Good food, expensive now... server forgot one of our apps... couldnt find her after, didnt touch the table to see if we were good. Normally service is great, we were there on an off night I guess...

I ve visited Brassie s Pub in Ancaster several times and it has consistently delivered a great experience. The staff are attentive and friendly, making each visit enjoyable. The food is always good, with a solid menu offering. On my most recent visit, which was a Friday night, the pub was quite busy and a bit noisy, but that s a testament to its popularity. Overall, Brassie s remains a reliable spot for a satisfying meal and pleasant atmosphere.

My fav place in the gta. Food is phenomenal everything is freshly cooked all sauces and soups gravy ect are made in house. They have deals Monday thru Friday deals which are incredible! From half price wing half price apps cheap beers and wine you just can t beat their deals! Love this place!!!!

First visit sitting on the patio, lovely atmosphere. Our server Claudia was fantastic! She was attentive and anticipated our every need. She is an asset to the establishment! The food was not your average pub fare, definitely beyond expectations. Thanks Claudia for your awesome service, you made our dining experience such a pleasure!

I went to Brassies yesterday ( a Thursday) with my mom, as she had a coupon for a free order of wings. When we dropped in at around 4:30 without a reservation, it was quite busy and just a tad loud, but not offensively so. There was a sign indicating to wait to be seated...almost right away we were greeted by a smiling young hostess. My mother mentioned we would like a booth, and she freely directed us to the last one even though we were only 2! Alas when we got to the booth we realized it was a huge semi-circular booth which would have accommodated a larger group, which, by the looks of things would walk in shortly (it did). So we directed ourselves to a table for 2 with a comfy bankette on one side. Our server ( I regret I forgot her name) was lovely and promptly took our drink orders. Right off the bat she gladly received the coupon without issue. We opted for the medium wings and mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce as I had fond memories of them from my childhood. The food arrived quickly and hot. The wings were a really good size and nice and saucy, but they were more of a mild sauce then medium but had a nice vinegary kick. The carrot and celery sticks were a bit underwhelming but the blue cheese sauce was very good. And they came with no additional cost like some places these days. Being Thursday, it was half price apps. The mozzarella sticks that we had I remembered were exactly that... Kid friendly and had to be eaten hot as they turned to a rather an appetizing texture after a while. Also being Thursday my 9 oz glass of wine was priced at the 6 oz value! Overall it was substantial enough and economical. I would like to try other things on the menu as I saw other tables receiving nachos and salads that looked really good! Cheers!

Outstanding meal, Great atmosphere too.

We came as a large group while visiting for a horse show, the food was excellent. The beef dip and brisket sandwiches were very good. Serving sizes are excellent. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. Would definitely recommend! Food

Went there when in the area. Hadnt been in for maybe 20+ years. The server was awesome, the food not so much. Nachos were fantastic and not nearly as salty as they used to be - huge portion and it was the best part of the meal. We had 2 adult meals and 1 kids meal - all 3 of us found our food not so great. It was like the spices and the sauces were not complimentary and left us not pleased with the taste and we were incredibly happy we had ordered the nachos. We were hoping for traditional pub fare and found that it was almost like someone was trying their spin on it and it just didnt work for us. We felt it was a bit odd that none of us enjoyed our food - we had a sandwich, burger and pizza and it just wasnt up to our expectations. Well try going again in the future, hopefully after the menu has changed.

The Brassie never ceases to disappoint. Stopped in for a quick drink and grab some wings to go. Quick, efficient service and great wings when I got home!

Our trip was a post grocery shopping trip to Lombard, and we decided for a early supper.

Food was really good and we had a great service.

Went for mothers day. Food was awesome. Most of our party had fish and chips. Crispy batter thick fish. I had coconut shrimp tacos. OMG!!! They were amazing! Nothing bad to say. Kid-friendliness: No issues getting high chair. Good options on kids menu.

Stellar service and great food. The place was packed but the team worked very hard for everyone and ran a smooth operation. Food and drinks came out way quicker than we expected. Huge portions and really good food. Sadly the table next to us, that sat down after us started complaining about waiting for 2 hours, it was literally 45 minutes. He bragged to the table he was going to get something compd and wouldnt let up until the manager came. This apparent regular should have known they were busy on Thursday but what bothered me most was his attitude towards the amazing server. The manager handled it with grace, I really wanted to voice my opinion but was asked not to. Cant wait to come back, even if it takes 45 minutes, umm, 2 hours

We had heard about the wings at the Brassie, so we went for Wednesday Wing night with four other family. The place was packed, very loud, with a 45-minute wait. We waited. Our waitress was good. We all but one ordered wings. I asked for medium with lots of sauce. Our waitess said there was an upcharge for lots of sauce. Others had been there before and said the wings as well-sauced. When my medium wings arrived, they looked like someone had forgotten to sauce them. I was pretty disappointed. I sent them back, and they returned with a LITTLE more sauce, and I was charged extra. No other restaurant has ever charged me for ample wing sauce, ever. Not only was there STILL not much wing sauce, but the sauce itself was cold, so now my wings were cold too. And worse yet, my sister found a very ling hair in her wings. Thankfully, the waitress replaced them, but I was now totally turned off. I didnt want to eat, now worried about someones hair in my food. We should have asked for the manager, but my family preferred to just let it go and didnt want to cause an issue. From my perspective, anemic sauce on wings followed by additional charges to add sauce that makes my dinner cold are not good things. Further, finding a long hair in the wings was a complete turn-off. My Google Maps showed I was at Brassie and asked me for a review to help others. So, here it is.

Buffalo cauliflower was bland and mushy. Fries were mushy. Server was nice. Atmosphere ok, but food was substandard.

The Brassie Pub is by far one of the finest establishments ive ever had the pleasure to attend. Whether it be a cocktail with a date, or beers with a group of friends, The Brassie is sure to fit the bill. The food is amazing and dont get me started on the owner, management and staff. They are some of the most amazing humans Ive ever had the pleasure to meet. The kitchen manager and kitchen staff are equally as pleasurable to be around if perhaps youre lucky enough to bump into one of them after one of their shifts. I give the Brassie 100 stars and 16 thumbs up. I will certainly be back.

We went on wing night and it was hopping! I got the strawberry pecan salad it was amazing! My friend got the chicken fingers and fries and they were solid! Would love to try more on the menu!

Call ahead for a reservation! It will make things less chaotic when you just show up on a Saturday night expecting a table for six. We were seated promptly once a table did open up. Our waitress, Tori was clear, concise, and kept all our orders straight the whole evening. Her good humor and sass made a somber occasion lighter and filled with laughter. Being my first time at Brassie Pub, I had only heard legendary rumors about their nachos. The rumors are true! Huge serving, evenly distributed cheese (very important), and great taste. You get your moneys worth. The pub itself is nice, bathrooms are spotless and stocked up. The atmosphere while loud, was friendly. More than once people came in and stopped at other tables to say hi to friends. Kudos to Tori for putting up with our table and being a good sport in all. Ill give this 5/5 stars and definitely going back!

I visited the Brassie Pub the other day, first and foremost the service was fantastic. Based on reviews I ordered the smoked brisket with a Caeser salad. The seasoning, sauce and flavor on the smoked brisket was good however the meat was dry. I was flabbergasted to receive the bill, including tax and the tip cost me $32 for lunch.

Best wings and tacos

Came here twice in a row after hockey on a Wednesday at 9:30 and they have no wings the server told us they were out for a half an hour before we got there. Come on Brassie you got to better than this. Love your wings!!! Please keep more wings in stock. If you keep more wings in stock you will get 5 stars. Every time the wings are out of stock you loose a star.

My experience was, there is a very nice people working there food delicious well presented well recommended.

The bar and restaurant were very busy with couples, families, groups at tables and guys at the bar, Steady influx of people some socializing and others watching sports . Enjoyed a Chicken Parmigiano sandwich. Will always recommend this place to friends and visitors.

The food and drink here are always exceptional. The staff even though a little over worked (possibly due to under staffing) are always courteous and pleasant, and the atmosphere is so warm and inviting. Make sure you stop by on a wednesday their wings are worth it.

This pub is right by our house so we go often. The service and food are consistently awesome and we just love it here. You wont be disappointed! Everything is delicious and their daily specials are excellently priced. Enjoy! Just came here to add that Winging Wedneaday rocks cause theyre wings are absolutely fantastic!!

Updated review: We decided to give Brassies another chance, we were very pleased with the service this time. We were seated and our drink order was taken straight away. Our drinks and food came in a timely manor, and was pleased with my meal. I had the Shrimp Mediterranean Fettuccine which was great. We will be coming back again. Last Friday evening we came to have dinner, we all ordered drinks, 15 minutes passed by and the waitress comes back to ask my husband his drink order as she had forgotten what it was. Then another 15 minutes pass by and we all still do not have drinks and we turn around to find our waitress, only to see her chatting at the bar not doing a single thing. Unfortunately we did not even get to order our food either so we decided to leave and go to BP.

The nachos were amazing.

. This is a very popular place in Lancaster as attested by the noise level. We were a group of six so far little bit of a challenge to hear each other. The food was excellent. Service was was above par! We were in a corner booth against an outside window so we could feel the cold emanating from the glass. I will definitely go back to this place but not with a big group.

Been to the pub several times and I can say the Brassie Nachos are the best thing this place has to offer. Their service however is terrible. We go in tonight and the host says the server will be right over. A group of three young guys enter behind us and are seated afterwards, yet the server takes their drink orders and then the drinks are brought to them before any server comes to our table. Walked right out without a care.

Food is great pub fare but don t go on a Wednesday night when it s 1/2 price wings ! You can t hear the person across the table from you due to noise . Make reservations too because every table is taken!

We had the best time at the brassie tonight! Mia was our server and she was amazing, we had a lot of odd requests and she really accommodated us! We loved the food and left with our stomachs full!

The Brassie is a great pub in Ancaster. I often go for their Taco Tuesday special. The food is always great and the service is always really friendly. My only complaint is that sometimes the service can be a little slow depending on the night.

We were charged for 2 ectra beers than we had and were forced to pay for 12$ more than we spent. Definitely don t recommend if you are hoping for good service.

Real English pub with great food and good portions. Really good poutine and fajitas. Ate with a party of 8 adults and 2 kids. One adult in a huge motorized wheelchair fit fine.

My daughter and I spent the day in Grimsby and on the way back home after stopping at road side fruit/veggie stands we were hungry. We Googled a search for great burger places near by and within 5 minutes were at Brassie Pub. Great choice! The staff were so polite and welcoming to the pub. The service was fast . Our server Melissa was so pleasant , kind and friendly. A real JOY And The food was so delicious, Hot and Fresh Yum Ate everything on my plate. Have not had a good meal like this in years. Came in for my wedding anniversary on Saturday October 14th at 830pm. Place was packed, plates of food everywhere. Hostess told us we could only order from a 5 line late night menu.Apparently the 80 people in 10 minutes prior could eat properly..but 832 is the cut off. There was no vegetarian or healthy eating options on this extremely limited menu. Its eight frigging thirty...that is not late night. Late night is after 11pm. Had to do a double take to make sure I wasnt speaking with an 80 year old. Not the place for dining after 8pm...pick a nightclub or bar..better choices

OK crazy busy Wednesday afternoon, seat yourself sign it said so I did ,dirty table, servers rushing by, waited 15 minutes then left. Now I will return, it looked like they were short staffed, before Christmas. Have had great service before. Not today.

We stopped in Sat afternoon for lunch. The food was delicious and well presented. Fish Tacos, taco soup, Philly Steak sandwich, mashed potatoes with gravy, all excellent. We definitely will return!
