Very disappointing to be offered a table dhôte but to say we dont have any soup its still supper time

VERY BAD experience and service last Saturday. We were a sports group who ordered 18 meals for young people and delivered to the Desjardins sports complex. They offered us to each pay their invoice to the delivery man...but around the 14th person paid, we realized that they had charged $3.00 in delivery costs on EACH INVOICE!!! 18x3=54$ plus tax=62.10 plus tip..... IMAGINE THE AMOUNT for ONE DELIVERY We have contacted the restaurant. The manager told us that this was the procedure since they had to monopolize a delivery person.... Honestly, he was only there for 10 minutes... Anyway, I asked to speak to the owner, he was supposed to call me back the next day....GUESS, no return call. The next day, we did THE SAME THING at ST-HUBERT, ahhhh Well.... them, NO delivery charges since we had a large order. SO GUESS where we are going to order for ALL of our upcoming tours and teams. And it s CERTAIN that we won t give you great publicity.

Good restaurant but we had a waitress who was probably impaired. Because she told us she had just had some beers before her shift. And it had already happened to my father-in-law who had seen her at the bar with several drinks and 1 hour later she was working and she was very curt about her response. Otherwise the rest was ok

To begin with, a really unpleasant welcome from the hostess who responds very curtly when we ask for the waiting time....30 minutes of waiting to take the order, 1 hour and more waiting for lunch. Ask for extra vegetables and a ton of onions instead... Burnt toast. Waffles without the accompaniment....no water.... No toast condiments... What can I say... I am very disappointed with the service and the food. .......strongly recommends against

I ended up getting a call from the owner to finally tell us that the fact of having traveled 150 km to spend the afternoon waiting for our meal and losing our afternoon of shopping earned us no compensation, but that excuses from arguing. This is an owner who has no respect for the satisfaction of his customers. Val-dOr restaurants have great respect for their customers and offer compensation for inconveniences of this type. Very good reason to no longer spend our money in this restaurant. PS Dont waste time communicating with the email that we will give you after your complaint..., its useless. Its just to look good when people respond to us, nothing more. Sent an email as requested on July 29 but was never responded to. Sent another email on September 29th with no response. Left Val-dOr on Sunday for Amos to have lunch at Mikes. Arrived at 12:15 p.m. and the time to get our plates once the order was placed was 1 hour 20 minutes. The hostess had told us that there would be delays but we were far from imagining that it would take so long. If she had told us at the start that it would be around 1 hour, we would not have stayed because we also wanted to shop and really didnt have enough time to do so. The food was 5 stars though but we had to eat very quickly due to lack of time.

Impossible to reserve, terribly long waiting time both before managing to get a table and getting your plate. No dinner before 2 p.m. This restaurant was great before but now that the owner has changed its a real joke. It would take less time to go to Val Dor at Mikes, eat and come back than to take this restaurant. Plus we would have service with a smile.

Good service, delicious food, one of the best restaurants in town

Mikes is one of my favorite restaurants but at Amos I had more unpleasant experiences than at Valdor for example. It was becoming more and more dirty and neglected in the establishment. We dont always get what we paid for when ordering (the extras, gratins or desserts not there and no refund) the waiting time is sometimes endless for nothing, sometimes with good reason.

Excellent vegetarian pizza. Couples dinner on August 7, 2021. We ordered a medium vegetarian pizza for $20.99 with stuffed crust for $3.49 with a portion of spicy fries for $5.49 for a total of $34.46 with taxes. Its not cheap as always at Mikes but I admit that the pizza satisfied us. As for the fries, it was OK but way too expensive for what is offered in terms of portion and quality. Mikes also goes hard for the additional cost of $3.49 for the stuffed crust. We were very well served by the friendly Sophie-Anne. We left a $5.17 tip in cash. It took 1 hour of waiting before we got our meal, the chips were way too spicy, the onion soup was not good at all. We asked for utensils. We were not offered a glass of water..The pizza was good but the dough was too thick.

Excellent food, but disappointing delivery service. I waited 25 minutes despite the fact that I ordered 2 hours and 10 minutes in advance.

June 17, 2020, there are approximately 7 tables in the restaurant. We have been waiting for 1h15 for our entry. There are 3 waitresses and a waiter. The wait is way too long, it makes no sense. Unfortunately, this will be our last presence in the restaurant. Very very disappointing...

Waited 1.5 hours for our meals. Extra 15 mins longer for the 3 small children with simple meals. Madam yelled at me because I didnt know that we had to get out of a back door that wasnt obvious. Not impressed.

The dining room needs renovations because the leatherette of the benches is cracked, the ladies bathroom is dilapidated but the service is very good, courteous and fast.

I went to get my submarine at the counter because the delivery had not started. When I opened the box of the 14 superstar submarine I was discouraged. It wasnt wrapped in paper, the cheese was stuck in the bottom of the box, he put the meat on one side of the hotdog bun and the cheese on the other side. There was no onion, no mushroom, no pepper, just 2 slices of tomato on top of the meat. No spiced oil. I ordered a superstar around 2-3 weeks (Friday evening) but now I dont really know. I hope the new owners will remedy this problem at least I hope so.
