My husband and I visited and we enjoyed the chicken shawarma, well fried chips and oh! we love the salad. Great service we will be visiting again.

The place reminded me of a subway, full of clutter. The falafels were deep fried perfectly very light,fluffy with no flavour. The chicken Shawarma over rice was very bland . Not impressed . It took 15 minutes after ordering to receive the food.

I had a great experience at GO TANGO , thanks to the fantastic service from Moh and Moumen. They were attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The grilled chicken was a standout dish tender and flavorful. I highly recommend this place for a lovely meal!

Had worst experience. We placed an order for take out. They told us to wait for 10 minutes but they haven t given our order for about 45 minutes and order was made incorrect. Never gonna come back at this location. Unhygienic location. The cook was sweating and making food like that only. Really really dissatisfied

Bought chicken shawarma with the spicy potatoes for me and the wife ($39). One of the worst shawarmas weve ever had. The shawarma was super dry, didnt taste any of the garlic or the hot sauce that supposedly shouldve been there. Also, the whole thing was so small. They did load us up on the spicy potatoes tho, just too bad they were so soggy and didnt taste good. Will definitely not be going there back, thats for sure.

I and my family (and friends) have been patrons at the Ancaster location for over 6 years. The food is perfection. It is clean eating every step of the way. (The food itself is not only nutritious but it is prepared so clean on your plate). This eatery is spotless in environment and food preparation. I am a customer for life.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch today. We had our 3 year old daughter. Upon walking in we were greeted by the man who made our food later. He was super polite and had a warm smile. I was asking my daughter what she wanted and the man offered her a sample of the chicken used in shwarma. My daughter loved it. And the man was so sweet to her. We ordered 3 shwarmas and a bowl with shwarma chicken and fries for my little. The food was amazing. The wraps were loaded and full of fresh toppings. The order was made right without needing to remind them on the changes to the food. The helping for my daughter is enough to feed her 3 times! I had such an amazing experience here. And the food was phenomenal. Ill 100% be coming back. I highly recommend. Kid-friendliness: The man was so sweet to my 3 year old. Kind and warm hearted.

Food lacks flavour, chicken was tough, garlic potatoes were dry, came by looking at the reviews which really dont align with the worst quality food. Waste of $30.

I ordered 2 shawarma and chicken wings. The wings were over cooked and Shawarma didnt have enough sauce and soaked vegetables, didnt feel like fresh. First time I had a good experience but this time it was not worth the amount paid. Dont buy their chicken wings.

Been coming here for years and have never had an issue, it s the best shawarma spot for miles. Prices have gone up since before covid, but portions are still generous and the staff are friendly.

Ordered the combo plate but didnt realize it didnt come with the usual fixings like turnip, pickles etc. Ordered potatoes no spice and they were very spicy still. Wasnt to confident in the hygiene of the staff with lots of touching things and food without cleansing. Overall, not bad but not sure if Id head back unless in a pinch.

The quality of the food has gone down. It was one of my favourite restaurants in Ancaster a few years back, unfortunately not anymore. The Tango Hummus Plate was disappointing, the chicken was dry and tasteless, seemed like crumbs/crumbly chicken. Not much taste to it. Hummus was average, used to be fantastic. Greek Salad was also just average and tonly a tiny bit of feta. Doesnt feel like they use fresh ingredients the way they did before. Really bad value!

Best shawarma in the city!

This is my go to shawarma spot in Hamilton fantastic quality and service friendly owner and the food is always on point. I highly recommend the beef shawarma.

I love donairs which they make here, too make it authentic East Coast, what are your Donair with just tomato, onions and always ask for extra sweet sauce and have them warm up the Pita..dont toasted it... fries to me area little bit on the expensive side .. doesnt sit lot of people. The atmosphere: I have been in there a few different times, sometimes the musics really loud sometimes theres no music sometimes its just the TV playing.. but it seems to be a popular place because a lot of people coming and going.. I will return for the donairs because one of the best ones Ive had in Ontario so far and Im in East coaster.

Looks like this place has changed ownership because the new staff were really not up to the mark. The food is grossly high priced and no one is wearing gloves or hair cover when handling food. I saw the lady who works behind the counter use her phone, scratch her nose and then use the same hand to pick up two falafels and place it in an order. The gentleman behind the counter was also handling food w bare hands Needless to say, we won t be coming back here which is a shame because we use to love this place when it first opened.

Was an ok chicken shawarma. Ready quickly. Chicken was too lightly seasoned. Sauce had to do all the work. Few toppings. I was very hungry, but not returning.

If you re looking for disappointment then this is the place! Every single time we have been here something has been wrong with the order and don t realize until we are home. Will find better tasting for less hassle somewhere else. Price isn t worth the lack of flavour and being treated like dirt by the staff either.

My fiancé and I just had it for takeout tonight and not a word was said for a good 15 minutes after opening the boxes. Then we both looked up and both said holy smokes! It was so dang good! First time visitor, really happy I stopped by. Im kind of a shawarma geek and it was a better experience than I was expecting. Bought a Tango Plate which came with rice, shawarma meat, flame-grilled veggies, hummus and falafel, fattoush and a pita plus a drink. Generous portions, fresh ingredients and really tasty, charcoal-tinged flavours. Fattoush was perfectly dressed with pita chips that werent burnt like some other places. My 8 year old daughter couldnt stop telling me how tasty it was. Will come back!

My favourite place to eat

We came here the first time today. Absolutely loved the food. I had sheesh towak, my husband has shawarma sandwich and kids had chicken, rice and fries. Rice were so delicious, chicken well cooked and delicious. I was surprised to find even fries delicious. We enjoyed our lunch and even had leftovers for dinner. well priced and great food. We will be back for sure.

I had the tango combo, came with chicken, rice, fried veggies, salad and a couple falafel (which was a very nice touch). It was great, very healthy and very classy. I felt like we went to a fine dining restaurant.

One of the best shawarmas in the city

Coming from the Nation s Capital City - and home of some of the best shawarma in the province I was on the hunt for shawarma equally as amazing in the Hamilton region. After sampling shawarma all over the city, I was pleasantly surprised by Go Tango. Right under my nose in Old Ancaster. Excellent quality chicken. Tabouleh made fresh and the pita is amazing.

Stumbled upon this place after my workout. I ordered a chicken shawarma and I have to say I am glad I stopped by. Best shawarma I ve ever had. It was fresh, substantial and well priced. I ll be back

I travel alot with work. Tango has the best chicken shwarma sandwich by far. The owner works hard and the meat is always good quality. Always nice and hot off the grill.

Great food, regularly visit this place but the owner really needs to improve his customer service. You might be having a bad day but dont take it out on your customers, they are what keep you in business! EDIT: Just placed another order, shawarma was clearly not cooked the way a Shawarma should, this was cooked on a flat top and chopped up (also missing the tahini). Wifes order or babatango was missing pickles, olives etc. Wow, this place fell off huge. Thats my last order from this place...
