge and if you prder it spicy hot, it is very spicey! Here it was barely warm, not hot at all. The meat tasted dry and the toppings were sparse. It was the most underwhelming meal I have ever had at an Osmos. For just under $50, I got 2 swarma wraps, 2 cokes and some fries. In addition, I got to be frustrated and unable to communicate with people I was trying to do business with.

As soon as I heard of the opening a while back I hadnt been more excited to know my favourite restaurant was coming to alliston. I honestly love the food so much, the customer service is wonderful, and there is such wait time, honestly a 10/10 experience I would recommend eating here it is the best place to go in my opinion.

Love that they have the Beyond Steak on their menu. I was getting tired of just having falafel all the time. The Alliston Osmows makes a great shawarma.

My first time going to osmows and Nisreen gave me great service, we were greeted with a wonderful smile and a positive attitude and the food was prepared in a timely fashion and tasted amazing. And the best part was how clean the washrooms were, this is definitely a place Im gonna be eating at more often and I give thanks to the staff at Osmows alliston, keep up the good work.

A Taste of Authenticity at this Osmow s location. Osmowos has always been my favourite shawarma spot. Likely, this location is far better than the others. I opted for the chicken shawarma wrap, and it was a decision Ill never regret. The chicken was exquisitely seasoned and cooked to tender perfection. Wrapped in a freshly baked pita, with a harmonious blend of tahini sauce, pickles, and just the right amount of garlic sauce, it was a delight in every bite. The service was another high point. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. They seemed genuinely proud of their offerings, ,and rightfully so. Keep it up guys for the best shawarma.
